Amelia belongs to Jeabird, Kyle belongs to Kamen Rifer Heisei, and I thank them, and Black Cat Angel for helping me with this story.

Finally the guys made it to Forest Terminal, only no one was there. Down the road at a castle, they meet Sorcermon, Kyle – another human – and Seraphimon; who told everybody how the Legendary Warriors came to be, but then Daemon and the other Demons attacked. Barbamon beat Seraphimon, and all that was left of him was a DigiEgg! Takuya and the others escaped on a Trailmon, but Sorcermon stayed behind to fight. Sorcermon was reverted to a DigiEgg and somehow the egg found its way to Amelia as the group fled. So here they are, left alone again with nothing but DigiEggs to keep them company! And they won't even know what to do with them until they can find Ophanimon. Too bad no one knows where she is.

The tunnel the group was heading down had water as high as the rail that the Trailmon was on, and they were going at an incredible speed. A turn came up and it was rather sharp that sent most of them off balanced; no one fell off thankfully though. Another turn came and this was sharper and longer, even the Trailmon tilted with the turn.

"I think this is a little too fast!" Meredith barely got the words out since she was holding on for dear life, trying not to fall off of the Trailmon. It was like riding a bullet train; emphasis on bullet.

Koji leaned forwards slightly so he could look at the Trailmon's face, "Hey bud, could you possibly go any faster?!"

"No problem, just hang on to your bandana!" As the Trailmon was talking he picked up speed.

"Koji!" Everyone yelled – not liking the new speed at all.

"What?! I was being sarcastic!" Koji yelled so he could be heard, sounding rather defensive as well.

Takuya turned his head towards the back, "Zoe, is everyone ok back there?!"

Zoe was holding tight to Seraphimon's egg as J.P. whimpered slightly, "We've all been better!"

"One way is fun, the other way, we're done." The Trailmon's words had Koji and Meredith looking ahead of them. If his riddle wasn't bad, then the path coming their way is worse.

There was a split the rail. One going right and one going left.

"Oh man, there's two of them!" At Koji's words Takuya looked forwards once more.

"What?!" Takuya looked at Koji and the Trailmon.

"How do you tell which is the right way?" Koji asked the Trailmon as he looked back to it.

"Don't know. The direction of the trails is up to the rails." As he said that the rail suddenly switched itself to the other path, "We're on the right trail, now! Yeah!"

There didn't seem to be as much bumps or turns as there had been.

Takuya was looking forward, "Well, at least it's a little bit smoother in here!"

The group that was in the back started to relax a little once they noticed that it wasn't as rough as before.

'How can they be so calm? This world's only hope got turned into an egg.' Kyle stared at the DigiEgg that belonged to Seraphimon as he thought. Inside, he was panicking. He's here to help save this world from total domination and he doesn't have a spirit! What use is he? He sighed. If the others realized how scared he is he'll never be viewed as a Legendary Warrior.

"You guys still haven't introduced yourselves." Kyle broke the silence. Might as well start a conversation.

"I'm Zoe." Zoe looked at Kyle, introducing herself first.

"I'm Tommy." Tommy looked from Seraphimon's egg to Kyle but then he glanced to Amelia who was holding Sorcermon's egg.

"I'm J.P." J.P. gave a shaky smile to Kyle as J.P. somewhat supported himself with a wall.

"Oh, oh I'm Neemon!" Neemon called out, hand in the air.

Bokomon snapped Neemon with his pants, "I'm Bokomon."

DemiVeemon stared at the new person with curious eyes. He seems sad. Why? Does he blame himself? It wasn't his fault. He needs to smile. The little blue dragon gave Kyle his biggest smile he can make and offered to him a tiny paw. "I'm DemiVeemon." Kyle smile and shook the offered paw.

Kyle looked from them, having looked at everyone as they introduced themselves, to Amelia. Waiting for her introduction however Amelia seemed to be somewhere else.

"Hey, are you ok?" The question snapped Amelia out of wherever she had been.

"Huh?" Amelia stared at them now, confused at what was going on.

"Who might you be?" Kyle asked the question, giving a friendly smile to Amelia.

"I'm Amelia, sorry for spacing out." The words seemed to slip out of Amelia's mouth but as she spoke Bokomon approached Zoe.

Bokomon was now standing in front of Zoe, "Hmm, may I have a word? I want you to give me Seraphimon's egg. I'll take care of it, now."

"Huh?" Zoe uncurled from around Seraphimon's egg to look at Bokomon better.

Bokomon reached over and took the egg from Zoe, "I'm sorry, but I happen to know more about its special needs."

Zoe stared at Bokomon, "Special needs? Like what?" The real question is what special needs is he talking about.

Bokomon started to push the egg into the space between his stomach and his stretchy belt, "It must be protected and nurtured, uh, by someone with life experience." In other words, he wants to be the Mommy. The scaring part is figuring who's the Daddy. Let's hope it's not Neemon.

Neemon tilted his head, "Have you been a mommy, before?"

