"Look at me Yuki", saying Soujirou puts his finger under her chin and lifts her head.
As she meets his eyes, she is shocked to find them filled with pain.
"There is not a day that goes by when I do not think of you. That night was really special for me. Did it really mean nothing to you?"
"What! How can that be? Besides if that night was special, why did you not come after me?"
"I am sorry but I was a mess for a whole month. I was confused as why I was feeling this way. But I still wanted to see you. So, finally after much thinking I booked a ticket to go meet you but then I heard the news that my father had a stroke. He was in serious condition and I had to look after the business. I knew I would eventually be handling my family business but never like this. Suddenly I was given so much of responsibility which was not possible for me to handle. I would have a breakdown if Domoyoji, Akira, Ryu had not come to my rescue. They managed almost half and I was busy learning the ropes of our business. It took me almost a year to finally get a hang of it. But even if I was busy, I would still think of you and wonder if you were also thinking of me."
Letting out a big sigh he continues, "I had wanted to go after you once everything was settled but I could not bring myself as so many questions came to my mind as to why you left me. Truthfully, I did not want to hear the rejection from your own mouth. So I kept myself busy and worked my ass off.
And suddenly, you were in Japan. When I first saw you in Domoyoji's party it was the first time that the time flowed for me. It was as if from the day you left time had stopped for me. I felt alive after a very long time. All the feelings which I had locked came to me and I knew that I loved you."
Hearing these words, Yuki sits on the sofa beside her. She could not believe that what she was hearing but when she looked into Soujirou's eyes, without a doubt she believed him.
Kneeling in front of her and brushing her hair away from her face Soujirou says, "I know I have hurt you but please allow me one more chance to show you how much I love you and how much you mean to me."
Hearing these words, Yuki feels tears coming out from her eyes.
"Please don't cry" saying Soujirou wipes her tears. But still Yuki could not stop herself from crying.
Soujirou hugs her and says soothing words while rubbing her back. What felt like hours, Yuki stops crying and buries her head in his chest. Smiling Soujirou embraces her lovingly and kisses her head.
"Are you ok?" he asks and Yuki just nods her head without lifting her head.
"You know, I think I had fallen for you since the time we first met. I was always searching for you among the crowd but I thought I was being protective of you as you were Makino's friend but how wrong I was. I know you feel the same for me. Please tell me I am not wrong?" says Soujirou pleadingly.
Without saying anything, Yuki kisses him full on the lips. Breaking away from the kiss, Yuki cups Soujirou's face on her hands and says, "I have never stopped loving you. You were, are and will always be the one for me. I love you."
When Soujirou hears these words, his whole face fills with happiness and kisses Yuki like there was no tomorrow.
