Today was D-day. The world famous DJ festival Tomorrow Land was happening today. It was the first day that Gohan had had off in the last month and a half since Videl's birthday party. He finally got a chance to relax and have some Gohan time instead of just work, school and then some more work.
The tournament was taking place in Satan City and gates opened at 10am. The plan for the four friends was to get to the gates at 8am so that they could get the best possible position to watch the acts.
Because of this, Gohan who was keen to keep the status quo which was that he had to take a two and a half hour drive to get to Satan City stayed the night at the Satan mansion. Conveniently, Hercule was out of the house this weekend so it was the four friends along with the maids and chef.
Chi-Chi was concerned what was going to happen at this party or festival as her son put it but she trusted him to make the right decisions and not do anything embarrassing.
The four friends had to get up at 6am to properly get ready for the festival. There wasn't even time for them to laze around and get ready at a leisurely pace. Due to the big day ahead for the group, they had all gone to bed early the night.
Gohan woke up in the bed that he had used a month and a half ago and didn't dare hitting the alarm clock. The saiyan teenager got out of bed, headed into the shower and prepared himself for the morning.
After putting on a tight fitting top and a pair of jeans, Gohan headed down to the dining room of the Satan mansion. He had absolutely no regrets whatsoever when it came to gorging his stomach on every single morsel of food that was on offer. He even requested more despite the fact that he chef already knew his "dietary requirements".
In spite of the amount of time that the three friends knew Gohan, they had still not managed to get over the shock of watching him eat. Ever since he had started training again, Gohan started eating a hell of a lot more food so he could turn that sustenance into muscle than usual.
Still, he was no pure blooded saiyan so the title of biggest food consumer went to Vegeta.
Gohan started eating early in the morning due to the simple fact that he had to eat a whole lot more food than the others. He really didn't want to have to pay an arm and a leg for festival food prices so he was stocking up so that he didn't have to eat later on in the day.
It was then that Erasa and Videl came down the stairs to the dining room. As Gohan was waiting for the next group of bowls and plates to come to him, he spotted something out of the corner of his eye. "Who's the new girl?" Gohan asked as he saw the new look that Videl was sporting.
Videl was wearing a loose black top much like the long white t-shirt that she normally wore. This one differed in the fact that it had no sleeves and stopped at Videl's waist. The tiniest bit of her stomach was on show.
To go with this top, Videl was wearing a pair of black short shorts which, in comparison to a whole lot of other short shorts that girls wore, these really should just be called shorts.
The big change was that Videl didn't do anything apart from have a straight bang. The rest of her hair hung down by her shoulder blades and she looked like a completely different person.
Erasa giggled as Videl lightly slapped the shoulder of Gohan. "I'll have you know that I do put an effort to look good when I want to. The clothes that I normally wear are just better for fighting crime in and I am not trying to impress anyone with my looks." Videl said with a frown on her face.
"So you're trying to impress SevenTeen?" Gohan questioned. He couldn't hold back his laughter at the thought of Videl trying to win over the man that he knew.
A blush appeared on the face of Videl but she nonetheless denied the accusation of Gohan. "No! There's just going to be tons of camera's out there today at the festival and people are going to be taking photos of me whether I like it or not."
Gohan didn't believe it for a second. He merely chuckled. "Alright, so you don't want me to be your wingman then?" Gohan asked, just to make sure. Videl sent him a glare of the highest degree.
It was then that some food came out and Gohan was lost to the smell.

"Hey Videl" Gohan, in tone that was slightly softer tone than normal, said to his friend. The black haired girl turned to Gohan. "Just be careful today. Alright?"
Touched for his concern, Videl nodded. "Don't worry, if anyone tries to cop a feel off of me, I'll break their face!"
"What! No that's not what I meant! Do guys actually do this at festivals!?" Gohan asked alarmed. It was then that the three friends were reminded that Gohan didn't come from Satan City or for that matter, any major town or city.
Gohan looked over to the two other people in the group. Once he saw their nod, Gohan sighed to himself at the fate of humanity. The black haired boy then turned to Erasa. "If someone does anything that you feel uncomfortable with just let me know okay?" Gohan earnestly said he looked Erasa in the eyes.
Grateful for the offer, Erasa nodded with a big smile on her face.
When he got this response, Gohan smiled and then turned his attention back to Videl. "No, I meant that don't get your hopes up when it comes to meeting your idols, The standards that you set for your heroes will get destroyed once you get to know them."