"You sure look like one." Tommy reached out to touch Seraphimon's egg.

Bokomon slapped Tommy's hand away, "Hands off, bub! We must wash our hands before touching the egg. Honestly, what were you thinking? You might get germs on him."

"Overprotective much?" Kyle's sarcastic words got a laugh out of Amelia.

Suddenly Bokomon seemed to change, eyes all sparkly and a slight blush on his cheeks, "Don't worry, baby. Mama will keep you safe from them." Bokomon rubbed the egg softly. Can you say awkward?

"Is it just me, or does someone else find that to be the slightest bit creepy?" Amelia stared at Bokomon like he grew a third head as she asked the question, she held Sorcermon's egg just a little tighter since she didn't know what Bokomon would have to say about her having Sorcermon's egg.

"Hold on, guys! It's getting rough again!" Takuya shouted as he held onto the Trailmon tighter.

Bokomon held onto Seraphimon's egg tighter, "Mama's gotcha, Mama's gotcha, Mama's gotcha. Huh? Oh!"

Bokomon seemed to snap out of it, "This is definitely not good for the baby!" Really? Not good for the baby? How about "not good for anyone, especially those with weak stomachs"?

The Trailmon was flying through the air towards another part of the track. So the Trailmon technically didn't run out of track, it just hit a part where the tracks broke. It felt like going on a rollercoaster that's out of control.

"I always say, one good track deserves another." Once the Trailmon managed to connect with the other half of the tracks it started to laugh.

Bokomon's face fell and sighed, looking sick to the stomach almost. The Trailmon rolled to a stop after the slight hill since there was no more tracks to go down – having reached a cave.

"End of the line and all is fine. Happy trails!" As the Trailmon backed away everyone waved goodbye while and calling out goodbye as well.

Everyone fell silent and stared after it until Tommy spoke, "That's pretty scary. He's gonna go backwards all the way home."

"How else would he go back home?" DemiVeemon tilted his head as he asked the question cutely.

"Hey Amelia, can you tell me how to spirit evolve?" Kyle looked to Amelia as he asked, they were also walking down the cave that they had arrived in. Amelia blinked. He's asking how to Spirit Evolve? That's a good question indeed.

"How to Spirit Evolve? Well, it seems kinda second nature almost and none of us really knew how to – it just happened the first time for us by just some odd instinct, well me at least." Amelia pulled out her D-Tector as she spoke.

"Normally we say 'Execute, Spirit Evolution' and Fractal Code appears around our hands and then we scan it – next thing I know we're Spirit Evolving. I can't really explain it that well. Sorry." Amelia gave a small, almost shy, smile to Kyle. Wasn't the answer he was looking for, but it's an answer nonetheless. Maybe it's the same experience like Amelia said.

Takuya started to run, "Hey, everybody, there's an opening up ahead!" True to his word, a light was up ahead. Everyone seemed to be a much more happier mood.

Koji was running as well, "Yeah, let's just hope it gets us outside."

The opening that the whole group was running towards now was giving off a blue light. The light pooled in and colored the hall by the opening.

"Yeah." Takuya stopped running once they passed through the opening.

"Huh?!" The group all exclaimed it at once. The happiness deflated after going through the exit.

They stared at what was before them while Takuya and J.P.'s jaw had dropped. Neemon and Bokomon stared with wide eyes. Zoe, Meredith and Tommy's shoulders had dropped and their mouths opened slightly. Amelia sighed and hung her head. Koji and Kyle just stared blankly ahead of them.

"Aw, this doesn't look like outside to me! Does this look like outside to you?!" J.P.'s words echoed within the cavern that lay before them.

"Well, duh, it's an underground cavern!" Zoe responded as she looked around.

"Where's the exit?" Takuya's question made everyone stiffened just a little.

"Must be one somewhere." Koji responded, him and Takuya taking off down together.

'These things must have a map of some kind,' Kyle started pressing buttons.

"Looking for a map? Doesn't exactly help much though, does it?" Amelia held her D- Tector out, the globe just popping up out her D-Tector when she hit a button. At least hers responded, Kyle felt his eyebrow when his D-Tector doesn't respond to him.

"Let's hope that Daemon creep doesn't find us." Kyle spoke as Bokomon, Neemon, DemiVeemon, Meredith and Tommy took off after Takuya and Koji.

"Let him find us. I'm not afraid of that stupid bat." J.P. stood proud and confidently as he declared the words. Hearing the virus digimon's name ticked him off. If he sees Daemon, J.P. wouldn't hesitate to Spirit Evolve into Beetlemon and tear his wings off his back!

Zoe looked at J.P., "Wow, are you trying to impress me with a show of courage, JP?"

J.P. turned to look at the blonde, "I'm not trying to show anything. Gimmie a break, will ya? Daemon stole your Spirit, and I wanna get it back. It's as simple as that!" His eyes were full of determination.

"I'm, uh..." Zoe was taken aback by J.P.'s words.

