So, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came back for not only the update, but to finally see what is going to happen. Hehe.
Enjoy!
Being held like that with Peter, brought warmth and peace to her. She hasn't felt like this in a very long time and all she wanted to do was stay like this – forever.
"Peter…"she said, breathlessly.
"Shh…don't ruin this…please…let me remember this…" he said, lightly placing his lips on hers, giving her the softest kiss.
It was as if his lips were the softest feathers, just giving her more one taste before it ends.
"I can't…I can't do this…." He said, before letting her go completely and hastily leaving.
She pushed herself up from the small bed, to look at the figure leave before her.
"Peter…?" she said, softly.
She was so confused, so hurt, so alone.
I knew this would happen. Maybe I was meant to be alone. Aslan, I made a huge mistake.
She got out of the bed, and starting walking out, holding on to the wall. Her body was on fire from so much pain, her heart heavy, her soul in pain. She continued to walk until she reached the middle of the cave, and everyone looked at her. Everyone came to her side, and she tried her best to raise her hands.
"No. I'm okay." She said, holding her sides with her left hand, and slightly raising her right.
"I must be by myself. Please, no one follow me. That includes you five." She said, looking at the siblings and Caspian.
She saw Caspian, and Peter walk towards her with haste.
"I said, no." she said, wobbling out of the cave, before she hit the open field and felt the peace of the nature around her.
She felt the air wisp past her, the coldness of the Earth between feet and the glorious shade and sun around her.
"Stone cold, maybe if I don't cry I won't feel anything anymore…" she said, softly to herself.
As she walked slowly, she felt her body hurt less, her soul less heavy, and her heart began to feel more whole again.
She found a spot between shade and sun, under a beautiful tree with flowers around, with butterflies and dragonflies around.
She sat on the grass slowly, not to hurt herself anymore than she already is. Finally on the grass, it felt so nice to be back in the open, to think, see and feel without anyone watching. Well, to her knowledge she was alone, but someone is always watching. Placing her hand on the ground, she thought of something. She closed her eyes, and thought of flowers pink and white, but also sunflowers surrounding her. Opening her eyes, she saw the field has changed – pink and white roses, daisies, tulips and sunflowers surrounded her.
"I knew your powers would come back. But not like this…" the voice said, walking towards her.
"Who's there?!" she yelled, looking around.
"I'm not scared of you! If you're trying to scare me, it's not working!"
"I know it won't work, I remember how skilled you were as a warrior but also a force with nature." Said Susan, coming out behind of the trees.
"Susan? What are you doing here?"
"Well, I sort of followed you to make sure you were okay."
"But why?"
"Well, why wouldn't I? You and I were the best of friends Tiff, and I just miss those times."
"But Susan…" she said, before tears started to fall down Tiffany's face.
"I am not worthy to be here. I am just so overwhelmed with everything. The powers, my old love with Peter, just everything…" she said, before wiping her tears and looking to the ground.
"Susan, this…" she said, looking up at the girl before her.
"This was just a story, a fairytale I was told in my world. And now that I'm here, I don't know what to think. I don't want pity, but I just want to remember. Everyone talks about my life here, my marriage, as if I'm suppose to know, when in reality, nothing is making sense."
Susan walked close to Tiffany, before sitting in front of her, before embracing her in a hug. From what Tiffany has seen, Susan isn't one to show emotion. But the hug was most certainly welcome. Letting go, Susan looked around the forest, as if she was looking for something, before looking at Tiffany once again.
"I can't imagine what you must be feeling, but just know we are here for you. And I'm sorry…about what happened between you and Peter…He told me what happened."
"Great…just fucking great. I can't even…"
"You can't even what?"
"Oh, it's a saying back in my time. It's like saying you can't comprehend, or can't even understand what's happening, or can't even understand why a boy like him would like me or even marry me? Does that make sense?"
"Yes, now it does. But Tiff, Peter does love you, he's just having a hard time adjusting to the fact you don't remember….anythng."
