MERRY CHRISTMAS, FELIZ NAVIDAD & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO U ALL. I just love the holIday seasons so full of festivities and cheer and the beautiful white snow on the ground. This is my most favorite time of year and it makes me feel all warm inside. *sipping hot chocolate* and my present to all of you is this special magical chapter.
Now I know there's been a lot of hum-drum action and blood in this story so far which is AWESOME! But let's just take things down for now with a nice and easy chapter, just to give you all some relief from the excitement and power that will continue on from this moment forward, I can guarantee you on to the story...
Jazmin POV
My friends and I were taking our usual walk through the wetlands of the rainforest. We were trying to find our way back to the village to see our friends their new village was great, the only part I didn't like was having to hike through swamp water to get there. But that was the least of my worries because my sisters were working my last nerve.
"I am not!" Nina screamed right next to my ears.
"Nina please!" I said already annoyed enough as it is.
"Just admit it Nina!" Trixie asks
"I won't!"
"Admit you're just jealous of me and you always have been!" Trixie smirks.
"I have no clue what you're talking about!"
Trixie smirked "Denial!"
"Oh shut up!"
"No you shut up!"
"WILL YOU BOTH ZIP IT ALREADY!" I burst outta nowhere.
"But we were just..."
"JUST SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!"
"ME?! I wasn't even saying anything" Howard said.
I let out an aggravated yelp "I swear if one of you says one more thing..." I was very on edge today and moody.
"Whoa what we do!" Nina asks seeing me so upset
"I'm not in the mood today to listen to you two and your childish little arguments!" I snapped again.
"What crawled up her backside!" Nina snickered at me.
"I think she might be close to about that time" I hear them whisper.
I rolled my eyes and just kept walking "UGH! are we there yet!" I whine going into one of my mood swings
"Finally well go on and Knock!" I demand. Howard taps before someone opens up
"Welcome please come inside" They welcomed us in and I gotta say theyre new digs were very lovely with all the fliral and lace they made use of. Felt like a lovely little home and best of all secret.
"Oh I love what you've done with this place Lorca so comfy and modern"
Lorca smiled "Thanks I try!"
I felt a tap on my shoulder Tsumi was trying to get my attention. "Hey Tsumi!"
"Jazmin I just wanted to give you this. A little present for the baby!" She hands me a little bag wrapped in pink ribbon. I slide off the ribbon, inside was a little pair of baby bootie shoes made of soft fabric and beaded with green beads.
"Oh thank you Tsumi!"
"I know they aren't as fancy as you're use to!"
"I love them They're perfect for the baby!" I hug her setting them down on the table.
Hilgo walked from the other room with a large bird resting on his shoulders.
"Hey everyone"
He gave me weird looks "What's with the bird?"
"That's Argons pet Falcon!" Tsumi sighed.
"I just took him from his cage to stretch his wings!" Hilgo smiled as the bird jumped from his shouldrr and flapped around our heads. My sisters and I screamed and ducked.
"Relax he's tamed!" Arnook smiled as it landed on his crown hat.
"Its so beautiful looking!" I smiled eating a celery stalk.
"You know like all animals birds can sense danger!"
Just then the bird began squeaking and freaking out. Flapping hard and flying all in circles with terrible sqwaks and cries.
"Aaah do something about that crazy bird!" I screamed terrified.
Hilgo tried catching it "I don't know why its freaking out so much!"
"Well its terrifying! " Nina shouts covering me.
"And its making a mess of things!" Lorca complains as it knocks things over.
"Take that thing in the other room!" Tsumi scream.
Hilgo nods "of course!" He chased the bird into the next room as we relaxed now.
"What was all that for?"
"He only freaks out like that in a sense of danger!" Arnook says fixing his crown.
"Danger? What danger!"
"Unless its you know who again?" I hiss.
"Nah nothing like that. Maybe just a false alarm" Trixie says.
"Aaah!" I hold my stomach feeling terrible rumble.
"Jazz?"
I hold my hand uptrying to take a breath from the pain.
"The baby kicked. Hard...don't worry about it!" I said taking a sip of tea to calm down.
Nina held my hand and rubs my tummy feeling the kicking too. I knew she was as concerned for me as I was. I close my eyes trying to relax the pain.