"Maybe we should just turn back and fight him and get this over with." J.P. didn't back down or show any sign of fear.

"Do you really mean that?" Zoe asked about the only thing that would come to her mind.

"Yeah, you better believe it." J.P. said it with a straight face.

The girl sighed and placed a hand on her cheek, "Well, it's your funeral."

Suddenly J.P.'s face dropped and his shoulders slumped, "Can I change my mind?" Here he was proclaiming his dedication of honor and he already having second thoughts. Who could blame him?

:Demons:

"Which way – why are they even prolonging the inevitable? It's only a matter of time before we get the Spirit back – no matter where they hide." Daemon looked between the split in the railing. He wanted to take on those kids again. The thought of them defeating him was humiliating. He wanted payback.

Beelzemon started to walk, "Hey, where are you going Beelzemon!"

"Talking doesn't solve anything." Beelzemon talked as he walked.

"Whatever." Daemon grumbled by did follow after Beelzemon. Sometimes he questioned his instincts.

:Demons Lair:

Lilithmon giggled, "What are you staring at Barbamon? Wanna share anything with me, like what you plan on doing with Seraphimon's data?" She was rather curious of her comrade's action on what to do next.

Barbamon only laughed.

"Are you gonna hand that over to Lord Cherubimon?" Lilithmon got slightly closer to Barbamon as she spoke.

"Don't you trust me?" Barbamon looked at Lilithmon.

"Just wondering, take it easy or do I need to help you relax?" Lilithmon's words were greeted by laughter from Barbamon.

"Let me in on your secret, Barbamon." Lilithmon sounded like she was nearly begging him.

"Poor Daemon." Barbamon's words confused Lilithmon.

She tilted her head to the side, "Huh?"

"His search is in vain for the Warriors." Barbamon smirked slightly.

"Even if he did find them what would he do? They already defeated him once practically, some Demon he is." Lilithmon laughed at her own words.

"You should be careful Lilithmon, you didn't even find a Spirit – you don't even have a Legendary Spirit in your possession. Daemon even stole a Spirit from those kids. So you have no room to act like you're better than him." Barbamon's words made Lilithmon gulp.

Her laughter had died, "I'm so hurt."

"It's the truth." Barbamon's words were firm.

"When I want the 'truth', I'll ask for it." Lilithmon snapped at Barbamon.

"What fools these mon can be." Duskmon remarked as he listened to the two speak despite standing off away from them. He felt like he's the only one that has common sense and tactical mind.

:The Gang:

Koji had approached a wall and knocked on it. Placing his hands on the wall he looked around. It's cold and damp. Not to mention it's hard to break through, except becoming a human drill.

"Doesn't seem to be any give at all. These walls are made out of solid rock." Koji looked, trying to find something.

Takuya ran his hands over the wall, "Yeah, this stupid cave is a dead end. Beans!"

Meredith stared at Takuya, 'Beans?' What is this, a Saturday morning cartoon? DemiVeemon tilted his head. Why would Daddy yell food? Is he hungry?

Takuya curled his hand into a fist and raised it. Yet he and Koji weren't the only ones trying to find a way out. The others were looking as well.

Tommy watched Zoe feeling a wall up as well, "Guess we gotta go back."

"That's what I was saying!" J.P. placed his hand on his hips.

Zoe turned around to face Tommy and J.P., "I wonder if we passed an exit somewhere back in the tunnels. It's worth a try." She was trying to be as hopeful as possible, but, being in this cave with one entrance and no exit, it's hard.

"There weren't any branching paths when we ran through the path, though," Meredith looked to Zoe as she spoke.

"Maybe there's a Digimon around here that can help us," Kyle suggested. It was better than being blindsided.

Suddenly there was a gush of water that was shot directly at Tommy and J.P. and it was strong.

"Tommy!" Zoe cried out.

"Tommy!" Koji called out, moving towards him and J.P. actually.

"Tommy!" Takuya called out.

"Tommy!" Meredith called out worriedly.

"Tommy!" Kyle called out as well.

Tommy and J.P. were both up against a wall and soaked. They didn't look too well. Tommy was like a wet chihuahua shivering from a bath. J.P. was like plain drenched from a rainstorm.

"Why does everyone only call out Tommy's name?" Amelia observed, "Tommy, J.P. you two ok?" Amelia called out the last part louder.

"I don't feel so good, JP." Tommy moaned out the words.

J.P. moved quickly so he could look at Tommy, "Oh, geez, are you alright, little man? Hey, how come nobody yelled out my name?" Obviously, he must still have water in his ears because he didn't hear Amelia's call.

"Hey, I did." If Amelia would've said more, it was cut off by J.P. sudden scream, due the sudden geyser that shot up towards the ceiling.

Zoe stared at the geyser, "Mama Mia!"

"Definitely-" Takuya started.

"-not good!" Koji finished.

A Digimon came from the water and it was roaring. It looked like a huge brown and blue whale. Neemon's jaw dropped as he stared while Bokomon turned slightly holding onto the egg that was in his possession and Zoe took a step back.

