Chapter 12

"Mommy, daddy, I'm eight now!" Rylie said happily.
"You are Princess." Ryland said, smiling.
"Is everyone coming to see me?" Rylie asked.
"Mhm." Addie said. "They're coming just to see you on your special day."
"Yay!" Rylie giggled.
"Who wouldn't want to see an amazing Princess on her birthday?" Ryland said, picking her up and spinning her around.
Rylie giggled. "Faster, daddy, faster!" Ryland chuckled and spun her a little faster. Rylie giggled. "Fun! Faster, daddy!"
"Maybe not so fast, Ryry, she might get a bit dizzy later." Addie said. Cecilia walked over to them and then just stood there.
Ryland put Rylie down. "Mommy's right don't want our little princess dizzy.
Rylie pouted, but then just walked over to Cecilia. "What's wrong, little sis?"
"Nothing." Cecilia said. She turned to Ryland. "Daddy, please up?"
Ryland picked her up. "What's wrong beautiful?"
"Nothing." Cecilia said.
Addie felt her forehead. "She's not feeling warm, so she can't be sick. Something must be wrong."
"Baby girl what is it? You know you can tell daddy anything."
"Daddy and mommy forgot me and Rylie have the same birthday, just a year different." Cecilia cried.
"OH MY GOD! Baby girl!" Ryland said, hugging her. "We are so sorry. How could we forget our second little miracle?"
"Because you pay attention to Rylie all the time." Cecilia cried. "You only love her."
"Sweetie, that's not true." Addie immediately said, shocked that she would think that.
"Baby girl no. Daddy and mommy love you very much. In fact you know what. Daddy's going to take you. Right now. And we'll have a daddy/daughter birthday morning. And then we can go join the others at the beach for both my Princess' birthdays. How does that sound?"
Cecilia sniffled. "Promise to never forget my birthday again?"
"Promise baby girl." Ryland said. "Cross my heart."
"Okay, daddy." Cecilia said. "But mommy and Rylie coming too?"
"Do you want them too?" Ryland asked.
Cecilia nodded. "I love mommy and Rylie too, daddy."
"I know sweetie. How about we ask them, because mommy still has to get the stuff for the party. So she might not be able to come."
"Okay." Cecilia said.
Ryland kissed her cheek. "Hey babe" he called.

"Yeah?" Addie asked.
"Cecelia and I are going out, and wanted to know if you and Rylie could join us." Ryland said.
"Oh, Rylie can but I can't. I gotta get everything set up." Addie said. "Sorry."
"Alright." Ryland said, nodding. "Rylie!"
"Yeah daddy?" Rylie asked.

"Come on. We're gonna go out. Just you, me, and Cece."

"Where are we going, daddy?" Rylie asked.
"The mall." Ryland said.
"Okay daddy, mall's fun!" Rylie giggled.
"I know." Ryland said smiling.
"Alright you guys, shoo." Addie said, laughing. Ryland kissed her cheek, and skipped with the girls toward the car. Addie watched them, amusedly.
"Daddy, can I go the salon to get my nails done like last week?" Rylie asked once they were in the car.
"Sure. Cece will get hers done too. And then we can go get our hair done pretty, and make-up. How's that sound?" Ryland asked.
"Yes!" Rylie squealed. "That sounds good, little sister?" She asked Cecilia.
Cecilia nodded. "Yes Ryls."
"Alright, let's go." Ryland said, getting in the car. They drove to the mall.
"Alright. Nails first." Ryland said, heading to the salon.
"Yay!" Rylie giggled, following with Cecilia. Ryland paid for the girls then sat with Cecilia while she got hers done.
"Why did mommy and daddy forget my birthday, twice?" Cecilia asked, quietly.
"Because mommy and daddy just weren't thinking sweetie." Ryland said, feeling awful.
"You spend most of the time with Rylie." Cecilia said, with tears in her eyes. "Even she knows that. And she remembers my birthday."
"Baby, we don't try to. We are so sorry. I promise we'll spend more time with you." Ryland said.
"Okay, daddy." Cecilia said.
Ryland kissed her cheek. "We love you very much."
I love you all very much too, daddy." Cecilia said, just as Rylie got her nails done. Ryland kissed her forehead.
"Where should we go now, daddy?" Rylie asked.
"Um, hair." Ryland said, with a nod.
"Yay!" Rylie said. Ryland chuckled. "Daddy, can I have bright red hair?" Rylie asked.
"Um...sure sweetie." Ryland said. "Cece you want a new hair color?"
Cecilia shook her head. "No, daddy."
"Alright then we'll just get your hair made pretty." Ryland said.
"Okay daddy." Cecilia said. Ryland took them into the salon.

