I have returned! Greetings all! Lot of things happening recently with school and sports. I've been swamped! Anyhow, I hope you're all ready for this chapter, and as always, enjoy my wonderful audience! Didn't forget about you guys!

"You…I did not expect you!" Bowser exclaimed in confidence. To the King, this was an opportunity to decimate one who he believed rivaled him in strength. Noticing that several other Kongs followed, Bowser smiled profusely.
"I have the chance to exterminate each of you, how fantastic that you all come to me!" Bowser explained.
Donkey Kong strutted towards Bowser, staring him down until the Kong vanished in the blink of an eye, suddenly reappearing in Bowser's field of view from his left. Even with Bowser's strengthened Giga form, the Koopa King had to admit that the raw speed of the beast was absolutely astonishing. Meanwhile, Diddy began to wildly fire peanuts in several directions, with one even hitting the Shadow Queen.
"To possess such incredible speed while maintaining that monstrous strength…we gotta deal with these guys now, or we will be slowed down long enough for the Princesses' to start a backup!" Bowser commanded, with the remainder of his army going to work as they clashed with the Kongs. Fur and bones came into contact as shattering sounds spread across the horizon.
"Let's go!" Chunky Kong bursted out, interrupting himself as he drank a strange assortment of potions made by Cranky Kong back on the island. Within the blink of an eye, Chunky Kong grew tremendously, causing Kammy to simply respond with summoning Giant Dry Bowser. The two giant forces clashed as the remainder of the forces distanced themselves in case of any possible collateral damages from the giants.
Various leaders from different Kong Kingdoms chimed in, particularly Dread, Karate, Ninja and Sumo Kong, who all went to work with tackling the herds of Goombas and grunts of Bowser's army. The action of all had distracted Donkey Kong to deliver a nasty punch that sent Bowser flying into a nearby tree.
"Buckle up guys!" Funkey Kong shouted as he rushed into the herd to search for the Shadow Queen. He had noticed that she was susceptible to damage, evident by Dixie Kong managing to land a peanut on her that caused some reaction from her. "Donkey, I don't know where the hell she is but take care of this fool for the DK Crew!"
"I can't win against Bowser. I know that, he's Giga and apparently stronger thanks to the Shadow Queen. I just gotta distract Bowser with the rest of our guys long enough to actually get the others here.
"You call yourself the King of the Koopas, yet you can't handle a simple punch from the leader of these 'putrid monkeys'?" Donkey Kong taunted, while becoming visibly intimidated with the now furious Bowser.
"This guy is scary as can be…more than usual…but I'm the only one strong enough to put on a fight. I know all about him and he doesn't know about me!" Donkey Kong thought as he rushed towards Bowser and entwined his arms around Bowser before lifting and slamming the beast. Donkey Kong was in no mood to show formalities or abide by any rules, as he began to ferociously punch at the beast repeatedly with full force.
"Off, you putrid monkey!" Bowser screamed as he slapped the Kong away from him. Standing up, Bowser rubbed his chin to feel the now developing bruise. Donkey Kong appeared quite shocked from the fact that his attack seemed to do small amounts of damage, while Bowser remained surprised at Donkey Kong's ability to inflict any damage at all.
"Prepare, monkey!" Bowser screeched as he displayed speed of his own. The two immediately ran towards another, beginning a punch fest against each other. Fists collided with fists, and fists collided with jaws, yet Bowser clearly packed a greater amount of strength per each blow. Realizing this, Donkey Kong swiftly evaded as Bowser tossed a headbutt—with Bowser only being met with a clap of Donkey Kong's hands. Shaking off the assault after a quick flinch, Bowser immediately grabbed the monkey as he slammed him into the ground. No restraint was given as Bowser flung his body on top of the leader, who yelped in pain.
Growing angry at Bowser's clear dominance, Donkey Kong retaliated with a giant punch that would send Bowser flying off the ground while losing a tooth, while taunting: "How's that for a monkey?" he questioned Bowser, he simply shook his head while grabbing his tooth and flinging it at Donkey Kong. Surprised, Donkey Kong caught the tooth, allowing Bowser enough time to retaliate and pierce Donkey Kong with his own shell. Drawing blood, he flung the hairy beast off of his shell and watched as he stumbled to get up. Small amounts of blood, a negligible amount, poured from him as he roared in fury. Donkey Kong immediately turned around and ran, as Bowser scoffed at his apparent cowardice.
