Thank you to FabPotato28 and Meijin Lightus for the reviews. Please be sure to R/R!
I will say this now. I will not update for the next few weekends because I have exams and my last tests. Thank you for the support and the patience.
When Levy woke up the next morning, or what she assumed was the next morning, Juvia was in her face. Sitting in a corner was Gajeel. "Juvia, Gajeel? Where have you been? Wait… Where are we?" The light haired woman asked her friends. "A cave, somewhere cold. Gajeel hasn't told Juvia either." "It's for your safety. Anyway, you want somethin' Shrimp?" He gestured to the pile of food he had resting on a clean blanket.
Her stomach growled and she flushed. Gajeel gave his signature 'Gi hi.' And juvia chuckled, covering her mouth slightly. "Yes please." She murmured. As the three mages ate Levy was wondering why Gajeel and Juvia were here, in a cave. "Why have you two not been at the castle?" "December is a hard month for Gajeel. Juvia stays with him to keep him from hurting himself any more than he has too." She turned to Gajeel, frowning because of that answer.
"December is a bad month for me. Someone very close to me died during December so I stay away. It's safer that way, for everyone involved. I need you here to help and I need – we need to tell you something. But you can't tell anyone. You have to take an oath." Levy got the impression that whatever Gajeel and Juvia wanted to tell her was important and very close to them. She nodded seriously. She would swear this oath if it meant helping the people she cared about.
Juvia handed her a piece of paper. She read it and looked to Gajeel. "It's a Dragon Oath. It's an unbreakable oath that is spoken sometimes over very important matters. Juvia had to say one when I first told her some of this. Will you say it?" He asked, but something in his voice made Levy scared for a second. She had never heard Gajeel plead, and that's what it sounded like, a plea.
"I, Levy McGarden, swear to you, Gajeel Redfox, to not speak of what has been spoken here – with anyone beside yourself and your First Kin, Juvia Lockser. I swear by High King Draco."
Levy felt the magic working around her as she felt compelled to take the small knife that was offered to her and drip a few drops of her blood on the paper. The words turned dark gray, black, light blue, and then a blood red. "It's done, the oath is complete. Nothing can break it, only High King Draco can."
When Lucy and Gray woke up the next morning there was no Gajeel, no Juvia and no Levy. "Levy. She's gone. I think Gajeel took her, something must have happened that he has both Juvia and Levy." Lucy whispered to Gray as they were getting ready. He nods and looks around the Common Room to notice that no one is paying attention to them. "I think this might deal with the Dragons. Think about it, both Juvia and Levy gone? That means Natsu is the only one who will know anything about what all of this means."
Gray hated the fact that she was right. He really didn't want to ask Natsu for anything but they didn't know anything about Dragons or about what it means to be one or the child of one. "Fine, but when this blows up on our face I can tell you 'I told you so'. Got it?" She waved her hand, "Yeah, yeah."
The two Ravenclaw Sixth Years found the Gryffindor boy at his table scarfing down every available item. "Someone's hungry." Lucy said as she approached from behind. Hey, Lucy. What's up? Why'd ya bring the stripper?" "We have a couple questions for you." Natus raised a pink eyebrow.
"What about?" "Gajeel." She whispered in his ear. He snapped his teeth together and looked between the Ice and Celestial mages. "Why does that involve Gray? Or you for that matter, since when have you and Gajeel been friends?" "Levy, she's gone." "So, something must have happened to Rogue or Metalicana. No wonder he took his First Kin and Mate. Look, Luce. You need to stay out of this, whatever happened to Gajeel the only two who can handle this without getting hurt are Juvia and Levy. Leave this alone, all of you." He swept his eyes throughout the hall and locked eyes with every mage.
"Rogue is Yukino's guild mate, if something happened to –" Lucy was cut off as Natsu stood quickly and faced her. "Lucy Heartfilia, this is between Dragons. You have no part in this. I will not…" He stopped and spun to see Gajeel step out of a shadowed corner. "Salamander, she is your Mate, this does concern her. Look, Bunny Girl. The Shrimp and Rain Woman are fine. I am taking care of them. Have you forgotten I was beaten to a bloody pulp by both your Dragon and the She-Demon's?"
Lucy looked between the two Dragon Slayers and sighed. "Levy and Juvia are safe? Are you sure?" "Juvia is my Kin. Anyone who harms either of them will face my anger. Just as anyone who messes with you, Stripper and Titania will get turned to ash by Salamander." He crossed his arms looked to the pink haired man. "Who has Wendy? You and Natsu still haven't told us that." Cana came from the High Table and looked to the Dragon Slayers.
Everyone in the hall was watching what the two dragons would do. Some even thought that they kidnapped Wendy and had hidden her away.
That is when Erza cried out in pain, Natsu and the others looked to her as she clutched her head in pain.
…
Then she saw it. Or rather, her.
Wendy.
She was in an office of some kind with a man. The man had green hair, just a shade darker than Freed's. He was saying something to her. "Ms. Marvel, I apologize with how the King needed to retrieve you. He wished to speak to you about the upcoming Trials and Tournament. You will be partaking this year."
A knock sounded, the green haired man waved his hand and the door unlocked. In walked a man with blue, black and silver hair, with blue markings on his arms. Wendy was terrified, she sunk down low to the ground and whispered, "Your Highness." Her head and eyes down.
"Lord Belserion, I hear the Queen is looking for you." Lord Belserion bowed to his King and left the man and girl alone. "I'm sorry for scaring or hurting you when I took you away from that misplaced world." The King almost sounded regretful. Wendy still remained on the floor, he sighed and snapped his fingers.
