Riku kept running and running, having no idea where he was, but he needed to get out of there now that he's free. As he was running he saw the area where sora lived and it was as how he expected to be, everything was so different. Rundown and old, like it wasn't much..

He entered the forest running for about twenty-five minutes before he stopped, panting and huffing. He was extremely tired and very weak since he hasn't eaten much like he was supposed too. He was also dehydrated as well. Sooner or later his body is going to give up on him.

But he wouldn't have that, he needs to get home to his life. He's free, he has too. And he is close to his destination. Going back to Radiant Garden.

When he catched his breath, he ran again this time not stopping at all. He kept going and going picking up the pace faster than before in the forest, getting even more tired. After forty minutes, he couldn't do it anymore. His body started slowing down.

He looked around and realized where he was. He was in the park where he used to go, he was finally here. He saw people around who looked at him odd. Probably because he was running like a crazy maniac.

As he was about to run again he stopped, he was feeling whoozy and dizzy, seeing blurr everywhere. His vision and strengh leaving him, he falls back hitting the ground going slowly into unconsciousness. Few people ran to him to see if he's alright, while others called the ambalence to get him rushed into the hospital.

Riku was trying very hard to keep his eyes open, but he couldn't and his vision wasn't helping at all. He was seeing stars and yellow. Eyes closing and opening, seeing black. And for a split second he saw sora, smiling at him.

"Sora.." he said then he blacked out completely.

...beep...beep...beep...beep...

Riku stirred in his sleep, the noise was annoying. He heard people talking in the background. Then he awoken alerted, looking around like a crazy person.

"Riku!" a women said worriedly, with a hoarse voice that sounded she has been crying for a while.

He blinked a couple of times, uncertain if he's hearing correct because he still was seeing groggily since he just woken up.

"Mom?"

"Yes, honey its me!" she hugged him tightly, crying.

"How long was I out?"

"Few hours, till the hospital called us to come here when they heard you were here."

Then riku realize that he was in the hospital, he was finally where he wanted to be...but why did it feel so empty.

"Riku!" other people screamed happily as they entered the room. Being his father and his two older brothers.

"Kadaj, Yazoo?" it's been a whole week that he had heard his family's voices, he never thought he would hear such a thing again.

"Your okay baby bro!" kadaj said hugging him nonstop.

"We thought we would never see you again, you just went missing, we looked everywhere for you." yazoo sobbed hugging riku as well. Which was completely different since they never were close to him and were always distant. They were only close to each other, and both were hardly ever protective of riku.

Riku was speechless, he never seen his brothers like that. He thought they never cared for him but he was wrong since they were crying and so full of joy to see him. He didn't know if he should hug back or stay still. But neither less his arms stood down hanging uncertain what to do.

Suddenly his father sephiroth spoke up. "I'm glad your safe son." his voice was calm but his tone was full of relief.

"Where am I?" he wanted to make sure, everything was true.

"Your in the hospital. You collapsed, and when the doctor check you, you were sick. You had a infection, due to not eating much and because you were very dehydrated." his mother Paine said.

"What happened to you? We tried to find you and the kidnapper. " Sephiroth wanted to know who took his son so they can pay for the rest of there life.

"Kidnapped?" riku said softly, then his eyes widen. He was kidnapped by sora, but he didn't want anything to happened to him.

"Yes. You wouldn't leave just like that, you would have contacted us. So who was he?" his tone was slowly starting to rise with anger.

The younger teen gulped. What can he say? He didn't want the poor boy suffering in prison.

He signed. "I wasn't kidnapped. I got amnesia somehow." he lied.

"Amnesia?" all the family said.

"Yes, I still can't remember well. I was walking around the city in a park that was near a forest, when suddenly I tripped rolling down the hill entering the forest. My head got hit with a rock hard, and got unconscious. The next thing I knew I woke up in someone's house with no memories of anything, he were healing me and trying to make me remember who I was again." he lied smoothly, sounding serious. Making up everything so they wouldn't do nothing to the brunette.

"So everything was a misunderstanding! You weren't kidnapped you were just lost but now your back!" paine smiled. Happy that some crazy person didn't get him, someone just helped and protected him.

"Do you remember who he was?" sephiroth asked.

"No, not really... it's all fuzzy. But I do remember he was a kind person. As soon as I remember everything I quickly left to come back home."

"Wish we could meet him so we can thank him" she said happily, the two older brothers agreed.

"Yeah me too..." riku said sadly. Knowing that it may not be possible. At least that's what he thinks...

When sora woke up, he found his angel long gone. Not by his side anymore.

He sat up slightly, very sore from the lower body. Then he heard the chain from the shackle when he moved his leg.

Sora's eyes widen, then he pulled the blanket a little to see that the shackle was at his ankle now. He frown. Everything was a lie. But then again what did he suspect. He was going to let riku free due to making love with him but his angel didn't fully trust him.

"I knew it was too good to be true.." he said sadly having the urge to cry. He thought maybe...that maybe his angel would have felt something for him. But guessed not.

But at least he got what he wanted, to be loved by his angel at least once. Feeling the warmth and comfort...the love. He made love to him and that's the best he could asked for.

Sora sat back down, covering himself. It's no use to do anything or to get free, it was completely pointless. Tears were steaming down his face. Crying then sobbing for hours. Why couldn't he have a happy ending? Maybe this is the end...

Slowly he smiled, "I'll see you soon vanitas. Then we can be together like the good old times..." he hiccupped sadly, still crying. Thinking about riku, his only love.

Author's Note... Yay finally this chapter is done! I'm almost done with this story, few more chapters and I'm done! Hope you enjoyed this chapter. And sorry for making sephiroth's wife paine, it's just she had silver hair...and also because tifa and aerith were taken already..

And I know this was so sad, sorry about the ending...its just I couldn't imagine ending it any other way than like this, it was the right thing! What a twist! But remember I like happy endings! Unless I'm sad or angry but those are rare occasions!
