Once Sam and Claire had left Amora turned to the two newlyweds. "Well what are you boys waiting for? Go to it." she said giving a shooing motion towards the bedrooms.
Castiel and Dean walked down the corridor holding hands though inside Dean was shaking. Was he really going to do this? Have sex with Cas? What the hell had he been thinking when he agreed to this? Were the thoughts that went through his head as they made their way to his room, his steps slowing on the approach. But he had agreed to this, he had to go through with it for Cas.
With that thought he opened his bedroom door and walked in and turned. Castiel followed and shut the door behind him. In the air was an uncomfortableness that Dean tried to think of a way to dispel. But it was Castiel who spoke.
"Dean, I wish to say something before we…consummate this relationship."
"Okay." Dean replied wondering what the hell Cas wanted to say at a time like this.
"I want to say that I love you Dean Winchester, and not as a friend or a brother but as my husband." Castiel said completely straight faced.
Dean just stared at him. Cas an angel had just told him he loved him. Fucking hell. Though as the realisation of what Cas had said sank in Dean moved so he was standing in Cas' personal space and took his face in his hands. "I love you too Cas." He said as he lowered his head to kiss his husband.
And with that the uncomfortable feeling they had had before evaporated into one of caring and passion as they made love for the first of many times.
Once they had finished they lay in each other's arms not quite believing how lucky they were to find their soulmate. It was at this time they heard Sam and Claire return. Looking at each other they both pulled themselves from the bed to go greet their family.
And when they came into the library it was to find Sam and Claire chatting away together and Amora was nowhere to be seen.
Sam and Claire turned to the two men when they came in. they didn't need to ask any questions they saw the smiles on their faces and the hands clasped together tightly. They both smiled as they realised that Dean and Cas had finally found each other.
And Castiel and Dean knew that they could now take on anything that was sent their way, they would face the world together. Hand in hand, with their brother and daughter at their side.
