A/N: Sorry for the wait, I've been hella busy with school and it sucks. Now that Castle has started back up I'll probably be posting more often. Enjoy.

Post 8x02

"Forgive me." Kate whispers and turns to go but not before Castle grabs her arm and pulling her back.

"No, Kate. Not after everything we've been through, you don't just get to leave. You think you're protecting me? Keeping me safe? How many times do we have to do this until we realize were safe together? Kate, I know you can't change who you are but let me help you deal with it. Let me help you. I'm your husband Kate that's what I'm supposed to do. Just stay with me Kate. Don't push me away." Castle rests his forehead on hers holding her close, pouring out his love fore her. He reaches down and molds his lips to hers. She willingly kisses her husband back with tears rolling down her cheeks. Backing her into their room Castle covers his wife on their bed, never breaking their kiss. She's right there with him pulling her shirt off and unclasping her bra. When they are finally divested of their clothing Castle wastes no time in thrusting into his wife, giving her no time to adjust.

"I know you feel that Kate. It's us. This is us. Together. Kate, don't leave. Stay with me here and we can work this together." He 's started a slow rhythm and Kate doesn't even try to stop the steady stream of tears rolling down her face. She loves this man so much. She never wants him to get hurt especially because of her. "I love you Kate, so much and I know you love me too and that's enough. We will be okay, just stay with me." Castle leans down and kisses her passionately and she puts just as much into the kiss. He slows his rhythm and his kiss, making it last. Showing her how good they are together, how in tune their bodies are with each other. Kate is taking deep breaths but her eyes are closed. He knows she is still crying and kisses her tears.

Nearing the end Castle starts to lose his rhythm and hears Kate's breath quicken. He pushes harder, thrusting into her until her feels her tighten and come on a muffled scream into his shoulder. He's right behind her filling her up with his come with his head buried in her neck. Falling to the side of her Castle never lets go holding her close to him. "Please don't leave, Kate. I love you so much, just stay with me.

Finally looking up at him Kate meets her husbands eyes, "I love you too Castle, with all of my heart I love you and I promise I will never stop." With that they quickly fall into a deep slumber, tangled together in the sheets.

Waking with a start Castle finds the bed empty and Kate's side cold. Confused he gets up and walks out to the kitchen expecting to see Kate making coffee but instead is greeted with silence.

"No." Castle runs back into the bedroom to see the bathroom empty but a note on his bedside table.

I'm sorry. I love you.

Castle stops breathing and sits on his bed feeling all the air leave his lungs. She left. Thinking back to last night he never remembers hearing her say she will stay. She never planned on it. Castle can't stop the few tears that drop out of his eyes.

He knows she left to find more answers. To find herself. He finds himself angrier than ever but part of it is he is angry with himself. He knows Kate. Has been studying for nearly a decade. He knows how she thinks and he knows she will come back to him. This isn't the end no matter how much it feels like it right now.

A/N: I like many others was upset at the end of this episode but part of me understands it so I can't be too mad. I hate that all post eps that are being written right now are fix its making Kate stay so I decided to write my own version.
