As Dan continued to fly towards Axiom Labs, he took quick glances to see how things were going for his forces. Over at the high school, Wrath and his group led a large group of ghosts to hunt down and destroy any ghosts who refused to join his army and any human survivors. He spotted one of the ghosts dragging some girl that he vaguely remembered when he was a teenager. The girl's screams for mercy fell on deaf ears as the ghost brought and hatchet down onto her face. Dan smirked at this act before turning his attention towards his goal.
Down on the ground, Cyber Tuck continued to flee from his pursuers while redirecting his sentry units to combat Dan's army. He knew that his machines would be able to handle the cannon fodder ghosts, but as much as he hated to admit it, he doubt his robots would be able to handle Dan's lover, Samantha, and her pets due to her own abilities that she had kept to herself and the savage nature of the Medelwyr, especially Massacre's own strength.
'This whole operation has become a complete disaster,' Tuck mentally whined as he continued to head for his lab. 'I'll need to active Valerie and initiate the 'Judgment Day' protocol,' he added.
While Cyber Tuck raced towards his lab, the rest of Amity Park looked like a warzone as Dan's ghost army came under fire from Cyber Tuck's robotic army. The machines fired their ectoplasm cannons while the numerous ghosts used every trick they knew to combat the machines. Ghosts, robots, and the few unlucky humans that got caught in the crossfire dropped onto the ground motionless. This battle was filled with death and destruction as the battle between those who were already dead and those who were never alive to begin with was just the beginning of something much bigger.
Back at Fenton Works, one of the Medelwyr had just tossed Damon right towards the severely damaged GAV. Damon laid motionless on the ground after colliding with the GAV; it was unclear if he was still alive or dead. It didn't matter to the Medelwyr as it joined its brethren in their attack against the Fenton couple and the blonde haired girl. Star had managed to take down two of the fourteen Medelwyr with her sword. The ectoplasm that the Medelwyr were composed of was absorbed into the sword of Nemesis and increased the power of the sword. Star continued to fight against three other Medelwyr while Maddie used her ghost arm to shoot concentrated ectoplasm into the mouth of another. The attack didn't kill the Medelwyr, but it did slow it down and caused it to back away from the woman.
Up above, Samantha watched the battle take place with no reaction. When she saw two of her pets die, Samantha was tempted to go down there and finish the humans off by herself, but she chose not to interfere. She continued to watch as the eleven Medelwyr continued to battle against the humans while Massacre remained inside Fenton Works to finish his mission. She noticed that Jack had stepped forward and aimed his massive Gatling gun at the Medelwyr.
"FIRE IN THE HOLE!" yelled Jack as he let loose a massive spray of ectoplasm bullets.
Samantha watched as the ectoplasm bullets succeeded in tearing through the bodies of her pets. The cries of the Medelwyr could be heard throughout the city as the bullets destroyed their bodies and their cores. A few had tried to get out of the line of fire, but Jack's attack was too swift for them as they all laid dead on the ground before the humans
Inside Jack and Maddie's lab, Massacre spotted the life support system that kept Vlad Masters alive. The hulking Medelwyr looked at all the machinery that was used to keep Vlad alive and connected to the FEAR suit that Jack wore in the battle going on outside of the building. He approached the mutilated and vacant halfa as he came face to face with the man who attempted to overthrow Dan.
Inside his more or less lifeless shell, Vlad was disgusted and slightly frightened by the beast that towered over him. He had never seen such a ghost like this in his entire life and he feared that he wouldn't survive this encounter. However a small part of Vlad was willing to let this creature finish him off as death would be a much more desirable end than to continue to live in the state of being that he was in already.
Massacre was about to finish his job, but the cries of his brethren caught his attention. They were death cries, which was a sound Massacre had never expected and would never want to hear again. Ignoring Vlad, Massacre raced towards the stairs and ran towards the portal in the living room of Fenton Works.
When he exited the portal, Massacre saw the sight of eleven of his brethren lying on the ground dead. He looked to see Jack, Maddie, and Star standing just up ahead of his dead siblings. Rage began to consume the alpha Medelywr as he glared at the humans.
"What have you done?" questioned Massacre. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BRETHREN!" he yelled as he charged at them at full speed.
"EAT HOT ECTOPLASM LEAD GHOST!" yelled Jack as he fired the Gatling gun again.
As Jack fired his weapon, Massacre leapt into the air avoiding all the bullets before landing in front of Maddie and Star. The two females were stunned by his leap they weren't prepared when Massacre smacked them aside with his large claws. Jack turned around to fire at Massacre, but the Medelywr was quicker as he turned around and grabbed Jack by the throat. He picked up the heavy male with one arm and started running towards another building. Just as they reached the building, Massacre rammed Jack into the wall of the building as hard as he could. The impact of Jack's armored body combined with the speed and strength of Massacre's attack caused the entire wall of the building to fall to the ground. Massacre still had Jack in his hand and let out a loud howl before tossing Jack's body across the street.
Maddie saw what Massacre did to Jack and managed to get back up and prepared to attack the ghost. She let loose a series of ghost rays from her ghost arm, but Massacre jumped out of the way and landed on the side of another building before jumping towards her. Massacre landed in front of Maddie and grabbed her by her left arm and spun her around over his head. Maddie screamed as Massacre picked up speed before letting go of the Fenton woman. Maddie flew in the air in a spiral motion as she sped towards the road. Using the ghost arm, Maddie managed to fire another ghost ray to slow down her speed. She crashed onto the ground, but she was lucky that the blast she fired was strong enough to slow down her speed and prevented her from suffering any major injuries.
While Maddie was recovering, Massacre continued his assault as he directed his rage towards Star. The young blonde tried to use her sword on the Medelywr, but Massacre was on top of her in less than a second. She barely had time to blink as Massacre grabbed her by her head and threw her right into another car. Star lost her grip on her sword during the throw and screamed just before she made contact with the vehicle. After hitting the car, Star tried to get back up but as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw her sword flying straight at her. She tried to move away, but the sword penetrated her body, inches below her heart. Star screamed in agony and fear before she lost consciousness.
Massacre let out a howl before turning his attention back towards Jack Fenton. Jack charged at Massacre with his ax with the intent to chop the Medelywr in half. Massacre on the other hand, sidestepped Jack when he got close and delivered a powerful uppercut causing Jack to lose his grip on the ax just before Massacre grabbed him by the head and slammed him onto the road. Massacre picked Jack up and kicked him away before turning his attention towards Maddie.
Maddie saw what Massacre did to her husband and felt fear the likes of which she had never experienced. Massacre leapt into the air again, but this time he jumped over Maddie and landed several yards away. Maddie did not know what this ghost was up to, but when she saw him standing next to an overturned tanker truck, she witnessed something she never expected.
Massacre picked up the truck with both of his hand and lifted it over his head. Maddie was thinking the Medelywr was going to throw the tanker truck at them, but he didn't. Instead, Massacre ran forward with the tanker in his hands. Maddie braced herself thinking that this would be the end of her, but Massacre ran right past her and made his way towards a recovering Jack.
