Hmm, how would you guys react to a vengeful high priest?
And... Gamiya uses his pactio for the first time.
I do not own Negima nor Ragnarok Online.

Vengeance is Not a Pretty Sight
A hand phone rang. The girl picked it up and answered.
"This is Nagase-degozaru. Oya? Baka Leader? Mm… What's wrong, Yue-dono? First, calm down-degozaru, calm down… fumu… fumu… in the mountains? Hou… fumu… in other words… a rescue is necessary-degozaru? Leader…"
She then switched off her phone.
"What happened, Kaede?" asked Mana, as she walked up with a guitar case slung over her shoulder.
"Ah, from what I can get from Yue-dono, Negi-sensei is in trouble-degozaru…" said Kaede.
Ku Fei blinked a few times in confusion before understanding what's being said. "Ah! Then, let's go rescue sensei-aru" she exclaimed.
"Hmm, I know someone who can come with us as well, Kaede," said the gunslinger, "We may need all the help we can get."
"Oh? You mean him-degozaru?" asked Kaede knowingly.
Gamiya blinked at her. "Wait… how do you know he's in trouble?" he asked, not quite believing what he's hearing.
"Kaede got a phone call from Yue," said Mana.
"Ah, Yue-dono said that her friends were… um, petrified? And that Negi-sensei may be in trouble-degozaru…" explained Kaede haltingly.
"Petrified? Don't tell me they ran into a medusa or something…" wondered the high priest in disbelief. "All right, I guess it warrants a looking into," he then said aloud. "But if I find out this was some practical joke, you three are in for it," he warned as he closed the door to change back into his high priest robe.
"Sneaking out of the inn late at night is the epitome of a middle school trip," said Ku Fei gleefully.
They were now on the train, heading to where Negi was.
"This isn't a game-degozaru," chided Kaede.
"Yeah, we may be fighting some weird stuff later on," Gamiya muttered.
"Yay, I can fight strong people-aru!" the girl exclaimed.
"What…"he thought, dumbfounded by her comment.
Soon they reached the station they needed to go to and they were all running up a path towards some sort of temple. Yue was waiting at the entrance.
"Please, everyone in the whole place had been turned to stone!" Yue said in a frightened voice, "And… I can't find Negi-sensei! Kagurazaka, Sakurazaki and Konoka are all missing too!"
"Calm down Yue-dono," Kaede said soothingly, "I'll go and help you find Negi-bouzu. "
"You do that," said the high priest, "Mana and Ku can come with me to find the other girls."
"Yes sensei!" they all said as they split up and ran into different directions.
"Are you sensing something, sensei?" asked Mana as she followed closely with Ku Fei.
"Yeah, that way. Demons. Lots of them," he merely said as they headed towards the source.
Setsuna was in dire straits. Asuna had been captured by a birdman demon. She was being checked hard by two others and now Tsukuyomi had just entered the fray.
"I've got no choice… Now is the time… I have to use that power…" she thought sadly and feeling quite desperate.
Suddenly, a shot rang out and the birdman cried out in pain while clutching his head. "Damn it! Somebody else?" it shouted before dissipating into smoke, banished.
The two demons checking her were also getting pushed back by a series of shots.
"These are spell breaker bullets," exclaimed the bigger demon, "Who are you!"
"Looks like you're having some trouble there…"said Mana as she appeared with Ku Fei, shocking Asuna and Setsuna greatly, "I'll be billing you for the help later, Setsuna!"
Ku Fei looked amazed and said, "Is that a giant monster for real-aru? Looks strong-aru!"
Mana looked around and asked, "Hey, where is Iroi-sensei? I thought he said he would join us here."
Gamiya was still hiding when the girls made their entrance. He was looking for the highest concentration of demons to pop into. Suffice to say, he found it. He rolled up his sleeves, took off his gloves and stuffed them in his pockets. He then took out his card and then teleported high above them.
"Adeat!" he said as he brought out his bracelet and slipped it on his right hand, just as he started free falling.
"Powers of Creation and Destruction, heed my call."
The bracelet shone and the metal seemed to explode outwards before wrapping around his whole forearm. Then, the silvery white gleam dulled until it was jet black.