Wendy gasped as her body was forced upward. Her head was forced to face his. She closed her eyes and whimpered in fear. "Look at me." His tone was neutral, but the command was still obeyed by the girl. "Do you know why you are here?" She nods slowly. "Why?" Wendy didn't answer right away.
"I am to partake in the Trials and Tournament this year…" She trialed off and looked down to the floor. She started shuffling away from the man. "Wendy." The way he said her name made her freeze. "Do you know who I am?" He asked, she whimpered in fear and started crying. "Ac- Acnologia."
…
Erza raised her head and looked directly to the Slayers of Iron and Fire. "I know who has Wendy." She spoke, her eyes were narrowed with anger at being kept in the dark. "How do you know that, Erza?" Natsu asked her. "I just had a vision. But I know who has her," Gajeel and Natsu cocked their heads and waited for her answer.
"Who has Wendy?" Levy asked surprisingly. Gajeel turned to see his Mate and First Kin holding on to each other. "Juvia…" He growled at his friend. "Don't get mad at her Gajeel. You and Natsu have been keeping secrets from all of us, and more importantly, Wendy. She is one of you, she should know what the hell is going on!" The little woman stomped her foot on the ground in anger.
"Erza who has Wendy?" The redhead closed her eyes and readied her voice to speak the one name all of them were hoping never to hear again.
"Acnologia."
"What…" The students and teachers didn't understand why all of the transfers were frozen in fear and were crying for the small Hufflepuff girl. "Who is this…? Acnologia?" McGonagall asked cautiously. "He is our King." A voice had interrupted the hall once more. Natsu and Gajeel bowed their heads in respect of the green haired man who had appeared out of nowhere.
"Lord Belserion. What brings you here?" Natsu says slowly. Not knowing what the Lord of Wisdom was doing here. "Do you not wish to hear about Ms. Marvel?" He asked calmly. Everyone who knew Wendy froze, even the students and professors of Hogwarts. Wendy was one of the most, if not the most kind-hearted girl anyone had ever met. That included the Slytherins that knew here as well.
Erza wanted to confront the man who had appeared in her vision but was held back by the Weasley twins. They could feel the power that was around this man in green. Who or whatever he was, they knew that the only two who could take him, even remotely would be The Sixth Year Gryffindor and the Seventh Year Slytherin.
"Where is Wendy? What does Ac- Acnologia want with her?" Cana stumbled with the Dragon King's name but that was understandable. She thought back to her father, showing her what had happened with the dragon, and then later, with Tenrou. Lord Belserion turned to the brunette. "You can say his name even with what he did to your father? Impressive, you might have Dragon's Blood in you yet. However I do not have to answer you. I came here for one purpose."
The Sage Dragon walked to Gajeel and asked plainly, "Where is the High King's namesake?" "Draco Malfoy, come out." The black haired Slayer called out to the blonde boy. "Who are you? What do you want with me?" Draco asked the lord. "You have been chosen to be the second Champion of the Celestial Kingdom." Draco didn't know what that meant but whatever it was the Gryffindor and Slytherin were shocked.
"Draco? He is a boy, he doesn't even know his true power." Natsu argued. "Do you not accept the choice the Celestial Queen and Zodiac King made, Prince Natsu?" "That's not it, you know that. Is Wendy competing this year?" His eyes were sharp as they looked at the sage lord. "Yes, she will be in the older bracket. King Acnologia gave a good argument, she will compete with the older Slayers."
"She is 13, a child who still hasn't unlocked her second element!" Natsu screamed at the lord. He didn't care if he was talking to the father of the Queen, he was mad. "She is my ward! I deserve to have a say in what happens to her!" His eyes turned gold, slanted in the anger that rolling off of the pink haired man.
Belserion's eyes narrowed, he was not impressed with the tantrum the Fire Prince was throwing. "Watch yourself, boy. You were warned of what would happen if you took in a Slayer or mage that was not of the Fire Kingdom. You ignored that warning and this is the result. The only one you have to blame is yourself." Natsu growled out in frustration but knew the truth behind the lord's words.
Lord Belserion said his final words to the Prince. "Her trial will be both her punishment and yours. You will be required to watch, and any other who has any kinship or relation to her." The green sage glanced at Draco and the blonde boy straightened.
"Draco Malfoy, you are hereby deemed the second Champion of the Celestial Kingdom. Champion Marvel and yourself will go through a series of trials to see if you can survive the Tournament. You will remain in the Capital until the Trials and Tournament, your trainer will be your fellow Champion, Wendy Marvel."
He knew to obey the command not spoken, follow this man or get hurt. Draco knew his father will tear apart this entire school to get him back but if these Trials and Tournament were required to be viewed by any person of relation to him then his family will be forced to watch him compete. He would be competing in something like the Tri-Wizard Tournament, or at least that's what it sounded like when Natsu and Gajeel were speaking with this lord about it.
He and Lord Belserion went to an open portal and popped out in a hallway. "This is Wendy Marvel's room. Yours is the room on the left, both rooms will be magically locked at night but there is a door that connects these two rooms. You will be learning from her and her, you." He then spoke to the guards.
"The only ones who are allowed in these rooms are myself, the King and Queen, and the Zodiac King, Leo. Is that understood?" The guards nod seriously and open the doors to Draco's new room. Lord Belserion leaves after that to report to the Queen.