"That sounded pretty bad. Maybe labor Is rIght around the corner?"
"Not likely its been nine months but I still have a while to prepare! Ouch!" There was a harder kick that time.
"Sis maybe you should..."
The ground began to rumble and the room began toshiver and shake. The hard vibration knocked down trees from their roots and cracked up the ground.
"What's happening? "
"Earthquake? "
"Not likely on an island like this one!"
The room became inexplicably dark. Black plums of smoke covereed the sky and the birds began to flap their mighty wing away squaking an honking.
"What's that sound?" I feared.
The door burst open and Luther and Argon rushed inside. "Boys!"
"We have a major situation!" They warned us.
We all looked outside the whole vilage was stricken with fear and panic. Everyone was running frantically shouting and bumping one another.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF ALL THIS!?"
"THAT!" Everyone points up from where we stood, we could see where all the smoke and rumbling was coming from.
"VOLCANO!" Argon screamed. I looked out the window and we could see black some in the air and the sounds of people screaming.
"We need to evacuate now!"
Trixie taps Howards shoulders "Howard our base is built within the volcano"
"Nothing we can do now we just have to hope it survives"
"What if it doesn't, we can't find another place we'll have to leave the island"
"But then those other snobs will win that's so not happening" Nina protest but Howard puts his foot down.
"We won't be going anywhere we came here and we're staying here, we just have to hope the base holds out. I'll radio down them and tell the men to prepare for anything"
Howard radios back to base "This is an emergency all agents must evacuate immediately. This is not a drill! GET. OUT. NOW!"
The transmission returned back to us "We're on it already sir we have cleared the area as we speak!"
"Head to safer grounds and remain calm and alert!".
"Arnook we need to evacuate the area" Lorca says.
"Why?"
"Last time that Volcano erupted long before you all came here if was a catastrophe...an apocalypse on the land, if that Volcano now is anything like it was then were all in grave danger"
"Argon,Lunther, Hidalgo send out word of immediate evacuation as quick as you can"
"On it Dad!" They took off trying to evacuate everyone.
"We need to get out of here?"
"Where do we go?" Trixie asked "Obviously not base grounds"
"No sweat some of our planes are still standing by the beach a safe perimeter away from the Volcano eruption"
"And you expect me to walk there on foot" I raise an eyebrow.
"Or stay here and burn, you're call" Nina smirked at her.
Therumble came again. The smoke was rising and now I could see steam and bits of bubbling lava reach the volcano top.
"That Volcanoes about to erupt soon!"
"This simply couldn't get any worse could it?!" but it just had to get worse...
"Aaahhh!" I screamed in pain.
"No worries jazmin we'll all be okay!" Trixie said to me
"No it's not that it's...AAHHH!" I screamed again in terrible pain.
"Jazmin what is it?" Nina said holding me.
I felt something wet on me and hunched over in pain again "Oh God!"
"What is it?!" Trixie and Nina asked.
"THE BABY'S COMING!" I screamed and fell back in pain again.
"WHAT!?" My sisters both crowded over me. I clung my tummy feeling my underpants get wet.
"My water just broke! It's coming now!" I felt backwards getting terrible headstroke.
"OMG, OMG, OMG!" Nina bite her nails panicked. "Ok remain calmthisisallgonnabeokiedokiaslongaswedonotpanicwhatsoever!" She went on rambling.
I give her weird spastic looks with sweat running down my head "Why are you freaking out?! I'm the one who should be panic stricken?!"
"I'm nervous and happy for you! I'm getting a new niece/nephew!" She smiled and I smile too feeling happy yet in pain.
Howard rushes towards us"Girls we gotta move now!"
I gave hIm a glare whIle pantIng"I cannot go anywhere!"
"Why not?!"
Trixie gave him a nervous grin. "Babe we have a issue t o deal with!"
"What?"
"I'm being blessed with experiencing the painful miracle of motherhood!" I say with bitter sarcasm but a bit of truth too
"Jazzyin labors!"
He gasped "What now, can't you hold it in or something!" Howard said and we all looked to him with anger.
"Oh God it hurts so much!" I said crying aloud.
Trixie and Nina pulled me into their arms "Come on we have to get you out of here!"
"There's a hospital down the road you could take her too" Lorca said.