When Jack regained his balance, he spotted Massacre running towards him with that tanker truck over his head. Jack let out a surprised yell that was mixed with terror as he managed to jump out of Massacre's path. Massacre noticed Jack's movement, and saw that the human was close to his gatling gun, so Massacre threw the tanker truck into the air so that he could reach the weapon before Jack did.
The tanker tucker soared into the air before landing just outside the city. When it hit the ground, a massive explosion erupted. The impact zone happened to be a spot where some GIW agents were located at. The agents were engulfed in a massive fire and burned in agony.
Back in Amity Park, Jack had managed to grab the gatling gun and pointed it at Massacre. Jack pulled the trigger, but nothing happened much to Jack's shock. Massacre on the other hand, grabbed the weapon and ripped it out of Jack's grip. Jack was suddenly backhanded by Massacre causing him to fly twelve feet backwards until he hit the ground again. He tried to get up, but Jack saw Massacre charging at him with the gatling gun in his hand. Massacre swung the gatling gun like a club and slugged Jack right upside his face. With Jack back on the ground, Massacre snapped the gatling gun in half like it was a twig.
"My kind are known as the most vicious and feared species in the Ghost Zone," said Massacre. "I don't know how you vile humans were able to kill my siblings," he continued as he walked towards Maddie. "But I will make sure that all of you suffer as you beg for your miserable, misbegotten lives!" he yelled as he charged at Maddie.
As Massacre continued his assault on the Fenton couple, Cyber Tuck managed to reach his lab just before Dan or his forces had caught up to him. He also spotted Tucker standing in front of Axiom Labs and wearing the battle suit.
"What happened?" asked Tucker as his future-self reached him.
"Dan found out," answered Tuck as he activated the doors. "Hurry, we don't have much time before he finds us," he told Tucker.
"What do we do now?" asked Tucker as the two of them headed for the lab.
"I have no choice but to activate my backup plan," answered Tuck as they reached the lab.
"What backup plan?" replied Tucker. "You didn't say anything about a backup plan," he continued.
Tuck didn't answer right away as he was activating the 'Judgment Day' protocol. He also gave his machines and Valerie their orders. He took a glance at one of the monitors and saw Dan landing just in front of Axiom Labs.
'Oh shit, he's here already,' Tuck mentally cursed. "Tucker, Dan is about to enter," he warned Tucker. "I need you to hold him off until I can finish prepping the backup plan," he told his younger self.
"Me, alone!?" screamed Tucker.
"Yes, but don't worry. The suit will be enough for you to face Dan," assured Tuck. "But I'll be sure to send in some of my robots to assist you," he added.
"But…," started Tucker sounding unsure of himself.
"Do it for those you love," begged Tuck.
Tucker stood still for a moment as he thought about those who mattered to him. His parents who had died trying to stop Aragon, Desiree who had risked herself to bring him to Cyber Tuck, he even spared brief moment thinking about Sam and Danny. However his thoughts on those two were more along the lines of how impressed they would be with him stopping Dan and apologizing to him for being mean to him.
"How much time do you need?" asked Tucker and he turned to face the doors.
"At least five more minutes," answered Cyber Tuck.
"That's four more than I need," boasted Tucker as he ran off to face Dan.
Cyber Tuck watched Tucker leave the room before returning to his work.
"Such an egotistical idiot," muttered Tuck. "At least I exist outside of the timeline, so when Dan finishes killing my foolish younger self, I won't have to worry about faded out of existence," he added as he began to enter the activation codes for his ultimate weapon.
As Tucker ran towards where Dan; Dan stood before the doors as if he was waiting for something.
"To knock or not to knock?" Dan asked himself. "Such an interesting question," he added before blasting the doors open with a large ghost ray. "That'll do," he said as he walked into Axiom Labs.
While the madness that was occurring inside Amity Park, outside of the ghost shield that separated the town from the rest of the world there were four things flying towards the ghost shield. Those four things turned out to be Danny, Sam, Dani, and Burn; and they were flying towards the west side of the dome. They took notice of the forces that surrounded the ghost shield and saw that the National Guard and the remaining GIW agents over at the east and south sides of the dome. The four landed in front of the western spot, which was strangely enough deserted for unknown reasons, and looked at the dome.
"Okay we're here, now what?" asked Dani while standing next to Burn.
"Right now, nothing," answered Danny.
"What?" started Sam. "But we travel all the way here to help out our hometown," she continued. "Why are we doing nothing?" she asked.
"Because chances are whether in human form or not, my parents might have upgraded the shield to keep anything with ectoplasm out of Amity Park, or in this case keep anything with ectoplasm from getting in Amity Park," explained Danny.
"So how do we get in?" asked Burn as he looked at the dome in front of him.
"We wait for the shield to go down," answered Danny.
"We just wait?" questioned Dani as she looked at her template. "Why should we wait?" she asked.
"Because he's going to let us in," answered Danny.
Dani and Burn looked at Danny in confusion while Sam's eye widened when Danny said the word he.
"You don't mean that he's the one responsible for all of this, do you Danny?" asked Sam.
Dani and Burn were confused by Sam's question because apparently she knew who Danny was talking about.
"Yes Sam," answered Danny. "He's the one who set this whole thing up," he added. "He did this just so he can have his rematch with me," he told her.
"Vlad set this up?" asked Dani.
"No, not Vlad," replied Danny. "The ghost who did all of this was who I could have been," he told his clone.
"Okay I'm lost here," said Burn as he walked up to Danny. "Whoever is causing all of this is crazy, and you're telling us that this guy is you," he added. "That's crazy Danny," he finished.
"I could have been him Burn, but I vowed that I would never become him," said Danny. "But that doesn't matter because I need to finish what the two of us never got to finish the first time," he said.
"Danny, you don't have to do this," started Sam. "We can just forget about this whole thing. Let him have this town, there's nothing here for us anyway. Your parents see you as a ghost, the people here think you're a murderer, your uncle is in jail, your sister isn't even here, and Tucker ditched us," she listed as she turned him to face her. "You have nothing here to go back to," she told him with a tear in her right eye.
"Yeah, you're right Sam; there is nothing here for me and I don't have to do this," agreed Danny.
Sam sighed in relief when Danny said that and smiled at him.
"But I'm doing this because I want to," Danny told her much to her surprise. "Dan wants me to face him and I want to as well," he told his mate.
Sam shook her head; she was completely against this because she remembered how much of a monster Danny's former future self was. Dani and Burn were also surprised with how Danny was so eager to go off and face this powerful foe that has Sam scared.
As Danny and his group waited for the ghost shield to drop, Dan continued to walk slowly through the halls of Axiom Labs. He was expecting some sort of resistance from Cyber Tuck, but so far there was nothing standing in his way. As he rounded another corner as he made his way to where Cyber Tuck's lab would be Dan spotted a young male in a combat suit reminiscent of his old HAZMAT suit when he was still Danny. The only difference was that this suit came with small ecto-blasters on the wearer's forearms, a small jetpack, a full cover helmet, and small boosters on the legs. Dan gazed into the visor of the helmet and could make the face of the wearer.
"Tucker Foley," said Dan as he looked Tucker over for a bit. "Allow me to take a guess. You plan on stopping me from reaching your future self," he guessed.