Rylie ran up to Ryland. "Daddy, why does little sister seem so sad?" She whispered.
"Mommy and Daddy forgot it was her birthday too." Ryland said, sadly.
"Oh. Daddy, did Cece tell you about school?" Rylie asked.
"No, what happened at school?"
"Everybody at school loves me!" Rylie giggled. "But they're mean to Cece."
Ryland frowned. "Do they hurt her? Or say mean things to her?"
"They said you and mommy don't love her. That's not true, right daddy?" Rylie asked. "And sometimes they push her. I don't know what else, daddy. My friends distract me when I try to help her."
Ryland frowned. "I think you girls are both done at real school."
"Why, daddy?" Rylie asked. "What about my friends?"
"They aren't really your friends if they stop you from helping your sister." Ryland said.
"Oh.. Okay, daddy." Rylie said.

Ryland sighed. "I'll talk to your mom when we get home. And I'll talk to Cece later."
"Okay daddy. We can just go home now, I don't need red hair unless Cece wants to do her hair too." Rylie said.
"Baby girl what's wrong?" Ryland asked, frowning.
"Nothing, daddy. It's both me and Cece's birthday today and I wanna make sure she knows she's loved. So she can make her own choices." Rylie said.
Ryland smiled. "Your such a good big sister. So, you wouldn't mind if daddy took Cece somewhere special during your party?"
"Of course I won't mind, daddy." Rylie said. "I love my little sister!" She ran up to Cecilia and hugged her, catching her by surprise.
Ryland laughed. "Alright Cece let's get your hair done then we can go home. Okay?"
"Okay, daddy." Cecilia said. Ryland watched them fix her hair in a side braid with flowers. They were done, and Cecilia walked up to Ryland and Rylie. "Home now?" She asked.
"Yep. And then you and daddy are leaving again."
"Leaving where, daddy?" Cecilia asked.
"We're gonna go out for a special birthday surprise."Ryland said smiling.
"Oh. So Rylie's coming too right daddy?" Cecilia asked.
"Nope. Just you and daddy. I'm staying with mommy." Rylie said.
"Mhm. Just daddy and Cece. And Rylie's going to help you find and put on your prettiest dress when we get home."
"The prettiest dress ever!" Rylie giggled.
"Okay." Cecilia said. Ryland smiled, and walked with them to the car. They got in, and drove back home. Ryland smiled as they walked in the house.
"Oh my gosh the hair! And nails!" Addie gasped when she saw them. "They look so gorgeous!"
"They get that from their mother." Ryland said, kissing her cheek. "Ryls help Cece with the dress laid out on her bed.
"Okay daddy. Come on Cece." Rylie said, and she and Cecilia left.
"I'm taking Cece out for the afternoon. Rylie said it was okay. And we're pulling both girls out of school." Ryland said.
"Okay, sure, and why?" Addie asked. Ryland explained what Rylie had told him about what was happening at school.
"That's awful! Then yes, we are pulling them out of school, even though they've only been there a day." Addie said.
Ryland nodded. "We can have Becca homeschool them. I know she loves teaching."
"Yeah that'll be a great." Addie said. Ryland smiled. He turned to look as the girls came back downstairs.
"Cece's all ready, daddy! She looks pretty now right?" Rylie giggled.
"All my girls always look pretty, but you look amazing Cece. Just let daddy run change okay?"
"Okay daddy." Cecilia said.