"What's Whamon doing down here? He lives in the ocean." Bokomon's words were calm despite what was going on.

Zoe looked at Bokomon, "Who is Whamon?"

"He's a whale Digimon, and he seems to be quite out of his element." As Bokomon spoke Whamon went back under the water.

Whamon surfaced, "I can't stand it anymore! Do you hear me?! I can't stand it!" He was in a frenzy in a small pond. If he keeps on with his frantic tantrum, he'll have no water to stay into.

"He's originally a gentle Digimon. Something really must be upsetting him." Bokomon was acting calm while Neemon and Zoe who were beside him was starting to freak out a bit.

"I wanna go home! I wanna go home! I wanna go home!" Whamon sounded like he was crying almost, begging at least.

Koji and Takuya was looking at what was going on.

"We gotta stop him!" Koji declared the words.

Takuya looked a bit hesitant, "Uh, alright. I'm ready to go when you are!"

"Yeah, me too!" Meredith hesitated, but she spoke up as well.

"Execute: Spirit Evolution!" Takuya, Meredith and Koji called out together.

"Agunimon!"

"Sakanamon!"

"Lobomon!"

The three Warriors all landed on Whamon, who was currently freaking out. Question is, how do you calm down a whale? Is there a whale whisperer in the house?

"Alright, big guy, just calm down." Lobomon kept his voice even and firm.

"Yeah, what is the matter with you?" Agunimon tried to sound friendly.

"You need to calm down, because this isn't helping anyone." Sakanamon spoke.

"Gee, I don't know, maybe he wants to find a way out of here so he can go home." Everyone was staring at Kyle. "And yes, I was being sarcastic."

Whamon threw his head back, "Leave me alone!"

"Come on, calm down, please?" Sakanamon hung on.

"If you calm down, maybe we can help you!" Whamon seemed to start calming down at Sakanamon's words.

:Demons:

"Great, which way now?" Daemon spoke, looking between the two branching paths. The two paths looked the same. He was terrible with directions.

"I say we choose the easy path." Beelzemon didn't actually sound that interested. Yeah, like that made any sense.

"Which would be?" Daemon asked, irritated. Man, he wants to punch him in the face.

"Does it look like I know?" Beelzemon shifted on his feet.

"Don't talk if you don't know, you make the situation worse." Daemon snapped.

Suddenly though there was a train whistle.

"Huh?" Daemon looked down the right path.

Coming down the rail, backwards, was the Trailmon. The Trailmon was singing about backing up and moving it out.

"Looks like they're in the cave, the dead in cave – their lucks run out now." Daemon started to laugh quietly as the two hide from the Trailmon.

Daemon smirked, "There's no escape this time."

:The Gang:

The whole group now stood in front of Whamon, who had calmed down.

"You seem to be feeling a little bit better now, Whamon. Can you tell us why you were so upset?" Zoe was observing Whamon as she spoke.

"Oh, I hate this place. I just wanna go back to my home in the ocean. U-until very recently, I was swimming, happy and free under the sea, not a care in the world. Then one day, I saw these delicious looking glowing plants. I couldn't help myself; I decided to take a little nimble. Oh, they were good. Next thing I knew, I was stuck in this place, with no way out!" Whamon started to cry. His tears were like giant raindrops. They splashed everywhere. The kids were having a hard time covering themselves.

Agunimon stared at Whamon, "Here we go again."

"You don't have to be such a big crybaby." Lobomon's words were cold. He was busy wringing out his wet scarf.

Kyle turned to Amelia, "Hey Amelia, do you think there was something in those plants, because glowing plants seems a bit strange, don't you think?"

Amelia looked Kyle, "Strange, yes, but at least I have seen stranger things so I don't know. I mean, I saw TVs that were inside of trees – in the middle of a forest."

Neemon turned to Bokomon, "He's sure losing a lot of water. Is that normal?"

"No idea." Bokomon stated blankly.

Tommy and J.P., who were pretty dirty thanks to having earlier been blasted by Whamon into a wall, just stared at the whale Digimon. J.P. looked annoyed while Tommy looked kinda understanding.

"This is embarrassing. Does he really think all that blubbering's gonna help him?" As soon as J.P. finished he grabbed his stomach area, looking like he was pain. He felt like someone punched him there. He didn't like the feeling. He loved his stomach.

Tommy turned to J.P. worried, "Hey, are you ok, JP?"

"I'll be fine once I get this pain to go away." J.P. barely managed not to whimper it out. It must be after the water splashed him. He must've drank some it and now he's having the worst stomachache ever.

Whamon continued to cry, "And, and, and, and, and it's all my fault that you guys got hurt! I'm so sorry!"

J.P. opened an eye so he could look at Whamon despite still being in pain, "You're forgiven, alright?!"

Sakanamon went towards Whamon and entered into the water. She walked to the side of the big guy and started to rub his skin up and down in an attempt to try and soothe him. Whamon actually did start to calm, just a little at least.