"Yes," said Tucker as he readied his blasters. "Your reign of terror ends here," he declared as he charged forward.
Dan had a small smirk on his face as he charged at Tucker as well. Tucker fired his ecto-blasters at Dan, but the shots bounced off of Dan's body much to Tucker's shock. Dan grabbed Tucker's arms before head-butting the body's helmet. Tucker was disoriented for a moment, but that moment was all Dan needed as he threw Tucker towards the end of the hallway. Tucker hit two doors and slid off of them, surprisingly enough the doors didn't open. As Tucker tried to get back up, Dan charged towards him and tackled Tucker back to the door. Dan pulled his bladed arm back before stabbing Tucker's left shoulder with the blade. Tucker screamed in agony as the blade began to give off ectoplasmic heat that started to burn away the tendons that connected Tucker's arm to the rest of his body. Dan had enough with Tucker's screaming, punched the boy's head three times before pulling his blade out of Tucker. Tucker dropped to the ground unconscious, leaving him at the mercy of Dan Phantom.
"Tucker Foley…," growled Dan. "You are no Danny Phantom," he told the unconscious boy before heading towards Cyber Tuck's lab, leaving a beaten Tucker behind.
When Dan reached Cyber Tuck's lab he saw the metal ghost standing in front of a large monitor. Dan headed towards Tuck and noticed that the traitor hasn't moved. When Dan was close enough to Tuck he raised his arm blade and with a quick slash Cyber Tuck was sliced in half. As the body of Cyber Tuck fell to the ground, Dan noticed that something wasn't right. Suddenly the monitor in front of him turned on revealing Tuck. Interestingly enough it was Tuck without the metal body, in fact Tuck looked like how Tucker's evil ghost-self appeared back when Desiree gave Tucker ghost powers all those years ago. The only difference was that this Tucker ghost was older, no beret, wild looking hair, and the right half of his face was severely burned.
"Welcome Dan," greeted Tuck through the monitor. "I figured you would have gotten past my younger self," he added.
"Then I'm sure you also figured why I'm here too," said Dan.
"Of course," replied Tuck. "And I'll be happy to deactivate the ghost shield so you can have your little bout with your younger self," he added as he began to deactivate the ghost shield.
"And why would you do this for me when I have an army of ghosts hunting you down?" asked Dan.
"Simple Dan," started Tuck. "I just want all my enemies in one spot so that I can have you all killed at the same time," he bragged.
"We shall see about that Tuck," said Dan as he left the lab so that he could have his match against Danny.
Outside of Amity Park, Danny and his group saw the ghost shield fade out of existence. Danny got the feeling that Dan had just opened the door for him to enter and he didn't want to disappoint his darker self. Danny took a step into the town with Sam, Dani, and Burn following behind. As soon as they had entered, the ghost shield had reactivated.
During that same moment, the National Guard and the very few surviving GIW agents also noticed the ghost shield deactivate. None of them knew what it meant, but they suspected the worst and armed themselves just in case the ghosts started to fly out of the city. However just as suddenly the dome vanished, it reappeared much to their confusion.
"Lieutenant, what do you make of this?" asked a higher ranking officer of the National Guard.
"I'm not sure Major," answered the Lieutenant.
Back inside the dome, Danny and his group took in the sights of the death and decay that filled the town. Sam was shocked at the sight of the place that was once her hometown. Dani felt like vomiting, but held it in because she didn't want to take the chance of the garbage being just as bad if not worse that what was already on the streets.
"Wow, this placed looks worse than the Flipside," commented Burn, who was not affected by the smell of death, decay, and other disgusting odors.
"We need to get moving," said Danny as he walked forward.
"What's the plan D-man?" asked Burn.
"I'm going to find Dan and put an end to all of this while you three find any survivors and get them out of here," answered Danny as he continued to walk.
"Works for me," replied Burn as he took to the air.
"Danny wait…" started Sam as she walked up to Danny, hoping to talk some sense into him.
"Not now Sam," said Danny. "I'll deal with Dan while you, Dani, and Burn get anyone who is still alive out of here. Then when all of this is over you can tell me how stupid and selfish I am for not listening to you," he told her as he took to the air.
Sam really wanted to follow, but Dani held her back. The plant powered ghost girl turned to look at her mate's clone and saw Dani shake her head at her.
"Let him take care of what he needs to do," said Dani. "You can't stop, just like how he couldn't stop you from going into the Abyss," she reminded her. "The two of you are pretty damn stubborn," she added.
Sam didn't say anything, but she did nod her head as she followed Dani and Burn to find any survivors.
As Sam followed Dani and Burn, Danny landed near what was left of the park. As soon as he touched down, Danny returned to his human form and began to walk where he believed Dan would be waiting. As he walked, the clouds in the sky began to darken and lightning began to strike the earth. Rainfall went through the ghost shield and hit the ground, but Danny didn't notice or cared about the rain. All he was focused on was finding Dan and putting an end to their conflict. This wasn't about what Dan did to Amity Park, it wasn't about the lives Dan and his followers had taken, and it wasn't about Danny returning to being a hero. This was simply about the two of them; regardless of how Dan came into being, the world, no, the universe isn't big enough for two Danny Fenton/Phantoms to exist.
As he continued his trek towards where he believed Dan to be at, Danny saw several robots and a large number of ghosts fighting each other. Caught in the middle was a family of five humans who were trying to hide from both forces. As Danny made his way towards them; the ghosts and robots stopped fighting and noticed Danny in his human form.
"I'm here for Dan!" declared Danny as he continued walking towards the opposing forces. "If you value your lives, stand down," he told them as he formed two ice blades on his hands with ectoplasm enhancing the inside of the blades.
One of the ghosts stood in front of the other ghosts and glared at Dan's younger self.
"No one sees Lord Dan without his permission," declared the arrogant ghost causing the other ghosts to roar in agreement.
"I wasn't asking…" growled Danny as he continued his way towards the ghosts and robots that stood in his path.
"GET HIM!" yelled the arrogant ghost as he charged at Danny.
The other ghosts followed while the robots joined the fray due to their programming had Danny as a higher priority threat. The human family used this chance to find a place to hide. As they hid, one of the ghosts tried to attack Danny with an axe, but Danny blocked the attack with one of his arm swords and rammed the other sword into that ghost's face. One of the robots managed to reach Danny and tried to blast him with its ecto-cannon, but Danny dodged the beam and got close to the robot. Within a second, Danny stabbed the machine with his ice blades and ripped the robot in half. Danny slowly turned his head towards the ghosts and robots, which made the ghosts nervous while the robots prepared to attack again. Danny slowly walked towards them with his blades soaked in oil and ectoplasm dripping from the tips of the blades.
As Danny dealt with the ghosts and robots he came across, Sam, Dani, and Burn spotted Maddie get thrown around by Massacre while Samantha watched the whole thing. The three of them were shocked to see a Medelwyr here in the living world. They were quite freaked out because during their first encounter with a Medelwyr, they've learned that there is never just one.
However the sight of Maddie being thrown down on the ground after a severe beating was something they could not ignore. What really got them out of their stunned stupors was when Massacre stomped on Maddie's ghost arm. Maddie screamed in pain as the ectoplasm from the ghost arm affected her nervous system. Massacre lifted his foot up slightly before applying more force into his next stomp that it severed the ghost arm from Maddie. The arm evaporated after being separated from Maddie as she rolled onto her back crying in agony.