Ryland came back down a few minutes later in a tux. "Are you ready to go milady?" He asked holding his arms out to Cecilia.
Cecilia giggled. "Yes daddy."
Rylie squealed and clapped. "Yay she giggled!"
Ryland picked her up and spun her around. "Alright, my little Princess and I are going now. Say by to mommy and Rylie Cece."
"Bye mommy, bye Ryls." Cecilia said.
"Bye!" Addie and Rylie said.
Ryland carried her to the car and buckled her in. "Are you excited baby girl?"
"Yes daddy. Where are we going?" Cecilia asked.
"We are going to Disneyland to have lunch in the castle." Ryland said, smiling.
"Really?" Cecilia asked, perking up.
"Really." Ryland said, smiling.
"Why didn't Rylie come with us then, daddy?" Cecilia asked. "She usually has the most fun, so shouldn't she come too?"
"Rylie has her own party to go to." Ryland said, "And you know what Cece, you can have just as much fun as Rylie does. You just have to let yourself."
"But I don't deserve it, daddy. I'm not as pretty, smart, or popular as Rylie is." Cecilia said.
Ryland parked the car in the parking lot, and opened her door. "Cece I want you to look at me." He waited till she was. "You are every bit as pretty, and smart, and amazing as your sister is. Rylie told me about what happened at school. You aren't going back there and neither is she. And she will not be hanging out with those other girls again."
"But they're her friends. Won't she be upset?" Cecilia asked. "And she's happy there. She's always laughing and smiling. Everyone loves her."
"No, she's not upset. I already talked to her about it." Ryland said, as they walked toward the castle.
"She's completely okay with it, daddy?" Cecilia asked.
"As far as I know baby." Ryland said, "Let's have a nice lunch okay. To celebrate the day the most beautiful girl in the world was born. You."
"Okay daddy." Cecilia said.