Zoe smiled and took a step forward, "Well, at least you have some company now. We're stuck here, too. Maybe with your help, we could figure out a way to escape."

"Huh? Ok!" Whamon seemed to be completely fine but he managed to splash the gang a bit.

Yet Whamon lost the water around him rather quickly, as if someone had pulled the stopper out from his pond like place that he had remained inside of. With no water left he was lying on his side.

"Whamon!" The gang called out worriedly.

"Now that is not normal." Bokomon spoke rather matter-of-factly.

A hole was revealed and something started to rise out of the hole, "Daemon!" The group called it out, surprised.

Daemon laughed, "Found you, I'll be taking the Spirits this time – for good."

"I am so sick of hearing that from you!" Sakanamon spoke.

"You're an annoying bat, you know that?" Lobomon glared at Daemon.

Agunimon looked down at Daemon who was still in the pit, "Yeah, what they said! Oh, and by the way, you're not stealing anything from anyone ever again! We're not afraid of you anymore, Daemon!"

Daemon laughed a bit harder, "You may have beaten me once before but I wasn't serious – when I'm serious you cannot beat me. Your Spirits are all mine – I found you first so Barbamon and the others are too late."

Shadows started to form and Daemon smirked, "I'll let you have some fun with my familiars."

The shadow morphed until they took on Daemon sized bats that were as dark as shadows. The only features that stood out were their glowing red eyes and the orange colored symbols that they bore on their torsos. The bats nearly filled the whole room.

Daemon chuckled, "Get them!"

Agunimon jumped up, "Let's turn these shadows to nothing! Pyro Tornado!" His attack crashed into a swarm of the bats and actually dispelled them surprisingly easy.

"Lobo Kendo!" Lobomon rushed through a group of them and the shadows vanished from one attack from his blade.

"Tempest Whirlpool!" Sakanamon blasted some bats away and as the vanished they were given a nice spin.

"Excuse me, we could use some assistance over here!" Bokomon called out.

"Be right there!" Agunimon turned and headed towards them.

"Just a sec!" Sakanamon dodged a bat that had tried to attack her as she called the words over her shoulder.

"We're on the way!" Lobomon went to go towards them.

"Prevention is always the best medicine, right?" Beelzemon's voice broke through just as Agunimon and Lobomon were brought to halt by being grabbed around the neck – Beelzemon had appeared out of nowhere and the grip he had was iron tight.

"Hey, let go!" J.P. shouted the words and tried to run forwards but he was stopped due to pain.

Zoe ran to J.P.'s side and grabbed his shoulder, "No, you can't fight in this condition!"

Bokomon spoke, "She's right, the best thing we can do now is hide!"

Neemon made the observation since Bokomon was missing, "Hey, good hiding! You're invisible!"

"Over here, brainiac!" Bokomon's words made Neemon turn his head towards some rocks.

Neemon stared at Bokomon with wide eyes, "Wow, you're pretty fast, too!"

"You meathead! The only reason I'm hiding is I have to protect Seraphimon's egg!" Bokomon shouted at Neemon.

Neemon gave Bokomon a look of disbelief, "Mmm-hmm."

J.P. gritted his teeth and tried to stand straight up, "I refuse to just hide and give up!"

Tommy stared at J.P. worriedly, "JP, you're too badly hurt right now. Agunimon, Sakanamon and Lobomon will think of something. We have to trust them."

Zoe looked at her D Tector, "Come on Zoe, think. Oh, if only I could Spirit Evolve." JP gazed at Zoe. He wanted to help her, but with the pain still lingering in his stomach he couldn't do anything.

Beelzemon slammed Lobomon and Agunimon's head together before jumping back, "How about you two dance," Beelzemon shot towards the two and every strike made them flinch.

"Keep them busy Beelzemon!" Daemon called back as he surveyed the battlefield.

"You guys are great dancers." Beelzemon chuckled as he spoke.

Beelzemon stopped and the moment he did both Agunimon and Lobomon sunk to their knees. A ring of Fractal Code surrounded both of them. He grinned victoriously. Just one more hit and those spirits will be his!

"Looks like their time is up – there Spirits will be mine soon." Daemon smirked as he stared at Agunimon and Lobomon.

"Hey," Sakanamon shouted and that grabbed Beelzemon's attention, "What about me?! I bet you can't even touch me!"

"Don't bite off more than you can chew girlie!" Beelzemon pulled out his gun and started to shoot at the blue haired warrior.

Sakanamon though, despite seeming a bit tense, managed to dodge the first few bullets by seeming to go side to side – like she was dancing. As more came to managed to spin half way, bullets whizzing past her and at this point it really did look like she was dancing.

The Warrior of Water danced and swayed in her own rhythm. She twirled in a pirouette. She looked like a majestic dancer.

'Is she even taking this seriously?!' Zoe stared at Sakanamon as she thought that.

"Is she even taking it seriously?" Kyle asked it but he found it entertaining and kind of funny to watch.