"If you and your mate hadn't of killed by brethren, your deaths would have been at least quick," Massacre told the screaming Maddie.
Massacre raised his right clawed arm up into the air as he prepared to deliver the final blow that would end Maddie's life; Massacre was kicked in the chest by both Dani and Burn. The force of their kick caused Massacre to crash onto the street twelve feet away from them and Maddie. Maddie looked up to see a ghost girl that looked a lot like Phantom and a male ghost with gray skin and dark smoke covering his head like it was hair.
Massacre got back up to see his attackers, he growled at the sight of these two ghosts that dared to stop him from avenging his brethren. He let out a howl as he charged at the two ghosts that stood before him. Dani and Burn got themselves ready for Massacre's attack while Maddie's consciousness began to slip again.
As Dan and Burn took on Massacre, Samantha watched from on top of a roof. She was about to join the fight, but she turned around just in time to see a vine head straight for her head. She dodged the attack and saw Sam in her ghost form standing before her with one arm stretched out and the vine wrapping itself around her arm.
"Looks like you could use a dance partner," said Sam. "Mind if I cut in?" she taunted as she got into a fighting stance.
Samantha didn't say anything as she took a standing position while straightening her fingers. Deciding to make the first move, Sam lashed out with the vine from her left arm with an overhead swing. Samantha saw the move and dodged it while moving herself closer to her younger self. Sam noticed this and shot out her right arm out causing the vine to shoot out like a small harpoon. Slightly surprised, Samantha moved her head slightly to the right to avoid the vine hitting her face.
'Got ya,' thought Sam as she curled her right hand into a claw.
The motion of her hand caused the vine to turn and try to snake around Samantha's neck. However the older ghost woman ducked to avoid the attack much to Sam's surprise. Since they were close, Samantha swept Sam's right leg causing the younger human/ghost hybrid to fall onto the rooftop. As soon as Samantha stood back up, Sam phased through the roof and shot back up and floated in the air. Sam started to spin as ectoplasm leaves began to form around her. Samantha didn't know what her younger self was planning, but she got her answer when ecto-leaves flew towards her like small knives. Making a split second decision, Samantha opened a portal in front of her causing the leaves to fly into it.
"What the…?" responded Sam in confusion until she heard the sound of another portal opening.
Sam turned around to see a portal behind her and the leaves flying towards her. She didn't have time to turn intangible as the leaves cut her causing her to scream in pain. Suddenly Sam returned to her human form and fell back towards the rooftop. Surprisingly, Samantha caught her before she hit the rooftop and gently set her down.
Back on the ground, Dani and Burn were doing their best as they double teamed Massacre. Burn launched a flying sidekick at the Medelwyr while Dani fired ghost rays at the beast. Massacre was hit by two ghost rays before Burn's foot came in contract with his chest. The impact of the kick caused Massacre to stumble backwards. Burn landed on this feet and got himself ready for any counter attack while Dani floated behind him with ectoplasm glowing from her hands and even her feet.
"Do you think he's about to give up?" asked Dani.
Before Burn could answer, Massacre picked up a car and chucked it at them. Dani turned intangible while Burn turned into smoke to avoid the flying car.
"I'm gonna say no," replied Burn in a slightly sarcastic tone.
Massacre let out another howl as he charged at the two again.
As Dani and Burn continued their fight against Massacre, several yards away Jack was regaining consciousness. He saw the bug ghost fighting two other ghosts and tried to get back up. As he struggled to get himself back up, Jack felt a pair of arms help him up. After regaining his balance, Jack turned around and saw someone he never expected or wanted to see again.
"YOU!" yelled Jack as he moved away from the person who helped him up. It was his former little brother, Vince Fenton. "You're supposed to be in jail!" he yelled again.
"Actually it's prison," corrected Vince. "Anyone who has a sentence that is longer than a year goes to prison," he explained. "It's been a while hasn't it?" he added.
"You should have been sentenced to death you traitor," said Jack as he tried to throw a punch at Vince.
Vince dodged the sloppy attack and tried to talk some sense to Jack, but the elder Fenton refused to listen as he continued to attack.
"Whoa!" yelled Vince in surprise as he dodged another of his brother's punches. "Jack, will you cut it out!" he yelled again.
"Shut up traitor!" yelled Jack as he continued his assault.
As the two men continue their very one-sided fight, Dani and Burn were continuing their battle against Massacre. The giant Medelwyr leapt into the air and tackled Dani. The cloned hybrid was pinned down and tried to break free of Massacre's hold, but the beast had her arms pinned with his claws. The scythe-like blades on his back hanged over Dani's face and pulled back slightly. She also felt wet ectoplasm drop onto her face, she would have guess that it was Massacre's saliva but she didn't care about that as she was more focused on trying to free herself from Massacre's grip.
Massacre let out another howl and was about to stab Dani with his blades. As the blades descended towards the girl's face, Burn turned into his smoke form, moved around Massacre, grabbed Dani while in his smoke form and pulled her away from the Massacre. The beast had let go of Dani because of the smoke interfering with his vision causing him to back away in anger.
"Thanks," said Dani as she was happy to be free of Massacre's clutches.
"No problem," replied Burn as the two of them prepared for Massacre's next move.
As the two fights that close to Fenton Works continued, Maddie regained her consciousness and saw the ghost that nearly killed her fighting against two other ghosts. She also spotted her husband fighting against someone she didn't expect to see.
"What is he doing her?" muttered Maddie as she tried to get back up but had a hard time due to only having one arm and was still recovering from the attack she endured when Massacre nearly killed her.
While Maddie tried to get herself back up, Jack and Vince continued with their fight. For everyone punch Jack threw, Vince dodged and tried to talk some sense into his older brother. Sadly Jack continued to ignore his brother's pleas and simply focused on attacking. Luckily for Vince, Jack's punches were sloppy and sluggish. It would appear that Jack was still suffering from the beating that he had received from Massacre. However, one of Jack's blows caught Vince by surprise. The metallic gloved hand struck the younger Fenton male in his left eye causing him to yell out in pain as he clutched the left side of his face. When Vince removed his hand, he noticed there was blood on it and that he couldn't see what was to the left of him.
Jack stood over his younger brother with his fists raised into the air. He placed his hands together and prepared to slam them onto Vince's back. Just as Jack was about to land the final blow, Vince looked at his brother with a sad expression on his face.
"If you survived all of this, could you look at your daughter's face when she asks you what happened to me?" Vince asked his brother.
This caused Jack to pause as he started to think about Jazz. He remembered the times when he tried to show off new inventions to his children, hoping to impress them so that they could be proud of him. Jack had always dreamed that his children would follow in his footsteps and become the greatest ghost hunters in history, even greater than him. But there was one thing Jack could not deny, and that was that his kids loved their uncle just as much as he knew that they love him.
After thinking about all of that, Jack looked at his little brother. No matter what they said to each other three years ago, a part of Jack resented himself for disowning his brother. However, the Fenton family had always believed that ghosts were evil and if anyone in the family believed otherwise was looked down upon and cast out.