"Alright." Ryland said, smiling. Cecilia smiled as well. Ryland got them a table, and they sat down.
"Daddy, where are we going after this?" Cecilia asked.
"Mmm that's for me to know and you to find out." Ryland said, smiling.
"Meanie." Cecilia pouted.
Ryland laughed, "It's your birthday your supposed to be surprised.
"Okay daddy." Cecilia giggled, and then she felt something wet connect with her head and face. She realized she had just been splashed with soda, and she could hear some girls and boys laughing behind her, while she started crying.
"Oh, baby girl." Ryland cooed, scooping her up, and taking her to the bathroom. "Let's get you cleaned up."
Cecilia wiped her eyes, but kept crying. "They're so mean!"
"That was very mean. I'm so sorry baby." Ryland said, cleaning to pop off of her.
cilia cried as the pop stung her eyes. "Daddy, they're Rylie's friends."
"I figured." Ryland said. He wiped the pop out of her eyes. "Now, let's go. We're gonna go far, far away from here and do something fun."
"Nothing's fun, daddy. They'll be there too. I just wanna go home. This is the worst birthday ever!" Cecilia cried.
"Oh, Cece." Ryland said, hugging her. "I have one last thing before we go home, and they won't be there mkay? Promise."
"Okay." Cecilia sniffled. Ryland kissed her forehead, and carried her out to the car. Cecilia clung onto him. "I don't wanna go in the back seat, daddy."
"Why not baby girl?" Ryland asked, frowning.
"Just don't want to." Cecilia said.
Ryland sighed. "Just this once you can sit up front."
"Okay." Cecilia said. Ryland sat her in the passenger seat. Cecilia put on her seat belt and leaned back in her seat.
"You have to be really good up here though Princess okay?" Ryland said.
"Okay daddy." Cecilia said.
Ryland drove to the air field. "Alright, baby girl. Let's get out."
"Yes daddy." Cecilia said. She took off her seat belt and got out of the car.
Ryland got out, and they walked over to a small plane. Ryland talked to the pilot for a minute, before coming back to Cecilia. "You ready to go Cece?"
"Where we going, daddy?" Cecilia asked.
"We're going on a trip." Ryland said, smiling.
"A trip where, daddy?" Cecilia asked.
"To a place far away. Where Cece and daddy can have a lovely picnic."
"Okay daddy." Cecilia said. Ryland kissed her forehead, and they climbed on the plane "Daddy, we're not gonna crash right?" Cecilia asked.
"No sweetheart we won't crash." Ryland said. They landed ten minutes later in a big open field.
"So clear." Cecilia said.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" Ryland asked, as he laid out a picnic blanket.
"It is. I love it, daddy. It's my new favorite place." Cecilia said.
Ryland smiled widely. "I have all your favorite foods Princess."
"Daddy knows my favorite food?" Cecilia asked.
"Of course I do." Ryland said, setting out all the food. "I know you Cece your my baby girl."
"But Rylie is better than me." Cecilia said.
"No, no she isn't." Ryland said, shaking his head. "Baby girl we love both you and Ryls equally. Neither of you is better than the other. Your both my beautiful, perfect, amazing baby girls who I love more than anything. Except for their mother.
"Really, daddy?" Cecilia asked. "So you and mommy are not putting me up for adoption?"
Ryland nearly choked on his food. "Baby girl why on earth would you think that?"
"Everyone says that you and mommy are planning to put me up for adoption." Cecilia said."Baby, we would never put you up for adoption. We love you too much. We'd miss you. Your our baby girl and nothing will ever change that.
"Okay, daddy." Cecilia said.
"Come here baby girl." Ryland said, opening his arms. Cecilia moved into his arms. Ryland hugged her tightly. "How about we go home and watch a movie? And then I can give you your birthday present."
Okay daddy. But haven't you already give me my present?" Cecilia asked.
"What present did I give you?" Ryland asked confused.
"This day, daddy. Disneyland. And this picnic." Cecilia said.
"Baby, that wasn't a present. That was just me spending time with you, because I love you."
"Oh." Cecilia said.
Ryland smiled. "I love you Cece. Now let's go home."
"Okay, daddy." Cecilia said.
They got back on the plane and flew home. Ryland drove them home. "You go sit on the couch baby girl. I'll bring out your present."
Okay." Cecilia sat on the couch.
Ryland came back out "So I know how much you love American Girl dolls. So mommy ran to the American Girl store downtown and picked this up. "Happy Birthday baby girl." He said, handing her a big box.
Cecilia gasped, taking the box. "Thank you so much daddy!" She hugged him.
"You're welcome baby girl." he said, smiling.
Cecilia opened the box, happily. "I love it!"
"Good." Ryland said, smiling. "I made sure mommy got the one that looked just like you. And then you can use the stuff on this paper on their site on the computer and play games and stuff."
"Really? This is the best present ever!" Cecilia said. "Are we going to the beach soon, daddy?"
"Yep. What are you going to name her?" Ryland asked.
Um... Lia!" Cecilia said.
"That's a beautiful name." Ryland said. "Will Lia be joining us at the beach?"
"Yes she will." Cecilia said, hugging the doll close.
"Alright. Go change into your swimsuit." Ryland said.
"Okay." Cecilia said, and ran up to her room to change. Ryland changed and then waited for her to come back down.
She came back down. "Daddy, where's mommy and Rylie?"
"Already at the beach baby." Ryland said.
"Okay daddy, let's go now?" Cecilia asked.
"Yep." Ryland said, heading to the car.
Cecilia followed him, and they got in. "Daddy, what if Rylie invited her friends? It's her birthday too."
"We'll deal with that if it happens." Ryland said.
"Okay daddy." Cecilia said. They drove to the beach. Cecilia looked around when they arrived at the beach. "So many people, daddy."