'She is, somehow.' Agunimon didn't speak the words since he couldn't get them out of his mouth.

"Tch." Beelzemon charges at her, but he still had a plan.

Beelzemon was throwing punches and kicks at her but Sakanamon continued her dance, dodging everything that came her way. As he drew back, she fake rushed him and on reflex, the Demon of Gluttony jumped back away from Sakanamon. The fact that she had faked Beelzemon out made him super angry at her; he charged her once more but this time all care was out of the window. Sakanamon jumped high into the air and turned mid-air so she was facing Beelzemon when she landed beside him. She shoved the leather-clanded demon hard, and that made him stumble a bit since his charge had been reckless.

"JP, what are you doing?" Tommy was quick to question as J.P. started to walk towards Daemon.

"Tommy?" J.P. said.

"Yeah?" Tommy responded nervously

J.P.'s face was firm, "I'm going in, you watch out for Zoe!"

Zoe looked taken aback, "He's lost it!"

Tommy stared at J.P., "Yeah, he can't stop them!"

Daemon laughed, "Oh you want to fight me? Are you sure you're strong enough?"

Bokomon peeked out from his hiding place, "He's just egging you on! Get out of there!"

"I'm not gonna let him win! I won't stand here and let Daemon hurt my friends!" J.P. sounded determined as he spoke.

"I'm with ya!" Tommy took a couple steps forwards.

J.P. looked to Tommy, "Are you sure?" He was surprised of the little boy's approach.

"Uh-huh!" Tommy responded, seemingly unafraid. He won't stand by and let J.P. fight alone. He's willing to help out. No more standing around and waiting for their end.

Both looked forwards, unflinchingly, "Execute! Spirit Evolution!"

"Kumamon!"

"Beetlemon!"

Daemon smirked, "Futile." There's no point in their temptation. They'll fail no matter how many of them are willing to fight.

"You ready to vanquish these guys?" Beetlemon exclaimed.

"Yep, let's roll!" Kumamon responded rather quickly.

"Thunder Fist!" Beetlemon slammed his electrified fist onto the ground, which resulted in shocking a whole horde and making them vanish.

"Crystal Freeze!" Kumamon froze three of them and they shattered away as if they were nothing.

"I'm tired of playing with you," Beetlemon jumped into the air and crossed his arms as electricity sparked from both of his fists, "I'm gonna make you pay for what you've done!"

"You're joking." Daemon spoke, looking at Beetlemon unafraid. It was adorable seeing kids getting fussy.

"Thunder Fist!" Beetlemon descended at Daemon.

One of the familiars appeared, "Dark Blech!"

What seemed to transparent black flames came from the mouth of the bat creature. The flames slammed into Beetlemon and he crashed onto the ground. There was a swirl of Fractal Code around the Warrior of Thunder as he reverted back to J.P. The full-figured boy shook both in exhaustion and anger.

"You're not even worth my time," Daemon glanced to Beelzemon, "Take care of them while I get this pitiful Spirit."

"Roger," Beelzemon smirked, "This is gonna be fun."

'That's it, time to take matters into my own hands!' Kyle thought as he held up his D-Tector and a symbol appeared.

He walks up to Daemon, worrying the others. "Hey, Daemon! Why don't you pick on someone who can fight!"

A ring of Fractal Code appears around his hand. "Execute! Spirit Evolution!"

Pieces of the warrior's body appeared around Kyle before merging with him, he then turned around, sand covering his before disappearing, to reveal his eyes now an emerald green.

He then jumped onto a platform, slamming his hammer before standing strongly. "Gorumon!"

Everyone was amazed looking at this new warrior, his armor resembled rocks, the symbol of Earth was on the chest, had rock-like spikes on his shoulders and short black hair.

"Another Warrior appearing out of the wood works eh?" Daemon chuckled.

"Actually, he's not Wood, he's Earth." Amelia made the comment as she carefully handed Zoe Sorcermon's DigiEgg. She was tired of sitting around letting these boys take charge (she was not going to say that with Sakanamon still around).

'I'm not going to sit back when I can fight to help protect my friends.' Amelia pulled out her D-Tector as she thought.

"Execute: Spirit Evolution!" With those words Amelia's Spirit Evolution began.

"Legnamon." Legnamon stepped up beside Gorumon.

Daemon eyed the two Warriors before him, "You never learn your lesson do you?"

"Wood Thorn!" Legnamon didn't waste time using the attack.

Daemon may have managed to dodge the attack that went at him but one of his wings was clipped. The demon glared at Legnamon and straightened up, spreading his wings to show that her attack done as much as she thought it did. Also to show that he wasn't worried about what she was aiming at.

"Also, I do learn – I just learn better ways to deal with you." Legnamon got ready for another attack but Daemon shifted.

"You're next, but first," Daemon set his eyes on J.P., "I have something else I want."

Daemon didn't even pay mind to the two Warriors as he spread his wings and shot towards J.P., "Double Dust!"

