Chapter 13

"Dally!" I half yelled with extreme embarrassment, covering myself with my hands. He turned his head, and handed me a lime green towel, being oddly cool with the situation. "T-Thanks.." I mumbled quietly, under my breath, feeling my face get extremely hot.

"No problem." He said, I could tell, with a sly smile. I wrapped the towel around my body, and dried my hair with a small white one that was perched nearby on the sink. I slipped the sweater over my head, and let the towel fall to the floor, buttoning my old, worn, jeans.

I chuckled a little, then said, "You can turn around now Dally." He laughed his signature laugh.

"I already did." He smirked as I rolled my eyes. "Ey', could ya' not tell Steve about this? He's already mad enough at me." He said as his cold eyes turned solemn.

"Wasn't planning on it." I replied, running my old, aged, wooden, brush through the tangles in my hair.

"Thanks, Babe. You ready to split?" He asked, leaning himself on the door, lighting a cancer stick.

"Yeah, man." How's Johnny doin' ? Ponyboy?"

"There good, better than us." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"What'a ya' mean by that?" He inched closer to me, brushing hair back from my eyes, and whispered in a grave tone,

"C'mon Madi. Youknow exactly what I mean. It's hell here, and you know it. They were just lucky enough to escape it." I stared at him blankly, not knowing what to say. He was right. Staring back deeply into my eyes , he gazed at me with a sort of fiery passion I didn't understand. Then slowly, he wrapped his steamy body around me, and kissed me hard against the lips.
