Okay, it's been a while since I updated one of my other stories! Sorry for the wait I must say. Anyways, let's start this chapter!

A couple of days later…

Rio walked down the familiar hallways, she was beginning to familiarize herself with the tower. It was a big place and to think there were four more buildings gave her a headache.

"Hey Rio-neechan."

Rio turned around and smiled, "Hey Haruto, no school?"

"Nope, school's coming to an end in about… one week I believe." He said with a grin.

"Cool, well, what are you planning for the summer?" She asked.

"I dunno… oh isn't it Slyvn's wedding?" Haruto asked.

"Oh yeah… do you know where it is?" Haruto asked.

"Not yet… let's go ask your brother."

"Where is he anyways?" He asked.

"Probably in his room." Rio said.

"I'm going to go study for some exams, sorry Nee-chan." He said as he walked away. Rio nodded as she walked the other direction.

"Hey Kaito" Rio said as she knocked on his door.

"Come in"

Rio opened the door and peeked her head through, "Hey Kaito?" she asked as she watched him turn away from his computer to face her, "Yes?" he asked.

"Where is Slyvn's wedding?" She asked.

"Um… I think it was somewhere in the tropical areas." Kaito said.

"Oh okay, mind if I come in?" she asked.

Kaito stared at her but eventually nodded as he turned back to the computer screen. Rio walked in and looked over his shoulder, "What are you doing?" she asked.

"Analyzing the errors of the digital sequence in one of the labs computer mainframe's software." He said.

Rio blinked, "So you're scanning for errors in the computer…?" she asked.

"In simpler words, yes." He said as Rio nodded. Rio glanced around his room which was pretty neat except for one table which was crowded with loose papers. "What's that desk for?" she asked.

Kaito glanced at the desk, "Just some loose paper that I haven't had time to organize."

"I could do it for you." She said.

Kaito glanced up at her, "You sure?" he asked.

"Why not? I could be your secretary or something if you'd like." She said with a shrug.

"I don't need a secretary." Kaito said.

Rio glanced at the table, "I think you will…" she said with a smile as she glanced at him. "So?"

Kaito sighed as she placed a hand on his shoulder, "Please? Besides it gives me a job anyways."

Kaito sighed, "Fine… we'll see how it goes."

"No payment please." She said.

Kaito narrowed his eyes, "Why not?"

"Because I'm staying here aren't I?" She asked as she brushed her bang back.

"Are you suggesting on moving in?" he asked.

"Why not? I'm going to be your secretary and besides, it's easier to stay in touch with you instead of having to travel from the other side of town." She said with a grin.

"Fine then… Haurto's going to be happy…" Kaito said with a smile as he shook his head.

"Once I finish filing let's go grab some lunch hm?" she asked with a smile.

Kaito nodded, "Sure, I'll show you how to file the papers first." He said as she nodded as they made it to the desk.

Rio finally finished filing the rest of the messy heap of papers. "Soo… do you normally work in here?" she asked.

"No, I work in one of the other buildings. At lunch, I can show you where you may work and then we can go buy you some office supplies." Kaito said as he turned off the computer. "Well, let's go." He said as Rio grinned at him.

"This building can get hectic at sometimes…" Kaito said as he scratched the back of his head. Rio nodded, "Since it's lunch, this is when it's not… very hetic." She said.

"Yup…" he said as they exited the elevators. "I'll guide you through the first few weeks then you can start on a regular schedule." He said as they turned a corner.

"Okay with me." She said as they turned another corner. "How much longer?" she asked.

"Not much, there's a pretty big empty room that I like. I think you can manage." He said as they walked through some sliding doors. "This is the area I work in". Kaito pointed to a door on the left, "That's where you can find any paperwork that has been sent to me. Bring them to me and I'll either keep it or tell you to file it." he said as she nodded.

Rio glanced at the empty desk in the front, "What's that for?"

"Oh. That's where Viola works, she's the one who works at the front desk, I'll send her a message later to know that you've joined us." He said as he pointed to another door, "That's where I work. 367A, you'll work in 367B." He said as he pointed to the door next to it. "You go check it out, meanwhile, I'll register you a profile into the data." He said as he walked back to the front desk.

Rio nodded as she walked towards the door. She opened the door and nodded, this was a nice room. This was probably a corner room because it had windows all over the front and the right of her. It was also pretty big like Kaito had mentioned. She touched the pale gray walls, "Repaint, furniture, maybe some blinds…" she said as she glanced over and saw there was a glass plane window on the wall so she could see through to Kaito's room.

She glanced through it. She then felt someone tap her shoulder as she gasped and quickly jerked around.

Kaito softly chuckled at her quick movement, "Shocked much?" he asked.

"Do you mean from you or the room?"

"Both" he said.

"Yes and yes." She said. "It's a really nice view."

"Yeah, the glass window connecting our rooms is just for the same rooms. You can open the window pane," he said as he slid the window, "Just so you can have a little chat when you're bored." He said as Rio smiled. "Anything you need?" Kaito asked.

"Well…"

"I know, redecorating." Kaito said with a small smile as Rio chuckled, "Defiantly." She said with a smile, "Lunch, then we can go shopping." She said as she wrapped her arm around his.

Rio smiled as she drank the last of her smoothie and glanced up at Kaito, "Ready?" he asked her as she nodded.

Rio gazed through all the furniture for the offices. "Like anything?" he asked her. Rio nodded as she pointed at a simple white desk. "Okay…" he said as he glanced at it, "Not a bad choice. Normally I expect girls to go for the flashy stuff." He said.

"I'd rather save that for my room. Till then, you can buy the desk and maybe a matching self. Then I'll go buy some knickknacks. Oh, the building allows food right?"

Kaito nodded, "Yeah, we have a cafeteria too. Doesn't mean it's appetizing though." He said with a shrug.

"Okay, meet up later at the parking lot… at 2:30?" She asked as she glanced down at the watch.

"Sure, two hours." He said with a nod, "I'll probably leave earlier and bring the desk and chair over to the office and call some people to set it up. Then I'll come back to either pick you up or join you." He said as Rio smiled. "See ya!" she said as she walked out of the store.