The laughter didn't last long as Donkey Kong reappeared with a set of bongos, which caused Bowser to suddenly freeze. He recognized those sets of bongos from somewhere, but he simply couldn't recall from where until blasts of energy were sent out and crashed into Bowser, giving slight damage.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Bowser groaned.
Meanwhile, the Kongs fought off a portion of Bowser's army, demonstrating that numbers aren't all too simply showing strength. The Kongs exhibited marvelous chemistry with one another, which allowed them to fight evenly against the powerful forces. Dixie Kong raised Diddy Kong with her own tail, while Diddy pushed himself off with his own tail for an extended height and view as he madly fired off peanuts to anyone he could identify as an enemy. Funky Kong smashed and wailed against several Koopas while desperately searching for the Shadow Queen.
"For fuck's sake where is this bitch?" Funky Kong thought. All kinds of scenarios entered his head until he realized, Kammy Koopa was nearby.
"Hey fool, how it feel to be rocked by the DK crew!" he shouted as he leapt towards Kammy in an impressive display of athleticism. Funky's fists were meant with some sort of electric-elemented force field that repelled him.
"Again!" he shouted, this time driving enough force to break through and punch the Koopa off her broomstick. Cheering from several comrades erupted, until Funky was brutally blasted with a wave of black lightning that nearly pierced his own heart.
"Funky, take the peanuts on the ground!" Dixie alerted, throwing a few while she watched Funky Kong drink yet another one of Cranky's potions. Without any hesitation, Funky ran towards Kammy with a mouthful of peanuts, who simply spammed black lightning in every possible direction Funky could take, ignoring the collateral damage she was causing.
"Booyah!" he screamed as he punted the Koopa, sending her flying into the sky. Kammy would immediately crash back down, landing on Funky Kong and knocking him out for a few moments. Turning her head, she witnessed Chunky Kong finally shrinking, alterting her that his and Giant Dry Bowser's battle had come to a conclusion.
"I command you, incinerate our foes!"
Even Bowser suddenly stopped, along with Donkey Kong to stare at his assistant in disbelief. Never did he once believe that she would display cruelty the extent of burning the Kongs to death. Simply nodding his head, Bowser continued to chase after Donkey Kong who continuously launched energy towards him.
"Everyone, get out of there now. We've done our job!"
"Our job..?" Bowser thought, as noticed a large number of colored animals approaching the battlefield.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Kammy screamed, as the Kongs immediately exited on Donkey Kong's command.
"Not if I can help it!" Bowser shouted. "If I'm getting only one of you, I damn sure know it's going to be you!" Bowser stated as he jumped and grabbed Donkey Kong. Commanding Kammy, the leader vanished as the Kongs simply left in silence. Mere seconds passed as a roar of sorrow was emitted from the clan some distances away.
"Now, them!" Bowser yelled, as he motioned to let the machinery and dry bones fight to allow the living to rest.
"Do you see that? Donkey Kong left early, but the Yoshi have showed up to fight in their place. We'll have more than enough time before-"
"Gadd, what is it?"
The Shadow Queen reemerged, glowing in an ominous midnight-purple shade. Waving her hands in the air, a large beam of energy emitted into the sky in a familiar fashion, before arrows of dark energy reigned down upon the battlefield, with one even hitting Bowser. The herd of Yoshi scattered in an effort to evade the incoming attacks.
"You idiot! How could you be as reckless as to perform an attack like that? Why the hell would you do that? Even our own army is probably taking hits!" Bowser screeched.
"Oh silence, they'll be fine!" the squealed while laughing in horror. The arrows were completely incapacity a large portion of the Yoshi. The rest had evaded in skill, much to the dismay of the Shadow Queen.
"That was meant to put an end to this nonsense. Such a shame." Shadow Queen mumbled, before taking notice to Bowser's missing tooth.
"I increase your power and yet you still prove to be susceptible to the feeble?" Shadow Queen questioned in irritation, before silencing herself when realizing that she was talking to the creature that nearly killed her.
"I'm glad you caught yourself. Take my place and let me heal!" Bowser retaliated, while storming off to the location of the resting army. Once more, large assortments of colored dinosaurs emerged, storming and tossing eggs in her direction.
