Return of the Dark King?

"I think that about does it for the banter, now die!" Yelled Ganondorf! He aims his hands towards the Dex Holders and proceeds to fire several bolts of dark energy. Quickly, all 6 Dex Holders proceed to jump out of the way of the incoming attack.

"BLIZZAGA!" Yelled Blue. She raises her staff up and it puffs out snow and ice crystals, which then proceed to rush towards Ganondorf. Ganondorf simply smiles and raises one of his hands into the air. From the ground comes forth black flames, which proceeds to block the incoming ice magic.

"Eat this you bastard!" Yelled Silver. He jumps towards Ganondorf, who proceeds to disappear in a black sphere of energy. "Huh?"

Suddenly Ganondorf proceeds to appear from behind Silver, and kicks him.

"AGH!" Yelled Silver as he goes crashing into a nearby wall.

"I see you've brought a few friends, they'll all soon be dealt with!" Said Ganondorf. He raises his hand and charges up a ball of dark energy.

"NO!" Yelled Red, he comes from the side and rams into Ganondorf.

"Ugh! You impertinent fool!" Said Ganondorf with disdain, he proceeds to ram the ball of dark energy into Red, and sends him flying into a nearby wall.

"AHH!" Yelled Red. He along with the ball of dark energy crashes into the wall, and the ball bursts in an explosion.

"RED!" Yelled the other Dex Holders.

"You bastard, you'll pay for that!" Yelled Gold. He takes out his lance and rushes towards Ganondorf. He jumps and tries to stab Ganondorf, only for Ganondorf to grab a hold of his lance. Gold's eyes widen and several dark bolts of energy are then conducted onto Gold's blade. Gold proceeds to scream out in pain.

"This isn't good, those guys are getting creamed down there!" Called out Pit's voice.

"Pit, I think I know you well enough now to figure that you may want to help them, but don't. It's their trials, let them handle it!" Said Dyntos voice.

"And what happens if they get killed exactly? What then?" Asked Pit's voice.

"I have long observed the human race, as simple of a lot as they are, they are capable of a great many things. Now sit back, shut up, and let them get past the trial!" Said Dyntos voice.

Green is seen trying to slash Ganondorf several times, but much like the other Dex Holders, he's had the same amount of luck, and is immediately back fisted by Ganondorf for his trouble.

"Hm hm hm. My my, it seems that the lot of you have grown weaker since our last encounter, not that I particularly mind." Said Ganondorf.

"Man, is it just me, or is Ganondorf a lot stronger than he was the last time?" Asked Blue.

"Or maybe he was always this strong, and last time you just got lucky..." Said Silver.

"No, I refuse to believe that." Said Red. "Stronger or not, I won't let it end this way!"

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Oh really? Tell me Keyblade wielder, how exactly are you going to see to it that you won't? Face it, you're completely powerless against me. When I'm done disposing of all you vermin, I shall once again claim the universe as my throne!" Said Ganondorf.

"The universe was never your throne to begin with, of course being as arrogant as you are, you probably never realized that to begin with." Said Red.

"What?" Asked Ganondorf, his smile now turning into a snarling frown.

"Oh you heard me." Said Red. "The universe was never yours to begin with, you and the rest of the Dark Circle lost all because you thought you could control the darkness."

"Silence! I am the King of Evil, the bringer of darkness! Of course I have complete and total control over it!" Said Ganondorf.

"Oh really, because if I remember it correctly, you gave in to it's power and turned into a savage beast. A beast that me and my friends took down. You had no control over the darkness then, and you sure as Hell don't have control over it now!" Said Red.

"YOU!" Yelled Ganondorf. "I'LL KILL YOU!" Ganondorf proceeds to charge his hand with dark energy and fires it towards Red.

"RED, STEP OUT OF THE WAY!" Yelled Green.

Red grabs a hold of his Keyblade and proceeds to slash it towards the ball of dark energy. The dark ball of energy is seen pushing Red back.

"Woah, he can manage to keep that at bay?" Asked Crystal.

"Yes, but not for long! Red, GET OUTTA THERE!" Said Blue.

"Worthless waste of flesh, die!" Yelled Ganondorf. He presses the darkness further, and pushes Red back some more.

"Wait a minute. Ganondorf is vulnerable in this state!" Thought Gold to himself. "BLUE, USE THUNDER MAGIC NOW!"

"Huh? What is that gonna..." Asked Blue.

"DO IT NOW!" Yelled Gold.

"Alright. THUNDAGA!" Yelled Blue. She proceeds to raise her staff into the air, and the tip cackles with electricity. Soon several bolts of electricity come down and hit Ganondorf.

"UGH! What!?" Yelled Ganondorf.

"HYAH!" Yelled Red, his Keyblade wins out and proceeds to launch the ball of darkness back towards Ganondorf.