"You betrayed the family name," said Jack. "You're no longer a Fenton," he added as he prepared to attack again.
Just as Jack was about to finish off his little brother, a shot was heard causing Jack to look down and Vince to look up. Vince's right eye widened in shock as he saw a hole the size of his palm in his brother's gut, the hole was a clean shot that went through Jack's entire body. The two brothers looked at each other for a single moment before Jack's body fell forward and Vince managed to move out of the way. Jack didn't move after the fall for he was dead as soon as his body dropped.
Vince turned to see who had fired the shot that killed his brother and saw ten robots heading towards him. One of the robots had smoke coming out of the barrel of its ecto-blaster. Suddenly Vince heard a scream causing him to turn his head to see Maddie struggling to get up. He also saw that she had only one arm.
"Don't move human," ordered one of the robots as it grabbed him.
Vince didn't say or do anything because he was still in a state of shock. Another of the robots grabbed Maddie and restrained her before bringing her towards where Vince was standing.
The other eight robots headed towards where Dani, Burn, and Massacre were fighting it out. The three combatants noticed the robots and were being shot at by the ghosts. they were exhausted from their fight that none of them could retaliate as they were hit by the ecto-blaster fire. After a brief attack, the eight robots had secured Dani, Burn, and Massacre.
As this happened, Samantha watched from on top of the rooftop with an unconscious Sam over her left shoulder. The older female opened a portal and entered it without looking back and while carrying Sam.
Back at the area where Danny was, he had just finished off the last ghost that had tried to stop him. He pulled the ice blade out of the ghost's head before the ice blades melted off of his hands and continued his way towards where he believed Dan to be waiting for him. Behind Danny was a battlefield littered in the remains of recently destroyed ghosts and scrapped robots. The death and destruction didn't mean anything to Danny as he continued walking. The humans that were caught in the crossfire saw the whole thing from their hiding spot and none of them wanted to move until they were sure Danny was nowhere near them.
As Danny continued walking towards where he expected Dan to be, he had passed many ghosts and robots that were fighting amongst themselves. Ectoplasm and oil flew throughout each battle as both side contained heavy losses. But none of that mattered to Danny, he continued onward with no interest in the battles. He was focused on only one person and the battle that was going to happen when they saw each other.
"There you are Danny Fenton," said a voice.
Danny stopped in his tracks to see three ghosts standing before him. They were very strange looking compared to the other ghosts Danny had come across. The weirdest looking one was the one with two long serrated blades that were a part of his right arm and a warped face that looked like two DP emblems merging into one.
"Lord Dan has been waiting for you," said the one with the DP emblems merged onto his face. "I am Wrath and these are my comrades Gluttony and Pride," he introduced himself and this team to Danny.
"And?" questioned Danny.
"And we are here to escort you to Lord Dan," answered Wrath as his teammates moved towards Danny's sides. "Please, follow me," he requested.
"Lead the way," said Danny as he followed the fanatic.
Over at the remains of the Nasty Burger, Dan stood at the front as he waited for Danny. Despite not caring for the place in the slightest, Dan figured that the Nasty Burger would be a good enough place for them to start their fight. He held up his right arm and looked at the blade that was on his arm. Grabbing the base of the blade, Dan ripped it off of his forearm and held it like a sword. The base of the blade dug into the palm of his hand as ectoplasm seeped out of the wound. Soon the base started to turn into a handle and the blade began to glow an eerie green before turning blood red.
Dan smirked at the sight of his new sword before switching it to his right hand. As the sword went to his right hand, Wrath, Gluttony, and Pride had arrived with Danny so that Dan and his younger self can finish what they had started.
"My lord," said Wrath as he kneeled before Dan along with Gluttony and Pride. "We have brought Danny Fenton to you," he added.
"So I see," commented Dan. "Good work, now see to it that no one interferes with my battle with him," he ordered.
"As you command Lord Dan," said Wrath as he and his comrades vanished from the area.
"Nice guys," commented Danny in a sarcastic tone. "I'm surprised you would even have followers," he added.
"You'd be surprised with how loyal ghosts can be when you free them from someone who imprisoned them," replied Dan.
"Fascinating," said Danny as he formed an axe in his right hand.
The axe wasn't too big, only large enough for someone to wield with one hand. The head of the axe was double-bladed like that of a Viking's axe. Danny stared at Dan as the green axe continued to glow neon green. Dan smirked at Danny as he pointed his sword at Danny.
"Now it's time for us to finish what we started a few years ago," said Dan as he charged at Danny.
"Yes, it is," agreed Danny as he charged at Dan.
As Danny charged at Dan, he turned back into his ghost form and sped faster towards his foe. The sword and axe clashed causing the two warriors to stop as they tried to push each other before jumping away from each other. Dan swung his sword causing a wave of ectoplasm to fly towards Danny. The younger warrior leapt over the wave of ectoplasm and arched his axe over his head. Danny let out a yell as he swung the axe down towards Dan's head, but Dan used his sword to block the attack. The two of them glared at each other for a moment before Dan pushed Danny away so that he would stand up.
Danny stumbled backwards for a bit before stopping himself. He glared at Dan for a brief moment before the ectoplasm axe vanished before charging at Dan once again. Dan fired off another wave of ectoplasm from his sword at Danny again, but Danny slid under the wave of ectoplasm before back spring onto his feet again. As soon as he got to his feet, Danny launched himself at Dan after boosting his speed with his ghost powers.
Danny tackled Dan to the ground causing his older self to lose his grip on the sword. Dan tried to get back up but Danny started punching him in the face repeatedly. After the eighth punch, Dan grabbed Danny's fist and tossed Danny away from him. Danny rolled on the ground before getting back up and formed his axe again. Dan got back up and fired a massive ghost ray at Danny causing the younger warrior to slice the beam with his axe. As the divided beam passed Danny and destroyed a damaged truck and a tree, Dan grabbed his sword and charged at Danny.
Both Danny and Dan clashed once again and tried to overpower each other. Amazingly Danny was holding his own against his older and more muscular self.
"This is amazing isn't it Danny?" asked Dan as he tried to overpower Danny. "The two of us fighting each other to the death, more powerful than anyone who came before us, we are Gods amongst these meatbags you once vowed to protect!" he declared before finally knocking Danny's weapon to the side so that he could grab Danny by the throat. "Think about it Danny, even if I wasn't here you could have easily ruled over these parasites," he told his younger self.
Danny glared at Dan despite the increasing amount of pressure Dan was putting on his throat.
"I'm just a man with blood and ectoplasm coursing through my veins. No more and no less, but I will use every bit of both to finish this fight," said Danny in a deep tone. "Even if this whole planet has to go up in flames with us!" he yelled as he kicked Dan's chest.
Dan lost his grip on Danny and stumbled backwards for a bit. Danny dropped to the ground before he jumped back up to do a spinning hook kick. Icicles began to form on the back of his calves and pierced through the right side of Dan's face. Dan yelled in pain as he tried to throw Danny off of him, but the younger fighter kept moving his body away from Dan's arms. As Dan continued to struggle, he and Danny started to glow red.