"All right… here goes nothing," he thought as he conjured up a mass of fire around his arm. Then, he punched towards the ground that was speedily coming up to him.
That spot was engulfed in a pillar of fire and made quite a crater, throwing all the demons far back.
Gamiya grinned. "Hell, I never remembered it being this strong…"
As the smoke slowly dispersed, the high priest slowly gathered more fire into his hand. He held it up then threw it out in a backhand motion, sending out a wall of fire, knocking back the demons that came to investigate. Gamiya then ran out of the smoke and landed a punch on the first demon he saw, sending it flying as well.
"Okay, not as much power as I hoped, but I do feel faster," he thought as he tossed a burst of flame in front of him and kicking upward into a fox-like demon, which jumped at him. It got banished, dissipating into smoke.
A huge, fat demon loomed over him and roared. The high priest smirked and suddenly rushed at it with great speed, letting loose a burst of punches and kicks, finally banishing it with a flaming punch. A bird demon landed and tried to slash him with a sword, but he stepped to the side and kneed it in the gut. Grabbing its head with his left hand, he smashed the bird face down to the ground and gave it a flaming punch to the back of the head, banishing it too.
"Who's next!" he roared and taunted the demons.
Mana and the others were taken aback by the pillar of fire and the explosion that followed, as were the other demons. The demons nearest to the point of impact slowly went near, only to get burned by a ring of fire. Then, to the girl's surprise, Gamiya punched and kicked his way out, sending all the demons that came at him flying and banished. Mana just smirked and continued shooting, going for head shots.
"Wow, is that thing real!" exclaimed Ku Fei after watching the gunslinger.
"It's just an air gun," was the reply.
Suddenly, both of them got surrounded by birdmen demons."Don't get cocky you weaklings," one of them said, "You won't be able to use that gun at close range!"
All she did was drop her rifle and suddenly drew out two pistols and started shooting all the birdmen at point blank range. They were unable to react and all the demons surrounding them were banished very quickly.
Asuna was just blown out of her mind. "Why is Tatsumiya-san… was she that strong before!" she exclaimed, "Iroi-sensei too! How is he throwing fire around like that?"
"I used to exterminate monsters with her occasionally," said Setsuna, also astounded, "I think Iroi-sensei is using his pactio card…"
"Ai ya! That's Mana for you!" said Ku Fei as she admired the gunslinger's handiwork, "But, this is the first time I've seen real monsters before!"
"You can go fight the weak one's Ku," said Mana, relaxing in the reprieve.
"Ah! You're making fun of me!" retorted the martial artist, "Don't underestimate the power of four thousand years of Chinese martial arts!"
She then spun around and parried the arm of a demon that was sneaking up on her. With one smooth motion, she punched it in the gut, sending it flying back into another group of demons.
"Come on!" she shouted, "Isn't there anyone stronger-aru?"
"Don't get cocky," warned Mana, "You'll get hurt."
"Even Ku Fei is here!" exclaimed Asuna, "And she looks pretty strong too! I don't know what's going on, but it looks like we're saved!"
A roar behind her made her turn and she found herself being picked up by an eight foot tall demon with one huge horn protruding out its head.
"Lose many," it said dumbly, "Me smash you for that."
He then tossed the shrieking girl that was clutching her fan for dear life at the high priest, who was burning and banishing another demon.
"Kagurazaka-san!" shouted Setsuna as she tried to intercept the demon but was halted by Tsukuyomi.
"Now, now, senpai," she said with a cute pout as she attacked, "Please don't leave me alone."
Gamiya grunted as he punched a fox-like demon in the face with full force and fire. Suddenly, he heard someone shrieking over the din.
"Wait… does that sound like…" he wondered as he turned around and saw Asuna being catapulted his way by some demon.
Cursing, he tried to teleport but found out that he couldn't. Gritting his teeth, he elbowed another demon that reminded him of a kappa and slammed it head first to the floor as he ignited its face.
"What the hell, I can't use spells in this form?" he wondered, annoyed that it was true. He was also feeling enraged that the demons would resort to hurting his students like that to stop him. His students…
"Abeat!" he shouted, immediately returning back to normal. Shoving the card into his pocket, he started running towards the falling girl and caught her just in time.
"Are you alright, Kagurazaka?" he said, feeling his anger boiling over.
