Caroline leaned back in her computer chair, studying the words in the book Deaton had supplied her with carefully. She was trying to learn all she could about the pack mentality. A lot of what the book stated she had experienced already. A strong sense of loyalty towards the Alpha, she knew that Isaac felt he owed Derek his life, and Caroline, while she wasn't experiencing it, felt like she did owe him, but that may have been more because she felt how he felt on a daily bases. Sadly though, there was no mention of what she was. The book did mention a few humans with supernatural abilities, like witches, and something called a banshee, that would work with packs, but Caroline highly doubted she was either one of those things, since the only supernatural thing she could do was feel what everyone in her pack felt, and as far as she knew that was because of Derek marking her.

The pack had managed to get through the rest of the week without any murders, or arrests, luckily, and now Caroline was spending her Saturday night brushing up on her pack building skills. She wanted to figure out a way to weaken the connection she had to the pack, or at least a way to control it so she wasn't constantly consumed with the wolves' emotions. Derek, who she'd seen quite a bit of that week on account of him forcing her to sneak out late at night, had two main emotions. Anger. And Impatience. He got frustrated with her quickly, and she could always feel when he got to his edge of patience, which was pretty funny to her.

Isaac on the other hand, was still feeling things over his father's death. Caroline was glad the man was out of his life, even if Isaac was an orphan now, at least he wasn't being abused… she still had nightmares of her father abusing her because of him. But, since being turned into a werewolf, and since getting a new found freedom, Isaac had gotten pretty cocky, and was using being a 'fugitive' to build himself a new bad boy image.

The two, despite Isaac hiding out from the police, spoke a lot and occasionally were able to spend time together. She was very aware how much Stiles's hated it, but Caroline rather liked it. Stiles being jealous was something she enjoyed seeing, but she was just hoping his jealousy wasn't going to come in between them, but so far if anything it had only strengthened what they had, since Stiles was doing his best to keep her around, not that Caroline had plans of going anywhere.

"Psst," Caroline made a face, turning around in her chair, laughing some as she saw Stiles outside her window, tapping on the glass, "Why is this locked?!" He asked as she closed the book, and set it down in the chair.

"To keep freaks like you out," She said as she walked over to the window and unlocked it, pushing it up with him, "What are you doing?" She asked as he climbed through the window, smiling at her messy appearance.

"Kidnapping you," He sang as he stood in front of her, his arms wrapping around her waist "Go ask your mom if you can spend the night at Lydia's, then come get in the jeep." He demands, Caroline making a face making him sigh and kiss her briefly.

"But I'm reading," She grumbles, and Stiles sent her a look.

"Caroline, come on."

"But it's a really interesting book," She said, smiling when Stiles let out a sigh, and rolls his eyes.

"Caroline come on, I have this whole date rigged up, now go, and wear your uggs, it's kind of cold." He said, and Caroline smiles at him, nodding her head.

"Fine," She pouts, sighing as she turned to walk over to her closet, "But this date better be a really awesome one, since you're making me wear my uggs in public." She jokes as she pushed her foot into the boot, pulling her socks up, glancing back over at Stiles as he smiles.

"We won't be in public, now hurry, the jeep's parked down the road some." He exclaimed, pointing towards as he hurried back over to the window, Caroline nodding as she stood up, and pulled her baggy wool sweater over her shoulders, letting it hang open.

"Yeah, yeah." She sighs, snatching her scarf off the door knob, and watched as Stiles closed the window as he left, smiling at him through the glass before hurrying out of her room, running into Scott in the hall.

"What are you two planning?" He asked, smiling teasingly as Caroline rolls her eyes, wrapping the scarf around her neck.

"Apparently Stiles has a date planned," She said as Scott nods, "Lots of hot sex, in the woods." She said purposely, laughing as he audibly gagged, his head shaking.

"Sorry I asked," He groaned, Caroline laughing as she jogs down the stairs, Scott following after her, "Typical cover story?" He asks, Caroline nodding as she glances at herself in the mirror, pulling her hair out of the bun on the top of her head, and snatched Scott's beanie off the coat rack.

"Is she not home?" She asked, turning to him as she pulled the beanie on her head, Scott nodding, "Alright, well, tell her I'll be home tomorrow, and she can text me, I'm at Lydia's." She said, smiling and Scott nods.

"Alright, be careful okay? The hunters ar-,"

"Are not going to attack two human teenagers making out in the woods, Scott," She laughs her head shaking, "Don't worry, Stiles's probably rented some spot for camping, it's not like we're going out walking around." She explained, and Scott sighs.

"Right, you're right, but still, be careful." He said, and Caroline nods, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"See you in the morning Scotty," She said and hurried out the front door. She shivered once the crisp air hit her, her breathe visible in the cool night. She smiles to herself, glancing around her front lawn before hurrying down the porch steps and onto the sidewalk. She walked down the road some, before spotting Stiles's jeep, and jogged over to it, throwing the door open.

"Well," She laughs as she climbs in, pushing the blankets that were taken up the front seat towards Stiles, glancing in the back, "Is that a tent too?" She asks as she shuts the door, Stiles nodding his head as he took off towards the preserve..

"Tent case, I already put it up, like I said, whole date, already planned and in motion." He said, smiling over at her and Caroline returns the smile.

"How sweet," She murmured, biting her lip as Stiles played with the car heater, music playing softly through the speakers.

