Ch. 12 Battles on Both Sides! Mark and Zeq vs. The X-Antibody
Chapter 11 Review (Jayden P.O.V)
Shoutmon and Dorulumon took care of the Divermon that were hurting this poor Chibitortomon except for one Divermon who was knocked over by Shoutmon as I walked over to see if he was alright when no one else would. The Divermon was alright and he decided to join our team and so did Chibitortomon. Then Chibi decided to bring us over to some digi-noir which it actually tasted pretty good but then Drake showed up asking for me to duel him. After I won the spell wore of then Commandramon and Dracomon restored their bonds together but then Alex Grace and the Ebidramon showed up at the beach and then we split up again and got into two separate fights. I just hope that everything is going to be aright. With Alex threatening to destroy a whole zone we don't know what he's thinking.
***Zeq P.O.V***
Everything was going so smoothly until Alex Grace showed up and almost blew up the zone. Now that there are 70 Ebidramon behind me and another 150 Divermon in front of me it's almost time for another fight that could end up destroying the Island Zone. The island zone at first seemed like a peaceful place with a few ruffians but now it's a huge war ground but why does the Black Army want the 6 crystal stars anyway. Are these crystal stars used for more than just to see who has the most power? Why is the Island Zone the only zone where more than just a couple of Black Army goons come to take over the place? There must be something about this zone that the Black Army wants more than anything. I got it, it's the thing that Lilithmon's army came to get 4 years ago, Plesiomon's egg is a very powerful digi-egg and she holds a whole 1/6 of a star. That would boost the Black Army's success rate by a whole lot. I need to get to that cave right now before Plesiomon finds herself in a whole bunch of trouble. Since she lives underwater, I'll need Chibitortomon to match with me and Agumon in order to get to the underwater cave. It's time to hit it off but I'll need to leave the others behind.
"Agumon, Chibitortomon, I think I know the true reason why the Black Army is here. They want Plesiomon's digi-egg and star shard," I said.
"What's the difference between a shard and fragment again," said Agumon.
"A fragment is 1/36 of a crystal star while a shard is 1/6," I explained to Agumon.
"She has 6 fragments!" said Chibitortomon.
"That'll boost the United Soul up a lot Zeq. We should go now before the Black Army moves in and tries to take Plesiomon," said Agumon.
"Exactly, Agumon Chibitortomon it's time to biomerge. I hope it works with you in it so we can breathe underwater," I said.
"Chibitortomon, Agumon, Myself...Digi-Xros!" I said.
"Digi-Xros!" said the three of us, "BioGreymon U(U=Underwater). Now BioGreymon had a shell on his back that was like Chibitortomon's and we got his tail to and it was very easy to swim underwater when we finally got back to the beach away from the others. I'm sure the others will be safe fighting the Divermon as we go get to the real threat.
***Mark P.O.V***
The others left and I was here with my sister, Jayden, John Alec, and Drake. I wonder why the Black Army is bringing so many digimon just to this one island. Don't they have other things to do then try and crowd this island? Something must be more important to this island tan what meets the eye but what is it. Then it hit me, JumboGamemon is the leader of this village and also holds the things that were part of Zeq's digital adventure, Digi-Memories. Those hold the files of the legendary digimon and if the Black Army gets a hold of those then it'll be impossible to beat them. They must've known that we would obviously try and protect the island and not even worry about their true intentions but if we leave the Ebidramon will run loose on the city giving Zeq and the others over there are harder time meaning me and V-mon have to do this ourselves.
"V-mon we'll have to hurry up and get over to JumboGamemon on the other island over there. I think they must've already captured him already and brought him to the ship where a Mega or Super Ultimate is already waiting for me or someone else to try and save him," I said to V-mon directly so that no one else would hear. Jamie or Jayden would easily say they needed to come with me but they couldn't because if they do the others will lose the beach and they'll go straight for the town.
"V-mon it's time to digivolve, UlforceVeedramon isn't a fast flyer, we'll need AeroVeedramon. Digi-Modify...Track 2 Ultimate Digivolution!"