"Ah, thanks sensei… I'm sorry…" said Asuna as she blushed.
He then muttered out his spells, "Blessing... Agi Up... Impositio Manus... Kyrie Eleison…" Then he said with a sense of calm, "Don't be sorry. It is they that should be sorry."
He then slowly walked through the pack towards the tall demon, the one that threw his student. The demons around him contributed to a tense atmosphere, as they didn't know what would happen after. Even the girls and the other swordswoman paused.
With a roar, the horned demon raised its fist and brought it down on the high priest. A great ringing was heard, similar to the sounding of a bell being struck. It raised its fist and was confused as it saw the priest staring at him with a furious gaze.
"Is that all you got, demon?" he asked with a suppressed fury in his voice. "Here is my reply," he said as he raised his right fist.
"Magnum…" he started, the metal started glowing orange.
"… Break…" he finished as the fist connected with the demon's abdomen.
The demon roared in pain as its lower body flew out from under it and it collapsed to its hands and knees. Gamiya raised his left hand and held it over the demon's head.
"Bless me, for I have sinned," he said in a cold voice. He started chanting again.
"Holy Light…"
A beam of bright, white light came out from his palm and passed through the head for a second. It left behind a smoking hole that went through the head. The body collapsed to the floor, the demon dead. Only a few seconds later did the body start to dissolve into smoke.
Everyone, both demon and human, were shocked by what happened.
"Sensei…" sounded Mana.
"Ara?" was from Ku Fei.
"Sensei… did you just…" sputtered Asuna, who did not quite believe what she had just seen.
Setsuna and Tsukuyomi didn't say anything, too surprised to do anything else.
"Impossible!" a demon shouted, "You killed him before he was banished!"
Gamiya didn't reply, but just teleported to the outspoken demon and sent a Holy Light into its chest. Gurgling, it collapsed and dispersed into smoke like the other one. Gamiya looked cold, but his eyes were ablaze with anger. All the other demons were still motionless with shock.
"Come, demons… come and die…" the high priest coldly taunted, "Show me your fury."
With a roar, most of the demons charged at him with all manner of weapons. Randomly firing of Holy Light, he made a slight attempt to thin out the charging wave. The nearest one came sporting a sword, but he punched the blade and shattered it. He then punched it in the gut and tossed it at another. One other demon, which sported a helmet and some sort of club, swung its weapon at him. He teleported behind and smashed his right fist into its head, breaching the helmet, and followed with another Holy Light. The bolt of holy energies somehow went through the helm and struck the head of a shorter demon. He then grabbed the dead demon before him and threw the body at a charging group just before it dissipated.
"DIE!" the high priest declared furiously as he mowed down another demon.
Setsuna just stood there, too scared to move. Asuna was shaking next to her, just as scared. Ku Fei, on the other hand, was shaking out of excitement. She wanted to fight her teacher so measure up her own strength. Mana, was quite disturbed. She never imagined her teacher to be this powerful nor this protective over his students. If he reacted like this when a student was harmed, what would happen to him if a student actually died? She shuddered to think. She then noticed her classmate's reactions.
"Sensei, I don't think you should expose Asuna and Setsuna to this… I should stop you…" she thought as she somehow holstered her handguns. She ran towards him, her face showing her determination to end this rampage.
"Iroi-sensei! Stop!"
Gamiya was just about to unleash another Magnum Break on a hapless demon that looked like a horned cyclops, when he thought he heard someone calling him.
"No… they must all die for harming them…" he thought furiously.
Before he could punch the demon, someone held back his right hand.
"Who… Mana?" he asked in surprise, his fury suddenly dying down.
"Sensei… stop this… you are scaring… Asuna and Setsuna…" she grimaced as she talked, the skin on her hands sizzling in contact with his hand.
He hesitated for a moment, making Mana think that he would just shove her away and throw the punch anyway. But he sighed, realizing he probably did get carried away; his own skin prickled with the heat generated by the skill.
"Urgh, now I remember why I never used Magnum Break with my fist," he thought in discomfort.
"You can let go now, Mana," he said, "You better let me Heal it."
She let go and held out her hands face up. Gamiya waved his left hand over them, chanting the words. Her skin healed instantly, not leaving a trace nor burn marks.