"Yeah. And most of it's family." Ryland said.
"Yay!" Cecilia giggled. Ryland smiled. Cecilia got out of the car, and ran to everyone.
"Cece's here!" Anthony said, smiling.
"Hi." Cecilia said, smiling shyly. Rosalynn ran to her and hugged her. Cecilia hugged her back. "Hi Rosa."
'Did you have fun?' Rosalynn signed.
Cecilia nodded. 'Lots.' She signed back.
'What did you get for your birthday?' Cecilia held up her Lia doll to show her.
'She's beautiful!' Rosalynn signed.

'Her name's Lia!' Cecilia signed.
'I love it!' Rosalynn signed.
Cecilia giggled. 'Thank you.'
'You should come play with me, Micheal, and Emelia.' Rosalynn said.
'Okay.' Cecilia said. Rosalynn dragged her off. Ryland went over to Addie and kissed her cheek.
Addie looked at him and smiled. "Hey."
"Hey." Ryland said.
"Did you and our little girl have fun?" Addie asked.
"Yeah." Ryland said. "We flew out to the field for lunch, because someone poured pop her at Disney."
"That's awful, I can't believe someone would do that." Addie said.
"I know. She was a mess. She thought we were going to give her up for adoption."
"She thought that?! But we would never do that!" Addie said, shocked. "I can't believe she's been told that! She's only seven!"
"I know." Ryland said.
Addie sighed. "Rylie invited some of her friends. She said she invited them about yesterday, and she couldn't just cancel the invite."
"Hopefully Cece will just stay with her cousins. If something happens we can just ask her friends to leave."
"Okay." Addie said.
Ryland wrapped his arms around her. "She loves the doll."
"Great. I'm glad." Addie said.
Ryland kissed her neck softly. "I love you."
"I love you too." Addie smiled.
"Mmm, think we can have Becca watch the girls tonight." Ryland asked, placing another kiss on her neck.
"Hmm sure." Addie said.
"Great." Ryland said, as he kissed up to her ear.

Addie held back a small moan. "Maybe we should go somewhere more private."
"Mmm, I was thinking the same thing." Ryland said.
Addie smiled. "Let's go." Ryland nodded, and they headed for the car.

They got in and closed the door. "Now where were we?" Addie asked.
"Mmm right about here." Ryland said, attaching his lips to the skin just behind her ear and sucking.
Addie moaned. "I think I like this." Ryland kissed down her neck softly. Addie moaned, and snaked her hands around Ryland's neck. Ryland sucked a hickey on her collarbone. Addie moaned loudly. Ryland moved his hands under her shirt. Addie moaned lightly, and ran her hand through his hair. Ryland moaned. Addie pulled herself closer to him. Ryland squeezed her breasts. Addie moaned loudly. Ryland pulled off her shirt, and slipped off her bra. He started sucking on her nipple. Addie moaned loudly, and her hips bucked. Ryland quickly removed her pants and underwear and started eating her out. Addie moaned loudly, and her hips bucked again. Ryland chuckled, and stuck his tongue in her. Addie moaned loudly. Ryland rubbed on Addie's sensitive spot. Addie moaned. "Close.

Ryland started rubbing the spot faster. Addie moaned. "Really close."Ryland licked at the spot and started rubbing her nipples. Addie moaned, and climaxed. Ryland pulled away and pulled off his own pants and underwear. He waited a few seconds and the thrust into Addie. Addie moaned loudly. Ryland started thrusting. Addie moaned. "More.." Ryland thrust faster. Addie moaned louder. "Oh.."
Ryland kept thrusting. "Close baby..."
"Me too." Addie moaned. Ryland thrust a little faster and harder. Addie moaned loudly, and climaxed. Ryland climaxed as she did. Addie moaned.
Ryland pulled out of her, and cuddled her. "You came twice."
"Yeah." Addie smiled.
"I'm impressed." Ryland said, smiling.
"Thanks." Addie blushed.
Ryland kissed her cheek. "Let's go."
"Okay." Addie said, and started putting her clothes back on. Ryland got dressed, and kissed her. Addie smiled and kissed him back.