"V-mon digivolve to...AeroVeedramon! Let's go Marcush we don't have time have time to waste," said AeroVeedramon.
"Let's hurry before the others figure out that were not going to be here," I said to AeroVeedramon so he flew up and then a sprinted or whatever you call it when you move your fastest while flying. We reached the boat in a couple of minutes but soon V-mon dedigivolved back into his rookie form without me even swiping the card. I looked at V-mon and then I looked down because we haven't even landed on the boat yet.
"V-mon don't look down, the laws of physics in this world say if you don't look down you won't fall," I said to him. V-mon just kept looking up as we slowly pretended to walk like there were stairs on the air. We finally reached the bottom and I realized something, how did that even work? Shouldn't physics work EVERYWHERE! It's physics it shouldn't matter if you're in the digital world or not. As soon as we touched down on land we were surrounded by Divermon on one side and then a Neptunemon on the other side of me giving me the stink eye and then trying to shoo me off like he owns the place. Well he does but he shouldn't be treating someone of my caliber with such insolence. I stood up to Neptunemon and looked at him straight in the eye and said, "We know your plan to take the Digi-Memories from JumboGamemon and me and V-mon are here to stop you from achieving that goal."
"You think you can stop me Marcus, this barrier makes it so that you can't digivolve normally or use digi-Xros or biomerge or DNA unless your above the champion level at this moment. Since you're a rookie you can't digivolve any other way because all other forms than the three I mentioned are lost forms of digivolution," said Neptunemon. V-mon laughed and said, "You think Marcush is just going to give up because he can't use one he forms of digivolution you mentioned. We have something you don't have, he couldn't digi-Xros anyway so it and we have something else."
"Yeah we have the digi-egg of miracles right here..." I said reassuring V-mon. I felt my backpack, then my pockets and then I sulked next to V-mon and said, "I left the digi-egg of miracles back at my apartment in school with my roommate Jeremy who also knows about the digital world. Jeremy and his partner Hawkmon are really nice people and they have digi-eggs just like we do."
"Marcush how are we supposed to fight them now?" asked V-mon.
"Don't worry I always have a back up, the golden digi-egg of Destiny. Let's test this baby out. Golden Armor Energize!" I said loudly.
"V-mon armor digivolve to...GoldVeedramon," said V-mon.
"We'll always find away to get around your traps and tricks and I'll never give up until the evil is broken. Now that GoldVeedramon is a champion he can evolve and there's one more stage I can use right now. I'll use the crest of determination," said Mark.
"There's one more thing you should know, we're not only going for the Digi-Memories," said Neptunemon.
"What!?" said GoldVeedramon and I.
"We're also going for the crystal shard held by Plesiomon and trust me you won't know about that one," said Neptunemon. Then something came out of the water as the boat rocked causing 3 or 4 Divermon off the boat, it was BioGreymon.
"BioGreymon!" I said looking up making Neptunemon scowl.
"Leave it to use we'll protect Plesiomon, make sure Neptunemon doesn't get the Digi-Memories from JumboGamemon okay," said BioGreymon. I pointed at BioGreymon and said, "I won't let you guys down!" Then BioGreymon went back down to the bottom of the ocean and then I continued, "Digi-Modify...Crest of Determination Activate," my chest started to glow then a white light covered GoldVeedramon.
"GoldVeedramon digivolve to...GoldAeroVeedramon!" said GoldVeedramon.
"Ready to kick some ass Aero," I said to him, "you get the Divermon, I'll stall Neptunemon with this sword I just found on the ground and don't know how to use at all alright."
"Alright Marcush, we'll beat these guys together," said Aero, "I always have fun battling with you."
"I do too Aero," I said to him then I fist pounded him and said, "3...2...1...charge!" as we ran straight forward. Hopefully Aero defeats the Divermon fast enough to lend me a hand against Neptunemon.