Danny was beginning to transform into his Terazauruzu form and Dan was taking on his own Terazauruzu form as well. The icicles on Danny's leg vanished as his legs became like those of a carnivorous dinosaur. The triceratops like heads appeared on his forearms and the long crest of a pteranodon appeared on top of his now faceless head. Large wings appeared and started flapping while the long split membrane like tail appeared as well.
As Danny's transformation began, Dan's transformation followed with him having similar legs to Danny's. However Dan's forearms were different from Danny's as long shield-like frills grew from his wrists and moved towards his elbows. At the part of the arm shields that grew from his wrists, a long blade grew and extended forward. Dan's suit began to fuse into his body and replaced itself with red scales just like Danny's form. On Dan's shoulders, two reptilian heads resembling Spinosaur type dinosaurs emerged with razor sharp teeth and black eyes. The two heads let out roars while Dan's face vanished and was covered with what appeared to be an outline of a prehistoric flying reptile with its wings hugging Dan's faceless head. The tips of the wings had spikes that faced upwards giving the impression of teeth.
Now in their Terazauruzu forms, Danny kicked himself away from Dan and spread his wings so that he would glide back towards the ground. He spun around and roared at his counterpart, who roared in response. The two charged at each other as they continued their fight, this time it was so that only one Terazauruzu would exist.
Back in the Ghost Zone, Clockwork and two of the Observants watched the battle take place. While Clockwork was impassive as always, the Observants were horrified at the sight of there being two versions of Terazauruzu in the time stream.
"Clockwork, what have you done?!" yelled on of the Observants.
"Now there are two!" yelled the other. "Do you realize what will happen?" he asked.
"Of course, and it is happening as I expected," answered Clockwork.
"The time stream is in grave danger and you're letting this happen?!" yelled the first Observant.
"Have you two forgotten that this is just one branch of the main timeline?" retorted Clockwork. "The events of this branch will only affect the branches that come from this one," he explained. "The main timeline is safe," he assured them. "I merely wish to see how this one will turn out," he finished.
The two Observants had no way to respond to what Clockwork said and simply chose to watch as that is all their kind has ever done.
Back in the human world, Tuck had managed to gather nearly all of the ghosts within Amity Park. The only ones missing happen to be Danny, Dan, Sam, and Samantha. He expected that Samantha had somehow figured out his plan and took her younger self with her so that they could avoid what was about to happen next. He also had Vince, Maddie, and the severely injured Tucker and Star trapped in a cage behind him. He was surprised to see that Star was still alive since the sword of Nemesis was imbedded into her gut. However both Star and Tucker were unconscious due to their wounds. It didn't matter to him, but the sword was a welcome addition to his plan.
At the moment, Tuck was watching the fight between Danny and Dan on his monitor. He smirked as the two continued their battle.
"Excellent, those fools will exhaust themselves with their meaningless fighting leaving them vulnerable to my ultimate weapon," boasted Tuck. "I truly am a genius," he bragged.
"More like a coward," barked Vince causing Tuck to turn around to face the man.
"Oh really," started Tuck. "I'll have you know that I went through a lot of trouble organizing this whole thing and had to take painstaking effort to adjust my plan because of changes I had not expected," he told the human.
"Trouble would have been you actually fighting either of them face to face like a true fighter," countered Vince.
"Silence!" yelled Tuck as he glared at Vince. "What would you know about me?" he questioned.
"Not much, but I can see why my nephew thinks of your younger self and by that extension you as a coward," retorted Vince.
"So what?" snapped Tuck as he turned around. "Soon I will be victorious and I will be rid of Dan and his younger self once and for all," he declared.
"Why?" asked Vince. "What have they ever done to you?" he continued.
"They are more powerful than me!" yelled Tuck as he turned to glare at Vince. "Ever since that accident that gave Danny his ghost powers, I've been reduced to nothing more than a second rate sidekick. I knew it since the day Danny started his superhero career: the ghosts he fought, the people he saved, the praise he was receiving. I could have gotten all of that just as easily if I had entered that portal," he continued.
"That's a lie!" yelled Maddie. "My son died in that portal, and the vile ghost Danny Phantom took his place," she cried out.
"You don't get it, do you woman," said Tuck. "Your son never died, he was fused with ectoplasm and was given the abilities of a ghost," he explained. "It could have happened to anyone, and I missed my chance to gain them," he continued.
"And what would you have done if you were the one who received those powers?" asked Vince.
"Simple, I would have done what Danny had done but I would have done it better," answered Tuck.
"How so?" asked Vince.
"For starters, those who I would rescue would be those who deserve my rescue. The ghost I would have fought would have been conquered in the first battles, and of course I would have gotten the sexiest of the woman of Amity Park," listed Tuck.
After hearing those answers Vince started to laugh. It wasn't the kind of laugh you hear from people who heard a funny joke, no it was the kind of laugh that mocks a person. The sound of Vince's laughter shocked Tuck and Maddie as it echoed throughout the room causing Star and Tucker to regain consciousness.
"Stop laughing!" yelled Tuck. "Tell me how that is even funny!" he demanded.
"It's funny because you're nothing but a glory hound," replied Vince. "A cowardly glory hound," he clarified.
"Shut up!" yelled Tuck as he turned around once again. "Time to begin the Judgment Day protocol!" he declared.
Outside of Axiom Labs, all of the ghosts were standing outside with collars on their necks. The collars began to beep and sent a jolt into each ghost. The robots stood next to the ghosts and started to grab the ghost next to them. Suddenly the ghosts started to float into the air and gather around each other. The robots continued to hold onto the ghosts as they began to connect to each other. All of the ghosts started to take in a new form as their bodies meshed together along with the robots. The unified form of a massive amount of ghosts and machines started to expand in size until it form what appeared to be some sort of headless demon. The demonic form had no wings, but large claws and legs.
Standing on top of Axiom Labs was the cybernetic Valerie, however this time she was more machine than human. She took to the air to join with the mass of ectoplasm and machines and settled on top of the neck area. Ectoplasm shot out from the base of the neck like tentacles and wrapped around Valerie. The ectoplasm started to form a head that resembled Valerie's head but only more demonic with the 'hair' looking like horns that swooped down and four slits where the mouth would be. The massive being let out a yell that could be heard for miles.
Outside of Amity Park, the National Guard and the few remaining GIW agents saw the massive cyber ghost and started to panic. News crews that tried to get close to the ghost shield had their cameramen recording the massive giant. No one knew what it was but they all were hoping that the ghost shield will keep it inside Amity Park.
Back inside Axiom Labs, Tuck was laughing at the sight of his greatest achievement while the humans watched in horror.
'That thing is massive,' thought Vince as he and everyone else looked on in fear.
Back outside of the ruins of the Nasty Burger, Danny and Dan were still locked in combat. They would have continued but they felt the massive amount of ectoplasm and turned to see the gigantic cyber ghost that towered over the buildings.
"What the Hell is that thing?" asked Danny.
"It's Tuck's final ditch effort to kill me," answered Dan.
"Something like that can't get out of this city," said Danny as he started walking towards the direction of the cyber ghost.
"Where do you think you're going?" questioned Dan. "In case you have forgotten, we have some unfinished business to attend to," he told Danny.