"Ugh, how disgusting!" she screamed, attempting to command the Giant Dry Bowser to do something. The Yoshi all looked at one another, and immediately rushed towards the feet of the monstrosity before repeatedly bashing their heads against the bones of the foot.
"Do something you idiot!" she screamed, before realizing that Kammy Koopa was the one responsible for commanding the beast.
"Where is she? He barely can function right now thanks to that stupid giant ape!" she thought. Kammy Koopa reemerged on cue, trying to get the beast to respond.
"I was just confirming something."
Too much time had passed however, and the herd of Yoshi attacked in unison, as they all smacked their heads once more towards the foot. Instantaneously, they watched as the bone shattered, and like blocks of jenga, one bone after the other fell in a similar pattern. It wasn't before long that the entirety of the former monstrosity was reduced to nothing but a pile of bones.
"How could this beast possibly have such an awful weak spot? That's it? One single bone leads to the demise of this creature?!" Shadow Queen thought in frustration. It seemed as if the Koopa species was simply inherently weak in the eyes of the Queen. Simply smiling, the Queen raised her hands into the air before pointing towards the direction of her colorful enemies. Heaven and hell could feel the fierce tremors that began to emanate from the soil the Queen stood on. Bowser and the rest of the army began to observe the Queen and the incoming ferocity of whatever she intended. Everyone in the distance could feel the incoming assault that she was preparing, as the vibrations simply could not be missed. Trees and their leaves rattled viciously, while any bodies of water in the area experienced their water shifting in a mesmerizing pattern. The very body of grass the Queen stood on would begin to experience small fractures as the grass near began to mysteriously become scorched and incinerated.
"This ends now!" she screeched as a giant bolt of lightning shot from her palms and immediately electrocuted the entire herd of Yoshi. In that very instance, the battle ended with not one entity willing to dispute any other possibility.
Panting, the Queen wheezed: "Hurry up before the shits disappear further! We have wasted enough time to give people options! Hurry on now!"
Everyone observing with Gadd simply gasped, noting that several Yoshi lied on the ground motionless. Looking at one another, each began to panic profusely as Bowser and the others marched on towards the castle. In mere moments, the discovery would be made and their last course of action would need to be taken.
"I honestly expected all of those Yoshi to hold them off longer. This is concerning, outcome-"
Gadd kneeled down, and began to weep profusely, shocking everyone in the room. Walking up towards the elder man, each patted their hands in condolences Everyone had gotten their emotion out of the situation except for Gadd, who had tried to remain consistent throughout the entire situation. The stress and outcome of the dire situation finally sunk in for the man, who simply didn't know how to respond. Slamming his head and fists at the ground, the professor threw his trademark glasses at the wall as he screamed in fear of what was going to occur. Reaching into his pocket, Gadd slammed his palm into a controller of sorts with a single button.
"We can't escape towards any painting. If we go in there, we will never come back out nor will we survive. We will die anyway. I have just released my swarm of robots. It's our prolonging." Gadd muttered, as the group huddled together for possibly their last embrace.
"Mario and Waluigi have fought hard", Toadsworth began, leading to immediate tears from both Daisy and Peach.
"I assume that Bowser has finished Luigi…" he continued, as Gadd sobbed at the mention of his name.
"While all of you are next!" a voice shouted from the outside Wide eyed, Toadsworth peeped his head out of a window.
"While my King may not be so smart, as he almost fell for your trap, Kammy did note that your castle was not in view. Let's look at a few things, shall we? For starters, not a single resident in the Kingdom was spotted by anyone. Not one. That was already a red flag. Then, your castle is gone? Humorous and clever, but not effective. Third of all, Kammy has grown strong enough to allow us to teleport if she knows where the location is. With my assistance, we can simply go through anywhere and everywhere. Ravaging through your precious Kingdom was nothing more than a statement. Enough with the chit chatter though, this is over."
Silence. Simply silence was through the air, as one person was waiting for the next to make a move. That person was Gadd, as he pointed towards the Queen. Looking confused, the Queen opened her mouth before she was shot with a barrage of lasers.
"Emergency battle formation, go!" he screamed, as a swarm of robots rushed towards the location where Bowser, Kammy, the Shadow Queen, and various others stood.
"R.O.B.s?!" Kammy yelped, as lasers began to be blasted in every direction near their targets. The veteran robots pushed the group back until they had enough space to suddenly merge into a single giant R.O.B.