***Zeq P.O.V***
I hope that Mark is going to be alright fighting all those guys by himself but right now we have our own quest to save Plesiomon from being hurt from the other fleet of underwater digimon that are coming straight for her crystal shard and her digi-egg that could easily be enough to take over the at least a sixth of the digital world even without the other shards or stars. We have to hurry, now before were too late, Neptunemon said they were going there all along but so far I haven't seen any Divermon or creatures that are leaking under the deep to scare.
"You know Zeq that's a pretty good thing," said Agumon inside my head.
"No it isn't, I feel like this is a trap," said Chibi.
"You think so Chibi, you may be right or all of them are already there. Or the fleet that is supposed to be coming is he fleet that Mark is fighting," I said to Chibi.
"It has to be them. Mark might not know that he's actually making our job easier," said Agumon.
"Let's keep going down and hope he can hold them off for a while," said Chibi.
"Right! let's keep going," I said to the others. We kept moving down until we found the underwater cave and finally got out of the water and un digi-xrosed into our original form and then we walked into an illuminated cave even further in and there was Plesiomon except she didn't look or sound happy as MegaSeadramon came back for round who knows, even more than Daemon and Devilmon have come back combined. Except MegaSeadramon looked different and more powerful than before, maybe even more powerful than a mega. He was completely different and something must be causing for this to happen to him because there was no way he was smart enough to actually start training and become stronger. I walked in and saw MegaSeadramon and looked straight at Agumon and laughed evilly and said, "So it's you, the one you beat me all those years ago. Well now I'm back and better than ever baby and I'm here to grab that egg and that shard even if it kills her,"
"Zeq!" warned Plesiomon, "he's stronger than any normal MegaSeadramon. He's been updated by the Black Army's new virus...The X-Antibody!" I looked over at MegaSeadramon then back at Agumon and Chibi and then Chibi asked, "What does this X-Antibody do exactly?"
"It powers up the enemy, it's hard to survive the X-Antibody but somehow MegaSeadramon endured it and got to use its special power. This antibody powers up the enemy by a lot and makes and Ultimate have the same power level as a Super-Ultimate!"
"What the fuck! that powerful," Chibi, Agumon, and I said back to Plesiomon.
"Yeah that powerful, with something like that it'll be hard to beat him but I know that you guys can," said Plesiomon.
"You bet your money on the right person, I'm sure we'll beat 'em right Zeq," said Agumon.
"Yeah, Agumon, Chibi, are you ready. This could be the hardest battle for us yet," said Zeq.
"Bring it on," said Chibi.
"Chibitortomon, Agumon, Myself Digi-Xros!...BioGreymon U!" said all of us together.
"So you think you can beat me by being together all of a sudden, with my new power I'm even stronger than Daemon was," said MegaSeadramon X laughing but we didn't stand back we went forward and said, "Well we got stronger too and there's no way were going to let you hurt Plesiomon anymore. Today's your last day then you'll be sleeping with the fishes."
"Alright then BioGreymon, lay it on me then. Let's see if you actually are good enough to compete against me!" Before I started the battle I got worried about Mark and reloaded Cutemon so that he could check on Mark and V-mon. He nodded at me and dived into the water. Then
we rushed forward towards MegaSeadramon and then tried to grab him but he got a lot faster and then he took us around his whole entire body and banded us together and then started powering up an attack from his mouth, at this close range and this large attack we could easily destroy this cave so we grabbed MegaSeadramon and then threw him into the water. Plesiomon nodded a thanks and then we jumped into the water afterwards finding MegaSeadramon already charged up for his attack and said, "King Javelin!" shooting an electric bolt through his spear catching us off guard and then we moved but it wasn't enough for the whole attack and it saved us but it still hurt some. This X-Antibody is really powerful and I hope Mark doesn't have to up against this crazy amounts of power.
