Today was the day of Aiden's birthday party and he just insisted on having a sports party because that was the party that him and his dad had talked about having a sports party. There's was the perfect amount of each sport that Aiden wanted and it was amazing Tina did a great job of planning this party under pressure and Aiden and his friends seemed to be enjoying themselves. Sam and Noah were even enjoying themselves playing the video games with the kids and everyone seemed to be enjoying the party and everything was going good but I couldn't help but feel that something was going to go terribly wrong.

Tina grabbed me aside and told me that it was cake and present time. So we grabbed everyone and brought them into the theater and we passed out the cake and ice cream and Tina and Keisha got all of Aiden's presents and handed them to me. Sam and Nicole were sitting next to me helping me with the gifts.

"Okay Aiden this one is from Auntie Whitney and Uncle Will" I say to Aiden as I handed his present to him and he ripped it apart and it was sports video game thingy that I had no idea about but Aiden loved it so I was happy about it. "What do you say to Auntie Keisha and Uncle Will?"

"Thank you"

As he opened up all the gifts and enjoyed every one of them. I grabbed the last gift and it had no name on it. "Okay here is the last gift baby and it doesn't have a name on it so I don't know who it's from."

"That's okay mommy a present is a present." He said and everyone laughed

When he opened it was a Steelers poster signed by every player on the team in a frame.

"This is so awesome. Whoever gave me this present is awesome."

Then, as if on cue, Shane, Vanessa, Kaiyah and Michael walked in and Aiden leaped out of his chair and ran to his dad. On the other hand I was heated. Kaiyah ran to Sam and I saw the brightest smile on his face when he saw her and held her in her arms but when I looked back up at Shane and Vanessa I got even more heated. Vanessa saw me and gave me a smirk showing me that she knew that this was pissing me off. I went to get up and Quinn stopped me and pulled me to the side.

" DO NOT stoop to their level. It's not worth it and don't forget about that baby. Plus its Aiden's birthday. "

"Quinn, I understand that you want to be the level headed one right now but I want to know why the man that abused me and his girlfriend are at MY child's birthday party. They weren't even invited and how did they get passed security."

"Listen Cedes, I know you're pissed and everything but I need you to calm down because one this is not good on the baby and two you might ruin your child's birthday and he might never forgive you."

"Quinn—" I started to speak and Aiden interrupted me

"Mommy, daddy and Aunt Vanessa brought me the poster isn't it cool I thought you said he wasn't coming?"

"That's because I thought he wasn't"

"Daddy said you didn't invite him. That's not true right mommy?"

"Baby, why don't you go play with your friends while I'll go talk to your father"

" Okay mommy." He said and I looked at Quinn

"He is trying to turn my child against me, Q. I just wanted to keep this under the radar how did he even find out about the party?"

"Cedes, breathe. Are you really going to talk to Shane?"

"Yes, I have no choice I need to know what his problem is and why he is trying to ruin my life."

"Just take it easy and bring Sam with you."

"Fine, Quinn I'll grab Sam"

I grabbed Sam and told him what's going on and we went to Shane.

"Shane I need to talk to you NOW."

Shane looked at Sam then looked at me.

"Only if we talk alone without muscle head over here"

"I've tried that before and it didn't quite work out. "

"Fine. I'm bringing Vanessa with me then."

"Whatever floats your boat. " I walk away and they follow me

We all went into my office and sat down

"What do you want, Mercedes? I'm trying to celebrate my son's birthday with him even though I wasn't invited to this party and Why wasn't I invited Mercedes?"

"Listen Shane I think we all know the reason for that. The question that needs to be asked is why are you here? You aren't even supposed to be near me or MY children."

"Oh Mercedes, You must have forgotten they are my children too. Oh and let's not forget about this baby of mine inside of you." Shane said as he touched my stomach and I snatched his hand away from me. "Plus don't you remember our vows we will 'love, cherish, and obey till death do us part'"

"Shane I remember my vows and I committed to my vows unlike you who was supposed to 'keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live?' Or did you forget about that. I was the loyal wife you went and cheated on me and then lied about it and on top of that you put your hands on me and have the nerve to stand in front of me and act like I was the one who broke our vows."

"Mercedes, you might want to calm down before you do something you will regret." Shane said as he touched me

"Stop touching her." Sam said and it was noticeable that he was getting pissed.

"Or what, pretty boy? I took your wife already so you think you can go and take mine. You think that just because you put a ring on her that you have her because best believe she will always be mine."

Sam was shaking he wanted to hit him badly and Vanessa must of noticed too.

"Baby maybe we should go. We can do this another time but its Aiden's birthday and we don't want ruin that."

Oh look that bitch did have common sense and knew when enough was enough.

They grabbed their kids and Sam stopped them

"Vanessa, let me keep Kaiyah for the rest of the party. I'll bring her home and everything just let me keep her."

"Listen, Sam I know that you want to spend time with her and I really want her to spend time with you but as long as you are with her I just don't see that happening," She looked over at me and then back at Sam and continued talking, "We can talk about this later okay." She said with a flip of her hair and walked out the door.

Vanessa P.O.V

When I got into the car Shane and the kids were already in the car. I took a deep breath and got in the car. Shane began to drive and I looked back at my kids and Michael was fast asleep and Kaiyah was halfway asleep and when I looked back she was fast asleep the party must of wore them out but this gave me time to talk to Shane.

"Shane, What was all of that about?"

"What was what Vanessa?"

"You know what I'm talking about. All that talk about your vows and all that stuff. I thought you wanted me I thought you never loved her and from the moment you laid eyes on me you knew I was the one you wanted to be with you told me that my eyes were diamonds."

We pulled up to the house and Shane got out the car grabbed Michael and brought him in the house and I grabbed Kaiyah and we both put them into their beds and headed to our bedroom

"Shane we aren't done talking."

"To think that I actually love you more than I love my wife is a fucking joke to me. There's a reason you were the side chick correction you are still a side chick. Once my wife realizes that she wants me back I will be right back in my house and you will just be one of the chicks that I cheated on my wife with."

"DO You honestly think that she is going to go back to you? Please she has the guy that I LEFT because of you. She has the perfect relationship without you and if you think that because the child she is having is yours that she will come back to you. You must be out of your mind her and Sam are meant for each other."

"Listen bitch she will come back to me and you wanna know why? She's gonna come back to me and you wanna know why she's gonna comeback to me," he said as he grabbed me and slammed me into the wall. "You're gonna help me get my wife back and possibly you can get your husband back."

"Why on God's green earth would I help you?" I said to him and he tightened up his grip on me.

" I know you want him back and can't stand to see Mercedes have what you used to have and you are so jealous that you would do anything to get that back. So here's how we're going to do that."