"It sounds like you know SevenTeen then Gohan. Do you?" The black haired girl questioned, determined to find out more about Gohan.
"It's just that I know what it is like to have a high opinion of someone and then have that tarnished in a single moment that you will never be able to forget." Gohan purposefully said as he wanted to evade the question. The look of surprise on the faces of his friends was definitely worth it as far as he was concerned.
Plus, he was like Videl in a sense. Gohan wanted to make sure that his friends liked him for him and not for the people that he knew. Sure, knowing a famous DJ wasn't in the same league as knowing Videl Satan, daughter to the "saviour of the world" but it was the same principle in play.
Videl seemed to accept this answer but it didn't follow up from asking another. "So who was the person that you was your hero that turned out to be a douche?" Videl questioned thinking it was some random celebrity. She got the celebrity part down pat but not the random unfortunately.
Gohan looked to the side for a moment. "My dad." He slowly said and Videl looked as if she had just accidentally kicked a puppy. Everyone in the group went deathly silent at this point in time. They had absolutely no idea what to say to follow up on that.
"Oh…" Videl lamely said as she tried to find the right words. There were none though and Erasa simply settled for grabbing a hold one of his hands and squeezing softly.
He looked to the hand and forced a smile in response. Maybe this will get Videl to realise that she can't just demand answers from anyone and not expect to get into some awkward conversations.
There was a silence that settled over the group as they each checked their phones whilst they waited for the gates to open.
x-X-x
The second that the gates opened, Tomorrow Land officially begun. Thousands upon thousands of screaming people ran into the showgrounds aiming to get the best possible spots for the main stage.
It was here that the physical fitness of the group came into play. The only problem was that Erasa didn't do any form of exercise so she couldn't run fast at all. This issue was quickly solved by Gohan picking up the blonde haired girl and running Just as fast.
This was something that Videl noticed but decided not to comment on. Her jealousy was on show though as she realised that Gohan was able to run the same speed as her whilst carrying her best friend. Videl knew that she wouldn't be able to run anywhere near as fast if she had to carry Erasa.
Erasa squealed and had to quickly put her hands up to her chest as she was being carried. Her essentially painted on hot pink tube top was bouncing up and down and the girls almost came out. That was not something that she wanted to wear.
It also didn't help calm her nerves that Gohan had accidentally placed one of his hands on her bum. It was the first time since she and Gohan had done the nasty that someone had touched her in that area.
Once they got to the main stage, Gohan put Erasa down and they all high fived each other. They had gotten to the very front row of the main stage. They were in the best ever position to see every act come on.
Out of the 75,000 people going to the festival, the four friends had managed to get a spot that only about 150 people would get to experience. "This is going to be fucking insanely awesome!" Videl shouted with a giddy expression on her face. She was normally not one to swear but considering that she was attending her first ever festival with her favourite DJ being the final act, the inner Videl that was generally repressed by the persona she put out for the public came out to show.
"Yeah it fucking is!" Sharpner agreed as he couldn't wait for this damn thing to get underway. When the music started, it only further served to pump up the onrushing crowd.
x-X-x
At five thirty, every single member of the group had had enough partying for the moment. They wanted to go have a break. Hopefully during this time they could find a relatively clean toilet. Of course they knew that realistically, there was a snowflake's chance in hell of that happening though.
Grabbing a hold of one another's hand, the four friends formed a line so that they wouldn't be able to get separated. The further they got out of the crowd, the better it got in terms of being able to make it out as a group.
When they got out of the cesspool of people singing along and dancing to the music, there was a noticeable drop in temperature and this was actually something that everyone but Gohan noticed.
It might have had to do with the fact that Gohan was the only one who had dressed properly for the weather. Even he could have been wearing a long sleeve top to combat the autumn weather. Still, wearing a pair of jeans was much better than the garments of choice by his friends.
Sharpner was wearing a pair of shorts that stopped halfway don his thigh and a needle width singlet. Erasa wasn't fairing much better in her black leather shorts that if they were a different material, they could be classified as undies.
"Why is every guy walking around here with their chests out and their shirts off?" Gohan questioned with a look of distaste on his face.
"The guys are trying to look cute for girls like me and Videl to stare at their big and heavily defined muscles silly!" Erasa said, giggling at what she had just heard. It was funny to see the times when Gohan still showed his country side accidentally.