"Gadd, my word, you designed each of these to be unique so they could all collaboratively be a part of one single entity? My word!" Toadsworth commented as the fearsome structure towered over the likes of Bowser.
"You're only prolongin-"
"We all know, stupid!" Gadd screamed, as he motioned Toadsworth to go towards the window. Absolutely everyone was confused at not only Gadd's unorthodox language, but Toadsworth and whatever plan they had.
"So this is what I am to pilot. Intruiging." Toadsworth thought as he jumped, inciting screams from Peach as the elder jumped into an open whole near the top of the head of the machine.
"All of you get going!" Toadsworth screamed, as both Gadd and Daisy grabbed Peach who continued to fight away and refuse to leave.
"Toadsworth, you will die in there! You don't have any mushrooms!" Peach screamed with tears streaming down her broken frown. Toadsworth nodded, as he turned his attention towards Bowser.
"They rigged that castle. I know that. Seems like the doing from Shadow Queen as Bowser doesn't seem aware. Knowing Bowser, he wouldn't want to kill Peach in there, so it has to be Shadow Queen. At least, if they can run, they can stay alive." Toadsworth thought.
Meanwhile, peach screamed at Gadd, angry as she realized Gadd created a machine for Toadsworth to pilot. Throwing her arms in fury, she screamed: "Why Gadd?! Why did you have to make that for Toadsworth?! Why?! Why couldn't you make it autopilot or something?! Why would you do that?!"
Gadd nodded, soaking in the screams of terror and sadness. "I said emergency formation. It wasn't supposed to be piloted unless the situation was at the risk of our lives." Gadd explained. Toadsworth notified me, as he noticed something odd about this area. The castle bricks have are red right now. Do you know what that means?" he questioned.
Daisy yelped, realizing the implications. "Waluigi told me about that. He modified the castle bricks to reflect spells and magic by color so we can see what's going on. The castle is going to be set on fire?"
"Or possibly explode, knowing the Shadow Queen." Gadd added. "That's why I had to have Toadsworth pilot it."
Toadsworth immediately clutched his hands towards several gears and knobs of the giant robot. Thinking aloud on how he was formerly one of the Kingdom's best pilots, he maneuvered the R.O.B. to immediately begin firing a barrage of beams at Bowser.
"I can cause some confusion." Gadd thought, before activating a speaker mechanism. "Bowser! I will not allow you to blow up this castle!" he screamed, before Bowser responded with a comical "that's not the plan" response.
Explaining what was going on with the color of the castle, Bowser stared at the Queen in horror. "You can't kill Peach or the others; we need them for our plan!"
The Shadow Queen rolled her eyes as she immediately deactivated her intended spell, immediately causing the castle to go towards its normal colors. During all of this, Peach, Daisy, and Gadd had all snuck out and ran towards the opposite direction. Kammy noticed this, startled, and attempting to fly over the robot. Toadsworth was having none of it, as he swatted the turtle back towards the ground.
"You will have to stop me by killing me. I will allow no other option." Toadsworth explained.
"I admit, you're a noble person." Bowser responded, while the Shadow Queen sent a barrage of shockwaves towards the robot. Still, it stood firm on the ground as Toadsworth explained: "I will kill myself in this machine. It's either, you all surrender and cease, or you will kill me. There is no middle option." He added.
Rushing forward, the R.O.B. spun ferociously as it was pelted tremendously with fire, artillery, and anything else in between. The machine would not be able to last a minute for one simple design flaw: the machine had not calculated the power increase thanks to the Shadow Queen. However, Toadsworth requested one mechanism be added. The elder man's life flashed before his eyes, as he navigated further away from the castle while his enemies still followed and surrounded him. Thoughts of all kinds of events, games, parties, sports—all of it played through his head. Resorts and vacations, living.
"I hope I did well. Thank you for everything." Toadsworth mumbled. In this moment, Peach turned around briefly to witness the giant R.O.B. be surrounded, and visibly damaged.
"He-he-can't…no…please…" Peach pleaded towards the heavens to make some miracle occur. Running and crying, Daisy wrapped her arms around Peach for a consoling hug, as Gadd stood on. Gadd knew what Toadsworth was going to do, and could not bring himself to look at what was going to happen.
"Gadd, what's going on?" Peach asked along with Daisy.