"What!? NO!" Yelled Ganondorf. The ball of dark energy proceeds to shroud Ganondorf and launch him towards the ceiling and then explodes.

"Wow! That was some fast thinking on their part!" Said Pit's voice.

"Indeed. I told you that humans are capable of doing great things when they put their minds to it." Said Dyntos.

Back at the battlefield, we see that the smoke is covered to the brim with smoke.

"Did that get him?" Asked Red.

"Somehow I highly doubt that." Said Silver.

Little by little, the smoke begins to clear, and we see sticking in the ceiling is Ganondorf, now covered in burn marks. He proceeds to break free and slowly descends to the ground. His breathing becomes rapid and more beast like.

"Y-you...you will not live to see the end...of this day!" Said Ganondorf. His entire body becomes shrouded in a black aura, and his muscles begin to bulge.

"Oh no, it's happening again!" Yelled Green.

"What is?" Asked Crystal.

"He's transforming into a beast, a juggernaut of pure hatred and destruction!" Said Green.

Ganondorf's eyes become blank, and the bottom pair of canine teeth become enlarged like tusks. His clothing begins to rip, and his skin turns green. He grows large black claws, and in his hands, forged from dark energy come forth two golden blades. His nose becomes pig or boar like in appearance, and his hair becomes taller and a darker crimson shade. The beast that was once Ganondorf looms over them and proceeds to let out a loud roar.

"Gr!" Growled Red. "Of course, things can never be to easy, can they?"

Ganondorf, now in beast form proceeds to swing his golden blades toward Red, who jumps back and avoids the attack. Ganondorf, or rather Ganon lifts his head up and opens his mouth. Dark energy proceeds to seep out and charge into giant purple orbs. He shoots the orbs out of his mouth towards the Dex Holders.

"MOVE!" Yelled Green.

Everyone proceeds to move from their spots as orbs of purple energy fall down towards them, going up in semi large explosions.

"GRAAAOOOH!" Roared Ganon with ferocity. He lifts both of his arms up and proceeds to charge more dark energy into his blades, and proceeds to slam them both into the ground, creating shockwaves.

"JUMP!" Yelled Red. All the Dex Holders proceed to jump and avoid damage. Red however is caught in one of the beasts hands which then proceeds to slam him into the wall. "AHH!"

"RED!" Yelled everyone else.

Ganon proceeds to puff out some air from his snout and growls with bestial rage. He lifts up his other arm, golden sword in hand.

"Not today!" Yelled Red. He proceeds to slam the tip of his Keyblade on Ganon's hand, and it seems to do nothing at first.

"Oh no!" Said Gold.

Suddenly, the Keyblade proceeds to turn blue in color, Ganon looks in confusion right before the Keyblade releases an explosion of glowing blue orbs. Ganon roars in pain and let's Red go.

"Bet you remember that technique pretty well, didn't you?" Asked Red. "Now to end this, HYAH!"

Red rushes towards Ganon, Keyblade in hand and jumps up. He then proceeds to jab the thing right into Ganon's heart. Ganon bellows in pain and starts to back away while thrashing about. Suddenly, almost like glass, Ganon begins to start cracking.

"What the?" Asked the Dex Holders in unison.

Ganon's body begins to crack some more as pillars of light erupt from his body, and then he proceeds to go up in a large explosion, breaking into multiple pieces.

"Uh...was that supposed to happen?" Asked Gold.

"That's not what happened last time. Well, him breaking apart like that." Said Red.

"Have you already forgotten what I told you? Every single enemy you're gonna face in here is a replica!" Said Dyntos' voice.

"Lord Dyntos?" Asked Crystal.

"Oh yeah, now that he brings it up, he did mention saying that every enemy was a stronger replica of the enemies we've fought before." Said Silver.

"So, you mean this entire time..." Asked Red.

"You were not fighting the real Ganondorf, it was a fake, a puppet that I created." Said Dyntos' voice. "I've got to say, you're a lot more clever than I had originally given you credit for, but don't let it get to your heads. Now then, move on, your next trial awaits you."

The door on the other side of the door proceeds to open, and the Dex Holders proceed to look at each other.

"Another one, how many are there gonna be?" Asked Gold.

"Not sure, but thing is for certain, nothing is going to be accomplished by just standing here." Said Green. "Come on, let's go."

All the other Dex Holders proceed to nod and walk through the doorway.

Comments: Well, it seems that a disaster was averted, Ganondorf himself was never revived to begin with, it was just a stronger replica. Makes you wonder what would have happened if said replica went rogue. Ah well, guess we'll never find out now. So, the heroes proceed to move in further in Dyntos' Workshop, where Dyntos himself is pulling up another trial? How well will the Dex Holders fare in this one? There's only one way to find out.
