And I have a very important announcement to make. Now I am just going to assume you have read the updated title and the new summary.

And yes it is true. I am discontinuing The Fafnir Knight.

HOWEVER! This is not the end of the story believe it or not.

I will explain. I am cancelling the story in it's current form.

When I was writing chapter 14 I came across something I hadn't realized became an issue until a particular scene came up.

Afterward I had to re-read my whole story and even with the original set of rewrites, I realized that at some point I had failed my own story's set up and world building.

So basically what I am saying is this. The Fafnir Knight is going to be a rebooted under a new document. A pseudo fresh start.

Unlike Phoenix by Dewyn. In which V2 is basically a brand new story altogether.

The General story line will remain unchanged save a few minor details, but nothing drastic. (IzuOcha is still the mainship, all existing sub-plots both visible and invisble are still in effect and in the case of Eri's imprinting will also remain)

The main reason I need to start from the beginning is due to the new chapters that need to be placed among the existing chapters.
To show you what I mean, I will explain like this.

Arc I. Has Eight chapters currently with the story as is.

The new version of Arc I, I believe will be almost double (At least 4 to 6 new brand new chapters to fill in the blanks and gaps that the original rewrites just couldn't cut it) The new chapters minimum will be ranging between 4-6k words as well as streamlining the already existing chapters.

Break it down like so

The Original Chapter I is now going to be Chapter II with a brand new Chapter I. The Original chapter II is going now become chapter IV with a new third chapter and so on.

Even better Beta reader could now be on par with me from the beginning so you will also get to see just how well our efforts truly shine with the polish she provides.
This shouldn't be not be a long wait, as I already gotten started with the process and I basically am already set no only launch most of the new chapters with the newest versions of the original chapters, but still get started right where we left off at the start of the USJ Arc. (Basically 19 chapters of work that are currently being re-read and edited)

However, I cannot in good conscience help but feel like I have deceived you all with all the numbers I have received be they Favorites or Follows. Kudos and Bookmarks, reading lists, follows, and votes.
Which is another reason to hit the reset set button and truly earn my numbers properly, however I completely understand if you decide to completely unfollow me and or the story completely. I feel like you have the right to be angry at me and I am disappointed with myself.
I have finally found the writing style the fits me and I want the story that I share with all of you to best it could be, because that is what you deserve my dear readers.

Draco Knight will be going under a similar treatment but not to the same extreme as The Fafnir Knight.

The story is getting rebranded as well. The new title of the story once the new version kicks off will be.

My Hero Academia Untold: The Fafnir Knight an homage to Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: The Fafnir Knight which as many of you should know by now, help inspire the story. (I will explain why it is not a crossover in the Author's notes in the new version.)

Again I am sorry for this, and no words could ever describe how grateful I will be for those who give me another chance when the new version kicks off.