"There's no time for that the lava's going to be here soon and destroy everything we have to leave now!"
"But what about me!" I said starting to feel another contraction again.
"We have to get her back to the plane!" Nina said taking me away.
"We'll come with you!" Argon said.
"No I need you all here to help me evacuate everyone, the agents can take jazmin back to safety!" Arnook said.
"We'll come back to help you as soon as we can!" Howard said.
"No need just get going, we'll all be fine!" Lorca said smiling, he came to me and patted my head "Good luck jazmin!" She whispered to me, I smiled and then screamed when I felt another painful movement.
"Alright everyone let's move out!"
"Spoken like a true Agent!" Trixie said smiling
"Excuse me I'm in great pain here you might want to get moving...NOW!" I screamed.
They set me down on a small little leaf and then carried me all the way from the little village to the plane where I was to be safe. But there was one obstacle in our way.
"LAVA!" Trixie screamed. The whole road was covered in hot lava and the volcano erupted again and this time giant lava rocks came shooting down nearly crushing and burning us all.
"We need to get to higher ground now!" Nina said.
"Over there!" Trixie pointed to a small hill off to the side it was a little steep but it climbed up to a higher level where the lava wasn't reaching...at least not yet.
We ran right through a thick jumble of trees and then around a twisted rugged terrain and right over a Cliffside and down below we could see our plane in plain view. "We have to get down there fast!" Howard said.
"Jazmin are you in the mood to go sledding down this hill!" Trixie said.
"I can hold it out!" I said breathing hard and steady. We all piled on the leaf I was laying on with me in the middle and Trixie pushed us off. It was bumpy and uncomfortable when your about to give birth but I was tough and sucked it up as best I could. We came to the bottom of the cliff slope and Howards forced us to a stop. Trixie and Nina carried me into the plane and set me down on a metal table as I started holding my stomach and groaning.
"Oh I think I feel it coming!" I said straining in pain
"Ok Jazmin Just relax I'll take care of this!'
"You sure you can do this!" Howard asked.
"I've delivered babies with our friends before I know what I'm doing!"
There was a pounding at the door "Oh what now!" Nina said.
The door burst open and a few of our agents came busting in some were at the door shooting their weapons. "General the enemies are attacking!"
"What's how'd they find us!" Nina asked.
"I don't know but they're out there and more are coming!" The agents said. There was a zapping and the plane rocked and shook they were going to destroy the plane pretty soon with me and the baby in it.
"Girls stay here I have to go out there and handle this!" General Howard said grabbing a weapon from the secret stash and jumping out with the rest of the agents.
"Do you think he needs help!" Trixie said concerned.
"No he'll be fine" Nina said to her.
"In the meantime I need help! AAAHHH!"
"Alright Jazmin how far are the contractions!"
"Not too far anymore, I think there over with...AAAAHHH! Yes there done with it's happening now!" I screamed resting in pain.
"Okay just wait and we'll see if..."
"Howie!" Trixie said racing to him. He groaned and stood upright. "Are you alright!?"
"Mostly!"
"What's happening out there!?" I asked.
"Large ambush, General Conrad and his friends are getting rough...I have to get back out there!" He said standing but then he fell back into Trixie's arms groaning.
I looked down and saw he had been shot in the side a bit. "You're hurt!" Trixie said stroking his head.
"I'm fine I need to get back out there!" He said trying to stand you but we could see he was still in pain, but it wasn't as bad as mine I'll tell you that much.
"You can't you need to stay here!" Trixie said pushing him back down
"But who's going to lead this battle!" Howard said standing up.
"I will!" Trixie said bravely
"Trixie!" Nina said.
"No I know what I'm doing I can lead this battle and I will!" She said.
"Sis I need you here, I need you both here!" I said breathing again.
"Nina you and Howard take care of her until I get back, don't let anything happen to her!" Trixie said before going out into battle.
"Trixie...Uh Trixie! Howard asked but she was already gone. He sighed and then turned back to us as I was enduring slight pain. "Well girls guess I'm here now!" He said nervously.
"Howard get over here!" Nina said rushing back to me and grasping my hand.
Howard slowly walked over here. "Hey jazmin how you feeling!"