***Mark P.O.V***
I was just pushed aside by Neptunemon for about the fifth time and I could see that in Aero's eyes he was worried but I nodded back to him and then he continued fighting. I stood up against Neptunemon again and I could see he was getting tiresome of this battle so I guess we have to mix it up a little bit. Neptunemon tried to stab me with his spear but I parried his attack and then sliced him with the sword but I could see that it only did minor damage. I knew this was going to happen, I have to stay alive a little longer until Aero can take my place and I won't have to be like Jamie and be a normal tamer who tries his best to make sure his digimon doesn't fall and give love and compassion and share bonds. I guess Jamie and Shoutmon share their bond a different way than I do. I'll protect Aero from Neptunemon and he'll protect me from the Divermon which have all disappeared. A trap door opened and 3 Ebidramon came out from the bottom of the ship and then blindsided Aero.
"Aero!" I said to him about to run towards him but Neptunemon almost came from behind but I dodged again and tried to stab him with my sword but no effect at all.
"Don't worry Marcush, I'm fine leave these guys over here to me," said Aero. Then I slashed him again by turning around to face him and I could see minor sweat meaning he's actually getting tired making me smile a little bit and then he got mad and used his spear for another blow which would hit me in the chest but I dodged and laughed at him which made him really angry and he kept trying to hit me but it didn't work and this stunt was making him tired for sure.
"Stop moving you idiot, let me stab you," said Neptunemon. I tried to dodge his last stab but he aiming for my leg instead of my chest which I didn't anticipate on happening and he got me straight in the leg. I stepped down in pain and nearly fell to the ground but I knew Aero was counting on me to hold him off and that's what I'm going to keep going until he succeeds.
"Why aren't you on the ground crying!" said Neptunemon.
"Because I have a friend that I want to protect from you, we work as a team and I won't give up until I feel the need to which is never," I said to him and then I he laughed and hit me again this time with another spear and stabbed my arm making me almost fall faint. Then I did the stupidest thing ever, I take the spear out and then I run at him and stab his midsection and it actually penetrated his skin and went all the way through and caused pain. I smiled then almost fell to the ground but since Aero was done defeating the Ebidramon he caught me before I fell to the ground then me said, "Marcush don't die on me, I don't want you to die. I like you as a human!" then Aero started to cry a lot then I barely stood and said, "I'm fine Aero don't worry about me, I'm 100%," I tried to say to him but my legs started to wobble so I sat back down and said, "Look Aero, I'll be fine, I'm not dying tod-," I tried to say.
"Please safe your breathe Marcush, go to sleep or something and when I wake up I'll show that I'll beat him," said Aero.
"No I want to be up when you do it Aero, you're one of the best friends that I have and I'll be sure to watch you win even if it pains me to have my eyes open because I'm not going to let this underhanded fish get the best of me or you," I said to him.
"Marcush," Aero said sadly then he wiped the tears off his eyes and continued, "I'll do it for you." I smiled at him and then he smiled back at me and then Neptunemon I guess was annoyed and said, "Are you guys going to sap over each other or are we going to fight!"
"We'll fight! In two minutes or less you'll be sleeping with the fishes," said Aero.
Then I stood up and said, "I'm not giving up either I'll still fight with my friend and even though I'm not the strongest one on United Soul I'll be sure that Aero rips you to shreds! Let's go Aero! Then my crest started to glow and it turned a clear rainbow color. Is this a crest level up. Cutemon sneaked into the ship without me noticing and then he said to Aero, "I have this under control Aero, I'll bring Marcus back up to tip top shape and make sure he doesn't die. You worry about making Neptunemon sink to the ground and saving the Island Zone from the Black Army," then Cutemon smiled and pointed at Aero and said, "If you don't win... I don't even want to think about it because I know you'll win especially with Marcus by your side!" Aero went off and squared against Neptunemon. Aero rushed towards Neptunemon at full strength because he was very mad even though I was alright. Aero was one of the best digimon I know and the strongest that I know too then Cutemon talked to me and said, "How did you get these wounds, did someone stab you or something!?"
"Yeah Neptunemon did," I told him.
"It's a merical your alive. This is going to take a while to heal. Just sit back and watch GoldAeroVeedramon defeat Neptunemon," said Cutemon. Then Cutemon looked at Neptunemon and gasped and then I turned around to fast giving me a little whiplash but it didn't hurt as much as my arm did and I said, "What's wrong Cutemon, is it something to do with Neptunemon."
