****Callims' POV****

The plan is working out perfectly. I highly doubt that. Yeah right Jade now loves Dave and she is going to kiss him at prom. One problem. What's that? Mel hates your guts. No SHE FUCKING DOESN'T!

***One Day later, 2 hours before prom***

***Mel's POV***

You, Nepeta, and Rose finish you make-up. You slip on your dress and so do they. Nepeta's sparkly pink ball gown nearly consumed her; it was so poufy we had to help her get it on. Rose's sleek black dress fit her well and it went to her knees. You re-curl some of the curls in your hair and walk out of the bathroom. You see your date, along with the other girls'. Dave smiled as he handed you your corsage and you wrapped your arm around his. Nepeta held hands with her best friend Equius and Rose stood by Kanaya. Arm in arm you walk out to your limo you all squeeze in and head to prom.

****At prom***

"Jade Harley and Callim Reese" said the announcer as they walked inside.

"Karkat Vantas and Terezi Pyrope"

"Rose Lalonde and Kanaya Maryam"

"Nepeta Leijon and Equius Zahhak "

"Dave Strider and Melody Sarion" You enter the school building and head for the gym.

You hear that song faintly outside the gym and when you open the door it sounds like its blasting. You danced with Dave most the night. You even kissed during a slow song! Then the announcer comes over the speakers; "Students, we are going to announce king and queen!"

"The Queen is: Jade Harley!"

Jade smiled as she received her crown and sash.

"The king issssss: DAVE STRIDER!"

Dave shrugged as he walked onto the stage receiving his crown.

"NOOOWWW Its TIME FOR THE KING AND QUEEN DANCE EVERYONE OFF THE FLOORRRRRR!"

Dave led Jade on the dance floor and they started slow dancing,

You sit and watch them at one of the tables. You see Callim smirking in the corner 'What's he up to?'

Nepeta sits down next to you, she sighs.

"I know how it feels" she points to Karkat and Terezi making out in the corner

"Yeah but Dave wouldn't betray me like that"

She pauses for a moment…

"Oh gog"

You look back up seeing Jade and Dave kissing, practically making out. Tears well up in your eyes, your thoughts fill with hurt, rage, and pain. Your body feels like you're gonna melt right on the floor. You run out of the room sobbing, face in your hands. You bump into someone in the hall; you feel them hug around you. You look up and push Callim back.

"YOU!" You screamed at him , the rage filling up your entire body.

"You did this, you planned it didn't you!"

"What I never did such a thing" He days sarcastically

"I hate you, fuck you and everything about you!"

"I didn't want to resort to this" He pulled out a .375 Magnum.

"Do it" you spat at him "Everything I love is dead now"

"My pleasure" He held the gun to your chest, you take a deep breath and you hear a loud bang, and everything went black.

*Daves pov*

After Jade attacks you with a kiss you stared at her your mouth gaping

"What the hell!"

"Dave I though you loved-"

"We're just friends Jade I'm sorry"

"Dave!" You hear Nepeta shout... then you hear it, the gunshot.

You, Jade, Rose, Kanaya, and Nepeta rush into the hall, only to find Callim standing over Mels dead body.

"You MONSTER!" Nepeta screams.

You stand there speechless as you watch him shoot Nepeta down… right in her head.

"Oh my god" Jade screams rushing to Nepetas aid, she can't save her though it's too late.

"I won't need you anymore either" He shoots Jade and she lays there screaming in pain. We keep still hoping we won't be next. Though you don't care if you get shot you rush for Mel and press your head against her chest, her heart is faintly beating.

"Oh god" you start to cry a little "Wake up you fucker" You shout shaking her trying to make her wake up.

*Mels pov*

You faintly hear screaming and more gunshots, you hear sobbing and you feel tears falling onto your arms and chest. You see a very blurry Dave and you feel him shaking you… you don't feel like waking up.

*Daves pov*

You kiss her forehead and set her back down, saying your final goodbye. You feel the gun pressed to your back.

"Any last words Strider?"

You hear a confident voice from behind you, sounds like…

"Get the hell away from my friends"

You whip your head around to see Nepeta… she's wearing a costume from that shop… but how? And wings, horns, grey skin! Whats going on?

She punches Callim in the face, knocking him out on the floor.

"I guess we are homestuck characters!" She said cheerily.

Jade stands up, she has dog ears…

"whoa" she examines her dress "COOL!"

You turn around to see Mel still on the floor, why hasn't she woke up?

"Mel…" Her name escapes your throat, and the girls rush to her aid.

"Why hasn't she waken up?" Nepeta asked.

"Maybe It's Not Her Time Yet" Kanaya said

You hear a low rumbling noise, Callim woke up, and he was changing, growing. His eyes flashed multiple colors and his skin turned green his head almost hit the tall celling of the lobby.

"Lord English" Nepeta mumbled.

"Mel we need you to wake up now" Jade said shaking her.

Callim slammed his large fists on the ground behind us flinging us into the air. Jade and Nepeta hovered while the rest of us hit the ground. I heard a yelp and I saw Rose, she was slammed into the wall across from you… her head busted open, she died in a matter of seconds. But all you saw was that smirk on her face, and she went god tier. She smiled and told us to run, expecting his next attack. You watched as Kanaya said goodbye to her and ran for Callim, getting crushed by the fist. You heard Rose gasp a little but then you saw Kanaya get back up and fix her new outfit. "Much better" she smiled.

Then Rose saw it before anyone else did.

"Dave its best if you look away"

You did as you were told and took your eyes off the giant, and you heard several bones crushing. You turned around to see Mel being crushed by English's meaty fist.

"No" you said quietly falling to your knees; it felt like the world stopped. You see people rushing out of the gym, escaping, running for their lives. You watch as her crushed body hits the ground, the beast lets out a chuckle, sending fear down your spine. You close your eyes ready to be crushed, not caring if you go godtier. That's when you heard it, that faithful voice;

"Hey yo English" You look up and see Mel, engulfed in flames. "Never rip a girls dress" She flings fireball straight into his chest, making the beast fall over. Callim returns to normal

"What! NO!" He screams.

He picks up the gun and threatens to shoot her again. Anger fills her face and she kicks him in the chest, lighting him on fire. You watch as she stares at him she hears him scream in pain and all she does is stare. He still holds the gun, he aim and pulls the trigger one final time. You run in front of her, the bullet hitting her in the chest.

"Dave!" She screams rushing to you.

"So much for that knight of time thing…" You chuckle and then wince in pain

She laughs tears falling down her face.

"Dave, you are still my knight no matter what…" She kisses your lips and picks up the gun.

"What are you doing" you say, worried .

"Dave trust me alright…" She says putting the gun to you temple

"I don't want to do this but it's the only way i can see you alive again" tears stream down her face.

"Do what you have to" you say saying a small prayer in your head.

You hear Nepeta crying in the background "To many feels!" She says sobbing

"I'll see you soon" she says closing her eyes and pulling the trigger.

*2 weeks later*

You arrive home to a dark room and see Mel on the couch, she lit a couple candles with her finger.

"Your godtier's cooler than mine" You say with a smile

"Nah bro you can create clones and shit" She says lighting the final candle

You sit next to her and pull her in for a kiss, she lays down and pulls you on top of her, still locking lips. You give a small chuckle and blow out the candles