"Thank you, sensei," she said genuinely.
Suddenly, his senses screamed at him as a huge demonic presence suddenly appeared. It wasn't as powerful as the arch demon he had fought before, maybe half powered, but it was big.
"There! Look!" shouted Asuna, pointing at a huge glowing presence forming far off. It seemed to have two heads and four arms, with two horns protruding on both faces.
"What's that…" said Setsuna. Everyone and everything stopped to look at the glowing figure.
Gamiya growled and thought, "Another demon summoning… Why the hell am I getting thrown into this sort of thing again?"
"Didn't Negi make it in time?" asked the bell girl as the demons started attacking again. She started whacking them back with her fan.
"I don't know, but we have to go help him," shouted back the swordswoman while slashing another.
Suddenly, a hail of bullets stopped the new wave.
"Go, Setsuna! Go help your cute little sensei!" shouted Mana, her handguns loose and ready.
"We'll take care of these guys-aru!" agreed Ku Fei.
"But…" the swordswoman started to protest but Mana said, "Don't worry, I'll charge you later!"
"Sorry about this…" was the reply, "Let's go Asuna-san. Iroi-sensei?"
"Yeah, I'm going…" the high priest replied, "But before that… Agi Up…"
He cast the speed spell on Mana, who seemed surprised by the gesture.
"Take care Mana," he said, "You have my trust after all." He gave her the thumbs up and then ran after the two girls.
The gunslinger smiled a genuine smile. The smile then turned to a smirk as she banished another demon.
Gamiya ran and ran. He didn't understand what had just happened. One minute, he was running after the two girls and the next they had just disappeared into thin air.
"I don't know whether it was the kid that teleported them or something else. I more than willing to bet it was the kid though…" he thought as he quickly made his way through the underbrush. He then reached a wooden bridge leading out to the middle of a lake… to where the demon was. On his side were the girls and Negi and Chamo. He quickly ran up to them and caught wind of a discussion.
"Negi-sensei, Asuna-san, I have kept a secret from you and ojou-sama," said Setsuna, "Once you've seen me in my true form… I'll have to say goodbye."
She bent over and unleashed two pristine white wings. Negi and Asuna had their mouths open in shock. Gamiya just stood there with a stern look on his face.
"This is my true form," explained Setsuna with a look of regret on her face and with tears almost forming in her eyes, "I'm a monster, just like them. Please don't misunderstand! My desire is to protect ojou-sama is real! But, I've kept this secret all this time because I was afraid ojou-sama would hate me in this ugly form! Even Miyazaki-san has more courage than me… I'm pathetic…kyau!"
She suddenly shouted in surprise and pain as Asuna suddenly slapped her on the back.
"What are you talking about, Setsuna-san," she asked with a smile, "I think they're cool!"
The swordswoman and the kid looked at her in shock. The high priest still looked on.
"Konoka's your childhood friend," the bell girl started, "And you've been watching over her from the shadows for the past two years now. What have you seen during that time? Do you think Konoka is the kind of person to hate you just for something like this? You're such an idiot."
"Sakurazaki," said Gamiya. Everyone turned to him.
"You hate me don't you, sensei…" Setsuna said, looking forlorn.
"Yes, I hate demons," he began, "But I have my own reasons. You, I don't hate. Besides…" He paused, searching for the words a moment and then said with a slight smile, "Your wings make you look like an angel, Sakurazaki. There is just no way for anyone to look at you and not think that they are meeting an angel."
Setsuna just stared at him, not knowing what to say.
"Go save your friend, Sakurazaki. You have my support," said the high priest, giving her the thumbs up.
"Go, Setsuna-san! We'll support you!" encouraged Asuna, "Right, Negi?"
"Yes!" exclaimed the kid teacher, "Hurry up and go, Setsuna-san!"
Before she can launch herself off the ground, however, Fate came walking out of the mist.
"So there you are," he said monotonously.
"Negi-sensei," started the winged swordswoman, "Thanks for trying hard… for Kono-chan!"
And she launched herself into the air.
Fate tried to lift a hand to aim at her, but Gamiya teleported over and caught it.
"Hello, Fate. I've got a bone to pick with you," he said with a smirk.
