Levy mumbled to herself as she read over Lucy's story. Lucy sat next to her friend on the couch, watching her intently. A few minutes later, Levy looked up with a smile. "Looks good to me so far Lu! I honestly wouldn't change anything about it."

Lucy's face lit up excitedly. "Really!? You think so?"

Levy nodded and smiled. "Mmhmm! Now let's eat some of that ice cream and watch our movie like the old times during our old college days!"

Lucy went to the kitchen and brought back the tubs of ice cream with spoons. "Couple of rebels, that's what we are!"

Levy laughed as she took her ice cream and popped the top, taking a giant scoop of ice cream. Both of the girls laughed heartedly and started their movie.

Hours went by and the girls finished watching their movie. Lucy was seeing Levy to front door when she turned around. "You sure you're ok to drive… don't want me to follow or take you home?"

Levy brushed her off with the wave of her hand. "Lu, you worry too much. I said I was fine. I'll send a text to you when I get home." Levy took a few steps out of the door when she turned and called out to Lucy. "Hey you think you can watch Lily tomorrow night after work?"

Lucy smiled and nodded towards her friend. "Sure can. You and Gajeel doing something fun tomorrow night?"

Levy shrugged her shoulders. "Just going to dinner. I'll drop her off before you close down the shop, ok?"

"Sounds good! Don't forget to text me!" Lucy called back as she waved her hand goodbye.

Levy returned the wave with her own and skipped over to her car. Lucy closed the door and picked up her phone from the couch. She made her way back to her bedroom and looked around. It felt empty and lonely. She walked over to her closet and pulled out one of Loke's shirts. She brought the fabric close to her body as she walked over to her bed. Lucy set her phone down beside her as she laid her head on her pillow. Her hands brought the shirt closer to her nose, breathing in Loke's scent. Her eyes closed halfway as she imagined he was there with her. She reached over to her phone and searched for Loke's number, hitting the call button and putting it on speaker.

She once again got his voicemail and hung up the phone, closing her eyes fully.

Levy walked through her front door and was greeted by Lily immediately. The small child threw her arms around Levy as he hugged her tightly. "Hi honey, did you have fun with your father today?"

Lily nodded and pulled her mom into the kitchen. "Daddy is making dinner again mommy, but it smells funny."

"That's caz you've never had this before Lily. You are gonna try something new tonight."

Levy smiled as she leaned in and kissed her daughter on the head. She walked over to Gajeel and hugged him tightly, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I think it smells good. But I'm probably going to pass on dinner tonight."

Gajeel raised a studded brow towards her. "You feelin' alright? Shrimp?"

"I'm fine, just not hungry. Lu and I ate a lot of ice cream."

Lily tugged on Levy's clothes lightly. "Mommy, how come I can't have ice cream before dinner?"

"Because you need to eat healthy since you're still just a child." Levy said as she looked down at her daughter. Lily stuck out her bottom lip as she began to pout. "I think I'm just going to go lie down for a while." She gave Gajeel another light kiss and headed for her room, wanting to sleep away the stomach ache.

Lucy was helping a customer when a shipment of books came into Levy's bookshop. She glanced back over her shoulder to Flare. "Hey can you get those and take them to the back?"

"Sure can Lucy." Flare said with a light smile. She signed for the new boxes and picked them up, taking them to the back storage room. Minutes later, Levy walked in with a rambunctious Lily. Levy set Lily's bag down with a sigh on the counter, moving her hair out of her face. Lucy finished up with the customer and went over to Levy with a smile.

"Rough day so far?" She asked as she nodded towards the bag. Levy looked at her and put her hands on her hips.

"She's a little wild today. Probably just excited to spend the night at your house tonight. Is Loke home too? Lil really wanted to see him again as well."

Lucy's head dipped slightly as she shifted her weight from each foot. "He left yesterday sometime… early in the morning. He hasn't returned any of my calls or texts." Her eyes came up to face Levy. "Do you think Gajeel can say something to him?"

Levy smiled weakly and put a hand on Lucy's shoulder, rubbing it gently. "I'll make sure he gets a hold of him. And thank you again for watching Lily tonight. I'm still a little under the weather but I'm starving and Gajeel is treating me to a lovely and romantic dinner. Can't pass that one down!"

Lucy laughed. "No you cannot! That sort of thing doesn't happen often anymore does it?" She joked as she pointed towards Lily who found her favorite spot in the store. Up in the giant chair with a book in her hands.

Levy smiled towards her daughter. "Yeah…but you know what… I wouldn't trade her for the world." Levy put her hand over Lily's bag. "Ok well, I've gotta get going so here's all of her things. And if you need anything, just call. We shouldn't be out too late so we can swing by early tomorrow morning."

"Levy, its fine. It's not the first time I've watched Lily for you guys." Lucy said as she picked up Lily's bag.

Levy sighed. "I know, I know… it's just… it's hard being away from her. Even if I know she's in good hands."

Lucy put turned Levy around and put her hands on each of her friends' shoulders, pushing her out towards the front door. "Levy! Just go enjoy yourself with your man. We are going to be closing in an hour so Lily shouldn't be here that long. Just call me in the morning when you come to pick her up."

Levy smiled over her shoulder at Lucy. "Alright, alright… bye Lily! We'll see you tomorrow."

Lily looked up from her book with a big smile on her face. "Bye mommy!"

Lucy waved goodbye as Levy made her way back to the car with Gajeel waiting inside of it. He waved towards Lucy as he waited for Levy to return to the car.

Lucy made her way back over to Lily and put her hands on her hips, smiling down at the small child. "You ready to hang out with your favorite aunt Lily?"