"I'm in labor and in terrible pain...HOW DO YOU THINK I'M DOING!" I snapped, that happens when I'm in pain.
"Well!" He said all sassy like.
"Stop it you two, we need to focus!" Nina said calmly.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Nothing yet but when the time comes You need to be ready" Nina instructed. She took my hand and rubbed it "Okay Jazmin how far are the contractions!"
"Not too far now. I'll be on my last one pretty soon!" I said straining.
"AAaahhh! Ok I think that was my last one!"
"Oh then it should be happening soon!"
"What?" Howard asked.
"The movement and then it's onto delivering" Nina said grasping my hand.
"Then what?" Howard asks us.
"Well when that happens Howard I need you too..." Then she was interrupted when the door barged open and the plane became flooded with enemy agents.
"HANDS IN THE AIR!" One of them screamed as they all pointed their guns at us.
"AAAAhhhhh!" I screamed because of the pain I was enduring and because the plane was filled with enemy spies trying to kill us. That's just what I needed trouble with the enemy when I was delivering a child, how could it get any worse.
"Off the plane now!" He ordered as they moved closer to us.
Nina and Howard blocked me and I grabbed Nina's hand trembling with terror, Nina looked at me with concern and then turned around. "Howard stale them while I get jasmine somewhere safe!" Nina instructs, Howard looks behind him and breaks a glass case with his fists and then pulls out 2 broad thick duel swords, used for just this type of situation.
"GET BACK, BACK I SAY!" Howard said with anger swinging the swords around as they backed away from him. Nina took me and wheeled me to the back of the plane and drew the curtains and placed me in a back room.
"Nina I'm scared!" I said sweating and trembling and clenching the pain.
Nina bent down and held my hand. "It's alright sis I'll protect you!" She said rubbing my head.
"NINA!" I screamed.
Nina blocked their reach of me "DON'T TOUCH HER!" Nina screamed as she pulled out a gun from stuck in her boots.
"GET HER!" One shouted as 2 of them grabbed Nina and yanked her away from me and out to beat on her, of course Nina being herself she fought back pretty quickly.
"Now what do we do with this one?" He asked looking at me.
"I saw we finish her off!" The other said pointing the laser to my head.
The other agent slapped his hand down and sneered "NO! you idiot! just get her! General Conrad said he has some planned esp. for the pregnant one!" He smirked at me badly as they both approached me
"Stay away from me!" I warn them and they laugh.
"What are you going to do? You're weak!"
"I'll show you weak!" I shout puling out a knife from my sleeves and slashing it at the closet one, it cut a gash right in his neck and her dropped down instantly and died.
"You're next!" I threaten the other one, who glares hard.
He cracks his fists at me "Do your worst!" He said laughing at me. With all my might I flung the knife hard and it stabbed him right in-between the eyes, shot right through the back of his head and stabbed into the wall, but by then he dropped to the for and he went down, DOWN FOR GOOD!
"Don't mess with me!" I sneered to their dead corpses, but then yelped as another wav of pain came over me.
I looked up and saw someone come back I with me. "Jazmin you're ok!"
"I am and so are you!" I said holding her.
"Where are those guys who were in here?" She asked looking around
"You're standing on them!" I smiled.
Nina looked down and she saw their bodies lying there "WHOA!" She gasped jumping back.
"Jazmin did you do this?"
I smirked "Guilty as charged!" I giggled afterwards
"I'm impressed!" She smirked back at me with a nod.
"I may be pregnant but I still know how to kick some a-AAAHHH!" I screamed and held my stomach again.
"Jazmin what's wrong sis!" Nina said holding my hands.
"Oh God I think this is it!" I said clenching my fists into tight balls in pain.
She grabbed my hand and patted my head. "Howard get here we need you!" She shouted but he was nowhere to be found. "Oh where Is that fool!" She snapped.
We turned back towards the plane as we saw Howard finishing off the last of the agents who all scrambled and ran off the plane like the cowards they were. "Yeah That's right suckers, Can't stop me!" He said dancing around like an idiot.
"HEY!" I screamed at him as Nina wheeled me back out. "Stop gloating and get over here we've got one more mission to resolve, delivering this child!" Nina aid as Howard met us halfway.
He slowly looked down at me as I was breathing and turning bright red from pain "So Jazmin...How are things holding up?' He asked nervously rubbing his neck.