Daemon's attack headed straight for J.P. who stared at him with wide eyes. Gorumon and Legnamon moved both intending to do something, but both were beat to the punch.

"Blasting Spout!" The water that came shooting at Daemon came from Whamon and the blast of water was strong enough to drive the demon into the wall.

"No way!" Kumamon was stunned.

Something sparkly was in the air in front of Whamon. That something had J.P.'s attention because he knew exactly what it was.

J.P. was stunned, "Whamon... I can't believe it. A Beast Spirit."

He stared at the Spirit as it lowered towards the ground, 'Could that be mine?'

The boy was pretty much staring awestruck at the Spirit lost in thoughts of the possibility of it being his Beast Spirit. J.P. wasn't the only one who was staring though.

'I knew 'glowing' plants sounded a bit odd,' Gorumon thought to himself before turning his attention back to Daemon.

"That Spirit is mine!" Daemon nearly yelled the words as he collected himself after being blasted into the wall.

Whamon observed the Spirit, "Oh, so that's what it was. It did taste a little metallic for a plant."

J.P. felt like the cave was empty besides him and the Spirit; it was as if he was a million miles away but yet in the same place – perhaps an alternate dimension. As the Spirit got level with J.P.'s head the eye sockets sparked to life with a yellowish glow, as if it was electricity was sparking within. It was as if J.P. could see the Spirit that was represented by the small statue which housed it, he felt like it was drawing him in or he was drawing it in.

"You're not allowed to have my Spirit!" Daemon shouted the words and dove for the Spirit that wanted to claim as his.

"Try this on for size, Golem Hammer!" Gorumon used his hammer to create small shockwaves in the ground.

"JP! Quick! Grab it before Daemon does!" the Warrior of Earth exclaimed while trying to keep Daemon from taking the Spirit.

"Not today! It's my turn to play!" J.P. whipped out his D-Tector and held it out towards the Spirit. Does anyone realized he sort of rhymed?

A glow was released by J.P.'s D-Tector as it called the Spirit to him. With the Spirit safely within his D-Tector and out of Daemon's reach for now J.P, turned his attention to it which was displaying the Symbol of Thunder.

"Execute: Beast Spirit Evolution!" J.P. scanned the ball of Fractal Code that had appeared around his hand.

As the armor of the Beast Spirit was forming and take shape to J.P. there were flashes of lightning around him. As the evolution carried farther there was more electricity that built up surrounding him and once fused with the armor, he descended to the platform as if he was just going to drop onto it, but once close to it, steam came from something on his legs and it slowed his descent and he brought his arms towards his chest which brought the electricity closer to him. Flinging his arms to the side and throwing his head back the electricity was flung away from him.

"MetalKabuterimon!"

Bokomon stared at MetalKabuterimon, "Oh my, it's the Legendary Beast Warrior of Thunder!"

Zoe looked mildly surprised, "Molto Bene. JP turned into him?"

Electricity sparked off of MetalKabuterimon and he groaned, "Bolo Thunder!"

He raised the top arms of his on both sides. Outstretched facing Daemon two balls of electricity formed, one in front of each 'hand', while there was faint sparks from both of the balls and one from each that was sparking towards the other ball, trying to connect the two. However the control seemed to vanish and the attack went towards the roof and repeated as MetalKabuterimon spun. Blasts of electricity went everywhere! It was like an out of control laser show.

Rocks from the ceiling began to fall by Whamon, "Yikes!"

Bokomon ran, panicked, "Run for your lives!"

Bokomon, Neemon, Zoe, and Kumamon were running trying to dodge the rocks that were falling from the ceiling. MetalKabuterimon spun once more and sent 'Bolo Thunder' rocketing into another part of the ceiling and caused a mass of rocks to fall but this time over by Agunimon, Lobomon, Sakanamon and Beelzemon. Everything was coming apart!

"He's completely out of control! Head for cover!" Lobomon exclaimed among the falling debris before turning around.

"Right behind ya!" Agunimon retreated alongside of Lobomon.

"Not again!" Sakanamon was between frustrated and worried.

'It's BurningGreymon all over again!' The thought crossed Sakanamon's mind as she to retreated from the falling debris. Her heartbeats thumped rapidly against her chest. Incidents of BurningGreymon burning everything in his path flashed through her eyes. If J.P. doesn't snap out of it soon, he'll lose himself!

"You mean this has happened before?!" Gorumon asked while running for cover. He turned around, "Subterra Defence!" He punched the ground and a wall made from earth rose, protecting them. If this is how you act when getting your Beast Spirit, he was afraid he'll be a savage animal.

Beelzemon looked up, "Well then, a little ice must fall, right?"

Beelzemon was trapped by the debris that fell from the ceiling.

With MetalKabuterimon aimed at him, Daemon began to actually back away, "You don't want to do that now, friend."

MetalKabuterimon's eyes were consumed by a green glow, "You're no friend of mine, Daemon! You don't even understand the meaning of 'friendship'!" Electricity sparked in the air around MetalKabuterimon.