"But apart from one or two people out of every guy here, if they do manage to have a decent amount of muscle which didn't come from training for a specific festival, then none of them have any conditioning. If the point of this is to have muscle to show, then why not actually have muscle to show girls."
"And you're exempt from criticism aren't you Gohan…?" Videl sarcastically questioned.
"Well, I guess I'll let you be the judge Videl." Gohan replied with a smirk on his face as he took off his t-shirt, pulled his jeans and underwear down to the point where the tops of his thighs were on show.
"Oh wow…" Erasa muttered to herself as she saw the amount of muscle Gohan was packing and just how defined it was. She couldn't help but stare at the naked upper half of Gohan's body.
Videl wasn't any better in terms of being discreet. Her pupils dilated, her chest subtly expanded by the way of her arm moving to the side and the biggest tell was the fact that only slightly, her tongue peeked out for the smallest amount of time and gave a quick lick t her upper lip.
For all of her time spent at the gym which her father owned, all of the men that were there tried to build their bodies like bodybuilders; Sharpner included. This meant that they were trying to build blocky physiques with as much muscle as possible.
She didn't find that at all attractive. Gohan on the other hand, he was different. He had the build of a fighter; massive shoulders, traps, chiselled back and had insane separation showcasing every single muscle that his body had to offer. His obliques weren't blocky and if she had to find a word for it, Videl would think that he looked very aesthetic.
"So Videl, am I allowed to judge other people on their physique based on my own?" He questioned with a smirk on his face. He wasn't blind to the fact that Videl found him attractive.
Even Sharpner was admiring the amount of muscle that Gohan had on his body. What he was admiring in a totally no homo way was how shredded he was. He had first-hand experience as to how hard it was to lose fat whilst maintaining muscle.
To see how much muscle Gohan had put on in such a short space of time, it was truly mind boggling for an avid bodybuilder like himself. He was definitely going to ask Gohan what his secret was.
After he got the desired result, Gohan put his shirt back on. The result was almost instantaneous. His three friends returned back to normal and stopped staring at his body.
Food was eaten and Gohan even only had two massive regular human sized proportions. He definitely would have eaten more if this amount of food didn't already come to 25 dollars.
With how much food costed these days, it and the more extended answer of being able to provide for his family were the sole reasons as to why Gohan wanted, no needed his business to become successful.
It was during this time that the four friends started talking about which acts they liked the best and which ones they didn't really like. Eventually, after having some time away from the hectic festival atmosphere which allowed them to recharge their batteries, they decided to go back into the pit of 75,000 screaming fans.
With each song that was played, the four friends managed to get closer and closer back to the main stage. By the time that the last act before SevenTeen had finished his set, the four friends had managed to get to the point where they were only 5 rows behind the very front.
"I wish I was taller." Videl Lamented with a sigh. There was not a single time that she hated the fact that she wasn't as tall as her male friends more than this one. She couldn't see anything unless she was on her tippy toes and even then she got only a small gap between two peoples' shoulders.
Gohan saw this and immediately squatted down so his bum was touching his ankles. "Hey Videl?" was all that Gohan needed to ask for the girl to turn around and realise what gesture he was offering.
She gave him a big smile that showed her pearly whites, curled some hair behind her ears and nodded. Videl stood over the top of Gohan and then the black haired boy slowly got up from his squat and as he did this, Videl seamlessly sat on top of his shoulders and used her legs by pushing them against Gohan's body to balance herself.
It turned out to be a changing of the guards as it was now Videl's turn to start playing with hair. Whenever she got tired of waving her arms in the air, dancing to the song that was being played currently, Videl ran them through Gohan's hair.
The smile on the face of Videl was proof that she was the happiest that she had ever been. She didn't mind it when Gohan put his hands on top of her knees to help keep her from falling off. If anyone tried to touch her there, she would punch them in the face. For some reason though, she didn't seem to mind the contact.
There was even more proof when Erasa tapped the shoulder of Gohan and got his attention. She had her phone out and pointed it at her best friend and Gohan. Videl was normally the type of person who did absolutely everything in her power to avoid the camera. Videl was so used to unwanted attention in the form of paparazzi following her around that she didn't like any photo of her whatsoever, even if it one of her friends were the one's taking it.
This time however, sitting on top of Gohan's shoulders, Videl continued to smile as she placed her hands on Gohan's head whilst Erasa took the photo.
x-X-x
It was ten at night and the show was finally finished. "That. Was. Amazing!" Videl screamed with a look of utter jubilation on her sweaty face. Due to everyone who was at the festival, it caused the temperature of the congested area.
