Chapter 13: Tackle

Draco sighs as he made his way through Hogwarts avoiding place that he knew his friends and Harry were bound to be as he made his way down to the Slytherin Common room, to take a nap before dinner time. When he woke he slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes before swinging his legs to the other side of his bed. Standing up Draco made his way to his mirror to adjust himself before leaving his room.

As he climbed the stairs to the main floor of Hogwarts Pansy and Blaise were heading back Down to the bottom of the stairs as they saw Draco they quickly moved over to him.

"Draco, where have you been?" Blaise asked as Draco put on his Malfoy mask and said nothing as he brushed past them.

"Draco?" Pansy called out reaching out to him but Draco pushed her hand down.

"Enough Parkson."Draco says before walking away.

"What was that about?" Blaise pondered as they watched Draco climb up the stairs.

Ron moaned as he was pushed back against the cold salad of white marble as his lover assaulted his neck with from kisses and bites.

"Vikkkkkkk..." Ron moaned out as he gripped a hold of the Bulgarian seekers shoulders. Viktor smiled as he continued his assault of kisses that were planted all over the Redhead body.

"Hmmm…." Viktor hummed as he placed one more kiss on the other before lifting himself up slightly to look at the one below him.

Ron took this opportunity to pull Viktor into a heated kiss. Viktor smiled as he allowed Ron to take control of the kiss. Ron rubbing his hand all over Viktor chest allowing. Viktor flexed his muscles as he felt Ron trace his finger across them.

"We must go." Viktor says breaking the kiss as Ron pouted slightly. "Then we shall continue this later." he promised as he straightened up his robes along with Ron's before walking away heading to the Grand Hall.

Draco was in deep thought as he was walking through the halls when he bumped into someone.

"Watch where you are going." Draco yelled as he looked up and saw Harry was smiling at him.

"Draco, there you are." Harry said as he helped the blonde to his feet. Draco had not said anything all he did was remain quiet.

"Harry…" Draco said before turning away and running to the Grand Hall not giving Harry a chance to speak.

"Draco?" Harry called out as he watched his lover go.

Harry sat at his usual table in the library as he waited for Pansy and Blaise to come meet up with him. He had just finished all of his holiday homework for the next day and he was looking at how to become an animagus book.

He was trying to learn the steps so during the summer maybe Sirius could teach him how to become one.

"Hello Harry." Pansy says as she looks over at him trying to gauge the Gryfindor's mood but it was unreadable.

"Hello, Pansy,Blaise. Do you guys know why is wrong with Draco?" He asked getting straight to the point.

Blaise shook his head. "No even we don't know what is wrong with Draco. He had not talked to us all over break nor when we came back." Blaise tells him.

Harry looked crestfallen when he heard this, and replied " I see what could be bothering Draco so much to make him act this way?" Harry knew that he would not get a response from them so he said his thanks before trying to locate Professor Snape.

He found the Potions Master in his private study where he had taught Harry, Legimins. Knocking on the door Harry waited patiently outside the door. When the door finally creaked open. Snape looked down at him with the usual sneer.

"Potter, may I ask why you're here and not in the Grand Hall?" Snape asked in his usually monotone voice.

"Well Professor, I was wondering if you knew any reason why Draco is acting so strangely?" Harry asked as he looked at Snape. Snape felt those pools of emeralds pull him in like Lily would always capture him during their school days.

Snape did not know of any reason why his godson would be acting oddly. "Im sorry Mister Potter I don't know of any knowable reason why Mister Malfoy would be acting out of ordinary."

"Then why is he acting like this?" Harry pondered as he look back towards the door.

Neville stood nervously outside the Ravenclaw entrance way. When Luna pocked her head out the entrance.

"You wanted to see me Neville?" Luna says fairly as she gave him a small smile.

"Yeah, I wanted to give you this." He rushed out shoving a parcel towards the blonde who looked at him surprised before taking a hold of the parcel.

Before opening the bag to see a necklace to see it was a black raven which had emerald for eyes.

"Its so beautiful." Luna says as she took it on her palm before she looked back at a Neville.

"I'm glad you like it." Neville says.

"Thank you Neville." Luna says as he kissed Neville on the cheek before going into the portal.

Hermione had gotten the results back from the Auror and they had began the approval of the potion. So she sent her protunas to everyone giving them the message to meet in the room of requirement after dinner.

"Where is Draco, Harry?" Ron asked as he leaned against Viktor whose lap he was sitting on.

"I don't know." Harry says as he frowned slightly before shaking his head slightly.

"Ron, where is Ginny?" Neville asked as Ron looked confused as he opened his mouth but looked to where his sister previously was but she was no longer there.

"That strange she was just here." Ron tells him.

"Ginny just left out the room saying she had something to do." Hermione informs everyone.

Once Blaise and Pansy arrived Hermione began to explain what the next process for the potion to be approved.

"They will begin a testing session for anonymous followers and some prisoners." Hermione says. "To see any effects of the potion."

"How long will the process take, Hermione?" Blaise questioned as he absently rubbed his arm where his death eater mark was present.

"They say about a year of this so possible by the time of graduation." Hermione answers and Blaise nodded his head.

Ginny his behind a bookcase in the library where Draco usually studied at. Right on time Draco entered this area of the library Ginny jumped out and tackled the blonde to the ground.

Draco gasped in surprise as he was sent sprawling on the library floor. "Weasely?!" He says surprised as he saw the youngest Weasely pinning him to the floor.

"Why aren't you talking to Harry?" Ginny questions.
