Author's Note: Yes, I'm aware that Christmas is long passed but Lindsey7618 was busy with other things and all so yeah... well, thanks to her for edited it. I'm quite aware that it's short but the next one will probably longer. I'm back on finishing this drabble-fic once and for all (around twenty chapters there might be, we'll see).
Archie, who was sitting on the floor as he was watching the fire, heard his parents do their midnight prayers behind him, probably wishing his oldest sister Alexandra would come back to them. Archie sighed and looked at his sister, with her little one in her arms. His brother-in-law went to sit next to her as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Archie smiled at their joyful faces.
He got up and hugged his older sister. He said, "Love you Kate. Thank you for being my big sister."
Kate handed the baby to her husband and hugged Archie as she whispered in his ear, "Say thank you to our parents for having a nice little brother like you."
Archie went to his parents and hugged them. "Thank you for making me. I am so grateful for being born."
"We're so blessed that we're such a happy family." Caroline smiled as she looked in her son's eyes. The others smiled as they started to grow tired since it was late but they were enjoying this night. Archie went to get his nephew from his brother-in-law's arms and went upstairs to put him in his crib. Archie was smiling as he saw snow coming down quickly and placed the baby in the crib.
This happens on a snowy Christmas night, quiet but still joyful. People can be tired after their day of Christmas, but at the Anderson's they would stay up till' Christmas was really finished, especially if it was snowing.
