Tink sat on a rock feeling defeated, there was no way she was going to get to talk to Lord Milori, not when no one could find him. She couldn't go to Queen Clarion either because she was far too busy to take the time out of her day to explain something that happened so long ago. Ugh! Why is this so hard! Tink skipped a rock across the water and let out a sigh.

"Tink?"

The fairy looked up to see a frog in front of her.

It opened it's mouth, "Tink! Where are you?" It shut it's mouth as fast as possible. It's eyes grew wide as it opened it's mouth once more, ""Tink!" The frog let out a ribbit and leaped into the water.

"Tink!" she looked over to see Terrence approaching. :Where've you been? I haven't seen you all day! We were supposed to work on that boat thing again."

"Sorry, Terrence, I was just busy and forgot."

"You call sitting on a rock busy?"

"I've actually been all over the place."

"Why?"

"Well it's kind of hard to explain."

"I've got time, would you like some company?"

"That would be great," she said slowly. Terrence sat on the small rock next to her.

"Tink what's going on?"

"It's Vidia and Shade, and just about everyone in Pixie Hollow!"

"Well, what are you trying to do?" He didn't seem to phased by the mentioning of Shade and the fact that she was bringing it up.

"I just want to know what Shade did! He's locked up in that mountain and no one knows why! The only thing I have to go by is the portrait of Lord Milori nearly beaten to death!"

"What!"

"Lord Milori, beaten to death, that's all I have to go by, a portrait of Lord Milori nearly beaten to death."

"You lost me there."

"See, that's why it's so hard to explain."

"Well, have you tried talking to Vidia?'

"Last time I got kicked out by Dusk."

"Well, it has been a few days, right?"

"True, I guess I could try again."

Tink was on her way to Vidia's home for the second time in the past few days. She had taken Terrence's advice to go see her again. Hopefully this time Dusk wouldn't be there to get in her way. It was kind of annoying how protective he was of her.

About halfway to her house Tink heard a familiar noise. A faster flyer was nearby and they had specific wing patterns that weren't like any other. So you could tell who specifically was nearby. Tink's ears perked up when she recognized the buzzing. Vidia was back.

The purple figure zipped past quickly and Tink followed suit. She quickly lost her due to the fact that she was obviously a fast flyer, but she had a pretty good idea as to where she was going. Moments later, Tink arrived at the creek to see Vidia and all their friends crowding around her.

"I can't believe you got your memories back! I'm so happy for you!" Rosetta stated.

"What was it like, not having your memory?" Sil asked.

"It was okay, nothing too exciting happened, you all know what happened, you were there."

"Oh right."

Apparently Rosetta had set up a party in honor of Vidia's return. There was tea and cookies with the help of Zarina and the cooking fairies. It was fun, but the questions that were jumping around in Tink's head was bothering her too much to be having fun. She grabbed Vidia's arm and pulled her off to the side.

"Vidia, I need to ask you a question."

"Oh, and sorry about Dusk, he's like an overprotective big brother. I like it, but not when he's rude to my friends."

Tink was speechless, "Who are you and what have you done with Vidia!"

"I'm still Vidia, it's just after I lost my memories you were there for me all the way. It got me thinking that I should at least be nice to you, despite how annoying you can be, but I was a Tinker for a day! We switched talents, all of us. I think we've all been through enough that we can all be friends."

"Uh- Okay. Well, I just want to ask you a few questions, about Shade?"

The fast flyer's mood instantly changes. She's angry now and Tink is praying that she's not at her. Then all together Vidia's face goes expressionless. "What do you want to know?"

"Well I was told how you met him and the garden talent stuff and all that, but no one seems to know what he did to get locked up in that mountain, at least the dozens of fairies I've asked. And I thought that you of all people would be able to shed some light."

"Well, one day Shade was mad about something and we kept asking him to see what was going on, but he wouldn't tell us. I saw him set free the sprinting thistles and I tried to stop him, but it was too late. He had already set them free and they rampaged through Pixie Hollow. They attacked the fairies, including Queen Clarion. No one was majorly hurt, but what he did was unforgivable. So they banished and locked him away in the mountain."

"Really? B-" Tink stuttered as she tried to hold back tears, "But I set the thistles free too and they rampaged Pixie Hollow. No one was hurt, but I destroyed the preparations. Shouldn't I be the one locked up in there next to him?"

"Tink, no. That was all my fault, but you did fix everything."

"So, it's just not fair! I should have the same punishment as him. He was a normal fairy like you and I."

"Tink-" Vidia called out to the Tinker, but it was too late. She had leaped into the air and gone flying towards the tree.

A pit of guilt began to form in the fast flyer's stomach. She had lied to Tink, the one person who tried everything to get her memories back, and usually lying to Tink wouldn't faze her so much, but this time was different. She had never seen her so upset and since she was probably either flying home to cry, or was going straight to Queen Clarion.

Wait! When Tink tells the Queen she'll find out that I lied to her! Queen Clarion will tell her the truth and Tink'll be so mad.

Despite how annoying she sometimes found the Tinker to be, she actually enjoyed the companionship. "I have to stop Tink!" Vidia then leaped into the air.

Vidia lied to Tink and actually feels bad!

Next chapter: Will Vidia get there in time to stop her friend and comfort her with even more lies? Or will Tink finally get the answers she needs and the truth this time from the fairy who believed in her most, Queen Clarion?
