Welcome to the 2nd to last chapter of the story!. In this corner we have Shadow the hedgehog being a pervert and hugging Sonic, and in the other corner we have a confused medley of Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Emerald! OMG you guys are here what are you doing?!

Knuckles: We want to see how the story ends.

Shadow: 8( don't end it please! I feel so helpless trying to save Sonic.

Tails: also I wanna see if I die or not. Not really concerned about Shadow the ultimate Cry baby here.

Shadow: AM NOT!

Rouge: Quiet down honey, go on AJ what do you have to do now?

Rouge: hmmm (looks at Knuckles, Shadow, Tails, Sonic) sit down and listen to your AJ.

Rouge: ^^ welcome.

Tails clutched onto Shadow's arm. "Robotnick!" he squealed. The doctor smiled, stopped leaning, and circled around the two what felt like forever. "My my isn't this a lovely couple?"

"Were not a couple" Shadow gritted his teeth. With out thinking he grabbed the doctor by the shirt, pressed him against the wall with eyes dark with fury. "You have some nerve approaching us like that Robotnick! now is your time to go to hell."

"I'm surprised by your do willing" Robonick halfheartedly brushed Shadow away, "But I'm just a creation, like you Shadow the hedgehog. Remember? the ark, GUN, Maria?" Shadow was shocked, how did he know Maria? "I bet she was a sweet little girl wasn't she? until those men came over and killed her. Some will happen to the little bastard who tried to defeat me."

The hedgehog got enraged, He snatched a pistol from his head quills snarling, "He's not a bastard! YOU ARE!" He opened fire on the doctor, but disappeared in a flash. He looked around with rage in his red eyes.

"Shadow" Tails screamed. He saw the doctor on a more future like aircraft. He was gonna open fire on the black hedgehog himself! "Hold on Shadow!" Tails screamed, "I'm coming!"

He pushed the crimson hedgehog away, he landed with a thud on the ground. A loud BOOM could be heard throughout station square.

When the smoked cleared, he saw in terror what Tails has just done. The body of the fox was dripping with oozing blood, ash covered his face and pieces of rubble tangled in his chest fur. "TAILS!" he screamed. He rushed over to him, frantic.

"Shadow..." Tails replied weakly, "Did he get you too?"

"No, you saved me... why?" he asked gently. The yellow fox rested his head on the edge of Shadow's lap with a weak smirk on his face. "Because your one of my friends, and I can't let a friend die." Shadow felt a pang in his heart, he never thought of Tails as one of his best friends. "Go finish this Shadow the hedgehog... make Robotnick pay for what he done." He took in another deep breath, "When me and Amy crashed the X- tornado while trying to look for Robotnick, my radar indicated the medicine in the building..." He took another deep breath before letting it out. "... Once you finish Robotnick, demand to him where the medicine is... and he'll tell you."

Shadow nodded, a tear welled down his face. Slowly he let go of the yellow fox, struggling up to his feet.

HE watched tails suffer, gulping mouthfuls of air.

"I'll make sure, to get medicine." Shadow vowed. He took out a green chaos emerald, holding it against the palm of his hand.

'I'll fucking kill that doctor!" He clenched his fist. First Maria, then Sonic, now tails. 'He'll regret the day he was created! ' He snarled in fury.

"Chaos control!"

Eggman's base... main control room...

Robotnick watched as a flash of light filled the room with radiance. The figure of a hedgehog appeared, a hedgehog he could recognize instantly.

He leaned back against the counter top snickering gleefully, "My my, Shadow the hedgehog... What a lovely surprise to see you hear. I was just waiting for you, our little battle hasn't ended yet."

Shadow clenched a fist. "You killed Tails!" he roared, "He was trying to protect me!"

"At least that's one idiot down, two to go." He eyed the hedgehog sternly.

Shadow realized what he meant. Sonic the hedgehog was one of them and he was the other. A slash of rage covered his once sudden face, making him turn dark and aggressive. "DON'T YOU DARE CALL MY SONIKU A IDIOT!"

The battle has started.

The crimson life form lashed out Chaos Spear at the young doctor, but he dodged so that he broke the main controls instead. Dr. Robotnick grabbed the nearest weapon from one of the desk before open firing on the fired up hedgehog.

Shadow dodged the attack just like Robotnick did with his.

Both of them touched the metal floor, with the tip of their fingertips. Shadow huffed with his back arched. Their was no way he was gonna let Robotnick win this.

"Pity" Robotnick sighed. He took a small bit of the controls the hedgehog has burned off. "If you kill me, You'll never find the cure for your little blue hedgehog will you?"

Shadow froze in response to the doctor's comment. "You saw haven't you? the blood on Sonic's fur and I on the hover craft?" Robotnick smirked. "You couldn't save him, turns out you'll never see that baby of yours will you? heh, might be because your a terrible father and a terrible friend to... Maria?"