The fireworks had just finished, signifying the end of the show. The four friends couldn't believe what they had just witnessed. The final song called Alive by Krewella which Seventeen had remixed was the perfect song to end the festival.
"Ya know, I'm normally not really into this type of music even though I have to hear it constantly from Vi-Vi here but after experiencing that, I have to say that I am a convert!" Erasa said with a big grin on her face.
"Yeah, so when's the next one?" Sharpner jokingly said as he too was converted into listening to EDM more often.
"We still have the meet and greet back stage with SevenTeen." Gohan reminded his friends and he swore that he felt a shudder of excitement go through Videl's legs as she was reminded of the chance of getting to meet her idol.
"You know you can let me down now Gohan." Videl dryly said although the smile on her face had not gone away.
"Nope, I don't think I will. This is the happiest I have ever seen you so I want to keep you this way." Gohan cheekily replied as he looked up at Videl who was leaning over the top of him. When their eyes locked, Videl blushed and looked away.
"Oh alright then… if you insist." Videl said despite knowing the fact that if she wanted to get off of Gohan's shoulders, she very well could. Sitting on Gohan's shoulders was comfortable though and she didn't mind it at all because Gohan was right. There was absolutely nothing that could ruin today.
It just went to show that you didn't need alcohol to have fun. In fact, if you had the right setting as well as being surrounded by the right people, any form of alcohol became a deterrent to the experiences that you were creating together.
Erasa, who saw all of this happening couldn't help but look away. Of course there was nothing more that made her happy than seeing a smile on her best friend's face since you didn't get to see a smile all that often. Despite all of this, there was still something about this scene that rubbed her the wrong way.
Erasa, Sharpner, Videl and Gohan didn't waste any more time in making their way over to the VIP entrance to behind the main stage. They all conveniently ignored the growling stomach of Gohan as they knew just how hungry he must have been.
When they got within twenty metres of the entrance, Gohan bent over slightly and Videl took the hint and jumped off of him and landed on the ground safely thanks to her perfect balance.
They quickly then made their way over to the VIP section and signed in. They were then told that they would have to wait a little bit which none of them minded. It gave them a chance to catch their breaths and calm down from the show.
Eventually, they were told that they could go in and meet SevenTeen. The three friends barring Gohan were all excited to go and see the person who had just put on the amazing performance.
"Seventeen sir, here are the people with the VIP package to meet you." A security guard stated to the famous celebrity. Seventeen didn't know that said people with the VIP experience. If he did, he simply wouldn't care with them hearing what he said. He was only performing to get paid.
"Tell them to fuck off. I don't do meet and greets with fans." The second that Videl heard this, the smile on her face fell. She hated to think that the only celebrity that wasn't her father was a massive douche.
Gohan saw this and decided to take matters into his own hand. Without getting noticed by anyone, including the two Seventeen himself, Gohan slipped past everyone and stood next to someone he hadn't seen in a long time.
Seventeen picked a few wedges, ate them and then without even looking, sent his hand back to the bowl to get some more. He felt around and wondered why he was feeling plastic instead of seared potato.
"These actually taste great! Where is all of the other food?" Gohan questioned as he started scoffing down the food in his hand.
When seventeen heard this, he was about to break the jaw of the retard who dared to do something like this. The security guards also saw the appearance of Gohan and just about to use force to kick him out of the room.
Meanwhile, as all of this was happening, Sharpner, Erasa and mostly Videl stood shell shocked at what they were witnessing. It seemed that Gohan had balls of steel to go and do something like this.
"I'm surprised mummy let you off her tight leash to come here… wait, don't answer that. Tell me, which spastic did you ask to get this?" The orange scarf wearing man questioned.
Gohan whilst insulted about the first comment smirked. "Oh I'm so happy that that is the way you phrased the question." It was at this point that seventeen held his hand up when the two security guards were about to forcibly rip Gohan out of his seat. They immediately stopped this action.
"Let me guess… you asked my sister right?" when he saw the nod come from Gohan who was in the process of stuffing his face, Seventeen continued speaking. "I still stand by my claim, my sister is a spastic, she married that midget and had his kid."
It was at this point that Videl got over her shock at the apparent fact that Gohan knew her idol. "Gohan! What is the meaning of this!? I thought you said that you didn't know him!?" Videl accused, wanting to know why her friend had lied to her. She felt betrayed!