"Yeah, Neptunemon looks totally different then before and a lot stronger. This is a mega on mega fight and GoldAeroVeedramon is an ancient digimon so he should be beating Neptunemon easily but something is totally different. He's gotten stronger," said Cutemon. Ancient type? Neptunemon stronger? What's going on?
"I can see you don't know what I'm talking about, an ancient type is a digimon that is really rare and old kind of like a fossil except usually these types of digimon don't reach the mega level easily. The emotions of an ancient digimon are far more dangerous and explosive than a normal digimon such as myself. Ancients because of this have a shorter lifespan the more they're emotions get the best of them," said Cutemon.
"So you're saying that the more angry Aero get's...the shorter he'll live," I say sadly.
"Yeah, but there are some positive effects that happen when positive emotions overflow him, they lengthen lifespan a little bit and also strengthen the digimon up a whole bunch and even gives them resistance of deletion," said Cutemon, "I'm sure if you continue to treat him the way you do he'll live just as long as the others." That's a relief.
"What about how Neptunemon looks different?" I asked Cutemon.
"That's bad news, it's a new thing that the Black Army made called the X-Antibody, it gives the user tremendous power. Zeq is down there fighting MegaSeadramon who has the X-Antibody. Without it Zeq would've won like 30 minutes ago but with the X-Antibody they might be struggling down there. The X-Antibody made an Ultimate into a Super-Ultimate!" said Cutemon.
"Damn! that's a lot of power but with a Mega with the X-antibody could mean, he's a level of digimon above Super-Ultimate. We've never gone that high but I put my faith in Aero that he'll win. I can count on him, he still looks fine," I said to Cutemon.
"I hope you're right," said Cutemon. If Zeq is having trouble down there, I hope that he's doing fine without us. I guess that's why we sent Cutemon but without Jamie and the others to help this will be our hardest battles yet.
***Jamie P.O.V***
Man I'm beat, all those Ebidramon took a lot out of me and Shoutmon and we just sat next to each other wondering where Mark was. Mark never leaves without telling anyone else where he's going, he'd never abandon us like this on a beach. It seems that Zeq did the same thing when J.T. came back and asked if Zeq came back to tell us that they needed help. Later after standing on the beach for 30 minutes Cutemon swam over to us and said, "You may need to help Mark out,"
"Where is he?" I asked Cutemon rushing him to give the answer out. Cutemon pointed straight at the mother ship of the Black Army and when J.T. took out his binoculars and saw Mark standing up encouraging GoldAeroVeedramon to do his best.
"He and GoldAeroVeedramon are fighting Neptunemon over on the ship over there," said J.T. pointing straight where Mark was.
"Why is Mark standing, I told him to sit down. He got severely injured with a fight with him versus Neptunemon all by himself," said Cutemon.
"Mark tried to fight Neptunemon all by himself," said Cade.
"Yeah he got stabbed in the leg and arm, I mean penetrated straight through, he still had the spear in his arm when I got there. Luckily Zeq told me to go check on Marcus and make sure he was alright," said Cutemon sadly, "but Zeq is in some trouble on his own. He's trying to protect Plesiomon from being hurt by MegaSeadramon."
"That should be really easy right," said John Alec.
"No, both of these digimon are being infected by the X-antibody. This is raising Mega Seadramon's power to a Super-Ultimate and Neptunemon to a power above Super-Ultimate," said Cutemon.
"Above...Super-Ultimate..." said Cade.
"You mean a Max Mega, " said Justin.
"We can't call it that because what if a Super-Ultimate such as BioShoutmon or someone even stronger such as Alphamon Ouryken and gets infected by the X-Antibody," said J.T.
"You mean what would happen if a Power Mega took on the X-Antibody, we could be in a whole lot of trouble," said Jayden.
"Exactly, but the enemy has to be careful when using this. Taking this antibody could easily mean death, only select monsters can take in this antibody. This is why the Black Army has been drafting and also it punishes the prisoners because they'll most likely die," said Cutemon. J.T.'s glasses flashes then he looked up and said, "I think I now the problem that I've been trying to solve."
