I'm leaving from a trip with my dad on Monday and I'll be gone for a week. To the reviews!
Pinkittwice54: Creepers, they just hate us. It's not bad that you laughed. I felt like adding Skybrine and Withermu in, so I did. What do you mean "what's up with ty?" Nothing's up with Ty, he just went on a walk. *throws a brownie at you*
Siris-The-Blue-Ender-Star: He won't be always be evil. I can't tell you anymore or I'll spoil the plot, but he won't be evil forever. *throws cake at you*
To the story! (Note: the song featured in this chapter is Imaginary by Evanescence)
(Maddy's P.O.V)
"We couldn't go to Narnia, no we had to come to frickin' Minecraft!" I punched the wall in anger "NARNIA WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER THAN THIS!" I punched the wall again, only to have it give way and crumble. It made me feel better though. I turned and continued pacing, which I had been doing for the past three days.
Ty hadn't woken up yet and I couldn't find any physical wounds, so I couldn't do anything to make him wake up sooner. Ty, please wake up. I knew there was a possibility that he wouldn't, but I didn't want to think about it. My greatest fear at the moment was that he wouldn't wake up.
"At least in Narnia we would have gotten to meet Aslan." I muttered "At least in Narnia, we would have gotten to go to Cair Parval and see Peter and Susan and Edmund and Lucy." I turned and walked back across the room. "I wonder if we would've looked the same in Narnia. Probably."
I heard wing beats and whirled around, holding my sword out defensively. Enderlox landed and stared at me calmly. "What do you want?" I snarled
"I came to give you these." He held up two glass bottles full of a pink liquid that, after a moment, I recognized as healing potions. I stared at him suspiciously. Why would he bring healing potions to me?
"I don't want them." I said, turning away from him and crossing my arms.
"Maybe you don't want them, but he needs them."
I didn't need to ask Enderlox who he meant, but I knew he was right. Ty did need healing potions. I sagged and turned back around. I took the potions in defeat and walked over to Ty. Maybe I need to force him awake.
"Ty." I shook his shoulder "Ty?" I shook him harder. "TY!" I slapped him
He sat up, rubbing his cheek. "Who hit me?"
"I did." I replied, holding one of the potions out to him "Drink this."
He took it and drank it quickly. "Where'd you get this?"
I absent mindedly pointed to Enderlox as I went through my inventory. Finding my book, I pulled it out and opened to the page I had originally been on. I looked up at Ty and Enderlox after a few minutes and smiled. They blinked and looked at me strangely. "What?"
I giggled. "Have you guys ever considered the possibility that you might be brothers?"
"No."
"That's sad; I think it's extremely possible. I read this one fanfiction where you were brothers and Enderlox was the older one and then…" I trailed off remembering how the story had ended.
"And what?" Enderlox asked
"You died." I muttered "Protecting Ty from an enderman." I fought to restrain tears, the first time I had read the fanfic, I had cried. It had been sad, but not that sad. I hastily forced myself to become engrossed in my book. Tears slid down my cheeks and splattered onto the page. I hurriedly wiped them off and swiped at my cheeks with my hand.
I'd read about 3 pages when Ty stood up. "I'm going on a walk." He said, walking away
"What is it with you and walks lately?" I asked once he had disappeared. I seriously felt like crying. Stupid mood swings.
"Are you ok?" Enderlox asked
I don't know what it was about that question, but for some reason, when he asked it, the dam broke. Tears streamed down my cheeks and I curled into a ball and huddled in the corner.
Then, it was over. I sat up and wiped my face off with my hand again. Enderlox was looking at me weirdly. "Should I ask?" he muttered
"I have really bad mood swings." I explained "It's irritating."
He cleared his throat and looked away. "I have to go. I told Skybrine that I would meet him and Withermu… up at the surface."
"Ok, I'm just gonna stay here." I replied, not understanding why he was telling this information.
"Will you be alright?"
I nodded. And he left. I didn't have anything else to do, so I started singing.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, paper flowers
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, paper flowers
I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clock screaming
Monsters calling my name
Let me stay
Where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops, as they're falling, tell a story
[Chorus:]
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)
Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos - your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginary light
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, paper flowers
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, paper flowers
I stopped and drew in my notebook for a while. When I was done drawing, I stood and walked over to the wooden door in the wall. I opened it and went in, wanting only to lie down. I crawled under the blanket and fell asleep.
