So here's the first chapter for season 5, I hope you guys like it! Please let me know what you think and thank you so much for all your kind words, I really appreciate it!

Charlotte was sat at the front desk of the police station, answering phonecalls on the last night of summer. Not exactly her idea of a good time but ever since the dead pool and the whole banshee thing and the fact that she almost got killed…twice, her father decided it would be better for her to not go out for a while…a while being the entire summer. Not that she went out much in the first place, that bonfire last school year was the last party she'll be attending in a loooooong time.

"Charlotte?" She looked up when she heard her father call her name. "Yeah?"

"Where's Parrish?"

She looked around for a moment before returning to face her dad "Uhhh…he went to check out that noise complaint you told him about, remember?" she told him. "Charlie, that was over an hour ago."

"Oh, well then I have no clue where he is."

He nodded "Well, if you see him tell him to come see me."

About fifteen minutes later two deputies brought in Donovan. Over the course of the summer, Charlotte had seen him almost weekly, he's a real badass or so he believes. Sheriff Stilinski came out of his office again "Donovan, you remember what the judge said don't you, next time it's jail time."

"Stilinski…hold up."

"What's he in for?" Stilinski asked the two deputies. "Piony and he was carying a loaded 38."

"Okay, it wasn't mine. Sheriff, come on it wasn't mine." Donovan tried to defend himself but he had quiet the reputation so clearly no one believed him.

"Book him."

Donovan took a deep breath before starting to yell all kinds of things at Stilinski "Oh, you're dead." He started as the deputies took him away. "You hear me, hey look at me! You're dead you son of a bitch you're dead!"

Stilinski closed his eyes and shook his head before opening his eyes again and yelling "Can anyone tell me why the hell Parrish isn't back yet?!"

Charlotte sighed and grabbed her phone, wanting to check facebook but before she even unlocked it she let it drop out of her hands. Her heart started beating rapidly as her breath started becoming more shallow. Panick attack? It was a strange sensation that only lasted seconds but she knew that something was off so she stood up and walked over to her dad's office.

"Dad?" She started, a confused look on her face to match the thoughts going through her mind. "Charlotte, I'm busy." He said, hinting that she should leave.

"Yeah I know but I think we should go find Parrish…" she started. "I think something's wrong." That coming from his daughter was all he needed to put on his jacket, grab his keys and drag her outside to his car.

He was driving at a speed well above the limit but I guess that's something he could do as he is the Sheriff. "So is this a banshee thing?" he asked Charlotte as he gave some more gass. Charlotte quickly shook her head "No, just a weird feeling. Besides, dad, I already told you…not a banshee anymore." Stilinski nodded and they continued the rest of their drive in silence.

Once the car came to a pause the both of them immidiatley took off into the seemingly abandonded house.

"Hey dad! In here!" Charlotte shouted once she had found the unconcious and badly injured deputy.

"What the hell happened?"

"I don't know, I guess something attacked him." Charlotte said, pointing at the scratchmarks on his chest. "Something, or someone?" Charlotte shrugged before helping her dad carry Parrish outside the house and towards the car.

When they finally got to the hospital, her father forced Charlotte to stay outside. Like really, you're going to keep something supernatural…or ex-supernatural out of supernatural business? Really? So that's why she had her ear pressed up against the door when Liam found her.

"Charlie? What are you doing here? What happened?"

She turned around to meet a very concerned looking Liam staring at her hands and shirt. It took her a moment to realise he was staring at the blood she was covered in. "Oh…" she started, wiping her blood stained hands off on her jeans "Yeah…something happened to Parrish."

Liam nodded, a smirk appearing on his face as he watched how Charlotte desperatly tried to hear what was being said in the other room. "Okay, move over." He told her, once she did he moved closer towards the door and concentrated on the voices coming from inside.

"So? What's happening?" Charlotte asked him.

Without even saying something he suddenly took off "Liam! Liam, wait!" Charlotte shouted after him, making him come to a stop instantly. "What's wrong?" she asked, walking up to him.

"Scot's in danger." He told her. "What are you talking about?"

"I heard Parrish say that whatever attacked him is looking for Scott."

Charlotte nodded "Okay, then I'm coming with you."

The look on Liam's face immidiatley turned into a very stern look as he told her to stay here "No, it's too dangerous!"

"But…" before she could even finish her sentence, Liam pressed his lips to her's before running off, shouting that he'd call her later.

Hours had gone by in which Charlotte had gotten home, had showered to wash off the blood and had changed into her pj's and still she'd heard nothing from Liam or any of the others. So that's what she was doing right now, sitting on her bed, desperatley waitng for a call from Liam. But nothing came so she decided to just go to bed, she'd just catch him in the morning.

The moment she got under the covers and turned off the light she heard something tapping her window. "Seriously?" she sighed, knowing exactly what was going on. She turned the lights back on and walked over to her window to open it. She was met with a smiling Liam almost instantly after having opened her window. They had been doing this quiet a lot over the summer, since her father had forbidden her from going out.

Liam wrapped his arms around her to pull her close and pressed a soft kiss on her lips before letting her go again. "So?" she asked.

"Some weird looking werewolf tried to steal his powers and failed miserably." He told her with a big smile on his face. Charlotte nodded "Oh…well sounds like a regular day in Beacon Hills." She said with a grin.

She sat down on her bed, patting the spot next to her. Liam sat down next to her, having a look on his face like he knew exactly what was coming. "Liam, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." He replied, his eyes glued to the floor as he did everytime he was hiding something from her. "The fact that you have dried blood on your hands begs to differ." She told him.

He let out a big exaggerated sigh. "It's just hard." He told her. Charlotte nodded "Well, you're not alone." She told him, taking one of his blood stained hands in hers. Liam smiled and nodded "I know. But I should get going now. You know, first day of school tomorrow." Charlotte nodded before giving him a kiss and then watching him take off.

She felt bad, there was no denying it. She never told anyone about what happened in Mexico, not even Liam and during moments like this she felt bad about lying. But she couldn't tell anyone about, not as long as she doesn't know everything herself.