I was breathing in and out at a rapid pace. "This baby...is happening now!" I grit through my teeth still trying to bear the pain.
Nina wiped a cold cloth over my head to sooth me and rubbed my tummy too "Now Howard I need you to look under Jasmine's skirt and feel around under there!"
Howard looked and me funny and grinned nervously "Hey I like Jazmin but I'm not into her that way!" He said.
We both shot him looks "She means check to see if the baby's there, Nitwit!" I screamed at him.
His eyes went wide "You want me to look at her..." Howard went fidgeting back and forth to us. "Oh no I can't!"
"Why not?!"
"I can't look down there it's disgusting!" He cringed
"It's not disgusting, it's a baby!" Nina rolled her eyes a bit.
"But the way they come out is disgusting!" He cringed deeply.
"Look will you just do this please!"
"You're a girl you do it!" He argued
"SOMEBODY BETTER DO IT!" I screamed to them both and then clenched again
"Nina!" Howard argued.
"Howard!" Nina snapped back.
"AAHH! OH god I can feel it coming...So painful!" I cried kicking and twisting Nina had to hold my shoulders to get me to calm down
"Alright I'll look!" Howard gave in with a huff. He walked down to my feet and looked at me nervously, he reached for my skirt and lifted it up nice and slowly just barely looking at me, he had his eyes closed and then one by one opened them and then bent down to look under my skirt to see what was there.
"Do you see anything?" I asked as I kept breathing and pushing in and out.
"OH MY GOD!" I heard him scream and then he turned a sick pale green and with a thud passed out on the floor.
"Howard!?" We both screamed at him, but he was out-cold. Nina walked over there and jerked him up and slapped him hard as he regained consciousness.
"Huh, what the..." He said reacting crazily.
She grabbed him and puled him closer to her face "Howard don't faint on us now you have to deliver this baby!"
Howard pushed back on her a little and glared "Oh no I'm not looking back down there that's repulsive!" He refused and then cringed.
"Well you have to because you are going to catch it!" She said with fire in her eyes.
"Uh! Okay!" Howard said nervously, Nina let him drop back on the ground to pull himself up as she made her way back over to me.
"What's am I going to do?" I said sweating and breathing heavily as I felt another wave of pain happen that caused me to push the baby more.
"Don't worry sis Howard's going to take care of this right Howard?" Nina grinned, but Howard didn't answer, I looked over but he was not in sight anymore
"Howard!" Nina asked looking around. "Where'd he go this time?" I snapped and then pushed again.
"Over here girls!" I heard his voice. I looked over to the plane and Howard was sin the distance holding out a large butterfly net in his grips. He smiled and waved at us. "Hey girls!" He called out.
Me and Nina gave him weird looks "What are you doing over there!?' Nina glared still wiping me with a cold towel.
"I told you I'm not going anywhere near Jazmin's...Private area until that kid is out of there!" He announced.
"But you have to catch it!" I said feeling another pain come on.
"And I will..." He states leaning the net out as close to me as he can. "Now Jazmin when you feel it coming out just give it all you've got and I'll catch it in the next" He explained
I sit up and glare at him "What do you mean, I'm not going to shoot it to you!" I said panting in and out hard as Nina settled me back down.
"Sure you can, it's like a slingshot just pull back and let it fly!" He joked.
"HOWARD!" We both screamed at him angrily. He rolled his eyes, dropped the net and stood up and walked back over to us.
"I'm sorry girls...But Nina why can't you just deliver it!"
"She has to comfort me!" I snap at him as Nina held my hand.
"Oh I could do that for you!"
"Okay then fine you come up here and I'll deliver the baby!" Nina ordered as they switched places.
Howard came up to me and Nina went down to my legs and looked under my clothes. "Oh looks like it's crowing. Get ready to push sis!" She ordered me reaching her hands under my clothes.
Howard came over and looked at me with a blank face "So what do I do now?" He asked looking to me.
"Just take my hand!" I said as he took my hand softly.
There was a move inside of me that sent pain all around "Oh I feel it again!" I shout feeling another pain as the baby moved it's way out again.
"Okay sis push, push hard!" Nina said and I gave it all I had.