Caroline stayed silent on the drive to the preserve, feeling nervous for some reason, and she didn't really get why. It's not like she'd never been alone with Stiles before, they were alone together, a lot, but this was different. This was dating, this was her first official date with Stiles, and she was actually genuinely nervous about it.

Stiles glances over at her, and she can feel his eyes on her, making her already red cheeks from the cool air become even redder, and she didn't like he could do that. But he'd always been able to do that, and now he was just aware that he could. "You cold?" He asks, and Caroline shakes her head, smiling over at him.

"No, no I'm perfect." She mutters, ignoring the flip flopping going on in her chest when Stiles reached over to take her hand in his over the pile of blankets in between them, his thumb stroking the back of it.

"Yeah, you are." He said, and she blushes, her eyes rolling as she sends him a look, and he laughs.

"That was so incredibly cheesy," She laughs, and Stiles smiles shrugging, "God, you're such a cheeseball, how did I not realize that, I totally wouldn't have agreed to date you if I knew." She said, and Stiles smiles, his eyes rolling.

"Liar," He said as he pulled into the reserve parking, shutting the car off, "Come on, we gotta carry these blankets over there, and I brought a present." Caroline raised an eyebrow, watching as Stiles shuffled around for a minute before holding his arms up, a bottle of vanilla flavored Smirnoff in his hand, and a bag of marshmallows in the other.

"Vodka and s'mores?!" Caroline laughs excitedly, Stiles grinning, proud of himself and she unbuckles herself, moving across the blankets to plant a kiss to his lips, "You're the greatest." She mutters, smiling at him before pulling back and climbed out of the car.

Caroline helped Stiles gather the rest of the blankets, being sure that she got to carry the vodka as they made their way towards the camp site, Caroline laughing when she spotted that.

"That's the dinkiest tent I've ever seen," She said smiling as Stiles ran over to it, and threw the flap open, tossing the blankets he had in as Caroline stopped by the fire pit.

"It's not dinky, it's romantic." He said as he took the blankets from her, and tossed them into the small tent, but left a few out on the log in front of the pit.

"When did you even set it up?" She asks as she sits down on the log, watching as Stiles got to work of lighting the logs in the pit.

"An hour or so before I came over, "He said, his hand in the logs, trying to light a pile of paper in the middle of them with a small lighter, "I had to stop back home to get the blankets cause I forgot them, and dad's at the station still, so I just left a note saying I was spending the night at your place with Scott."

Caroline nods, smiling, "You know your dad's going to ask my mom if your there right?" She asks, Stiles stopping, turning to look at her.

"Shit." He said, Caroline laughing as she rolls her eyes, and opened up the bottle of vodka.

"Stupid," She said, smiling still as she took a sip from the bottle, Stiles finally getting the fire to light and moving to sit in front of her, Caroline spreading her legs so he could lean back against her, and handed him the bottle of alcohol.

"Our first official date," Stiles hums, taking a gulp of the bottle as Caroline hands him the cap, and sets in on the ground beside them, "I get to get you drunk, and cuddle up next to you for body warmth."

Caroline nods, laughing some, "You planned everything perfectly to get laid," She teased, Stiles rolling his eyes as he leans his head back, looking up at her.

"I don't need to plan to get laid," He says, Caroline rolling her eyes, "Plus, this isn't about getting laid," He said, Caroling smile some, "This is about me trying to woo you."

"Well, consider me wooed." She whispered as she leaned down, pressing her lips to his forehead, and he smiles up at her before standing, "Come on, let's dance and get drunk." He demands, Caroline laughing as he stood, and forced her up.

"There's no music," She said, Stiles shrugging and Caroline let out a laugh when he started to pelvic thrust in front of her, throwing his arms out, before wrapping the around her waist and picked her up, spinning around as she let out a girlish squeal.

xXxXxXx

Caroline closed her eyes, rubbing the bridge of her nose as she fought back the headache she'd been sporting for the past few days. Derek had another pack member, but he was refusing to tell her who it was, he told her that she'd have to figure it out herself, that she should use her new found 'powers' to figure out who the wolf was. But Caroline couldn't even decipher between her own emotions, let alone Derek's, Isaac's, Lee's and now this new wolf. It was way to much.

With the limited information Deaton provide her, and her new lack of trust in Argent, she didn't have any information on what she was going through, and how to deal with it. All she knew was that she could possibly, most likely, not be human. She never really wished that Peter was alive, but lately she did kind of think about asking him questions, if he was around, he could at least give her the answers she needed, but he'd probably kill everyone she loved before answering them.

Caroline sighs, her head falling forward, resting against her folded arms as she started to doze off in her English class, feeling Stiles's hand on her back.

"You okay?" He whispered, and she raised her head, giving him a small smile.

"Headache," She mumbles, lowering her head to the table again and he sighs, his hand squeezing her shoulder gently.

"I'm sure Lydia's got some Tylenol," He said in a worried tone, his hand moving to her forehead, Caroline making a face and turning her head, nuzzling into her arms, "Same headache you had the other night?"

Caroline nods, glancing up as the teacher started to go on a tangent again, "Yeah, I just can't seem to shake it." She mumbles, and Stiles frowns, his head nodding slowly as he leans back in his chair.

