CHAPTER FOURTEEN
[LOGANS PROV]
"Ah think you should help pick her name. What name do you lahke?" Rouge asked Logan as she stroked the black puppy. Logan sighed before dropping onto his bed in a sitting position. "How about … Star." Logan said, the name just popping into his head along with a vague memory that he couldn't really put any face's or words to. Logan gave his head a quick shake to clear it and not hearing Rouge say anything about the name he looked towards where she had been sitting on the floor after she got done dancing only to discover to his surprise that Rouge was staring at the black puppy who was standing on its hind feet with a look of surprise on its face, then almost as if it knew it was acting weird it gave a happy little bark and ran over to Logan and begin to whine while sitting at his feet. Logan leaned down and picked up the newly named puppy and began to pet it, "Well she sure seems to lahke it." Rouge said slightly amused at the puppy's reaction. "Star it is then." Logan said as he put the puppy back on the floor which caused the puppy to give a whine before it bounced over to Rouge to be petted.
[STAR'S POINT OF VIEW STARTING WHEN ROUGE ASKED LOGAN FOR A NAME]
Star was about to go crazy being this close to Logan and having him not know who she was, or that she was even a human. However Logan must have remembered her a little since he knew her name, maybe she should stay a while and see if Logan's memory would come back..but what about Remy? He would go crazy even if she was only gone for a few unknown minutes and she had told Leah that she would only be gone for a couple of hours and it had already been several hours. Maybe she could telepathically tell Chan to tell the crew that she would be gone for the next week or two that way she could stay with Logan and see if she could piece together what had happened to Logan's memory and where Creed was. "Yeah that's what I'll do." Star thought to herself before she set her plan into motion. After ten minutes arguing with Chan, Star finally convinced Chan to tell Remy that Star was taking a week or two off for a quick vacation. With that done Star concentrated on trying to be a 'normal puppy' and she begin to sniff around the room.
[LOGAN'S PROV]
"Oh no you don't Star!" Logan said his face showing his panic and slight horror as he grabbed Star off the floor where she had begun to squat and he ran her to the bathroom that was connected to Logan's room. He just got the puppy over the toilet when she begin to pee, after the puppy was finished she gave a happy little bark and Logan set her in the bath tub so he could flush the toilet. "That was close." Logan said out loud to himself as he washed his hands then turned to look at the puppy who was sitting quietly in the bathtub, her head cocked to the side, Logan swore he saw her eyes twinkle in amusement. "Well ah better be going. The professor say's it's time for bed. Night Logan, night Star." Rouge said as she scurried out of Logan's room shutting the door behind her and headed for her own room. "Wait Rouge what am I suppose to do with…she's gone." Logan said. He turned back to the still quiet puppy, "I don't suppose you could just sleep in there?"Logan said Star only gave a bark. "I didn't think so.' Logan picked up the puppy, ' Listen you can sleep on my bed only if you promise not to go to the bathroom on it or me. Understand?" Star gave another bark and Logan gingerly picked her up and took her out of the bathroom and placed her on his bed covers where she curled up into a ball and fell asleep immediately.