"AAAHHH!" I screamed as well as Howard did when I tightened my grip on his hand nearly squeezing it till the veins were about to pop. "Okay sis relax!" Nina said and I loosened up everything. Howard immediately snatched his hand away.
He looked like he was about to cry under all that pressure I caused him, I looked up to him with tears in my eyes as he smiled under the pain of his hand "Strong grip!" He said grinning while cracking his fist.
"Howard you need to deliver this baby and I comfort Jazmin!'
"Fine I'll do it!" He said going back to their regular positions. Nina came back and rubbed my head softly "You'll be alright sis!" he whispered to me.
"Now Howard take a look and tell me what you see!" Nina ordered.
Bbbbbrrrriiinnnggg
"Oh now what?" I scream.
"Phone I'll get it!" howard walks off.
"HOWARD!"
"SERIOUSLY!" I snap stIll breathIng In and out.
Nina takes my handsmiling "It'll be alright. You're gonna get thru this!"
I smiled at her when Howard came back on the phone.
"Jazmin it's for you!" He holds the phone to me.
I give him a glare "I can't answer that now!"
"It's your husband!" He holds the phone to my ear while I did heavy breathing.
"Jazmin just called to tell you that...
"BENNY I CAN'T TALK RIGHT NOW DON'T CALL HERE AGAIN!" I tossed the phone out the window to not be bothered again.
"YOU!" I point to Howard "GET DOWN THERE AND GET THIS THING OUT OF ME BEFORE I MURDER YOU!"
"Okay take it easy I'm going!" He eased his way down there in total fear of me and he should be in fear.
Howard looked at my body and us feeling very weak and wobbly right now then he grew a serious face and breathed in "I can do this!" He said and then took my skirt, lifted it up and looked down at me.
"I don't see a baby, but I do see something pointy and round!" He described it.
"That's the hat! Push, Push!" Nina yelled at me.
"I am pushing it wont go back in!" Howard said as he was pushing the baby, instead of pulling.
"No! Jazmin push, Howard you pull, slowly!" Nina explained. I held her hand as tight as I could as I gave the biggest most painful push I could.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" I screamed into the heavens as a tremendous amount of pain feels like it had just escaped my body. I let out a gasp afterwards and then pass out in my sisters arms.
I felt her rub on my face and hum. "You did it sis, good work!" She said brushing my face with a cool towel, while I regained consciousness.
"So weak!" I whispered feeling tired and weak from all the pain.
"Just relax you'll be fine!" Nina whispered to me. Labor was no joke it was entirely painful but it was all worth it because I had given birth to my new baby son or daughter
"Howard how's the baby!?" Nina asked rubbing a cold towel over my head.
"Oh my goodness!" I hear Howard gasp as me and Nina look at him with a shocked face. "Jazmin you're baby it's...it's!"
Oh no! Did something happen to it. "What, what's wrong!" I asked fearing the worst.
"It's...it's!" Howard went on to stutter with again,
"WHAT!" Me and Nina screamed not wanting to take the suspense anymore
Then he lifted up a small porcelain blob that started squirming in his arms and crying. He looked up and then back to the baby and smiled "It's a beautiful baby girl!" He said almost crying himself.
Me and Nina gasped "Oh a girl! I had a baby girl!" I said smiling at Nina.
Nina left my side and then went to Howard's to see my baby girl but when she looked at it she was a little surprised. "Howard what is that?!" Nina asked pointing to my baby.
"I have no idea is that suppose to be there for a girl?!' He asked Nina. "Maybe we should cut it off!" He suggests.
"Uhm...actually Howard that's the..!" Nina tried to explain but he cut her off.
"No problem I'll cut it!" He said grabbing scissors. I got scared and Nina got mad.
"Give me those!" Nina said snatching them away "That's it's...private area...it's a boy not a girl!" Nina corrected him.
I gasped even happier. "A boy! I have another son!" I smiled, Benny will love that when I tell him.
"Here Jazmin!" Howard said handing him to me.
My son was so cute, He had a nice curved red hat like mine, his hair was little tuffs of midnight black strands that were wavy like mine, he had benny's face shape with my nose mouth and beige skin color, benny's eyebrows, my lips, benny's eye shape but his eye color was yet to be seen. I looked down at him almost crying with happiness, my son, my precious little baby boy.