Ryland kissed her a bit longer then pulled away. "We should get back to the party."
"Yeah." Addie said. Ryland got out of the car. Addie got out after him.

Ryland heard Cece crying. "Oh no." he said, and took off running. Addie heard it too and ran to that direction as well.
"What happened?" Ryland asked, instantly picking up Cece.
"They.. Mean.. My.. Lia.." Cecilia tried to explain, while sobbing and pointing to a group of girls and boys who were about to throw her doll to the water.
Ryland handed her to Addie and stormed over to the children. "I'd like the doll back now..." he said, but trailed of when he saw Rylie in the middle of the group, holding the doll. "Rylie Lynch get your butt over here now!"
Rylie looked up and she went over to Ryland. "Daddy, I can explain."
Ryland frowned. "You have one minute."
"I was just trying to get the doll back from them, daddy, I swear!" Rylie said.
Ryland frowned. "You promise?
"I promise." Rylie said.
Ryland nodded. "Give the doll back to your sister. And tell your friends good bye."
"Yes daddy." Rylie said. She went and gave the doll back to Cecilia and then went over to her friends who were standing near the water. She seemed to get inside the group, but then never came out.
"Daddy!" Cecilia shrieked, seeing Rylie get dunked inside the water. Ryland ran and picked her up. Rylie coughed out the water as soon as she was out of the surface. The other kids just laughed.
Ryland glared at them, as he picked her up. "You all can find your parents and leave." They scattered away immediately.
Rylie was still coughing. "Sorry, daddy."
"Sorry for what baby girl?"
"Inviting them." Rylie coughed. "I didn't know at first."
Ryland rubbed her back. "Not your fault beautiful.
"Can we just continue the party?" Rylie asked, still coughing.
"Sure, sweetie, but you need a minute here to just breathe." Ryland said.

"Okay daddy." Rylie said, her coughing starting to get less.
Ryland kissed her forehead. "I'm so glad your okay."
"I thought they won't do that, daddy." Rylie said.
"Like I said, sweet pea people like that aren't actually your friends."
"I know daddy, I'm sorry." Rylie said.
"It's okay sweetie, but now you know for next time, right?"
"Yes daddy." Rylie said.
"Alright, let's get back to the party."
"Okay." Rylie said. They walked back to the others.
Cecilia ran and hugged Rylie. "Thank you for bringing Lia back, Ryls."
"You're welcome." Rylie smiled. Ryland smiled and hugged them both. They giggled and hugged him back.
"I love you girls." Ryland said.
"Love you too daddy." They said in unison.
Ryland chuckled."Now go play girls."
"Okay daddy." They ran to their cousins. Ryland watched them go smiling.
"They're really close sisters." Addie said, smiling.
"They are." Ryland agreed. 'They're almost as close as Ross and Riker..."
"Soulmates!" Addie squealed.
"Probably." Ryland said, smiling.
Addie giggled. "Let's go talk with everyone else."
Ryland nodded. He walked over to Ell who was watching Becca with Emmett. "Do you ever regret it?" he asked.
Ell looked at him. "What? Giving Emmett away?"
"Yeah." Ryland said.
"Sometimes." Ell admitted. "I just can't keep him. He reminds me too much of my dad, who's still out there and can come back anytime."
"Becca does so well with the special needs kids." Ryland said, "I mean Rosalynn's deafness, Aspen's autism, Emmett's blindness. I don't know how she does it."
"I don't know either." Ell said. "She's just...her."
"I know, but her is very impressive. You've got two amazing sisters Ell."
"Yeah." Ell said. "I never thought they were my sisters. I mean the shock is still there even after five years."
"Well, you aren't an only child anymore. Which is something you always wanted."
"That's true. And I know Becca and Addie never wanted to be only children either." Ell said.
"Yeah, so see. It all worked out. Sure, it was horrible, but you know our lives are pretty amazing. Our perfect messed up family."
