Chapter 13

"Reid I'm working so this is gonna have to wait" I told him. I went to open the office door but he slammed his hand on it making me turn my head to look at him.

"No. We're talking now."

"Fine. Talk."

"You know this makes sense."

"No I don't. I'm not a... I'm not a succubus. My mom's human and my dad was a witch."

"How are you feeling right now?" he asked me.

"Annoyed. Irritated. Pissed off. I could think of a few other choice words too."

"How about hungry?"

"Reid this is ridiculous. I'm meant to be working" now he mentions it I feel that same weird kind of hunger I did the other night.

"Just be honest with me" he looked me in the eyes and I found myself not being able to break eye contact with him.

"Reid…" I trailed off the strange hunger becoming stronger by the second since I'd picked up on it a few minutes ago.

"I know" he pulled me to him and cupped my cheek "I know what you need."

With that he brought his head down and softly pressed his lips against my own and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt the same exchange I'd felt the other night, it was like I was taking some of Reid's energy. Okay now I think I'm going insane.

"Reid I…" I felt confused "I don't know what's happening" I confessed and he leaned his forehead against mine.

Something was happening to me I could feel it but I couldn't explain it. I couldn't even figure out what the hell was happening to me so how could I tell him what's going on when I don't understand it myself.

"You'll be fine, okay. I spent the night researching" I raised an eyebrow at him "I wanted to know exactly what's happening to you so I can help you."

"So start by telling me what the hell's going on because I really don't understand it" he went to speak but I cut him off "I don't know what's happening to me. I'm feeling things…" I tried to think of a way to explain but I couldn't.

"When do you finish" for a split second I was confused then realised I'm still meant to be working.

I looked at the clock behind Reid.

"In 10 minutes actually."

"Great. I'll wait outside in the car for you" he kissed my head and we both went back out the gym.

I spent the last 10 minutes of work trying to work out what was going on with me and comparing it with that passage in the book. I didn't seem to be any stronger but I was feeling weird in ways. Like that hunger and last night after I'd left Reid I felt… weird. That was the only thing I could think of to describe it.

I went back to the office and grabbed my coat and bumped into John.

"You off for the day."

"Erm yeah. Unless you still need me."

"Nah. We haven't got many people booked for anything today and it's usually slow on a Friday night anyway."

"Well I'll see you Sunday."

"See ya."

I walked out and got straight in Reid's car.

A/N i know it's been a while but i've had a ton of college work then i got a job then went back to uni. this is basically just a short filler chapter because i wanted to update something. i've got like 5 essays to write for uni but if you guys review and let me know what you think i'll spend my whole day off friday writing ad upload sometime friday night. in the next chapter i'm hoping to explore Reid's theory of charlotte being a succubus more and see how charlotte reacts to that. if you guys have any tips or any hopes on an outcome you'd like let me know and i'll see if i can get it into the story some how.
