It didn't take long for Marshall to get them to his home. After flying over some swamp lands and forests, Fionna found them slowly gliding down into a cave on the edge of a lake. When they finally flew in through the mouth of the cave, Fionna shivered. Marshall held her closer, "Cold?" Fionna nodded. It was like a bazillion degrees colder in the cave! As if she wasn't cold enough.

A small light appeared a ways off inside the cave, and soon after spotting it, Fionna realized it was a porch light. She pursed her lips, "So….. this is your home?" Marshall snickered, "Not what you thought, huh?" Fionna shook her head, "Not what I thought at all!" It was just a simple house. A regular nonvampiry house. And it was a pale blue.

Fionna raised an eyebrow. She had imagined his house much more….. evil looking. Or, at the very least, more manly. But who was she to judge. She lived in a tree as far as he knew. He set her down lightly on the ground, landing beside her with an arm wrapped around her shoulders. "Well, home sweet home. Come on in Kristal, it won't bite." He easily slipped into the air, pulling a key out when he got to the door.

Fionna looked around the cave, walking slowly towards the stairs. Stalagmites and crumbling rock was everywhere. The walls looked slightly wet, and water dripped slowly from the sharp edge of the ceiling. Fionna could spot a few bats roosting up above. She snickered, "Hey Marshall. Friends of yours?"

Marshall turned, squinting up at them, "Yep. Yo, Benni!" One of the bats moved, waving a wing. "Ay, ML, where ya been?! I see you brought a foxy mama to the party, nice bro! Very tch-tch." He winked a bright red eye, grinning. Fionna felt herself start to blush as Marshall laughed and shooed the bat off. He flew over to her, pulling her close. "Don't worry," he whispered while smirking up at his friends, "Benni's just teasing."

Fionna just blushed more, swiping her bangs out of her face with a hand, "Yeah." She climbed the stairs to the porch, stopping at the door. Marshall ushered her on, "Nah, it's unlocked already." She grabbed the knob, pushing the door in. The lights inside were out, and everything seemed draped in shadow. Fionna couldn't make anything out except a window on one of the walls and maybe a bright orange couch.

Marshall slipped inside, and a faint click of a switch was heard. He shut the door as soon as the lights flashed on. Fionna found herself in what looked like a living room, carpeted in blue. She was right about the orange couch, sitting against the wall to her left. It looked old and beat up, with some patches and stuff all over the cushions. Two candle holders sat above it on either side.

Fionna could see a bar separating the kitchen from the room. A ladder led up to a trap door in the top, leading to what she thought was the next floor. Probably where Marshall's room is, Fionna thought to herself. Then she noticed his red axe bass, plugged into an amplifier, sitting on the floor just a ways off. She smiled.

"So, what do you think? Better than your tree house I bet." Marshall smirked, spreading his arm wide. So prideful, Fionna thought snickering to herself, What would he say if he found out about me living in a castle. Fionna nodded, "It's really cool. Have you lived here your whole life?" Marshall shook his head, "I used to live with my Mom a while back, but, that was a long time ago. Well, in your years I guess." He floated up towards the kitchen, "I'll give you the grand tour!"

Fionna laughed and followed suit, poking her head through the door way in the white wash kitchen. Marshall had turned on the light and was rummaging through the fridge. "This is the amazing kitchen!" He proclaimed, his voice echoing in the fridge slightly. "Here is where I prepare my victims, and eat them." He stood back up with a bowl of strawberries. Taking one, he held the bowl out, "Help yourself, Kristal." Fionna was about to walk over to get them when he threw the bowl towards her.

She gasped, jumping forward into a dive and catching the fruits before they ended up shattered on the floor. "Good catch," Marshall said, his strawberry already a pasty white, "But I give you a 7 out of 10 for the landing." Fionna sighed, sitting up on her knees. "You could have just waited you know!" Marshall shrugged, "I know." Frowning, Fionna put the bowl on the bar table, her appetite lost.

"If you're not going to have any, then on with the tour," Marshall said cheerily, flying out through the bar. "Do you ever walk anywhere?!" Fionna called after him. "Walking is for mortals." He called back. Fionna looked around the living room, but he was nowhere to be seen. "Marshall?" Suddenly, his head popped out of the trap door in the ceiling.