"You know, I hate to say this, and I really do… but maybe we should ask Derek about it." Caroline visibly winces at the comment, and she knows that Stiles saw, since his chair fell forward, and his hands went to her back, trying to soothe her, "Unless you don't want to, I know… I don't wan-,"

"It's fine," She says sitting up, making him stop talking, because he didn't need to explain himself, and Caroline really just felt guilty because she already spoke to Derek, "I'm fine, I think, I think my period's just starting soon." She mumbles, another lie, but smiles when Stiles makes a face her eyes rolling, "God you're such a twelve year old." She laughs as she scoots her chair back and threw her hand up in the air.

"May I use the bathroom?" She asked when the teacher's eyes fell on her, and smiles when the man reluctantly let her go, "I'll see you at lunch." Caroline said to Stiles, "I'm going to the nurse too." She explained when he looked confused pressing a quick kiss to his cheek before she hurried off with her stuff.

Caroline sighs, her head shaking as she stopped at her locker to switch out her books, a permanent frown gracing her lips at the thought of having to lie to Stiles, yet again. She could sense that it was only going to lead to something bad happening, lying to Stiles wasn't want she wanted to do, but she had too, to protect him, and to keep him from being overprotective of her.

Caroline shut her locker, and turned to head down the hall when she ran into someone, causing her books to fall, "Excuse me." She snapped, glaring at the person who had been standing in her way. She raised an eyebrow, her lips pursing as she stared at the busty blonde before her, the girl smiling far to brightly at her.

"You're chipper," She said, Caroline glaring as she bent down to pick up her binder, the girl bending down and snatched the photo off the ground that fell from it, "Ooh, he's cute, weird, I thought you two hated each other?" She asked, dangling the Polaroid picture of her and Stiles from their camping date.

"Who the fuck are you?" Caroline said, snatching her photo back and stuffed it back into the plastic of her binder, the girl laughing some, "Why are you in my way still anyways, I need to go to the nurse."

The girl's eyes roll, "God, you really are bad at your job." She said, Caroline sending her a look, before her face settled, and she grimaced at the new flicker of emotions.

"New wolf?" She mumbles, the girl smiling, "A she wolf, sexy." Caroline says, her head shaking as the girl smiles at her.

"You really don't recognize me do you?" The girl laughs, Caroline making a face, her head shaking.

"No, I don't, should I?" She asks, and the girl rolls her eyes.

"Yes, considering you and your brother made sure I was okay the other day when I fell of the rock wall." She said, and Caroline's eyes widened as she really looked at the girl now.

"Erica?" She asks, the girl smiling once again and gave her a single nod, "Wow… you look great Erica." She said, shaking her head and Erica smirks.

"I know," She says cockily, and Caroline wonders if all baby werewolves turned into cocky bitches, "So, where are you off to?" Erica asked, glancing around the hallway, "Abandoning your boyfriend?" She asks, and Caroline sends her a look.

"Okay, Erica," She sighs, "I don't know if Derek gave you the run down about me like I gave him, and Isaac, but my being with the pack is secret." She said, her eyebrow raising when Erica just smiled at her, "Scott doesn't find out, and Stiles most definitely doesn't find out." She said, giving her a fake smile as she nods, "Just so we're clear."

Erica's eyes roll, "or what? You gonna tell me how I'm feeling? I know how I feel Caroline," She said, Caroline glaring not understanding the girl's hostility towards her at all, "I feel great, better than I ever have my entire life, you know, I feel so great that I bet if I ran into Stiles, I could finally get him to pay attention to me." She said jumping forward making Caroline flinch and Erica just smile even more, "I don't like you, I never have, just so we're clear."

Caroline goes to say something, but the bell rings, and Eric pushes her back against the locker, making her binder fall from her hands, "See you tonight, Derek told me to tell you." She said waving her fingers at her before strutting down the hallway and Caroline shot daggers towards the girls back.

"Bitch," Caroline fumed, her head shaking as she bent down to pick up her binder, her head turning when she heard a familiar voice shouting, and she stood up, spotting Jackson pushing Lydia against a wall, and shouting in her face.

"Hey," Caroline shouted grabbing her binder as she stood, Jackson turning to look at her, his eyes rolling as he stormed towards him as he tried to get away, her binder dropping to the ground again as she pushed against his back, "What the fuck is your problem?!" She seethed, Jackson moving towards her.

"Stay away from me Caroline, both of you freaks, just stay the hell away from me!" He said shoving his finger in her face and Caroline scoffed.

"Jacks-, Hey! Asshole get back here!" She screamed as he stormed off, Caroline glaring at his retreating figure before turning to where Lydia was sighing when she was no longer there but running down the hall, "Lydia! Lydia wait!" She shouted grabbing her binder and trying to go after her but was stopped when someone grabbed onto her wrist, "What?" She shouts, turning and her eyes widened when Stiles let go of her hand, looking a little hurt that she snapped at him.

"Oh, Stiles, I'm sorry." She said her head shaking as she moves towards him, "I'm sorry… Jackson, he just." She shakes her head, looking back down the hall where Lydia had disappeared.

Stiles frowns looking in the direction she was, and worried about Lydia himself, "We… we should invite her to the skating rink with us tonight," He said, and Caroline turns to look at him, smiling as she nods.

"She always loved ice skating," She mumbles, Stiles smiling sadly as he gripped her hand again, and led her towards the cafeteria, "She'd be a fifth wheel though…"

"It's Lydia Care, she'd never let herself be any sort of wheel" He said giving her a look and Caroline laughs as she nods.

"She'll make you the fifth wheel," She says and Stiles laughs this time, pressing a kiss to her cheek as she laced their fingers together, the two walking into the cafeteria, "Oh, there's Boyd." She said pointing over to where he sat by himself, waving at him when he looked at her, and reluctantly waved back, "Go get the keys, I'ma go find Scotty."

Stiles nods as Caroline lets go of his hand and hurries through the cafeteria, smiling when she spots her twin and plops down beside him, grabbing his spoon from his hand and stole some of his mashed potatoes, "Caroline, hey!" He groans, Caroline smiling at him as she handed him the spoon back, and he sighs, "Gross."

Caroline rolls her eyes at him as she sets her bag down in front of her and shuffle through her purse, throwing a bag of cookies at him, "What's gross is you actually eating school lunches, all of it is freeze dried or powdered you know." She said as she set her lunch down in front of her, Scott already ripping up the sandwich bag of cookies open.

"Says the one who just stole my powdered mashed potatoes," He counters, Caroline shrugging as she started to eat her salad, Stiles coming over to them, setting the keys down on the table.

"Got em," He said reaching over and stealing one of the cucumbers from Caroline's salad, making her slap his hand away, glaring at him as she chewed, "I'll pick you up right after work tonight and we'll meet up at the rink, cool?" He asks, Caroline nodding taking a sip from Scott's water about to bring up Lydia coming to Scott when both boys got quiet, and stared off towards the door to the cafeteria, Caroline sighing bitterly at the sight of Erica coming in, getting everyone's attention.

"Stiles!" Caroline snapped when her boyfriend's jaw dropped open some when the girl bit into an apple, Stiles quickly looking back to her his face red, Caroline turning to look at Lydia when she placed her hands on the table.

"What the holy hell is that?"

"A bitch," Caroline mutters, Stiles raising an eyebrow at her, Scott sending her a look.

"It's Erica." Caroline rolls her eyes again, and returned to eating her salad, rather angrily now as both boys got up to chase after the she wolf, Lydia glancing over at Caroline before sitting down on the table beside her.

"Someone's bitter," Lydia said, sounding completely normal, despite what had happened in the hall with Jackson, and Caroline shakes her head.

"She cornered me in the hallway, and was… aggravatingly bitchy." Caroline said as she turned to look at Lydia, absolutely livid, "I'm tired of all the assholes today." She said loudly, causing a few people to look at her and Lydia smile placing her hand on her best friend's leg.

"Caroline, anger isn't flattering on you." She said, and Caroline rolls her eyes, "But, anyways, I'm fine." She sighs, head tilting, Caroline nodding, "So thank you for what you did, but you don't need worry about me, that asshole," She said gesturing over to Jackson, "Is the last thing on my mind, and the new slutty one, shouldn't be on your mind either." She said, Caroline smiling as Lydia smirked at her, "You're much prettier anyways, even if you're not as busty."

Caroline scoffed tossing a salad leaf at her, "You're so caring." She said, Lydia shrugging, and Caroline smiles again, "So you're going to the skating rink with me tonight," She said, Lydia raising an eyebrow.

"The skating rink that Allison just told me about for your double date?" Caroline nods.

"Yes, our double date, me you, Scott and Allison. Stiles is just going to carry our bags." She jokes, and Lydia smiles, humming in approval.

"Sounds perfect,"

xXxXxXx

Caroline had the day off, Scott taking over for her shift the animal clinic, and Allison had invited her over to hang out with Lydia before they went to the rink. Caroline was reluctant at first, because she knew what Gerald was capable of, and she didn't want to be around him more than she already was being a staff assistant helping out the office, but she couldn't just say no to Allison… she was one of her best friends and she needed girl time every once in a while.

"I still can't believe you and Scott never went ice skating," Allison whispered, and Caroline shrugs her shoulders, Lydia agreeing with Allison.

"I tried to get her to do figure skating with me when we were kids, but she wasn't up for it." She said, and Allison shakes her head smiling over at Caroline.

"I didn't like the cold okay, I still don't, and the thought of having weapons on my feet always freaked me out." She said, both girls laughing at her and she rolls her eyes, tensing up some when Chris came in.

Caroline relaxed some when he spoke to Allison, and eventually dragged her over to the side to speak to her privately, Caroline frowning as she stood at Lydia's request, and flipped down in the arm chair beside her, letting her best friend snap various pictures of them, before Chris cleared his throat.

"Caroline," Caroline felt her heart drop, and she looks up at the man, and at his smile, "I've got some books for you." He said, and Caroline bit her lip, nodding as she stands, Allison giving her a knowing look before she followed Chis out of her room and down the stairs to where his study was.

"How are the nightmares?" He asks, closing the doors behind him, Caroline shrugging.

"Not as bad," She mumbles, Chris nodding as he walks over to her, his handing going to her shoulder, making her tense up, "If you're gonna kill me do it fast." She said jokingly, jumping some when another person laughed, and she looked up as the chair turned, Gerald sitting there, setting four or so books down on the table.

"We don't kill innocent people," Gerald sad, and Caroline glared, wincing some when Chris's hands brushed against the back of her neck, the bad of his fingers pressing against the five scars on the back of her neck, and he nods to Gerald before he turns to look at her as she pulls away, "Even innocent people working with not so innocent people."

Caroline glared, "Isaac was innocent, and yet you tried to kill him still, how'd that turn out by the way?" She asked, her arms crossing over her chest as Chris sighed, and Gerald smiles.

"I like this one," He said to Gerald pointing to Caroline, "You know, if you weren't already working with the enemy, I'd want you on our side, remind me a bit of my daughter, the one your alpha murdered." He said, and Caroline glared.

"Actually that was Peter, not Derek, and he's dead, thanks to Derek." Caroline said, moving towards the door, but Chris place his hand on her shoulder again, keeping her put.

Gerald stands, taking the books from the table and walks over to her, Caroline standing her ground as the man slowly approached her, "Caroline, I don't know what it is that makes you believe that we're the bad guys, especially after everything those wolves have done to you." He said almost sadly, "And yet here you are, sixteen years old and letting them mark you as their own… tragic."

Caroline felt angry, this time thought it was her own anger and rolls her eyes at the man, "I only associate myself with people who have a cause for the horrible things they do," She said, snatching the books out of the man's hand, "Mr. Argent," She turned to Chris, angry at him, at Gerald, at the entire situation, "Can I go, please?"

"Just one more thing Ms. McCall," Gerald said, Caroline slowly turning back to look at him, "I say this only for your safety, and for your brother's safety, who I'm sure isn't a bad kid, or Isaac for that matter… but what they are, they are monsters, plain and simple… they lose control, and they kill." He said, Caroline pursing her lips, "They are not going to be able to stop themselves, no matter how many times you lock them up… they will kill you."

Caroline nods her head, "I know, they lose control, they get angry and they turn into beasts," She says staring at Gerald, "I can feel it when they do, when they do bad things, sometimes I even dream about it when it happens," She says watching as Gerald raises an eyebrow, "But at least they have an excuse, that they can't always control it, but what's yours? Where's your reasoning behind cutting a man in half?" She stays quiet a minute as Gerald gives her a small smile, and she shakes her head, "You have none, other than stupid human vindication." She said, "I'm sorry Mr. Argent, thank you for the books, but please, leave me alone." She said as she pulled away from him, and stormed out the doors, running into Allison and Lydia on the way.

"Are you okay?" Allison asked quickly, glancing back through the doors as Gerald smiles at her before Chris shut the doors again, "What did they want?" She asks, and Caroline swallows, her head shaking.

"Just to give me some books," She mumbles, holding them up as Allison nods, meeting her gaze, "Come on, let's go." She said, giving Allison a look that told her she'd tell her later, and the turned to Lydia and put on a smile, "Seriously, let's go, time to study for that big test." She said, Allison rolling her eyes as the three left for the skating rink.

xXxXxXx

Caroline had her skates on, trying to balance as she held onto the wall glancing over at Scott and Allison as they got their gear on, and the back at Stiles who offered Lydia a Reeses's cup, and she smiled when she accepted it.

Caroline turned back to the skating arena, her head pounding for some reason, and let out a sigh, jumping some when she felt Stiles's hands on her waist, "You ready?" He asks, Caroline nodding as she glanced back at him, smiling as Lydia came to stop by them.

"You know Care, if you only took those classes with me you wouldn't be so scared," She said taking Caroline's hand, and Caroline glared as she walked with her friend hand in hand to the opening to the rink, Stiles behind.

"I'm not scared, I just don't like the thought of falling." She said, and Lydia nods stepping out on the ice, and gripped Caroline's hand tighter as she put one foot on the ice, and it slid forward, Stiles gripping her arm to keep her from falling, Lydia still holding the other.

"Hey, at least you're not Scott," Stiles said as he stepped out onto the ice, and both him and Lydia tugged Caroline onto the ice, and slid her forward, her knees bent as she bit her lip, and glanced over at her brother as he stepped out, and instantly fell on his ass, making her laugh.

"At least I'm not Scott." She echoes, before letting out a tiny scream when they made her move faster, both of the skating backwards, and pulling her along.

"Just push Care," Lydia laughed, Stiles letting go of Caroline's hand, watching as Lydia took her best friend, "Watch my feet," She says, Caroline glancing down at Lydia's skates as she pushed one foot out in front of the other, moving them forward faster and Caroline nods. Caroline narrows her eyes on her feet, letting go of Lydia's hand, her friend skating off some before stopping, "Skate over here." She said, her hands on her hips and Caroline nods, pushing her feet forward, her arms held out to keep her balance.

"One foot in front of the other," Stiles said from behind her, Caroline nodding as she moved forward successfully, and got at least halfway to Lydia, before falling flat on her ass, hearing Scott's laughter as she glared over at her twin as Allison helped him stand.

"Can't I just get one of those sled things and have you pull me around," Caroline pouted as Stiles skated to a stop beside her, reaching down to help her up, Caroline feeling like a baby dear trying to stand for the first time, her arms wrapping tight around his neck, Stiles laughing, "You're loving this aren't you?" She sighs, and Stiles grins, nodding quickly.

"I love it so much." He admits as he wraps an arm around her waist, "Having you depend on me for dear life is pretty great, ego booster." He mocked, Caroline hitting his chest before letting go of him some to adjust herself, laughing as she watched Lydia spinning around at least a gazillion times.

"Show off," Caroline shouted at her as she finally stopped beaming over at her as she skated back over to them, and took Caroline's hand.

"Come on bambi," She teased, Caroline rolling her eyes before Lydia pulled her forward much faster than she anticipated, her and Stiles toting her along the ice.

Lydia eventually stole Caroline away from Stiles, the two skating around the rink, Stiles watching the from the middle, laughing every time Caroline fell, and Lydia had to pick her best friend up. While Caroline ate ice often, she did it much more gracefully than Scott, and seemed to eventually get the hang of it, and Stiles beamed when she skated, by herself, back over to him, only stumbling some when she finally reached him, and he caught her by her elbow, keeping her from falling.

"Abandoning your date for me?" He asks, the two glancing over at Lydia as she did some tricks, Caroline smiling as she looked back at him.

"What, you jealous of Lydia?" She teased him, Stiles smiling as he takes her hand, the two skating over to the side, and he helped her step off of the ice.

"Just as much as you are," He said back, Caroline giving him a look as she sits down and pulls her skates off, stretching her leg out, "When's your mom get home tonight?" He asks as he sits down beside her, Caroline working on her other skate as she shrugs, before smirking over at him.

"Why?" She asked, turning to look at him as he pulls his skates off, slipping his shoes on, "You got something on your mind?" She teased, moving to rest her legs in his lap, smiling when he gripped her calves and pulled her closer.

"Mmm, Fight Club, popcorn, and a make out session?" He suggests, Caroline smiling as she nods, leaning forward to kiss his jaw, laughing a little when he turned his head, and slipped his fingers into her hair, forcing a kiss to her lips.

"Sounds perfect." She mumbles against his lips, shivering some when his hand moved up her the stockings on her leg, before she pulls back, her head turning towards the blue doors near them.

Caroline hears laughter coming from behind the doors and she grins over at Stiles, "Come on." She grabs his hand and stands up, hurrying through the doors and, jumping into the photo booth just as a picture snapped. Allison and Scott both laugh as she plopped herself down on Allison's lap, throwing her arms around her neck as Stiles sticks his head in to make a face at the camera when other picture snapped.

Caroline stands up, grinning down at the two and winks as they shoo her out, Stiles pulling her out of the booth and into his arms, smiling at her.

"You wanna get some pictures after them?" He asks, pressing his lips to hers.

Caroline nods her head, throwing her arms around his neck, "Yes," She said, pressing a kiss back to his lips, hearing Scott groaning from inside the booth.

"I can hear you making out, and it's gross!" He shouts, Allison laughing as Caroline did, and pushed Stiles back towards the door, "Go get me a Kit Kat." She demands as she pushes him in the direction of the vending machines, Stiles turning back to kiss her once more before jogging over to the machines.

Caroline walked back over to her bag, sitting down to pull her shoes back on when she let out a painful gasp, her hand going to her head, flashes of Peter filling her head.

Caroline's eyes squeeze shut, and she places both hands to her head, leaning forward some as a scream fills the air, and her head snaps up, "Lydia?" Caroline says, wincing as her head continues to pound, and she stands seeing Lydia out on the ice, screaming and sobbing over something, "Lydia!" She says, and runs out on to the house, slipping and catching herself with her hand as she hurries over to her best friend, kneeling down beside her, Stiles already there and holding her.

"Lydia, Lydia hey, it's okay, it's okay." She said as Lydia saw her, and threw her arms around Caroline's neck, sobbing into her shoulder, and Caroline swallows, looking over at Stiles as he shakes his head slowly.

Caroline closes her eyes, wincing a little when flashes of what Lydia must of saw filled her head, and she leaned into her friend some, feeling Stiles's hand going to her back.

"What is it?" He whispered, Caroline shaking her head quickly, standing up, and forcing Lydia to stand, slipping backwards because of her black stockings and the fact she had to skates, or shoes on.

"Nothing, help me get her to the car, we need to leave, we need to go home." She said, tears filling her eyes and Stiles nods quickly, Allison skating over to help them.

Caroline was practically shaking when Allison pulled Lydia from her, promising to get her home safely, before leaving with her. Scott and Stiles both stood near Caroline as she leaned against the Jeep, her head in her hands, and Stiles's purple hoodie wrapped around her, "Caroline what is it? What is wrong?" Scott asked, gripping her hand. Caroline looked like she was in a tremendous amount pain, and he moved forward, his arms wrapping around his sister, "Caroline what is the matter?" He asked, Caroline letting out a shaking breath.

"Nothing, nothing, I'm just cold, and worried about Lydia… and I have this headache, and it just won't go away." She lied, looking over at him, then to Stiles, "Let's all just go home okay, let's just go."

Stiles stares at her for a moment, nodding his head as he fishes his keys from his pocket, and watched as Scott helped his sister. Stiles always knew when Caroline was lying, she was a horrible liar, but what he didn't get was why she was lying to Scott, what could there possibly be going on where she had to lie.

"Why Boyd?" Caroline whispered to Isaac, and he gripped her hand, pulling her further behind the school, shaking his head. He had decided to drop by and inform her on what was going down, and how Derek wanted her to be at the skating rink tonight since she bailed on them the night before.

"Because Boyd agreed," He said, and Caroline shakes her head, "Scott's going to try and stop him you know," He said and Caroline nods, she knew that, she knew exactly what her brother was going to do, and she wasn't going to be able to stop him.

"Why does Derek want me there? I can't afford Scott knowing," She said, and Isaac frowns, Caroline looking up at him, her eyebrow raising, "What? What is it?"

"Derek… Derek's going to try and use you as leverage to get Scott to join the pack," He said, Caroline's jaw dropping, and he sighed, "I told him you probably wouldn't like that, but… it's his only plan."

Caroline closes her mouth, her head shaking, "I'm not going, can't go… I, I can't deal with this, I have to worry about Lydia, I cant worry about Derek, I can't worry about you guys." She said as she moved away from him, letting out an aggravated sigh when she realized her comment had hurt him some.

"Lydia's going to be fine Caroline, Derek says that we need to be ready, the hunters are after us, and they are after you." He said, and Caroline frowns as she leans against the air conditioning unit. She had called Derek and told him that Gerald knew about her, and how he had supplied some new books about Celtic lore, and the supernatural creatures from it.

"He's using me like Peter did," She mumbles, her head shaking and Isaac frowns, going to interrupt when he felt a familiar presence and looked up, spotting Derek.

"I'm not," Caroline jumps, looking up at Derek and she glares.

"Why the hell are you here? This is a high school, you're like twenty-three."

"I came to get Isaac," He said gesturing towards the fugitive, "I'm not using you like Peter did," He said as he walked towards her Caroline moving to stand beside Isaac, "I need you, yes, I need power to be stronger and that's why I'm building my pack, but I'm not using you like Peter, and I'm not forcing you to do anything you don't want to do Caroline." He said, Caroline turning to look away from him, "You want to help, you don't want to be weak anymore, and you don't want to be in the dark… you don't want to be like Lydia." Caroline glared over at him, and Derek shrugs, "Be there tonight Caroline, be there for your pack."

"Pack?" Caroline felt her heart sink at the sound of Stiles's voice, and she looked past Derek as he stepped away, Stiles walking over, glaring over at Isaac, "What are they doing here?"

Caroline sighs, her head shaking, "Nothing, nothing Stiles they were just checking in." She mumbles, her hand going to her head as Isaac walked passed.

"Bullshit," Stiles snapped, Caroline glaring at him before she watched Derek and Isaac walk away, and Stiles moved over to her, "What is going on Caroline? And stop lying!"

Caroline frowns, looking down at the ground as Stiles stops in front of her, "I… I help out Derek." She said as she looks back up at him shrugging, "and in return, he's helping me, sort of."

"Sort of?" Stiles asks incredulously, shaking his head, "You're helping him out so he can sort of help you? What are you doing for him?"

Caroline purses her lips, before turning, and pulled her hair up, Stiles standing there for a moment before she felt his fingers on her neck, and she winces forward some, Stiles pulling his hand back quickly, "I help the pack." She said, dropping her hair to look back at him, "Whatever… I am, I'm the way I am to help a pack." She said, Stiles eyebrows pinched together in confusion, "Derek… marked me," Caroline said, watching as his face contorted, obviously not happy with the way it sounded, "He marked me and it connected me to the pack. I uh, I can feel what they do… like, major stuff, fear, pain… and sometimes I can see their memories." Stiles shakes his head slowly, Caroline shrugging, "It kind of sucks but… they, they need me."

"They need you? Caroline, you don't need to be involved in this, none of this. It's not safe!" He shouts, and Caroline rolls her eyes.

"See, this is why I didn't want to tell you, because I knew you would do this!" She shouts back, her arms crossing over her chest.

"Do what?! Worry?!"

"YES! You don't need to worry! I'm a big girl Stiles, I know what I'm doing!" She snapped moving towards him, and he rolls his eyes, "I may not be a werewolf, but I'm perfectly capable of pr-,"

"You were attack, two, no, what three times? Three times Caroline, and you could have died, all those times." He said arms flailing, "You went crazy because of that prick's uncle, and now you're buddies with him and the rest of his screwed up pack?!"

"They're not screwed up," Caroline sighed, "Maybe Erica is, but… I'm biased about her but Isaac's not screwed up, Derek's not screwed up… They have screwed up lives," She explained shrugging, "They've been hurt so much, and… they need someone okay, they need something… something to hold them together, someone to give them advice, and that's what I am or something…"

"Derek employed a sixteen year old asthmatic smoker with more emotional damage than someone off of Springer to be the 'advisor' to his pack?" Stiles scoffs shaking his head, "He's as dumb as I thought."

Caroline glares, feeling the tears filling her eyes, "Don't be a prick Stiles." She said, and he frowns turning to look at her, his head shaking.

"Care… Caroline I'm sorry… I didn't mean that but. This, this just isn't safe." He said, gripping her shoulders, Caroline shaking her head, "They may need you Care, but I do too… I need you more than any of them, and I don't want to lose you because you stupid McCall twins have hero complexes." He said, and Caroline smiles weakly wiping at her eyes.

"You won't lose me, I promise." She mumbles, leaning her head against his chest, "Just trust me okay, just trust me."

Stiles frowns moving to wrap his arms around her waist, holding her close as he nods, "I do trust you," He whispers, "I love you." He said, pulling back just a bit, hoping to hear her say it back.

"Me too."

Caroline hadn't gone straight to the skating rink, she first reported to the animal clinic when her phone started blowing up, saying someone had broken in to it. When she arrived there Deaton had already gotten there, but she walked in anyways, hanging her scarf and jacket up on the coat rack and headed towards the back.

"Mr. D, is everything alright?" She asks as she walked into the back room, her eyes going wide at the sight of a dead mutilated body on the examining table, Deaton standing near it, Chris by him, and he frowns at the sight of her, "Oh my god." Caroline said, taking a few steps back as Deaton sighs.

"Caroline, thank you for coming in, but, you don't have to work tonight." He said as he stands, pulling the white gloves from his hands, Caroline looking up at Deaton, her eyes wide.

"That's a dead man," She swallowed pointing at the body, Deaton nodding as he glanced back over at it.

"Yes… it is." He mutters, Caroline letting out a breath, and looked over at Chris, who was studying her curiously.

"Caroline, could you touch the body for me?" He asks, Caroline's eyes going wide and she looked at him, Deaton looking just as confused as she did.

"Please never say something like that again," She said her head shaking, "It sounds so wrong, and no, no I will not be touching the dead body for you."

She mumbles and Chris sighs, "Caroline did you read those books my father loaned you yet?" He asks, Caroline shaking her head.

"I got them last night, so no, no I didn't, why?" She asks moving closer to him, avoiding the cart with the dead man, "Do you know something?"

"There was an entry in one of the books," He says speaking more to Deaton, like the two had been musing over this before, "A branch of the Druids, something called a Faidh."

Caroline made a face, "A what?"

"Faidh, it's the Celtic word for Seer, you'd know it as something like a fortune teller." Deaton explained quickly, and Caroline let out a laugh.

"Those people are frauds, and I don't have visions of the future, I feel people's stupid emotions, and sometimes their memories, that's it." She said arms crossing, and Deaton shakes his head.

"You're untrained, if you are a Faidh, you wouldn't be able to control it, you'd get glimpses, blurry images and gut feelings, but never anything straight forward." He said looking to her, "Caroline touch the body." He instructed, Caroline grimacing as she looked at the poor dead man, her head shaking.

"I don't want to…" She whispers in fear of the unknown, and Chris frowns.

"This is your chance to find out what you are Caroline," Chris says, Caroline looking up at him, "This is your chance to get control over what you are… Isn't this what you wanted?"

Caroline frowns, her eyes closing as she nods slowly, and takes a step towards the body, letting out a small noise as she reached forward, resting her hand against his cold lifeless hand, and let out a gasp.

She couldn't shake the fear she felt, her body spinning round, and around, the gun in her hand, firing various bullets at whatever was lurking in the woods, stalking her, hunting her. She let out a tiny gasp, her hand going to the back of her neck where she felt the prick, her entire body numb, her limbs locking into place, her eyes wide with fear as she fell over, and screamed at the sight of the scaly creature, the same creature she'd seen attack Isaac's father.

She was screamed, her sobs filling the air begging in slurs of sentences as the thing tore her apart, it's claws digging into her skin, ripping her open, bleeding her out.

Caroline's eyes went wide as she gasped, stumbling back into Chris as he held her securely, turning her around as she tried to find words, her head shaking, "It wasn't a wolf, it wasn't… I… I have no idea what it was." She sobs, Chris frowning, looking over at Deaton as the two shared the same expression. Caroline was in fact a Faidh.

Caroline clung to Chris, still feeling the animal's razor sharp claws digging into her body, before she had more glimpses of something, her eyes widening when she heard Scott crying out in pain as Derek's claws ripped into him, and she pulled away from Chris, knocking over one of the tables holding the various surgical utensils.

"I need to go," She regained her footing, wiping at her eyes as Deaton moved towards her.

"Actually Caroline I think you need to stay, we need to talk." He said quickly and she shakes her head quickly, swallowing.

"No, no, I need to go, I need to go before he hurts him." She said as she hurried out of the door, not bothering to grab her things as she pulled the keys to her mom's car out of her pocket, and sped off towards the ice rink.

Caroline took ragged breaths, her hands tight on the steering wheel as she broke the speed limit, needing to get to the rink before Derek did something stupid. She should have went straight there, she should have gone to stop any of this from happening. Caroline stopped the car, not bothering to park properly or lock her door.

"Scott?! Scott?!" She screamed as she threw the doors to the rink open, hearing Scott coughing and she ran towards the rink, her eyes going wide as she saw her brother laying on the ice, and she let out a sob, "Scott!" She screamed, darting onto the ice, slipping some before managing to gain her balance and hurried to his side, falling down beside him.

"Scott, Scotty I'm sorry, I'm sorry I wasn't here," She said, placing her hands on him, wincing when he winced, feeling his pain, flashes of Derek beating him flooding her mind, "I'm sorry Scott." She said her head shaking and he shushes her.

"I'm okay," He coughs, Caroline helping him sit up, "I'll heal, I'll be fine." He said, looking at her seriously, "Caroline… Derek, he said something." He whispered, and Caroline frowns, her gaze turning away from him before she bites her lip, and looks back at him.

"I know what I am," She said, choosing to ignore it and distract him with something else, "I finally know what I am Scott, and I can help." She said, Scott nodding slowly.

"What?"

"I'm a Faidh."

"….What the hell is a Faidh?