"No, I remember my love for him, but my heart isn't with Peter anymore…"
"You have another lover?"
"No Susan, but how can you love someone who you don't remember?"
"But, your heart never forgets anything. It will always bring you home."
"I know…that's why I'm here…because I wanted to be in Narnia, because my world…I was never happy. I really wasn't. I felt so alone since my mother passed, and just going about my life without any direction. But being here, with all this bullshit going on, at least I know I was meant for this world." She said, placing a hand on the ground.
"I understand, well, somewhat. Just don't stay out here too long. The boys might get worried." Susan said, before getting up and walking a bit.
"By the way," she said, before stopping.
"Peter does love you. He saw something in you to make you his wife. I can see why." She said, before smiling and walking away.
Tiffany sat there, in her field of flowers, looking around, and noticing the sun is slowly setting. She slowly got up, and started to head towards the camp. As she walks back, she noticed everyone outside, looking at the open field. Noticing this, she begins to fasten her pace, and reaches a clearing. An army is approaching their camp.
"What the fuck?" she said loudly, before walking towards Kios, who had galloped towards her.
"Kios, what is happening?" she asked, as he slowly picked her up.
"War milady, war." He said, as he began to trot back towards camp.
As she enters the camp with Kios, he trots towards the meeting that is being taken place. He slowly lowers Tiffany near a wall, and she holds herself up, as the rest of the group discuss a plan of action.
"That's your plan? Sending a little girl to the darkest part of the forest alone?" said Trumpkin, as he points at Lucy.
"It's our only chance." Said Peter, looking at Trumpkin.
"And she won't be alone." Said Susan, as she stepped closer to her sister.
"Haven't enough of us died already?" asked Trumpkin, as he looked at Lucy.
"Nikabrik was my friend too. But he lost hope. Queen Lucy hasn't, and neither have I." said Trufflehunter, as he spoke.
"For Aslan." Said Reepicheep, as he held his sword and crossed his heart.
The other began to say the same. Everyone looked at each other and realized what was about to happen. Tiffany began to slowly breath heavily, and panic began to settle in. What if Lucy dies? What about Susan, or Edmund? Caspian? Or…Peter….Oh Aslan, please protect us. I am having the worst panic attack right now…
"I'm going with you." Said Trumpkin to Lucy.
"No, we need you here." Said Lucy, in her sweet voice.
"No, we have to hold them off until Lucy and Susan get back." Said Peter, to the rest of the group.
"If I may?" asked Caspian, before he stood up.
"Miraz, maybe a tyrant, and a murderer, but as King, he's subject to the traditions and expectations to his people. There is one particular, that may by us some time." He said, speaking to Peter.
My heart is racing, my hands are sweaty and my whole body is just feeling all types of things. I never want a war to happen, nor anyone gets hurt, or dies. But, Miraz not only made me hostage, but killed our friends. And to that, I say, a huge fuck you to him. How dare he think he above everyone, when he is acting like the lowest piece of shit there is. When everything was said and done, I cleared my throat.
"Guys, can I add something? If possible?" she asked, timidly, before sitting on one of the steps. He body was achy and she couldn't stand for much longer.
"I want to go with Susan and Lucy." She said, looking towards the sisters.
"No." said Peter, looking right at her.
"We need you here. We need your help."
"Peter, what help? I had fallen when I got here, broken my leg, and it was better. Then Miraz, who took me hostage, made things worse not only for my leg, but my whole body isn't fully recovered. What good would I do here? I can't fight. I can't do anything here! I'm suppose to let you guys protect me, risking your lives for mine. No!" she yelled, towards him, but to everyone else.
"I'm not asking you Peter, I'm telling you. I'm going whether you fucking like it or not…High King Peter." She said, with a sour tone.
"Tiffany, I don't think you should be talking to Peter-" began Edmund, before he was cut off by Peter.
"Lucy and Susan, start heading out. Everyone prepare for battle. Please leave me and Tiffany alone. I will be out shortly." Peter said, looking at his siblings, and giving them a nod.
Shortly after, everyone left, but Tiffany and Peter. The room was thick with tension, that you can cut it with a knife. Tiffany began to panic and slowly began to get up. Peter didn't look at her or even turn around.
"Please Peter; I must protect your sisters. My powers can help Lucy and make her journey easier, in case something doesn't go to plan. I'm only asking-" she said, before she was cut short by the place of his hot lips on hers.
He began to kiss her roughly, grabbing her hips, and cupping her face. They continued to kiss, until Peter pulled away and put his forehead against hers, breathing heavily.
"I can't lose you again…I lost you once, I'm not losing you again by the hands of anyone." He said, before he looked into her eyes.
"Peter, I don't understand you…" she said, looking back at him, before letting him and walking away slowly.
"First you make me feel loved, then kiss me back there, then leave and now your acting as if nothing happened…it doesn't work like you. You can't say, I can't do this, and now you're doing this…what the fuck Peter?"
"Tiffany, please…it's hard for me to see you again, after many years alone…when you were my wife. And now you're here, and I'm feeling everything at once…"
"But Peter, you must understand, I remember small things, but not everything. I'm sorry, I can't do this with you…"
As she said this, she walked away, knowing she was going with Susan and Lucy. As she walks, her body began to go weak and slowly she slid down a wall, but without a thud. Looking up, she saw Kios, holding her.
"I see your going, with or without permission, correct?" he asked, with a smile.
He slowly helped her up, and placed her on his back. He slowly trotted towards Susan and Lucy. She didn't answer him, for he knew the answer himself. As they reached the Queens, she smiled.
"Girls, I'm here to help you." She said, with smile.
"Tiff." Said Caspian, as he helped Susan with her horse.
"Did Peter let you come here? Or?"
"He didn't have a choice, to be honest."
"Well, you can't go while your injured. I must agree with Peter on this."
"Caspian, I think I'll be okay. Plus, Kios will be with me."
"But that's not the point, Tiff. Can I talk to?"
"Cas, there isn't time to talk. We must-"
"Please…" he said, looking at his friend.
His chocolate eyes were pleading with her, and all she could do was sigh.
"Come on Susan, let's leave these two alone." Lucy said, grabbing her sister and leaving.
Kios grabbed Tiffany and slowly placed her on the ground, near a wall.
"I will be waiting near. Just call for me, milady." He said, before leaving them.
Tiffany stood there, one hand towards her side, trying to ease the pain.
"Cas, I know what you're going to say, but it isn't going to work. Peter tried…and that ended horribly." She said, looking at him.
Silence. Just utter, completely silence. She looked at him waiting, but nothing. Nothing was happening, and soon she became irritated. If he wanted to talk, why wasn't he talking? Was he stalling? Damnit Peter and him probably had a plan to keep me here, so I would leave the how. Fuck. As she stood there, the worse her temper was getting.
"Listen, if you're not going to talk, tell me. I don't want to waste time – "she said, before being cut off. His lips were on hers, sweet and tender. He pulled away and held her face, which was now a light pink.
"Caspian, wh-what was that?" she asked, looking into his eyes.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!? FIRST PETER, NOW HIM. WHOSE NEXT? EDMUND? YES ALL ARE GOOD LOOKING, YES WE ALL KNOW THIS, BUT BEING KISSED BY TWO MEN IS A LOT TO HANDLE FOR SOMEONE WHO NEVER HAD ANYONE BEFORE. OKAY, I GET IT. THIS IS A BIG COMA DREAM AND IM FINALLY LIVING OUT MY FANTASY. Her thoughts were yelling at her, louder than anything she could hear at the moment. A lot was happening, and to her, this honestly has to be a dream.
"I-It was a kiss. Was it not what you wanted?" he asked, looking at her, with a soft smile.