"Up here Bunny!"

Fionna blushed at the nick name, rubbing her arm to try and smooth the goose bumps that had suddenly sprung up. "Uh, dude, is that your-,"

"Bedroom? Yes. Clean for once, trash taken out. You decided to come to my house on a good day Bunny." He disappeared back in the room, "Come on!" Fionna walked to the ladder, testing her weight on the first step. Seemed like it would hold, but it didn't feel as though it was used a lot.

She pulled herself up through the trap door, having to swipe her bangs out of the way multiple times. Glob, bangs were annoying! She finally stood on the next floor, dusting herself off. Marshall was hovering over his bed, smirking. "Took you long enough Kristal." Fionna waved him off, looking around the new place.

Bed, not a coffin. Closet, bathroom, a couple of candle holders and band posters on the walls, a small window with curtains drawn near his bed. The room was dark themed, but with the lights on, still didn't seem as though it belonged to an undead rock band adolescent vampire. "So, that about wraps up everything except the basketball hoop and court out back." Fionna looked back at Marshall, curious. "What's basketball?" He chuckled, "Forgot that some of you mortals don't know about it. I'll tell you about it sometime later."

He cocked an eyebrow, "But as of right now, what do you want to do?" Fionna gulped, noticing that the temperature had suddenly got from freezing to blazing hot in the room. "Uhhhh, I mean- w-we could go gaze at the stars?" Marshall floated off the bed, standing up. "We could…" he started to walk towards her. "Or we could go down stairs and you could show me a song you might have been working on?" Fionna took a step back, her mind searching for a good answer. What was he doing? Marshall shrugged, "Maybe, but…"

He stopped in front of Fionna, looking down at her with his red tinted eyes. Fionna stopped breathing. It was like the very first time she had seen him, the very first time she had heard his voice in that club. She was frozen in place. Marshall placed a hand on her waist, drawing her closer until she was pressed up against his chest. "I hope you don't think me rude for taking it up a little, since this is our first date, but," he smiled, "I don't really care."

Marshall leaned down, quickly capturing Fionna's lips with his. Her mind went numb, all thoughts of nervousness or tameness gone. He moved his other hand to the top of her back, and Fionna felt her legs leave the floor. She grabbed his jacket, holding on, and pulling herself closer. She craned her neck and closed her eyes, breathing in his intoxicating scent. His mouth still tasted like strawberries.

She suddenly felt her back contact with cool bed sheets, sending a small shiver down her spine. Marshall withdrew his hands from her back and waist only to press them on the sheets by her head, trapping her. Her mind muddled and fuzzy, Fionna peeked open an eye to look up at his smirking outline. Without saying anything else, he leaned down over her, kissing the inside of her neck.

Fionna could only try to hold back a small moan. He moved up to her jaw line, then back down to her neck and collar bone, planting kisses wherever skin showed. He kissed her again on the lips, slowly letting his tongue creep in to coyly play with hers. He was overriding her senses, making her feel things that she knew she had never felt before. She was no experienced kisser, but he was. Breathing became harder and harder, air suddenly becoming scarce. She grabbed at his jacket still, not knowing whether she had enough will power to push him away. It felt so good, too good even. She had to stop this before it got out of hand.

But the thought was soon taken straight from her mind when Marshall suddenly pushed a hand softly beneath her shirt, letting it rest on her stomach. He pulled away, biting slightly at her bottom lip, "Chill Bunny, its ok," he whispered. Fionna let her grip relax as him movements slowed, becoming deeper, softer than before. He kissed her lips almost sweetly, withdrawing his cold hand from where it had wandered to her side, to brush a strand of her hair away from her forehead. "It's ok."

It was then that Fionna finally unclouded her mind enough to realize that her hat had fallen off, and was now on the other side of the bed. And that also Marshall was almost on top of her. She felt herself start to blush, although coherent memories and feelings were not there. Yet. He was floating above her, red eyes glinting with sly mirth. "Enjoying yourself, weren't ya Kristal?"

Fionna just stared up at him, wide eyed. Then, she punched him.
