Team Gai were in the Hokage's office reporting the success of their mission.
"Good work" said Tsunade
"You're dismissed" she said
"Kira I want you to stay" she added
"What do you need" asked Kira
"We have a recent situation that has come up that requires your assistance" said Tsunade
"What is it" asked Kira
"There is a clan here in Konoha called the Kurama clan that has fallen on hard times" said Tsunade
"They had a Kekkei Genkai that allowed them to make their genjutsu real" she explained
"What do you mean 'make it real'" asked Kira
"If you are under a genjutsu that you are on fire, burns would appear on your body and you could die from it" explained Tsunade
Kira's eyes widen at that.
"Wow" said Kira
"No one in their clan had been born with their Kekkei Genkai for a long while until this generation" said Tsunade
She held up a picture of a young girl with long brown hair and brown eyes.
"The clan heiress Yakumo was born with their Kekkei Genkai but had a weak body" explained Tsunade
"So the Sandaime ordered Kurenai to train Yakumo in genjutsu" she continued
"Unfortunately Yakumo became possessed by an evil spirit that used her power to kill her parents" she continued
"They were forced to seal her powers away but didn't tell her why" she finished
"Let me guess, she now resents Kurenai-sensei and Konoha" said Kira sighing
"The seal has recently broken and she is now taking revenge" he said
"Yes" said Tsunade nodding her head
"How can I help" asked Kira
"The Sharingan can dispel genjutsu" said Tsunade
"So I want you to help stop Yakumo from taking her revenge" she ordered
"Yes ma'am" said Kira
He left the Hokage's office and headed towards the Kurama mansion. When he arrived he saw Team 8 along with Sakura there.
"Shino" called out Kira
"Kira" said Shino
"Hokage-sama sent you to help" he asked
"Yes" said Kira nodding his head
"My team just got back from a mission and she asked me to help" he said
"What is the current situation" he asked
"Yakumo is currently inside with Kurenai-sensei and there is a genjutsu over the door" said Shino
"He tried to get in and you can see what happened to him" he said pointing to a guy with bad third degree burns
"Wow, Hokage-sama wasn't exaggerating when she said she could make genjutsu real" said Kira looking at the guy
"We knocked out Naruto and threw him through the door so he could help" said Shino
"But we don't know how well he is doing" he added
"I will handle it now" said Kira
"What makes you think you can do anything when we couldn't" shouted Sakura
Kira just looked at her with his Sharingan active.
"Sharingan" stuttered Sakura
Kira activated his Mangekyo Sharingan and walked through the door. He saw himself walking through flames but nothing happened. "So I can see the genjutsu but not be effected by it" thought Kira
He looked through the mansion until he found the room where everyone was in. There was a genjutsu in the room that was a weird interpretation of space with Yakumo sitting in front of an easel, Kurenai floating in the air with half her body gone, and Naruto all tied up.
Kira walked into the room and said "You know, this isn't what space really looks like"
Everyone in the room turned their heads and saw Kira standing there.
"Who are you" asked Yakumo
"My name is Kira Yamato" he said bowing
"And I am here to help you" he added smiling
"You're with them" shouted Yakumo pointing at Kira
"No I am not" said Kira shaking his head
"I am here to help you by telling you the truth" he said
"I already know what happened" said Yakumo
"She was jealous of my power" she said pointing at Kurenai
"So she had it sealed away" she said
"WHAT" yelled Kira?
He turned to Kurenai and shouted "That is the story that you came up with"
"It's no wonder that she wants to take revenge on you and the village" he said
He turned back to Yakumo and said "That is not what really happened"
"I want to tell you what really happened" he said
"If you want to take revenge on her after that, I will let you" he said
"WHAT" yelled Kurenai?
"Alright" said Yakumo
"Tell me" she said
"It will be much easier to show you" said Kira
"Tsukuyomi" he said
The world spun around until both Kira and Yakumo were on an empty plane. "Where are we" asked Yakumo looking around
"Tsukuyomi" said Kira
He stuck his hand into Yakumo's body and pulled out the evil spirit. He then threw it to the ground where it was chained up. It had black hair and brown skin with two horns on either side of its head. It was wearing the same thing that Yakumo was which was a pink kimono and purple pants.
"What is that" shouted Yakumo pointing at it
"That is the evil spirit that possessed you" said Kira
Yakumo gained a frighten look on her face at that. So Kira put his arms around her and held her.
"It used your power to kill your parents" said Kira
"That is why your power was sealed away" he said
"I don't know why they didn't tell you the truth to begin with" he said
"What is going to happen now" asked Yakumo
"We are going to destroy it" said Kira
"You can't destroy me" shouted the evil spirit
"Only she can" it said pointing at Yakumo in Kira's arms
"But she never will" it laughed
"Oh really" said Kira slowly
"Think you can survive that" he said pointing up
They all looked up and saw a massively scaled down GENESIS floating above the evil spirit and aimed at it.
"What is that" shouted the evil spirit
"Genesis" said Kira
"Tell it to fire" he said to Yakumo
"Genesis fire" said Yakumo
GENESIS fired and vaporized the evil spirit. To make sure that it was dead, the mirror satellite came crashing down and crashed into where the evil spirit was.
"It's gone" said Kira
"Thank you" said Yakumo snuggling into his embrace
"You're welcome" said Kira
The world spun around as they came back to the real world. Kira shot forward and caught Yakumo as she fell backwards. "I got you" said Kira
Yakumo smiled weakly before she fell unconscious and the genjutsu disappeared.
"Is she going to be ok" asked Naruto
"She is going to be just fine" said Kira smiling
"We could have avoided all of this if you just told her the truth" he said to Kurenai
Kurenai just turned away from him and said nothing.
"I'm surprised your team is as good as it is with you as a teacher" said Kira
"What was that" growled Kurenai as she turned back around
"You shouldn't be trusted as a teacher" said Kira
"You better watch what you say Genin" said Kurenai
"Don't try to pull rank on me" said Kira
"I have dealt with people more powerful than you" he said as he left the room
He then left the mansion and saw Team 8 and Sakura were still outside.
"I see that you were successful" said Shino
"Yes" said Kira
"But your teacher hates me because I told her the truth" he said
"What do you mean" asked Kiba
"I told her that she is bad teacher" said Kira
"No she isn't" said Hinata
"We could have avoided all of this if she just told Yakumo the truth" said Kira
"But instead she lied to her and said she was jealous of Yakumo's power for the reason to seal it away" he said
"She shouldn't be trusted with students" he said
Team 8 looked down as Kira went to the hospital with Yakumo.
