It's been a long time. So much shit has has happened. Sorry for waiting a year. It's still going on. It's not good but I've been so utterly busy and shit happened, yeah hope it's good
"KK, hey, wake up. IIt'2 tiime for breakfa2t." Karkat grumbled and trudged to the door.
"This early?" Sollux nodded.
"Yeah, I don't know why though." Karkat walked next to Sollux.
"Fuck, I hate early mornings." Sollux nodded.
"We all do." Karkat sat next to Nepeta in the dining room. She waved at him.
"Hey Karkitty." Karkat smiled, and it was a true smile. He then put his hands in his lap, but as he did he touched his stomach…right where the fresh cuts were. He winced. The memories of the night before came to his mind. He excused himself from the table. Why do I want to die? I have a life in front of me. I want to die, because I'm alone, and because of Ana. I just want to go. Nepeta walked to Karkat's room.
"Karkitty… what's wrong?" Karkat just muffled something out of his pillow. Nepeta sat on his bed and put her hand on his back.
"Tell me Karkitty, you can tell me anything." Karkat shook his head.
"You don't understand." Nepeta shook her head.
"I do." Karkat just sat there sobbing.
"I want to die." Nepeta stood there shocked.
"Why, why do you want to die?" Karkat sobbed.
"Everyone hates my guts, Ana does, half the people at the clinic did, Kanaya does." She hugged him form behind, and turned him around.
"You're perfect Karkitty, and I need you here. You've only got a year or two, and then we can leave this place." He sighed.
"It's two more years of hell I have to live'." She purred.
"I will protect you." Karkat saw her smile and couldn't help but to crack a small one himself. She hugged him extremely tight.
"Thank you Nepeta, I will let you protect me, I can't protect myself. I need you." Nepeta put her hands on his shoulders. Karkat knew what was going to happen next. She cupped his face in her hands, and leaned in. Karkat knew this was going to be a kiss. Nepeta then kissed him. He couldn't complain, she was a good kisser. They were probably lip-locked for a good two minutes. Karkat couldn't help but smile. That felt amazing.
"Nepeta, what was that for?" She shrugged.
"You needed something to cheer you up." They sit for a while in silence until Nepeta then sat up.
"When do we get to leave this dump?" Karkat shrugged.
"Around a year." She then hugs him.
"That means soon we'll not have to deal with this shit." Nepeta nods enthusiastically. She then leaves Karkat's room and he heard the pester ding.
Ana Nervon began pestering CarcinoGeneticist:
AN: HEy, long time no see
CG: FUCK OFF
AN: WHy? I was being a good friend
CG: BY ALMOST FUCKING KILLING ME
AN: THat's part of the process
CG: YEAH AND THE ONLY PROCESS. DAMN JUST FUCKING LEAVE
AN: BUt you need this. You're already relapsing. Let me help you
CG: YOU KNOW WHAT ANA, I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE, I DON'T WANT TO EVER SEE YOU AGAIN GOODBYE
AN: OH trust me, you'll want me again someday. I'll always be waiting, always
CG: FUCKING GOOD BYE
CarcinoGeneticist ceased pestering Ana Nervon
Karkat lay on his bed. He never wanted anything to do with her in the first place. He never wanted to do this. It was an accident. He wanted to just take the memories and erase them. Erase them forever. Start a new life somewhere else, not in this hellhole he was in now. He wanted to run away with Nepeta. He wanted to be free. On the other hand he wanted to end his life. He wouldn't burden everyone. They would be allowed to live without his problems burdening them. It would be perfect, but then he'd leave Nepetal. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to go to Kanaya, but she'd cast him aside. He didn't want that. He wanted help. He wanted to leave, he wanted to die. He was confused. A knock on his door snapped him back to reality.
"Karkat, lunch ii2 on the table." Karkat sighed and got up.
"I'm coming, and tell Kanaya I need to talk with her." Karkat walked downstairs. Kanaya then walked over to him.
"You needed to talk?" Karkat nods.
"Yeah, it's kind of important." She leads him into a room.
"Tell me what's up." He sighs.
"I'm confused." She leans in.
"On what?"
"Life." She looks at him closer.
"Explain."
"I don't want to live, I don't want to die. I don't know, I know I can't stay here. I need to leave this place soon. It doesn't feel right here. I just want to be somewhere else." Kanaya sits there. Thinking.
"Well, someday you have to leave this place anyway. I don't know when, but when you're ready someday. You're allowed to move out once you're 16. Which I believe you are now." Karkat sighs.
"I don't know how to make it in the real world, I've bee sheltered all my life." Kanaya looks over at the sign on the door.
"Well, find something you love. You love music right?" Karkat nods.
"Yeah, I love music." She smiles.
"Find another person who has the same passion and start a project." He looks over at Nepeta from the back window.
"Dave, but I want to live with Nepeta."
"You two are really great for each other. I could bring Nepeta in. Maybe we can make something out." He nods. She brings Nepeta in.
"Karkat feels this place is not right for him, but he won't leave without you." She hugs him and smiles.
"We made out that as soon as we can leave, we do." Kanaya then starts writing things on paper.
"If you need money, if you need a listening ear and if you want to come back." She hands him the paper with the numbers.
"Thank you." She then holds them a little.
"Don't rush, you can stay and pack as long as you want." Then they leave and eat with the rest. When they were done Nepeta takes Karkat's hand and they go to his room.
"Let's start packing. I want to be gone soon to." They begin packing his clothes. He had mostly the same things, but then Dave's shirt stuck out. Nepeta went and packed her stuff. They were ready. They were ready to go to freedom. Maybe they could make it to the human world with Dave. Karkat then goes downstairs to say goodbye.
"We'll be off in the morning, so this is my goodbye." He then walked up to every troll.
"Sollux, thank you for being there when I needed you and always waking me up."
"Gamzee thank you for being the friend I could laugh with."
"Feferi, thank you for just supporting me in everything."
"Eridan, thank you for never saying anything about my disorder."
"Equius, thank you for the times we had as kids."
"Vriska, thank you for being… uh well the spiderbitch and putting spiders in my pillows."
"Terezi, thank you for letting me do the hanging thing with your scalemates."
"Aradia, thank you for telling me those stories that made me not sleep that night." Karkat hugged each and every troll.
"I'll miss you, every one, don't forget to pester me." Nepeta did the same. Then the two hugged Kanaya.
"Thank you for everything, even though you hated me at times, I must tell you that I will miss you. I will call if something's wrong." She hugged them.
"You promise?" He nods.
"Promise." Nepeta then tugs at his sleeve.
"We should actually get going, we'll miss our portal to the human world." I wave goodbye and then Nepeta takes my hand and we run.
"Pester Dave once we're there, c'mon we'll miss it." Nepeta spots it and we jump inside.
