Winter's Coming

Fishing Days: Part 3

~T.A. 2974, June 24 ~ Lagoona Port

"Gray, Gray, Gray!"

Cheers and chanting of the first mate of the Soaring Dragon, could be heard even from outside the tavern.

Kagome, had only entered out of mild curiosity.

They had entered the port to deliver several barrels of fish to a merchant in town and trade some goods. She had immediately took it upon herself to find a decent place to take a nice bath and was refreshed and relieved to not smell like nasty fish so much. She had even bought some nice soap and cloth to stock in the bathroom for the other men, though doubted they would use.

She had reveled in being in women's clothes once more, her breast no longer restricted. One of the maids was all to happy to loan her an outfit for the day. A green dressed that hugged her curves and emphasized her full breasts and came to her ankles with frills at the bottom. She wore comfortable boots underneath. Her hair she left in a french braid, but kept her bang out. Willing her powers to sort of hide her ears and her hair to change to black took some effort, but she achieved it. She put on just a touch of lip paint to make them pop. Her mother's necklace lay cushioned in the valley of her breasts.

She went shopping for some necessary items she would need before simply touring around the port till night fell.

Now as she entered the seedy tavern she took in her crew gathered around a table chanting Gray's name. Men held large cups of mead while dancing and singing sea shanties. Some glanced her way, perusing her form as she walked by. She had learned to ignore such looks over the years.

Even curiouser she grew closer, nudging her way through.

When she reached the center there was Gray and another man chowing down on fish.

"What they heck," she wanted in morbid fascination as the fish on Gray's plate seemed to disappear like it was nothing. Sure she had seen Inuyasha eat like that sometimes, but he was a demon and Gray was just a human, no matter his stature.

"Can you believe it that be 'is 17th one, he jus' rips the meat right off with his razor sharp teeth," a man who smelled like whisky said in awe. Although that hadn't stopped his hand from coming close to her rear, brushing up against her side.

Grimacing she moved over a little, although she too was impressed.

Watching with avid interest as a barmaid pushed through the crowd with a tray bringing out another plate of cooked fish that Gray just seemed to dig into.

The man competing against him started to get a little green in the face on his twentieth one, while Gray was ten fish ahead. His opponent attempted to try and take another bite of his fish, but suddenly grasped his mouth and looked for something to wash it down. But he wasn't fast enough.

Everyone started to chanting again, only this time they yelled, "Hurl, hurl, hurl!" And sure enough the guy hurled right there at the table.

Gray didn't seem to act like anything out of the ordinary had happened popping the last piece of his fish in his mouth swallowing it with a resounding gulp.

Everyone cheered happily. Some saying they always placed their bets on the Big Guy, while others whined at their loss.

Out of no where Gray's eyes met hers. It was almost as if he had zeroed in on her. His gaze captivated her, but before she could become lost in their depths she turned away. Pushing her way out of the crowd. She couldn't afford for him to recognize her. Even coming here had been dangerous, even if she looked nothing like how she did when they were on board the ship.

She made her way out of the place ready to retire to her room for the night.

She hadn't made it far when a hand clamped down on her shoulder. She was ready to knee a perv in the groin and turned to do so, but was frozen when she saw who it was who had grabbed her. Her mouth parted a little, to crane her neck upwards.

It was none other than Gray.

Kagome looked into his eyes and realized for the first time they were grey. They reminded her of smooth marbles that held a little twinkle to them.

Upon taking notice that he had not said anything she decided to speak first.

"Yes,c-can I help you" she asked hesitantly, hoping her voice wasn't recognizable.

She usually spoke gruffly to sound more manly, whereas, she could hear the breathless tone in her voice. Staring up into this man's eyes had sent her heart pitter pattering into an almost heart attack.

Gray P.O.V.

Gray wasn't sure what had happened.

One second he had been facing off against Yegor, the hearty, to a friendly competition and the next he was gazing into the bluest eyes he had ever seen and the most succulent lips ever. He was a little disappointed when she had tore her gaze from his. Watched her push her way out of the crowd as the gathered closer around him to congratulate him and thank him for getting them lots of money through their bets.

