At the Roadhouse, Dean and Sam were trying to explain the situation to Ellen.

'Dean's friend is looking after Sherrie, there was an accident and-"

Ellen interrupted Sam. "Oh god, it's she okay? What happened to her? Where is she?"

"She's on her way. She got tricked into going on a hunt by a vampire and he changed her; we can't change her back so we sent Dean's friend, who's a vampire to go and get her. He's in love with her anyway but you've got nothing to worry about cos he lives on blood bags and he's teaching her to do the same," Sam carried on explaining.

"Wait a minute, you're friends with a vampire? Are you out of your damned mind? Your dad would kick both your asses!"

"I owe him," Dean said, quietly.

"What could you possibly owe a vampire? And I'm sorry about Sherrie, I really am but you know what you've got to do. You can't let her live, or your friend. It's too much of a risk," Ellen sighed.

"I got sent to purgatory and he helped me get out; I'd still be there if it wasn't for Benny. If anything goes wrong, I'll be the one to take care of it but while they're lasting on blood bags and behaving themselves, no one touches them," Dean finished his pint. "We're going to a motel to meet them so if you decide toy want to see her, give me a ring." Dean stalked out, leaving Sam with Ellen and Jo.

"Really Ellen,she's safe."

"Then why are you meeting her at a motel?" Jo asked.

"She's scared you'll try and hurt her and it's sounds like she's right," Sam answered.

"SAM!" Dean shouted from outside.

"I'll see you later, maybe," Sam got up and left, leaving Jo and Ellen with a hard decision to make.

With the name of the motel on Benny's phone, we headed towards it, both glowing after our love-making.

"How long were you back from Purgatory before you rang Dean for help?" I asked.

"I thought you'd be able to figure that out, the time between Dean getting and me appearing with him one night," Benny raised an eyebrow.

"Oh right, duh," I laughed.

"You don't have to be nervous about seeing them, beautiful. I promise your won't hurt them," he looked at them.

"I know, I just...it's the first time...what do you think they'll reckon to us being mates?' I changed the subject.

"They've been like your brothers for over a year and a half now, so they're going to be protecting you just like I am. They're gonna be happy to see you."

"Hang on Benny, how do you know I've been with them for that long?" I smiled, unsure.

"Dean told me a while back."

"So you know everything, how they found me?"

"Sorry beautiful. But you've got Dean and Sam and now you've got me and we ain't going nowhere. So, are you sure?" Benny asked, pulling into the motel and parking next to Dean's impala.

"Yeah, err...you go ahead, I'll follow in a minute, let me just, erm...get used to it," I nodded and tapped my ear so he knew what I meant.

"I'll let them know," he leant over and gave me a kiss.

I watched Benny go into the room and leave the door open ajar; I got out and leant against his truck, listening to the heartbeats and trying to get used to them.

"Why is she outside, Benny? Bring her in."

"We trust her, she's gotta know it's safe."

"Is she getting used to things yet?"

"Has she been able to control herself okay?"

"Do you think she'll be okay?"

Sam and Dean fired questions at Benny.

"Will you tell them to shut up. They sound like teenagers meeting their first famous people," I said, knowing Benny would hear.

Inside, he started laughing.

"What? What's so funny?" Dean asked.

"She said, 'shut up, you sound like teenagers meeting your first famous celebrities'," Benny relayed the message.

"I'm coming in but can you tell whoever it is that's worried to chill their heart rate a little," I said, pushing away from the truck.

"She's coming in but, Sam, try to relax before your heartbeat sends her into a feeding frenzy and she ends up in purgatory cos where my mate goes, I go and I only got back not so long again," Benny said, dropping in that we were together.

"Excuse me, you're...what?" Sam held up a hand.

"His mate. Is your hearing that bad I'm going to have to turn you into a vampire?" I walked in and stopped next to Benny, sliding my hand round his waist.

"You look...like yourself," Sam said, looking me over.

"What were you expecting? Yellow eyes and sparkly skin? I thought we'd lost you," Dean pushed Benny aside and picked me up in a hug.

Benny kept his eyes on me and I smiled at him, letting him know I was okay.

"I thought he was gonna kill me, I didn't think I'd ever see you again," I choked up and hugged Dean back.

"Ow, ease up a little," Dean laughed.

"Oh, I'm sorry," I let go and then looked at Sam, standing still. "Hi Sam."

"Relax, it's just us. Everything can go back to normal...well almost everything," Sam smiled and hugged me.

'Yeah, err...good," I said, quickly pulling away and sitting on the furthest bed; I kept my head down and traced the pattern of the duvet with my fingers.

Sam smelled really good, better than Dean and enough so to make my fangs come out.

At first I tried deep breaths but it just made the smell stronger and made it harder to reel my fangs in.

"Sugar?" Benny sat next to me and, rubbing my back he leant forward, trying to see my face. "What's wrong?"

"Sam's different to Dean somehow and...maybe it'd be best if I-if I went back to the truck," I stood up.

"What's wrong?" Sam stepped forward.

"Sam, move back. Please. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean-I wasn't going to-" I stuttered over my words with my hands over my mouth and ran out to the van.

"Benny, maybe-"

"No, my mate is upset and I'm going to let her deal with what just happened on her own," he interrupted.

"Your mate, huh? Told you you'd get her," Dean slapped Benny's shoulder.

"What I was going to say," Sam tried again, "was that maybe we should let Dean go and speak to her; he knows how to handle it if something happens."

"Yeah, I'll take off her head; I've got my knife," Dean joked but Benny didn't find it funny.

"Don't even joke abut that, Dean," Benny stepped toward him.

"Chill out, okay? We've been through this already. I'll be back with her in a minute."

Dean left Sam and Dean and walked over to where I was resting on my arms against the side of the truck.

I was taking deep, unneeded breaths, trying to relax but was aware of a heartbeat closing in; from the smell, I knew it wasn't Sam.

"Come to take my head off, Dean?" I mumbled.

"It was a joke," Dean rolled his eyes, knowing that my hearing was sharp enough to be aware of what was said.

"I know. Listen, I'm so sorry, they weren't supposed to come out, I tried to keep them in, I really did, I wasn't going to bite Sam, I promise," I babbled and held my breath to stop from getting upset.

"Hey," Dean turned me round by my shoulders. "I'm going to tell you something no one else knows, not even Sam...well, Benny will know now as well, but anyway, my fangs came out when I was with Lisa, so I panicked and pushed Ben into a wall. Took ages for her to answer my calls so don't worry okay? With the three of us to help, you'll be on your feet in no time."

"Promise you and Sam won't ditch?" I looked up at him.

"I swear on baby," Dean referred to his car.

I raised my eyebrows and wasn't surprised when he changed his mind. "Actually, maybe not. I'll swear on Sam's life instead."

We both laughed and Dean wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"So, you and Benny, huh?"

"Yeah, you said it was gonna happen," I rolled my eyes.

"You can only fight off love for so long. So, you hook up straight away?"

"No, I made him sleep in a separate bed but that first night, I had a nightmare and it scared my shitless so Benny shared his bed with me. The next day I managed to see...him, not a vampire. We didn't hook up until, err...an hour ago," I flashed a smile and ran to Benny.