"If that thing gets out of the city, who knows what it will do to the human world," said Danny.
"And what makes you think I care?" questioned Dan.
"You don't, but if I go off to face that thing and it manages to kill me, your dream of finishing me off will be meaningless," countered Danny. "You may be able to exist regardless of me dying since you exist outside of time, but the fact that I didn't die by your hands will piss you off," he added.
Dan didn't say anything as Danny took off to face the cyber ghost. Seeing his younger self head off to face death in the eye, Dan took to the air to catch up to Danny. When he caught up to Danny, Dan grabbed his younger self by his left arm. Danny turned around to face Dan and was about to let out a short growl.
"If you want to stop that thing, you'll need to take out the source," said Dan.
"What source?" asked Danny.
"The alternate version of Tucker," answered Dan. "He's in Axiom Labs, get rid of him and this creature will be gone," he explained.
Danny thought about what Dan told him and turned to look at the cyber ghost and then towards Axiom Labs.
"We need someone who can slow that thing down," said Danny before turning to face Dan again. "Think you can handle that by yourself?" challenged Danny.
Dan let out a laugh at Danny's little challenge.
"Have you forgotten that in my timeline, I was the one who single handedly put all life on Earth on the endangered species list?" replied Dan as he floated towards the street below. "You should know that nothing can stand in my way," he boasted.
"I'm counting on that," said Danny as he flew towards Axiom Labs.
Dan watched Danny leave for a moment before turning his attention back to the giant cyber ghost walking towards him. The two heads on his shoulders let out roars as he advanced towards the cyber ghost.
As Dan began his attack on the cyber ghost, Samantha and Sam, who was in her human form, were watching the event unfold. However there was something off about the two that didn't match with the area. For some reason, the colors on Sam and Samantha were replaced with different shades of gray with a little of black on them. Sam turned to look at her older self and she wanted answers.
"What is going on?" started Sam. "How come Danny and Dan can't see us?" she continued.
Samantha didn't say anything as she continued to watch her lover attack the cyber ghost. She knew Dan would be able to hold off the cyber ghost, maybe even destroy it.
"Are you going to say anything?" Sam continued with her questions.
Samantha didn't say anything as she started to follow Danny, who was heading towards Axiom Labs.
"Hey get back here!" yelled Sam before she followed her older self.
Despite Sam's yelling, Samantha ignored her and continued following the younger version of her mate. Once they reached Axiom Labs, the two females watched as Danny ripped the doors off of their hinges before continuing towards Tuck's lab. Sam and Samantha followed behind and watched as Danny tore his way through every defense system that activated.
Inside Tuck's lab, the ghost and the humans watched rip through every heavy metal door that blocked his path. When the sentry guns came online and fired at the red ghost, he used his large red wings to shield himself as he continued walking his way towards them and ripping them off the walls and floor.
The trapped humans watched this in horror as this red ghost made short work of everything that stood in his way. Maddie remembered this ghost from three years ago, and she had hoped to never see it again. Vince was shocked and amazed at the raw power this ghost was displaying, not once did it use any of the basic ghost powers as it tore through everything in its way. Tucker was terrified at the destruction this ghost had caused, he always figured that his future self would have had the top of the line equipment that could handle any ghost that would invade his lab, but clearly the techno-geek was wrong. Star watched and was clearly frightened at the might of this ghost.
Tuck on the other hand was panicking at the display of raw destructive power. He had always feared that Dan would unleash his Terazauruzu and use it on him, but he didn't think that his younger self was just as powerful. Tuck had thought that since Danny was younger, he wouldn't be as strong as Dan in that form. It turned out that he was wrong as the scanners on the monitor displayed that Danny's own power matched Dan in every way.
"It's not possible!" yelled Tuck in disbelief. "He shouldn't be that strong!" he continued. "Why is this happening!?" he cried out.
Before anyone could give Tuck an answer, the steel doors that blocked the entry way to the lab gained a massive dent. Tuck turned to see Terazauruzu kick done one of the doors before he ripped the other door off and toss it behind himself.
Everyone in the room looked at the ghost and took in his reptilian appearance. Maddie recoiled in fear while Star and Tucker tried to hide from the ghostly beast before them. Vince watched the ghost and tried to figure out what it was thinking, but it was difficult since he had no face. Tuck on the other hand was trembling in terror. Terazauruzu started walking towards Tuck which caused the ghost to back away slowly.
Unknown to anyone due to them apparently being unseen, Samantha and Sam also entered the lab and spotted the cage that contained the humans. Samantha started walking towards them, but Sam suddenly appeared in front of her older self.
"Okay, I've had enough of the silent treatment," started Sam. "How about you actually say a fucking word and tell me what is going on," she demanded.
Samantha looked at Sam before turning her gaze towards the humans, and then turning her attention back at Sam. Samantha moved her hands towards her mask and removed it. Sam gasped as the mask fell to the ground; standing right in front of her was herself.
"You're…" started Sam.
"Yes, I am you from the timeline that created Dan," said Samantha.
"But…you're…" stuttered Sam.
"Yes I am," confirmed Samantha before she started walking towards the cage. "Now if we are done playing twenty one questions, we need to get these humans out of here," she told her younger self.
"Why would you care what happens to them?" asked Sam as she watched her older self.
"I don't, but it's better if they don't get in the way," replied Samantha.
"Why…?" started Sam before she shook her head. "Never mind, but more importantly how come no one has noticed us?" she asked.
"I placed us in what I refer to as a shadow realm," answered Samantha. "We're here in the same place as everyone but in a different plain of existence," she explained as she opened a portal.
In the human realm, the humans in the cage saw a portal appear behind them. Vince and Maddie stood in front of the two injured young adults so that they could try to protect them. They watched as two figures exited the portal and stood in front of them, it was Sam and Samantha. Maddie tensed up at the sight of the ghost woman who had beaten her while Vince recognized Sam.
"Sam," said Vince in surprise as he took in the girl's appearance. "You've grown a little," he commented.
"Thank you Mr. Fenton," replied Sam. "We need to get out of here," she told them. "Danny will take care of that guy," she added.
"Where is Danny?" asked Vince before turning his attention back to the two ghosts that were outside of the cage. "Wait…are you saying that red ghost is…?" he questioned.
"Yes, that is Danny," answered Sam as she looked at her mate. "But we need to get out of here now," she told them once again.
"You heard the lady, let's get out of here," said Vince as he helped Tucker up while Sam helped Star.
"No, I refuse to accept the help of ghosts," declared Maddie.
"You don't have much of a choice Maddie," argued Vince.
"I rather stay here and die with dignity than allow a disgusting piece of ectoplasm touch me," said Maddie in anger.
Vince was about to argue with his sister-in-law, but Samantha appeared in front of Maddie and punched her in the gut. The one armed woman lost consciousness and fell into Samantha's arms.
"No more distractions, we're leaving now," said Samantha who left no room for arguments.
The group slowly headed into the portal and vanished from the lab along with the portal. Tuck, who was so busy backing away from Danny finally noticed his prisoners were missing. He would have yelled out in frustration but he had Danny to worry about.