But he didn't listen.

Instead he was on his feet moving through the crowd that seemed determined to keep him there. Women threw themselves in his direction, but he paid them no mind. He truly saw no other, he only paused to pick up an drink off of the barmaid's tray gulping down a bit to wash away the fish smell, before depositing back on her tray and making his way out of the seedy tavern he sometimes visited when they came to port in Lagoona.

He looked both way, before spotting her walking away in lovely deep sea green dress that hugged her curves and accentuate them. It highlighted her small waist and nice rear.

Walking up to her he lightly touched her shoulder. Or at least he had thought it light.

He was used to taking less than virtuous women to his bed as he purposely chose to do. He could offer no commitment, for he had no desire to. He didn't bother to understand women on that level, but enjoyed mutual satisfaction between him and his partner.

When she turned around and she spoke in that airy tone, his groin clenched.

Her eyes were even more intense up close, with her heart-shaped face, her cute button nose, and those juicy lips that shined like a succulent apple ready for him to take a bite out of. He wondered how she would taste.

He was drawn back to her eyes and was held there.

The lightest shade of blue he had ever seen, he would've sworn she was blind, but knew she could see. It seemed like forever, yet just a second before she glanced downwards, keeping her gaze at chest level. He wanted to growl, tilt her head back up to look him in the eye so he might gaze upon her beauty a little while longer.

"Yes, c-can I help you," there was a slight tremble in voice.

It was then that Gray flushed, his tan skin darkening, because for once he was lost for words.

Normal P.O.V

Kagome wasn't sure what to think, when she noticed him blushing.

'Is he really blushing?' Part of her wondered why, while in her head she knew why. He found her attractive, which was understandable. She was a beautiful woman, however, she knew from hearing about his exploits from the men on deck that he was the type to fuck'em and leave'em and she wasn't exactly sure she was okay with that.

"Well, if you have nothing to say I will be off now."

She turned walking off abruptly, pausing when his voice rose, "Wait, may I know your name?" He asked so suddenly Kagome was at a loss.

Nibbling on her bottom lip she contemplated it before walking off.

"Wait please," but she didn't stop.

Instead she called over her shoulder.

"Kagome."

"What," he said, confused.

She merely laughed, "My name is Ka~go~me, do remember me Gr~ay. You never know when we may meet again."

With that she turned the corner, walking away from the first dude to make her lady part all go crazy.

Gray P.O.V.

'Kagome'

He smiled, "Ka~go~me," he said pronouncing the syllables of her name as she had. It sounded exotic and he like it.

Gray wasn't sure what this feeling was, but it made him feel alive, like a challenge set before him.

Until he realized that he would be departing tomorrow and hadn't found out where the girl stayed.

Does she live here?

Is she a traveling merchant's daughter?

Will I see her again?

She had known his name and all but said they would probably meet again.

Could he go on with just that promise, somehow he felt he could.

Eventually he returned to quarters of the ship, but his dreams were immersed with a certain raven haired, blue-eyed beauty.

Kagome P.O.V.

Kagome's control slipped as soon as she rounded the corner.

Her hair exploded in color, changing back to silver and she could only thank the kamis no one was on this road.

It took a minute to calm herself, before she changed her hair back and made her way back to her room quickly.

Once there she threw off the dress and releasing her powers that hid her elven heritage.

Silver tresses no in place, her ears curved upwards into a pointed end. She reached up undoing the clasp on her necklace and placed back inside her pouch sewn on the inside of her thick tunic.

As she laid on her mattress Kagome couldn't help reliving the moment and knew it would be awkward when she saw him in the morning.

Although he wouldn't recognize her, she would know it was him and that was enough to get her heart race. Not to mention cause fluttering in her gut. Kagome hadn't done it in a while, but decided she might as well do it while there were no prying ears from her crew.

Her hand reached down to fondle herself and worked to relieve her stress.

She came imagining it was Gray pleasuring her, instead of her sleek nimble fingers.
