We put our plan in motion the next night. We knew that Star was interested in him so she was our best way of getting to him, not that she knew this. My favourite part of the plan was that we got to mess with Michael before turning him, I can't wait, finally a chance to put my gifts to good use.

We were on the boardwalk again, Star was off with Laddie while we got to relax before we put our plan into action, the next couple of days were going to be rough and I wanted to spend some quality time with my boys before everything got complicated.

We rolled up alongside Star and Michael, my arms involuntarily tightened around Marko's waist, anger coursing through my veins how dare she leave my little Laddie to fend for himself while she gallivanted after some mortal, the boardwalk is not safe for young children to be left alone on, half vampires or not if keeping her alive wasn't part of the plan I'd rip her limb from limb and anyway without her the future I saw would never happen.

"Where are going, Star?" the dangerous edge of David's voice sent shivers down my spine, "For a ride" She replied in that annoying voice of hers "This is Michael" I stifled my growl in the fabric of Marko's jacket, his hand rested on mine stroking soothing circles into my skin.

"Let's go" Said the human boy, reaching for her "Star?" David's silent question hung in the air, if she left with Michael then we got to kill her problem solved but if she got onto David's motorcycle I got to mess with humans mind. I wonder how a vampire turns out if you make the insane first. She looked at David before looking at Michael and moving away, sliding her arm around his throat she slipped onto the bike behind him, a smug smile sat on David's lips and I hated it. Paul laughed, shooting him a hurt look I moved to see what was happening.

"You know where Hudson's Bluff is, overlooking the point" David asked

"I can't beat your bike"

"You don't have to beat me, Michael. You just have to try and keep up"

Looking away from the exchange I snuggled my face into the curls which were draped down Marko's back "We're going for a ride" I heard Dwayne tell Laddie, pulling away from Marko slightly I looked over to them "You hold tight now you hear" I said in my best Mom voice, he nodded, I leant back into Marko, Let the games begin. Pulling away, Paul and Marko's whoops of joy filled the air mixing with the loud rumbles of the engine Relax, have fun I heard Dwayne's voice ring through my mind, leaning back, I through my head back and my arms out "Wooooo" I screamed as we turned, shooting down the stairs and onto the beach, sand flying in all directions as we whooped, cheered and laughed, Michael trailing behind.

Ducking parts of the boardwalk, I delved into Michaels mind curiosity mostly, I was roughly pulled out as we dropped back, allowing David and Michael to race, next thing we knew, David's stopped and Michaels on the ground. The three bikes stopped and we jumped off just in time to see Michael running at David "What the hell are you doing?" he shouted

"No" Stars scream was swallowed by the sound of the crashing waves as Michael punched David, shooting forward the boys pulled Michael away, moving past them, I turned David's face to mine my fingers stroking the cheek Michael had just hit "Just you!" the boys let him go "Come on! Just you!" David looked at him, his trademark smirk placed firmly on his lips. God I hate that smirk part of me want to kiss it off where the other part just wants to smack him.

"Come on, just you" Michael's voice was softer this time as he pointed at David

"How far are you willing to go, Michael?" David asked