Back outside, Dan was fighting off the cyber ghost. The giant mecha-ghost threw out its right fist at him, but Dan caught it with his claws. The blades on his forearms pierced through the hand, and Dan started to push the giant back. The cyber ghost hissed in pain as Dan continued to force the hand back just before Dan ripped his blades off of the cyber ghost's hand. Two random ghosts flew out of the hand and dropped to the ground. Dan was about to attack but the cyber ghost grabbed him with its other hand.
The cyber ghost tried to crush Dan with its hand and it looked like it was succeeding. However, Dan broke free by ripping the hand apart with his blades, claws, and the dinosaur heads on his shoulders. Ghosts that formed the hand started falling towards the ground; among those ghosts was Dani who was unconscious much like the other ghosts. After breaking free, Dan started to head towards the chest and began to carve into the body with his blades. He laughed as he continued to cut the cyber ghost down, enjoying it a little too much.
Back in Tuck's lab, the evil ghost had unleashed his biomechanical ghost women and gave them the order to attack and kill Danny. The biomechanical version of Kitty charged at Danny, but Danny caught her by the throat and ripped her head off with little effort. The body of the biomechanical Kitty dropped onto the ground and Danny crushed it with his left foot. His claws dug into the mechanical body as he threw the head away. The Desiree machine flew towards Danny, but spike horns on his right forearm extended and pierced the machine in its cleavage. Danny flung his arm to the side releasing the fake Desiree causing it to crash into a wall and break into pieces. The fake Ember tried to attack Danny with its guitar, but Danny grabbed its head and crushed it.
Tuck watched the whole thing in terror as he backed away again. He should have known that there was nothing he could do to stop this monster that was making its way towards him. He should have known that his plans were doomed to fail, and he should have known that his destruction would be painful. However, Tuck wasn't about to go down that easily as he activated another machine of his.
A large container shot out from the ground and enclosed Danny. The Terazauruzu enhanced Danny let out a roar in anger as he tried to claw and punch his way out of the container. Tuck let out a sinister laugh as he approached the container.
"Give it up boy, there is no way you will get out of there," said Tuck as he approached the container. "So just give up," he added.
Danny responded to Tuck's words by punching right through the container, missing Tuck's face by an inch. The ghost freaked out a little but regained his composure and glared at the hole.
"Fine then, I didn't plan on using this on you but you've left me no choice," said Tuck as he electronically activated the container. "Let's see what happens when I recreated the accident that gave you your ghost powers huh?" he told Danny.
Danny started to feel electricity and ectoplasm begin to form around him. He didn't know what to expect and that worried him.
Back outside of Axiom Labs, Sam, Samantha, and Vince set down the ones they carried down onto the ground. They were back inside Fenton Works thanks to a portal Samantha opened and right now Sam and Vince were worried about other survivors that need to be saved.
"Sam, where's Danielle?" asked Vince.
"I don't know," answered Sam as she began to worry about her mate's clone.
"We need to find her," said Vince as he started to head for the door.
"Don't bother, chances are she is now a part of that monstrosity that Tuck created," said Samantha. "The only way to save her is for Tuck to be destroyed," she told them.
"What do you mean?" asked Sam.
"Knowing Tuck, he has linked himself to that abomination because he would have tried to capture you and me and have us fused into that thing so that our respective lovers wouldn't destroy him without us dying a long with it," explained Samantha.
"So what you're saying is that any ghost that is connected to that thing will die if Tuck is killed?" questioned Sam.
"I would guess so," answered Samantha.
Vince and Sam looked down in sorrow thinking about the ghosts that were trapped in that thing.
As Samantha explain what would happen to the ghosts trapped inside the cyber ghost. Dan was continuing his battle against the giant abomination. He was starting to get tired and most of his body was torn up. His right arm was stripped of its reptilian features and looked like only bones remained. The left dinosaur head was missing its lower jaw and ectoplasm was pouring out of him. But Dan was not ready to go down just yet, not without taking this cyber ghost with him.
"You think you can defeat me? You think you are capable of destroying me!?" yelled Dan. "I cannot be defeated, there is nothing that can destroy me," he started to say. "I am indestructible, I am the destroyer, I am the dominator, I am the embodiment of fear and power," he continued as red ectoplasm began to form with in the mouths of the two dinosaur heads despite one of them missing a jaw. "I AM TERRORSAURUS!" he shouted as he fired the two massive beams of ectoplasm into the chest of the cyber ghost.
Back inside Tuck's lab, the ghost shouted in anger as he saw his cyber ghost get hit by those two massive blasts.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" yelled Tuck as he angrily walked towards the container. "I don't know how he did that, but I know that it is impossible for him to have that much power," he ranted as he got close to the hole. "I'll just have to destroy you which should put an end to him as well," he continued. "After all, the two of you are still the same person," he mentioned with a laugh as the container reached full power.
Inside the container, Danny could feel the electricity and ectoplasm affect him. He glared at the hole he made and saw Tuck's face. The ghost continued to laugh as if he believed he was going to win. He was not prepared as Danny's right arm shot out of the container and grabbed the ghost by the neck.
Tuck began to panic as he tried to turn intangible but nothing happened. He tried to free himself with his own strength but Danny was clearly stronger than him. He tried to electronically abort the activation of the portal that would form inside the container but it was too late.
The ectoplasm and electricity activated and unleashed a surge of power into Danny's body. The surge continued through Danny's body and into Tuck's. Tuck screamed in agony and horror as the power of the newly formed portal became too much for his body. Tuck felt his body break away into pieces which caused him to scream even more as he tried out for help.
As for Danny he continued to hold onto Tuck until an enormous white light engulfed the lab. The light continued and engulfed everything in sight. Axiom Labs was covered in light, the surrounding area, the remains of Casper High, Fenton Works, the ruins of the Nasty Burger, the destroyed city of Amity Park was engulfed.
Back in the Ghost Zone, the inhabitants started to notice that everything was starting to fade. The ghosts began to panic as they tried to save themselves from what was going on. Inside Clockwork's tower, the master of time and the two Observants watched as the event spiraled out of control.
"What is happening Clockwork!?" yelled one of the Observants.
"The beginning of something new," answered Clockwork with a smile on his face.
Indeed Clockwork was right as the human world and the Ghost Zone started to merge into one realm. All over the world, people were seeing strange things appear and ghost popping up everywhere. The humans and ghosts had no idea what was going on but they all panicked just the same. Suddenly everything on the planet was engulfed by that white light.
When the light cleared, everything had changed while looking the same. Inside Axiom Labs, the container that had trapped Danny was ripped open and sitting in a chair was Danny back in his human form.
He looked down at the floor holding on to something. It was a small picture of him with Sam and Tucker by his sides. The three of them were smiling at the camera without a care in the world.
Author's note: Well that it, the end to Hunting Ground of Chaos. It has been a crazy story but it is over. Well not really, there is still the epilogue that needs to wrap up everything. However, it won't be posted here because I decided that the epilogue should be its own one-shot because of the title I have for it. I know that there are going to be plot holes that may not be filled up but it's not easy writing something like this and expect everything to be perfect. Regardless I enjoyed writing this story, but it must come to an end. But I do have other stories to work on such as Danny's Mansion and Kamen Rider Phantom.