The hedgehog's fur glowed golden, eyes glowed a brighter red than before.

Robotnick watched his fist glow a super bright halo around it. Slowly he hovered above the ground watching the helpless doctor beneath him. His entire body bolted with such energy it filled the room with a bright sun-like light, so bright it hurts your eyes.

Robotnick squinted hard trying to make out the shape of a hedgehog coming closer

and closer

and closer.

So close until he could hear Shadow's cold icy voice by his ear. "Go to hell bitch"

He used chaos blast and the whole room exploded. Bits and pieces of rubble fell everywhere. Robotnick was on the ground coughing out the smoke that filled his lungs. He saw the black and red hedgehog standing infront of him with demanding eyes. He pressed his foot against the doctor's belly snarling, "Where is the medicine?"

Robotnick was scared to death, "M-medic-ince?"

"Don't play dumb with me Robotnick!" Shadow snapped, "Give me the antidote or I swear to satin I will kill you." He watched the doctor reach into his pocket, and pull out a small bottle full of light blue liquid. He handed it to the crimson male with a trembling hand. Shadow snatched it from his grasp and released his foot from the doctor's stomach.

"If I ever see you do that to my Sonic or any one of his friends again." he paused to stare at Robotnick's frightened blue eyes, "I will make sure hell welcomes you. Understand?"

He nodded frantically.

Shadow gave him a small smirk, before pulling out his chaos emerald and shouting "Chaos control."

Which left Robotnick all alone. Bokkun popped out from under the rubble and saw his master sitting down on a large cinder block staring at the streets of station square far far away in the distance. He quietly stepped out from the derbies and sat beside his master.

"Doctor?" he asked. "Are you okay?"

Robotnick turned to stare at Bokkun. He squeezed the life from the young one crying, he hasn't seen him in so long and he missed him. "Bokkun? Why did I do such a thing? my father wanted me to be like him and build the empire like he wanted... but I never knew with such a dream will build up a certain violence inside me." He glanced at the city below. "So many innocent souls one by one... living the dreams they choose. People my age, having jobs, living their life... and only listening to what my father had to say... that all humans will die because they depend on Sonic so much..."

"He always hated that hedgehog" Bokkun muttered under his breath, remembering how the doctor tried to kill the hedgehog everytime he interfered with his plans. "But he also had a bright side to him. So many outcomes... but when Sonic was in danger... he'll try to help him. Dr. Eggman wasn't the nicest nor the brightest, but during his death bed long ago... he invited Sonic over to his base. They stayed quiet and he respected that his rival was gay, he didn't try to hurt the baby inside his stomach but instead said that he was glad to be working against Sonic." Robotnick felt a spark of guilt in his chest. "He didn't kill Eggman, Eggman had a heart attack. He was old and weak... he fell from the Egg craft and landed on the sidewalk." Bokkun turned to gaze into the doctor's eyes. "You didn't have to poison him at all, and kill one of his closest friends."

"All this... was just a misunderstanding..." Robotnick whispered. He stood up and whipped a tear from his eyes. "I feel so guilty... Shadow loved him so much, he wanted to take care of his precious little hedgehog, he worked so hard to become a father..." he bowed his head, "...and I almost ruined his chance."

He grabbed a sharp shard of metal and placed it against his chest, "Bokkun"

"Yes Doctor Robotnick?"

"You shall not work for anybody anymore. From now on your free." He stabbed the shard exactly where his heart laid. A pain in his eyes, tears coming out.

He manged to whisper his last words, "I'm so sorry" out before he collasped on the ground and fell dead at Bokkun's feet.

Shadow had managed to make it back to his house unharmed. When he opened the door, he was greeted with a cry. "SHADOW!" he heard a voice scream.

It was his blue hedgehog, his Sonic. He wrapped his arms around Shadow's neck, burring his face in his mates chest fur.

They embraced for what felt like forever. Rouge, Knuckles, and Emerald looked up from the couch.

The white bat patted Shadow on the head lightly, "We missed you handsome"

"We thought you were gonna never come back" Knuckles smirked. For once in Shadow's life he felt the echidna's arms wrap around his neck, pulling him into an embrace. "We all missed you, especially Sonic. He was freaking out when he saw you gone. He called us right when he woke up, of course he had a little delay..." he gave a glance at his son and his wife. "But were just glad to see you here."

Shadow smiled, "And guess what honey?"

Sonic tilted his head to the side, "yes?"

"I got the antidote back" he pulled out the antidote so that everyone can see. The azul hedgehog cried in pleasure, snuggling against his lover once more.

"ok then love... drink up." he titled Sonic's head so that the liquid fell into his mouth and down his throat

once he was finished and bight blue again. He tapped his crimson hedgie on the shoulder. "uhh... Shads.."

"um?"

"The baby's coming."