"What's the problem?" Jayden asked.
"It's the reason why the time ratio between the human world against the digital world has been increasing," said J.T.
"What you're saying here is-," started Jayden.
"Before the digital world ratio to human world was 1 second : 1 hour when we first entered but now the ratio increased dramatically to 5minutes: 1 hour," said J.T.
"That's a 300 times slower than before or 30000% increase in time," said Cade.
"Exactly, the reason of this is because of the excess amount of digimon cramped up in one area or dimension of the digital world," said J.T., " Other dimensions of the digital world are speeding up tremendously while this one of getting slower. If the ratio becomes 1:1 then the Earth and this dimension will collapse over one another and both will delete each other and start over like nothing ever happened on each one."
"That's terrible," said Shoutmon, "I didn't work hard becoming king and protecting others just to have it all taken away by some jerk who wants to make a new world!"
"We can't worry about this now we have to take over the ship that Mark is in and help him defeat Neptunemon, we'll have to be careful because with that X-antibody he's a Power Mega so don't take him lightly," said Jayden.
"Right that freak will pay for stabbing Mark," said Cade. We all digivolved and started flying over to the boat (well I had to carry Cade) while I was BioShoutmon but other than that it was pretty smooth and I hope that Marcus isn't doing anything stupid.
***Mark P.O.V***
I could barely move my legs but I rushed in front of Aero and took the stab with the spear for him and it went straight through my stomach causing me to collapse. Aero ran up to me and said, "Why did you do it Marcush, I could've taken the hit."
"It's okay Aero, I took it because I didn't want to see you get hurt because your my-," I started coughing, "best friend and I'll try my hardest to take a hit for you." Neptunemon is almost down and he was getting tired and bleeding for Aero's fast attack, it should only be a little more until he wears down and I couldn't let this chance blow up in my face. Aero needs to be alive because right now only he can do the final blow needed in order to save the island zone.
"Marcus!" said BioGreymon breathing heavily from his battle under the sea looking like his biomerge was about to break. "Dude where is Cutemon?"
"Getting the others, I-," I started trying not to cough blood in his face.
"Stop right there and wait until Cutemon comes back with the others and I'll hold them off until Jamie gives and Jayden gives us some support to beat this guy," said Zeq to me.
"It should only be one powerful attack and then he'll be done. He's just as worn out as I am," I said to him.
"I won't let you down Mark," said BioGreymon who met up with Aero.
"GoldAeroVeedramon, hold on to Neptunemon and I'll finish him," said BioGreymon.
"Okay," said Aero as he rushed behind Neptunemon and grabbed him, "now!"
"Zeke Flare!" BioGreymon said releasing a powerful fire blast making Neptunemon disappear but luckily Aero got out of the way quick enough to not get hit.
"We did it Marcush, thanks BioGreymon, you really saved us back there," said Aero.
"No problem, let's go back to the others!" said BioGreymon releasing the biomerge but before we moved Jayden and the others came on top of the boat and saw what horrible shape I was in.
"I just healed you Mark, how did you get hurt even more, looking at the spear in my stomach," said Cutemon but before I answered the whole area got spinney and then I fainted but not before telling Aero, "You did great Aero." I saw a little bit of Aero crying but it wasn't all because he was sad. He was happy that I was alive.
***Jayden P.O.V***
"We may have to go back to school now it's about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and if we're not there someone will know what's up," Justin said to us making me freak out and say, "how do we get back?"
"We use my phone duh," said Justin. Using this we all said good bye to the digimon and we left Mark here with GoldAeroVeedramon because he couldn't dedigivolve without Marcus being awake in order to download the digi-egg of destiny back over to his D-Scanner. We arrived at school and went over to our classes and more what probably be for a long time, nothing happened to us or the school that involved digimon .

Mary: AncietVolcanmon comes back and wants to kill us all but once his plan comes out he only ends up killing Gumdramon and Jayden thinks it's his fault for Gumdramon's death. Next time on Digimon Adventures:
