Hey y'all! It's been a while, hasn't it? About half a year. Anyways, it's summer and I'm trying to get re-obsessed with Fanfic. I've been thinking about this for a while and I'm back here writing different chapters. I might get back to DW:AO13 later, but for now I'll focus on Gravity Falls, and SU. Gravity Falls kinda stopped after the last episode since I had no ideas and kinda like: M8 Wot! Anyways, lets get it on!
Four years had passed, Beach City had grown into a tourist attraction of the ages, literally pulling in millions of dollars every month. The street lights glowed on the road, as cars drove past. A shadow ran by an alley way. A statue stood in the center of town, of a familiar person. Zircon. On the beach the ocean made its way up on the beach shore, then back down again.
And there stood the gem temple, the moon-light illuminating it's features. A man stood outside, tall, skinny, with a small afro and a stubble. He wore a pink shirt with a yellow star on its chest, and blue shorts. "Steven!" Someone yelled from inside the house, as the man turned to look at a blue woman who had walked outside. "Lapis, what do you need?" Steven asked, as the blue-dressed woman stared forward. "It's... It's the fourth year..." She said, as Steven sighed. "I know. Four years. Hard to believe that Beach City has grown."
"Yeah." Lapis muttered, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, eyes staring at the ground. Suddenly, a white car with headlights brighter than the broken light above the temple door, pulled up infront of the stairwell. Steven raised an eyebrow, and looked to see who it was, only to smile. "Connie!" He said, jumping down and hugging the woman who had just stood up out of the car. "Oof!" She let out, "At least let me get out of the car first." She joked, hugging Steven back.
She wore a tan shirt and jeans that stopped at the center of her calfs. "How long has it been? Three years? Three and a half since what happened?" She asked him. "Four. How's college?" Steven returned to her. "Oh it's good, it's really hard. Hows Garnet, and the gems?" She asked yet another question. "Have a look for yourself, why don't you?" He said, as he began walking up the stars, Connie following suit.
They opened the door, revealing Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Lapis all on the couch, Pearl slouching over her knees. "Hey guys, guess who's back." Steven said, as Garnet said only one word. "Hey." Connie nervously waved, pulling her lip back. She noticed the changes that had taken place, since four years ago. She noticed a new glass case on the counter, containing inside a Jasper gem which was shattered. "So that's what happened to Jasper." Connie muttered under her breath.
"What happened?" Connie said, Steven turning his head to her. "You were there, right?" He asked, for her to reply "I was at the beginning but, I tried to tell you I was moving, and then you told me to run. I'm clueless about what happened, I only heard stories." She said, and Steven nodded. "Alright."
A white flash, 4 years ago Beach City. Just after Jasper appeared. "No. Not her." Amethyst muttered. Jasper stood there, smirking. "That's it? Ha! That's all that's left of Rose's army?!" Jasper chortled, Zircon only yelling back "And yet Homeworld still fails to beat us?" Zircon mocked Jasper, earning a growl. "Well, I'm all they need now. I'll take you all to hell." Jasper said, as her ram materialized over her head.
"You first." Garnet said, materializing her gauntlets as she ran forward, only to be shocked by a gem destabilizer. "AHH!" She managed to scream before blowing up in a puff of white smoke. "GARNET!" Steven screamed, just as Pearl and Amethyst fused. And there stood the Giant Woman, Opal. Materializing her bow and arrow, and firing at Jasper.
Jasper ducked and ran forward, ramming Opal's chest, and shocking the fusion. Another puff of white smoke. "NO!" Steven managed to yell, luckily, Pearl and Amethyst landed on the ground safely, only K.O.'d. Lapis Lazuli floated in the air above the roof of the Temple, as suddenly in the sky ships began to appear. Lasers would be fired at Beach City, screams of the citizens being blown to bits echoed in the Crystal Gem's ears. "Leave them alone!" Zircon said, as he ran forward, materializing his Axe/Sledgehammer weapon.
He managed to whack Jasper in the back of her head, before she noticed what happened, she was already high in the sky. She struck one of the ships, causing it to tilt into the next causing a large explosion. The ship crashed on the shore, as the 20 or so gem ships suddenly began to fire at Zircon. When the smoke cleared, an unknown gem stood. It had three gems, two on it's side and one on it's back. "I am Blue Diamond, and you messed with the wrong gems today." It said as suddenly it sprout wings from it's back.
"Steven." Blue Diamond said, as the fusion turned it's head. "Go to Beach City, evacuate everyone." And just as suddenly as it appeared, it disappeared causing sand to fly in the air. Steven turned and ran towards the first building he could reach. The donut shop. He opened the door to find Sadie and Lars crying and hugging eachother. "Guys! Come with me, we gotta get everyone out of town!" He ordered them, Lars yelling at him. "You! This is your fault! We're all going to die because of you and your weird gem friends!"
"No. We're protecting you, now shut up before I come over there and drag you out." Steven said, suddenly changing his personality as he walked towards Lars, grabbed his shirt, and smacked him upside the head. "You have 3 minutes to be out of town." He said, as he ran outside and towards the boardwalk.
He looked up, to see Blue diamond running across one of the ships and disappearing in it. Suddenly, a large explosion started a chain reaction as ship after ship blew up. People screamed and ran as cars sped past Steven and onto the road. "Woah." He let out, as his eyes widened. One of the ships suddenly started coming down towards Steven, and when it hit the ground it let out a huge explosion sending debris to the other side of town.
Steven turned the corner and ran towards the center of town, where people were grouped up and running. Suddenly, a laser was fired at Steven. He turned and materialized his shield, blocking the laser and ricocheting it back at the ship, causing a huge explosion. Only one ship remained now, and the ship began to rise into the sky and retreat. Steven decided to lean back, and run forward as he threw his shield towards the ship.
The shield disappeared in the sunlight, and in the distance a large explosion sounded out. Steven began to make his way back to the Temple to see that Blue Diamond had disappeared and Lapis and Zircon were now battling it out with Jasper. The ground shook as several columns of dirt rose and knocked Jasper off-balance, allowing Lapis to get a punch in, knocking Jasper to the dirt below. Suddenly, Lapis jumped on Jasper only to be shocked with the destabilizer.
Lapis flew back, slamming into the ground as Zircon screamed. Suddenly, he was hit in the face and sent back through the ground wall of the temple. Steven materialized his shield and threw it at Jasper, knocking her upside the head and launching her against a large rock. When the dust cleared, Steven ran towards Zircon. "Zircon! Are you okay?" Steven said, Zircon looking at him "Steven, run. Get out of here." Suddenly, an orange hand grabbed Steven by the neck and lifted him up, Jasper's foot slammed into Zircon's throat, trapping him. "Finally! The gem rebellion has fallen! At my hand!"
"I am your death, I am- AGH!" She managed to scream, just as a katana blade pierced her chest. "No you don't!" Topaz said, as Jasper dropped Steven and jumped back, landing ontop of Topaz. She snapped the blade and turned to grab his throat. "ACK!" He managed to let out a groan just as the katana blade was jammed into his stomach, and he began to scream. Jasper growled as she pulled the blade back and jabbed him in the throat with it, decapitating him.
"NO!" Zircon yelled as the ground rose up around Jasper and slammed into her. Zircon stood up, a blue glow emitting from his gems as he dashed forward, Steven managed to look at Zircon just before a large blue flash appeared, blinding him. When the light disappeared, he only saw one gem. The gem of Jasper. He stood up, and looked around. "Zircon? Zircon!" He screamed, walking towards the gem. "You." He said, placing his foot ontop of Jasper's gem, and stomping down, crushing it.
He hit his knees, and began to cry. Pearl and Amethyst seem to have finally woken up, and went over to him to comfort the crying teen.
A white flash appeared. Back at the moon lit beach, Connie's eyes were widened, her mouth agape. "And, you haven't seen him since?" Connie said, as Steven replied. "No. We're all so sure he's dead. But, Homeworld decided to leave this planet alone. So, some good came out of it." He said. Just outside the beach, behind a rock a black figure stood, a hood over their head as their breathing was shallow.
The shadowy figure's eyes of blue could be seen, staring forward through the window. The figure jumped up out of sight, and disappeared in the darkness of night.
Well guys! Hows that for a return chapter? Four years into the future, we see that Steven has grown a bit! Now the questions: What happened to Zircon? Who is that shadowy figure watching them?