Nina came up behind me and looked at my new son "He's adorable!" She whispered holding my shoulders.
"I know he's so handsome, Just like his father!" I sighed rubbing his small pudgy cheeks.
Howard walked over to my other side and looked down at me, then down to the bundle quietly sleeping in my arms "Cute baby!" He smiled and I smiled back.
"Howard thank you so much for helping me!" I said kissing his cheek in appreciation.
"You're welcome!" He blushed.
That's was when we heard a banging on the door and the handle jiggle. I feared it was someone trying to break in again, I held my son tightly and Nina stood tall in front of me. Howard grabbed a weapon just in case and made his way over to the door and slowly opened it. He was about to attack until he saw the face and then let her back on.
"Hey everyone!" She smiled.
"TRIXIE!" We all smiled that she was ok, but she was dirty and sweaty now and her hair looked like it was a bit singed at the ends.
"How was the battle?" Howard asked wrapping his hands around her.
She wiped her forehead a little and brushed her hair back "We drove them away, Once again we are victorious!" She announced and they both shared a kiss.
She came over to me with a smile and then gasped when she saw my newborn son, her and Nina's new nephew, cradled in my grip. "Oh Jazmin...he's so handsome!" Trixie said crying. "I'm so proud of you!"
"So am I!" I cried kissing his cheek again.
"I just can't believe I have another nephew!" Nina said crying with us. "Guess this mean another agent in our family?"
I smiled and nod "I guess it does!"
There was another Knock at the door as Howard opened it up once more and Chief Arnook and the whole family came walking in with smiles.
"Guys glad to see you're all okay!' Hidalgo smiled.
"Same toy you guys!" Trixie smiled back. "What happened we though you were all evacuating from the volcano?"
"We were but than it just stopped!" Arnook tells us.
"Really just like that!" Nina asked.
"It was insane firth there was lava and smoke and certain death and then the next thing we know POOF! Everything went away like nothing had ever even happened!" Argon said getting al hyper from the action.
"Yes it was quite an unusual outcome but in the best way possible...Like a sudden miracle just brought back the peace around here!" Lorca said all spiritual like.
Me and my sisters looked to each other and then down to my arms and chuckled "I think I know what that sudden miracle was...the miracle of new life!" I said kissing my infant son.
My friends gather around me with loving smiles all admiring my son as much as I was. "He's such a handsome baby...it's a boy right?" Hidalgo asked, I nod yes.
"He's so cute. What's his name?" Tsumi asked.
"Oh can I pick I have a cute name for him!" Nina suggests.
I shake my head "No! Me and benny had already decided on a name if it was a boy, his name..is mac!" I tell them.
"Mac?" They all asked.
"Short for Machiavelli...Machiavelli Joshua Bluebury!" I said to his full name.
"Adorable I love it!" Trixie said hugging me softly.
"You know he should be called Vulcan!" Arnook said
"Vulcan!?" I asked questionably.
He nodded "Because he was born on a volcano island and his birth stopped a whole island from being destroyed by its eruptions!" He explained.
"Vulcan, I like it has a nice ring to it"! I smirked. "My little Vulcan!" I said kissing his face. He started to squirm in my arms and then he opened his eyes to show a deep mango orange color like mine. I gasped.
"He's got your eyes!" Nina smiled. "He's got everything about you"
At that moment I felt the sudden urge to cry my eyes out as tears poured down my face in joyful bliss.
"Sis you're crying?"
"Because I never thought I would love someone as much as I do right now. It's only been a few seconds and I can't imagine my life without this sweet little face in it. He's like my little precious miracle" I hold him close to me and starts to giggle and yawns a bit.
"I think he likes you already sis"
"I love you so much Vulcan I promise I'll never ever let anything happen to you" I whispered he smiled as if eh understood what I was saying to him.
"Benny is going to love seeing you when we return home!" I cried kissing him on his soft head, Machiavelli 'Vulcan' Joshua Bluebury was truly a miracle.
How sweet is it to just read chapters about babies? I KNOW SO CUTE AND ADIORABLE RIGHT! I just love stuff like that but you all might want to hold onto the cute baby-ness for as long as you can next time you see me there will be even more blood and hell-raising drama for you all to last for lifetimes.