Without taking her eyes off her book she nodded her head. Lucy sighed and shook her head. She ruffled Lily's dark hair and walked over to her bag on the counter. Flare returned from the bag and noticed Lily sitting in the store now. She was kicking her feet out into the air as she sat on the chair that was ten times her size. She smiled and walked over to the small girl.

Flare leaned over and put her hands on her knees. "Is your name Lily?"

Lily turned the page of her book and tilted her head to the side lightly. "Uh huh."

Flare smiled and closed her eyes slightly. "That's such a pretty name you have."

"Thanks. Mommy named me after my cat."

"Oh is that so? Your mom is a lucky lady isn't she?" Flare asked sweetly.

Lily shrugged her shoulders as she read. "Yeah."

Flare smiled as she watched the little girl reading on the chair. She snickered to herself and went over to Lucy. "Hey Lucy, I got all of those books put away. Mind if I head out?"

Lucy smiled and held a thumbs up to Flare. "Nope. You're good to go. See you later!"

Flare grabbed her bag from behind the counter and left the empty store. Lucy sat down on the chair at the front desk and filled out paper work for Levy. She tapped her pen on the counter slowly.

Two little hands appeared on the counter in front of Lucy, followed by a dark haired, hazel eyed head with a smile over her face. Lucy glanced up from the paper work slightly, smiling back at the little girl.

"Can I help you Lily?"

"When are we going home Aunt Lu?"

"In a little bit, I just need to finish this paper work for your mom."

"Is mommy gonna have another baby soon?"

Lucy stared at the girl with a blank look on her face. "Wha… what makes you think that Lily?"

"I don't know. When I was giving mommy a hug... I um.. I could tell something was in her and um… I remember daddy telling me that they were trying to have a baby and that babies come from mommy."

Lucy was stunned at the small girl and her knowledge. "Well… um… I'm not sure if your mom is pregnant yet Lily. Maybe next time we see her we should ask." Lucy answered with a smile. "By the way… how are you able to tell something's in your mom Lily?"

Lily smiled and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know." Lily let go of the counter and ran back to the chair, giggling as she ran. She jumped into the chair and struggled to climb back up into it. Lucy shook her head lightly as she laughed. Her eyes went back to the paper work that she as working on finishing.

Lily picked up another book and began to read it while she hummed to herself. She kicked her tiny legs out back and forth as she turned the pages. Minutes later, the small girl spoke again.

"Aunt Lu… how did you fall in love with Uncle Loke?"

Lucy looked up from the papers and blinked at Lily for a moment, a confused look on her face. "Where did that question come from?"

Lily held up the book in her hands and smiled. "This book has a lady in it who is talking about falling in love with someone. Did you fall in love like she did?"

Lucy looked at the book the small girl as holding and blushed bright red. Lucy realized it was the newest romance novel she had written before her new book that just came out. She scrambled out of her chair and ran over to Lily who looked at her with a confused look over her face when Lucy snatched the novel out of her hands.

"Lily, where did you get this?!"

"I found it in the shop. The cover looked pretty and I wanted to read it." She said with a smile.

Lucy hid the book behind her back and shook a hand nervously at Lily. "Why don't you pick another book to read sweetie. This is for grown-ups… not for little kids."

Lily puffed out her cheeks in a pout and slid off her favorite chair in search for another book to read. Lucy let out a sigh and brought the book back around to the front of her. She looked it over and blushed slightly. She had written this book based on her love life with Loke, remembering over the years how they fell in love and eventually got engaged.

She smiled as she held the book close to her chest, replaying everything she wrote in her head.

'I might have even fallen in love with you the moment we met on that train. Without even realizing it… until you kissed me that night… I can still remember your lips for the first time on mine…'

Lucy subconsciously brought her fingers to her lips and brushed over them lightly.

"Aunt Lucy? Why are you blushing?" Lily asked with a toothy grin, just like her fathers.

Lucy snapped back into the present and looked down at Lily, blushing madly. "I uh…" She shook her head quickly and knelt down beside her. "Say, why don't we just head home now? I can come back tomorrow and finish those papers. You and I can make some dinner with Plue. Does that sound like fun?" Lucy said as she closed her eyes happily, smiling at the young girl.

Lily gasped as she jumped up. "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" She put her current book down and headed for the door, jumping up and down excitedly as she waited for Lucy. The celestial mage put her book on the counter and grabbed Lily's bag, making sure everything was good to go at the shop before shutting off the lights and heading out the door, locking it behind her.

Lucy was standing in front of the oven with her pink apron on, watching the food cook as she waited. Lily was holding Plue in her arm as she sat on the kitchen counter next to Lucy.

"Aunt Lu? You never answered my question in the book shop, and mommy always says it's rude to ignore questions."

Lucy smiled slightly as she put her hands on her hips. "And your mom is right about that Lily. But I don't think you should ask such personal questions like that. So how about another question?"

Lily looked up at the ceiling, deep in thought. Her head came back down as she looked at Lucy. "Is mommy going to give you and Uncle Loke a baby too one day?"

Lucy looked away from the child she was watching. 'A baby… a family… with Loke….'

Lily looked at her confused as Lucy was once again lost in thoughts. Lucy looked back at her and put on a smile. "Lily, if your mommy has babies, that's for you and your dad to keep. I hope to one day have my own child with your Uncle."

"Why can't you have one now?" She asked as she kicked her feet out.

Lucy rubbed the back of her head as she let out a laugh. "It's… complicated Lily… why are you so interested in babies and asking all these weird questions today?"

Lily held Plue tighter in her arms as excitement took or her. "Caz mommy is gonna have a baby! I know she is!"

Lucy shook her head and laughed lightly. "You know, you really are something kiddo." She moved closer to the girl and ruffled her hair, causing the small child laugh out and grin back up at Lucy.