"I didn't say that, I simply answered a different question that you didn't ask. Everyone went all silent after that so I thought that I did a pretty good job in evading the question." The saiyan teenager then turned his attention to Seventeen. "They think that I have some sort of alter ego and that I have a ton of secrets to hide! Can you believe that?" Gohan questioned in an exaggerated tone, hoping that Seventeen would back him up.
He forgot what a right old cunt Seventeen could be when he wanted to. Seventeen then turned to the group of three. "Gohan does have an alter ego and he has tons of secrets that he wants to hide from you. Do you want me to tell you them?"
Videl seemed to get a sinister grin on her face when she heard this. She had just found an avenue into the secret life of Gohan and she was definitely going to abuse it. As this was happening there was a look of shock and betrayal on the face of Gohan.
Gohan looked at Videl and sighed. "Of all the people that I know that you had to idolize, why couldn't you have picked someone better?"
Seventeen immediately looked affronted. "I'll have you know that I am the perfect role model for your two sexy friends Gohan! Who would you rather them idolize over me?" Seventeen questioned with a pout on his face. He was grinning on the inside though as he knew he was an asshole and he was proud of it. He just wanted to make Gohan reveal more about himself.
Videl blushed a crimson red when she heard her idol call her sexy. She couldn't believe it!
As it turned out, Gohan got a smirk of his own on his face. "She should rather idolize Hercule Satan over you." The teenage saiyan said with a smirk on his face.
Videl didn't think that Gohan actually knew her father and was instead using this to say she should idolize her father which she already did. That changed though when she saw the expression on the face of Seventeen. He was absolutely fuming with rage.
"That's the fucking biggest low blow out of them all you pathetic piece of shit. At least I am honest to my fans and I don't abandon them like your dad did to you." Seventeen spitefully said before turning around to Gohan's friends.
"You wanted to know secrets about Gohan? Well here are some few, He is third in line to the Fire Mountain monarchy, his godmother is Bulma Briefs…" Before he could say any more, Gohan fired off an energy blast at a speed which no one but Seventeen noticed. Given his position, he wasn't able to dodge it. It hit him straight in the face.
Seventeen then turned to Gohan. "What, is that all you got? I mean I know you slacked off for seven years but I didn't think you were that weak, I mean even I could single handily destroy you and I haven't trained once either!"
This was a surprise to Videl especially. She thought of Gohan as someone being on her level in fighting. To think that her idol who didn't look like a fighter at all was capable of going toe to toe with Gohan was mind boggling.
She then saw a serious look on the face of Gohan that she very rarely saw. "Seventeen, just to let you know, I have a year and 3 months left over in the hyperbolic time chamber still to use and that is more than enough time for me to get stronger than even Vegeta. Don't make me angry because you have seen first hand how deadly serious I can be. You don't want me to unleash what gave me the nickname 'The Prodigy' out on you do you?"
With that said, Gohan stood up and walked over to his friends. "This VIP session is over. As you now know, I can get you to meet him whenever you want. There are some things that have happened that I like to keep private but since he has open some of the skeletons in my closet, I guess I will have to answer them for you when we get back to Videl's house." Gohan said in a commanding tone of voice. All of them followed Gohan out of the room without question as they were curious to find out more about their friend.
Who knew he was a prince and had Bulma Briefs as his fricken god mother!?
Seventeen had a pout on his face. He couldn't care about all of the empty threats that Gohan had just made; he was just upset that Gohan had taken the bowl of wedges with him!
Author's Note: I have been getting a lot of reviews about how Gohan is a major asshole and the world's biggest jerk, worse than Hitler (slight paraphrasing.) This is also said with the convenient actions of Videl being forgotten. Just because I haven't written Videl being as bitchy as she is in canon, doesn't mean she isn't.
I know that you can paint a picture words (I.E aggressively demanding information through intimidation and fear or merely being inquisitive.) Everyone gives Videl's character to free reign when it comes to her attitude but when Gohan is afforded the same liberties he turns into the worst person ever.
I am simply trying to create a more realistic Gohan, sure he might be a bit standoffish but not no one is perfect. Everyone has flaws in their personality whether you like it or not. This is not supposed to be close to canon because if you wanted that, then why bother with fanfiction?
For all those people and specifically those who like to DJ their own party who want to have an image of what Gohan looks like in this story, search up Jeff Seid.