"Don't look Peach, turn around and keep running."
"Damnit, what is going on? What's happening?!"
"Daisy, turn her around."
"Don't you touch me, why can't you look over there?"
Toadsworth took a deep breath, before activating an action through a sequence of knobs and trigger pulls. The R.O.B. suddenly began to spin ferociously, seemingly out of control. Then, deep in the center of the machine, a small glow and a ball of light was emitted.
"Goodbye everyone."
The glowing ball suddenly grew, immediately eclipsing this size of the giant robot as it began to engulf the entirety of Bowser and his army. Signaling Kammy, the Shsdow Queen, and whoever else could see him through this tremendous flash, all of them immediately retreated away from the light as the majority of Bowser's army remained engulfed, with Bowser looking on in horror.
"What is that, mother?" a Luma asked to Rosalina, who had looked like an absolute wreck. Remaining sleep deprived, Rosalina had grown circles under their eyes while her hair remained an absolute mess.
"I'm not sure. Just pray with me." she responded, as several Luma huddled together, hoping for the best possible results. Unbeknownst to Rosalina, Luigi had still not arrived to the field, and Luigi was too late to save the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasa Land from Bowser's forces. Nor did she know that the Yoshi and Kongs desperately made an effort, only to fail along with Mario and Waluigi.
"Please Luigi, be safe. Be the hero."
"Gadd, what is that?" Peached asked, realizing that whatever it was, Gadd refused to look at. Staring at it for a few moments, she realized Daisy was covering her face after her eyes widened in horror. Daisy wouldn't respond to answer what was going on, while Gadd had simply refused to answer her questions.
"Turn around Peach."
"What is that?!" she demanded.
Then it hit her.
" …N-N…No! Please, no, please I beg you, Toadsworth stop please! No, no no! Toadsworth! Toadsworth!" she screeched as the light engulfed her vision of the robot and the rest of Bowser's army.
The ball of light erupted, sending an upward explosion that sent the loudest noise that anyone has ever heard. This explosion rivaled that of explosions Bowser and the Shadow Queen produced. Unlike the two, this explosion caused a far greater effect. Toadsworth sacrificed himself and his life in an effort to stop the chaos and rescue the world when the world needed heroes. Toadsworth gave everything he had to save those he loved, and those he cared for. Toadsworth had made the ultimate sacrifice.
As always, some notes! This chapter was honestly the saddest one I had to write so far, but felt it was needed to be done. Toadsworth was always one of my favorite, but I felt that one character had to go, and the only one to truly fit the bill was Toadsworth.
1.) R.O.B. and his inspiration came from Brawl. I've been hinting at this for several chapters now, and felt that it was crucial for that to lead to this moment.
2.) Funky Kong is as radical as always, along with the rest.
3.) Final smashes appear, including Diddy Kong's peanut gun spam and Donkey Kong's bongos!
4.) Cranky Kong is known for giving potions in the DK Country games.
5.) Kong Kingdom leaders are the bosses from DK 64! All four of the Boss Kongs are incorporated.
6.) I felt that giant Dry Bowser having such a weakness truly exemplified the weakness of Bowser and his plans. This was an allusion to various grand plans having glaring faults.
7.) I did have an inspiration for Toadsworth's end. Can anyone identify?
8.) Rosalina makes a brief appearance! Hint hint?
9.) Mario Party, Sunshine, sports games and several others that involved Toadsworth is involved with.
10.) There's a very subtle issue highlighted here that separates Bowser with a true villain like the Shadow Queen, highlighted with Shadow Queen planning to kill Gadd, Peach, and Daisy within the confines within their castle. Bowser's objection here shows the differences between these two and how they operate. I also had to buff up Kammy and her capabilities to make sure that she remains relevant and exhibits some personality quirks of her own.
11.) To elaborate, if you guys noticed, Kammy did disappear temporarily, which Shadow Queen questioned. This would be directly correlated towards their immediate appearance at Daisy's castle.
12.) The peanuts and their recovery come from Brawl, where Diddy could consume the gun's ammunition (peanuts), for health, which is how Funky Kong continued to fight a bit after becoming pierced.
13.) A green light of hope is to appear, very soon as the focus draws back towards him. Just a hint for you all!
14.) Gadd throwing his glasses and falling into a nervous breakdown was necessary, to truly highlight the danger and realism of the situation.
