Wow how long has it been? Hi guys, I'm back! And hopefully with a good chapter. Yeah probably not. On a side note Icee the Hedgehog and I are writing a story together! Yay! Dunno when we actually work on it though. :P
Broken Line: Yep. He's so smart. :3 Anyways, thank you!
SonicRomance15: Thank you too. I'll try my best to continue writing to the best of my abilities... Wow that sounded like a pledge..
werewolf lover99: I'll try to do better then. Hope you like this chapter.
I don't own Sonic the hedgehog or any cannon or OC characters.
General POV with Sky The female cobalt hedgehog squirmed again and again against her binds hoping that for some unknown reason they would somehow drop to the ground dead. Sadly they weren't showing any signs of dying anytime soon, in fact they looked quite healthy. 'Damn' She thought finally giving up for the moment to rest. Apparently not sleeping, drinking or eating is bad for your health. And cold isn't any better.
Sky had to admit it had been a long time since she was in these types of situations. There was that first time in her training and then a few more after that. Sky smiled slightly at those memories. She would get saved by the old team members and after a while Hunter. Her faded a bit at the thought of him. He would scold at her, telling her at least ten ways she could have prevented that and five more ways on how she could've saved herself. Still, she found it completely worth it every time she cuddled closer to him afterwards.
Sky sighed, not wanting to bring in these happy memories which she knew would make her current condition worse. She looked around again, trying to remember anything, anything at all about these plants. 'Okay so the more you struggle they squish you. You can get rid of them by cutting. ' She thought throwing her head ,to the best of her ability, realizing she didn't have anything sharp at the moment . 'Damn! I know there's something else aside from cutting that gets rid of these guys!' Sky gritted her teeth in frustration and thought. She shivered again and let out a large yawn despite how angry she was.
Sky looked around again and spotted the changelings snoozing in huddles, clearly not showing any sign of being cold. "Lucky bustards." She muttered. 'Wow, I'm such a potty mouth today.' She thought shaking her head. If she... No when she got back she would definitely tone her cursing down. She didn't want Sparkle to learn those colorful words from her. She was a good girl. It'll ruin her reputation as the only teen who didn't curse. At least she didn't when she had company.
Sky mentally slapped herself. How in the name of everything holy could she get sidetracked at this time? She lowered her head a bit before spotting a large bump that reminded her of a button near the base of the tree which grew those killer vines facing upwards. Her eyes widened once she realized that would make the vines let go of her. 'How could I be so stupid to remember that?' She thought. But then another thought came to her. How she, a hedehog a few feet above the bump, going to hit it? Sky frantically thought of anything. She couldn't get her locket plus she doubted it would weigh much to press down on the bump. Then it came to her. Her shoe!
Yes her shoe should be heavy enough to press the bump and have the vines coil back. Then she could use her speed to run away back into town and fix any damage that Thorn had done. Yep that plan sounded easy and Sky hoped it would be easy. But first step one: Get her shoe to drop. Sky bit her lip as she forcefully moved her legs together but her eyes widened when she let out a grunt. After Sky looked around, she calmed down once she saw none of the changelings had stirred. Again she worked at getting one of her converses off.
Finally after much hard work she felt it become lose and smiled, letting gravity take care of the rest. The blue shoe fell agonizingly slowly. It landed with a thud and at once the vines recoiled away like bugs scurrying out of the light. Sky herself landed on the ground, also having the air knocked out of her. She quickly recovered and put on her shoe before freezing. She heard someone move around.
That's when she took off.
With Shadow Shadowfound it easy to follow Thorn seeing as he was as fast as Sonic. And he was the ulitmate lifeform (AN: not sure if in Sonic X and the game he really is since you have the biolizard thing, but I was thought of as the real ulimate lifeform.) but not that he knew that. He was just keeping a distance from her so he wouldn't get caught and have himself lead somewhere further away from Sky.
Shadow sighed a bit at the thoughtof her. Why had he fallen for her? Quite simply he wouldn't be running right now. He would be probably still at Andrew's house, finding it amusing how he, one of her closest friends, curse at her. If only he hadn't developed a soft spot for her. At first it was pity, pity because of her loss. He lost someone close too but he secretly hoped she was out there somewhere. Then again his loss was just a friend. He knew that Sky and Hunter had something closer than that. It was friendship yet a romantic relationship at the same time. Something he heard Rouge talk about every now and then.
Then it developed into a small crush. Yes he had a crush on Sky who was basically his opposite. For example, She was cheerful while he was dreary. He was serious while she was playful. Shadow closed his eyes. After a while, it was the whole 'opposites attact' cliche love. He start to develop feelings more deeper than just a simple crush. He liked her polar personality and he know realized she really was Sonic's twin. He opened them quickly after thinking his name. If he ever found out that his one and only sister had been kidnapped on his watch he was as hell that the blue hedgehog would kill him. Not that he was afraid of him but he just wanted to see Sky again.
Shadow found himself so into his thoughts he never realized he bumped into someone.
Cliffhanger! So please review peeps! Have a nice day/evening/morning!