Daemon eyed MetalKabuterimon, "Not good."

MetalKabuterimon placed his arms on the ground and leveled the barrel that was his horn that was upon his head. A screen popped up out of his back that seemed to lock onto Daemon and a bar filled all the way up and something began to glow in the cannon.

"Electron Cannon!" A beam of light, electricity in all likelihood, came from the cannon and slammed into Daemon sending him into the wall.

Uncharacteristically, Daemon screamed. His face contorted in pain. The hood that he constantly wore seemed to be blow off which revealed the face. Mouth wide opened and gargles of pain bubbled out. All three of Daemon's eyes were wide, the third eye having been revealed when his hood was blown off.

Fractal code appeared around Daemon.

Fractal Code surrounded MetalKabuterimon, "MetalKabuterimon, Slide," MetalKabuterimon morphed into Beetlemon, "Evolution! Beetlemon! It's back to the egg for you, pal! Fractal Code, Digitize!" For some strange reason, J.P. was able to control himself. Sakanamon felt relieved. He was able to have his humanity in a niche of time. He felt happy; he finally got Zoe's Spirit back.

The code that Beetlemon scanned had two Spirits sitting within and the egg that was Daemon within now. One of the two Spirits belonged to Zoe while the other was unknown to them. The code scanned and Daemon's egg went away through a hole in the ceiling while the unknown Spirit went towards Gorumon and sunk into the D-Tector that Gorumon had unconsciously pulled out.

'Is this my Beast Spirit?' Gorumon thought to himself before the wall went back into the ground. "JP, that was awesome! Man, I can't wait till until I Beast Spirit Evolve!" If a tough guy like JP could do it, then there's hope for him yet!

"Beast Spirits are too dangerous." Sakanamon spoke the words, but it didn't seem like anyone heard her.

Meanwhile the Spirit of Wind was heading towards Zoe, who had pulled out her D-Tector. Once the Spirit was back to its rightful owner, the blonde stared at the screen of her D-Tector, the Symbol of Wind glowing softly on the screen.

Zoe smiled at her D-Tector, "Hey, welcome back!" she got it; she finally had Kazemon back! And it's all thanks to JP!

There was the sound of shifting dirt so Zoe looked up. J.P. had dropped to the ground, sitting there and breathing heavily. Beast Spirits are powerhousing creatures, but very exhausting.

Zoe rushed to J.P., "JP! JP, are you alright?"

J.P. turned his head so he could look at Zoe, "Got your Spirit back. At least I did something to make you happy."

Zoe smiled softly at J.P., "That's so sweet. Thank you, JP. I really mean it."

"Zoe and JP sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g" Kyle began to tease the two, gaining glares from them. He just had to ruin the moment.

Tommy raised his arms up, "Happy day!"

"Ruuuuunnnnnnn!" Takuya yelled as he was running full out with Koji beside him while Meredith and Amelia was behind them, the ceiling looked like it had turned to fractal code.

"Didn't ya hear me?!" As Takuya yelled water gushed from the Fractal Code ceiling and started to fill the place up.

"I don't think running's going to help much since there isn't an exit to run to!" As the words escaped Amelia more water gushed in there was nowhere left to run because the room filled with water.

Everything was blanketed by darkness though. Did our heroes drown to death?

"Did we die?" Tommy asked the question hesitantly.

"Uh, I don't think so." Zoe replied sounded confused.

Some light started to peek through the darkness as an opening started to appear.

"Smells like something did. Pee-ew!" J.P. commented.

The opening opened all the way up and revealed the sky that had clouds lazily drifting through.

"Whoa!" It was a group exclamation.

"It's the ocean!" Tommy was stunned.

The group walked towards the opening and when they looked out trying to figure out where they were they ended up looking up.

"It's Whamon!" The group laughed after they spoke the words in surprised unison. Did anyone come to realized they were stepping on a giant tongue? Or the fact the whale digimon managed to not eat them?

Bokomon smiled as he looked upwards, "I don't know how you saved us, but thank you."

Zoe was smiling, "Yeah, and welcome home, Whamon."

"Oh, I'm the one who should be thanking you. Without your help, I might have been stuck in that cave forever. Hold on everybody, we should be reaching the island very soon." Whamon's words had everyone looking out and ahead of them.

"Um, island?" Takuya sounded unsure.

'Why do I get the feeling we forgot something?' Kyle thought as they headed towards the island.

Elsewhere a certain demon was trapped under some debris, angry and far from a state of Fractal Code emerging.

Back with the group though they were approaching an island that had a rainbow by it and they stared at the island they were approaching. Amelia though left them to stare and went to Sorcermon's egg that had temporarily been by itself.

'What's awaits us?' Amelia picked up the egg as the thought crossed her mind.

Now that Daemon's out of the way, you'd think it'd be smooth sailing. But I bet there's another storm brewing on the next Digimon: Digital Monsters!
