chapter 13
Ruby stood outside of the bathroom before sapphire walked out and walked back to their bedroom and they sat on the bed while the results loaded, ruby pulled sapphire close while they waited. Once the results came sapphire let out a small sound and showed it to ruby. "oh god, sapph… your- your pregnant" the small girl nodded in slight shock "I saw it coming but I was hoping I was just sick, ruby w-what if we can't do this" ruby held her close rubbing her back lightly calming her down softly saying "it's going to be ok sapph" she looked up when jasper came in "oh, sorry" he looked at sapphire crying and was about to ask something when ruby shook her head "we'll talk about it later, right now I'm kind of doing something. dad could you leave, please?" he nodded and left the room leaving ruby holding sapphire as she calmed down. Ruby kissed sapphires four head softly and mumbled "we're ready for this sapphire, you are probably the only person that I would ever want to have a child with. A child needs only a few things to grow up happily, they need two parents who love eachother and the child, and they need a loving home. We have both of those and it's not going to change, sapphire I love you more than words can describe and I would like to think that you feel the same about me. We love eachother and I would hope that we both would love this child" sapphire nodded listening to ruby as she continued "we'll both love this child and neither of us will know what we are doing while we have this child, but no one really does" sapphire nodded leaning into ruby sighing "maybe your right ruby, could we do this?" ruby smiled softly putting her hands around sapphires waist kissing her four head lightly before pulling sapphire down with her as she laid down. "I love you sapphire, please never forget that" sapphire nodded "I try not to" They got comfortable under the blankets, ruby looked at sapphire as she held her and said "we need to tell everyone about this" sapphire nodded pressing her head into rubys chest, "ruby in the best way possible shut up I need sleep knowing that I'm going to be waking up to throw up way too early tomorrow" ruby chuckled and tuned off the light holding sapphire as they went to sleep.
In the morning ruby woke up hearing sapphire throwing up, ruby yawned and turned over checking her phone and saw it was ringing, she walked out into the hall and answered it "hey ave"
