Tiger, Tiger
After an Animagus potion gone wrong, Harry becomes a tiger and is unable to change back. Though, without the weight of the world on his shoulders, Harry enjoys his new body, until something happens to make him go back to Hogwarts in the possession of Draco Malfoy. HBP, AU, OOC.
Pairings: Harry/Draco one hundred per cent, there will be Blaise/Luna and eventually Neville/OC. Not much more romance other than this, maybe some off screen romance, I don't know, I haven't decided yet.
Warnings: there might be strong language, possible gory scenes in the future. I'll warn you though, so don't worry if you're squeamish. Probably a bit of underage drinking. Mentions of past abuse at the hands of the Dursleys. Also bashing of the Dumbles, the Ronikins, the Bookworm and the Weaselette! Possible OC as well, as of now though, I am undecided. Magically and morally grey Harry
I don't own Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling or the poem 'Tyger, Tyger' by William Blake. Also anything you might recognise from other fics on this site or another site is purely coincidental. Enjoy!

CRASH!
Remus Lupin winced into his tea as Hedwig screeched and banged against the bars of her cage, rattling the metal and the table it was on. He would have let her out to fly but Dumbledore had said not to until Harry was found again, which Remus felt was a bit harsh. He knew what it was like to be caged up when someone he loved was missing or in danger. He frowned at the irritated bird, who had shrieked even louder again. Her high pitched calls for her lost friend were grating to Remus' sensitive ears. The full moon was in two days and everything was a bit overwhelming right now. Painfully overwhelming.
Hedwig saw his wince and hooted softly in apology. Remus sighed and reached his long fingers in through the bars of the cage. The snowy owl head-butted his hand and clicked her beak.
"I miss him too Hedwig."
Remus placed his warm mug on the rickety kitchen table in his small cottage and ran a scarred hand over his weary face, looking out the window at the purple orange pink of the sky as the sun set.
"I really miss him." and if his voice cracked, well, Hedwig wouldn't tell anyone.

Hedwig looked at the lock on the silver cage she was in. The wolf man had gone to bed and she had been left in the kitchen. She clicked her beak in irritation; the wizards were so sure that their magic would find her owner that they completely overlooked the fact that she would easily find him if they only let her out of the cage. She was a post owl, born and bred to carry post from one witch or wizard to another, while finding the way using the magical signature of the person receiving the letter. She had long since memorised her friend's magic signature and knew where he was, even though it had changed slightly in the past few weeks.
She knew where he was dammit. And, if she managed to melt the lock with her glare, she could go to him.
She was considering screeching again, if only to highlight her annoyance, when the window was nudged open. Something flickered, and the window opened wider. A smooth head popped in, followed by a thin, gradually thickening, long…. really long, muddy brown- green body. The snake, for that's what it was, tasted the air with its tongue and looked over at the caged owl.
Master- where- gone- lost- owl?
The snakes head swayed form side to side as it asked Hedwig. Hedwig fluttered her wings and replied.
Master- home- safe- found- cage- snake.
The snake nosed her way over to the gilded gaudy cage, tongue flitting in and out all the while.
Cage- owl?
Key- door- hook- snake.
The snake looked around the sparsely furnished kitchen, finally seeing a glint of silver keys on a hook by the door that presumably opened to the rest of the small cottage. She was able to lift her heavy body up off the ground enough to nudge the keys off the hook and onto the floor. Getting them into her mouth and to the owl was a more difficult procedure but she managed after a few failed attempts. The white owl was just about able to get the keys into the lock using her beak and talons and, by jiggling the key and lock in turn, the cage door opened.
Where- master- lost- gone- owl?
Hedwig glided over to the still open window and back to the snake.
Follow- find- home- master- snake.

Remus woke in the morning feeling stiff and sore, achy all over, almost flu-y, some of the signs of the impending full moon. He groaned as he walked into the kitchen, shivering and yawning in the cool air. Flicking the switch on the muggle kettle he had, he reached over and shut the window that he must have left opened last night. He kept his eyes closed as he leant against the counter top, waiting for the kettle, lightly dozing in his place.
Tea bag sitting in his mug, Remus turned to greet Hedwig, and only then did he notice the open cage door and empty cage. He looked for the cage to the window that he had just closed and swore, regretting his decision to get out of bed that morning.

Draco watched the calming boy. Harry, upon hearing that there was another prophecy made in his name, had exploded. His magic had crackled and sparked around his body as his eyes glowed a rather alarming shade of green and gold. He had growled and snarled and his ears and tail, which he had learned to call back into his body, had sprung out and his claws bit into the arms of his chair. His teeth had lengthened and Snarlnok had looked genuinely afraid. Draco could honestly say that that was a first.
"Give it to me again." The hushed words had slipped out of Harry's mouth accompanied by a rumbling growl.
Snarlnok nodded and swallowed before reciting the prophecy once more.
"The one who walks on silent paws,
With the black backed dove and the white winged crow,
Shall return safely from Deaths cold jaws,
And shall to the Darkness strike the final blow."
"The one who walks away from Death,
Hunts with silver teeth,
And with them shall end the Dark one breath,
And will rule the world beneath."
Harry didn't even try to repress the snarl that made its way up his throat.
"What does any of that even mean?" he was lisping slightly, his tongue finding it hard to form words around his lengthened canines. Snarlnok swallowed and closed the lid
Snarlnok carefully closed the lid of the box, hiding the strange eggs from view.
"It means that you are going to change the world."
Fan- fucking- tastic.

Right, very sorry about the wait, but know you all know what exactly the Dragon Age Prophecy is! Excitement and whatnot. You know the drill; tell me if there are any errors, review please, and thank you to all the people who have reviewed, followed or liked this.
Although I say that I am in love with you,
I'm secretly annoyed with you