"It is…it was…bu-but I thought you and Susan were getting close?"
"We are. But I don't know Tiff. What do you want from me?" he asked, dropping his arms and moving away from her.
"I just want all of this to make sense. I was brought into this world for a reason. My head and heart are being pulled all over the place. I-It's not fair…" she said, just holding her side.
"How can something so important in my life, like marriage or being in love, just vanished from my memory? Or how is it, I thought I knew who I was finally going to love, and then this…it's just not fair." She said, walking away.
No one spotted her. Not Caspian. Not Peter. No one. She found the strength to keep walking, to drop her hand from her side, and push through the pain. Noticing Kios, she nodded and came towards her. She got on, and began to began to race towards the queens to catch up.
"Hurry Kios; we mustn't leave them for too long." She said, grabbing ahold to his crest to make sure she didn't fall.
As they arrived, they noticed Susan alone.
"Where is Lucy?!" she yelled, as she reached Susan, with her hand out. She grabbed a hold of Susan, and Susan sat behind her.
"She fled. We were ambushed by soldiers. Hopefully she makes it okay, and out of harms way." Susan said, as Kios rode back to the camp site.
Tiffany sighed and nodded. She couldn't believe it, but she could. Miraz, you are an asshole and you have what's coming to you. I call dibs on your head…wait…that was kinda fucked up. But, oh well. He deserves it. As they head back, they see a duel being taken place. Peter verus Miraz.
"Three!" said Miraz, as he goes back towards him men for a small break, and Peter does the same.
Tiffany jumps down from Kios and walks quickly to Peter.
"Peter, are you okay?" she asked, as he took his arm and held his side.
"I'm fine…" he said, not looking at her at all.
Caspian and Susan, stand near me, waiting for Peter.
"Lucy?" he asked, concerned, looking at Caspian and Susan.
"She got through, with a little help." Said Susan, as she gave a small nod towards Caspian.
Tiffany stood there, looking around and seeing how tense the situation was.
Oh Aslan, I pray that Lucy is in your care. Please come soon…
"Thanks." Said Peter, out of breath.
"Well, you were busy." Said Caspian, as he looked around.
"You better get up there. Just in case. I don't expect the Telmarines will keep their word." Said Peter, looking at his Susan and Caspian, before turning around and seeing what they were up against.
Susan went to give her brother a hug.
"Ow…"
"Sorry." Susan said, as she hugged him, before letting go.
"It's alright."
"Be careful."
"Keep smiling." Said Edmund, as he looked towards the camp then back towards Peter.
Susan ran towards the camp to join the others in battle. As Caspian stays behind, to help Peter prepare for the next phase of the duel.
"I think its dislocated." Said Peter, as he spoke to Edmund. Edmund examines the wound, but also the dislocation on his left shoulder.
"What do you think happens back home if we die here?" asked Peter towards Edmund. Edmund stopped what he was doing, and looked at his brother. Confusion, concern and hurt were written all over Edmund face when Peter asked that question.
"You know you've always been there and I never really…"
Edmund popped his shoulder back into place, without a hitch. Peter moaned in pain, but sucked his teeth.
"Just save it for later." Said Edmund, looking at his brother, before helping him put his armor back on.
Tiffany stood, there out of place, watching everything unfold infront of her eyes. She was hurt, confused, upset – basically every emotion that you should be feeling during this time.
But something inside of her was telling her to run into the forest.
"Run…"
The voice said, before she could even think or watch another second of the duel, he feet began to move without her thinking. As she ran, she heard people yelling her name, but she didn't stop. She just kept running, as if her feet knew where she was going. Her body didn't feel sore anymore, there wasn't any more pain or suffering. Her leg that was once broken, felt perfectly normal again.
What is happening? Why is there urgency in the forest? Mother?
The last thing she saw, was an open field and a beautiful woman in white.
"Welcome my child."
