I decided to go with my own judgement, so Anna may or may not stay a ninja. You'll have to see . . .

Anna: If I end up evil, I'm coming after Ashley and whoever takes my rightful spot. And Kai shall be mine. NinjaMelissa, I am a sociopath. Thanks for noticing.

Yep. She was kinda mad when we read that, but now she's accepted it as a fact of life. She's kinda messed up.

Anna: Yup!

Also, this chapter will only have some things in common with the sneak peek. It was just a sneak peek. Ashley, disclaimer.

Ashley: Fine. She doesn't own Ninjago.

Mysterious Girl's POV

I was always surrounded. By the darkness. It was everywhere, giving the effect of being closed in. Definitely not helping my fear of the dark.

It wasn't very dark, though. Just black. But it still counted.

I remember the old me. The me obsessed with super girlie things. The me that wore dresses, acted like a stuck up popular, the girl that everyone looked up to and hated at the same time. But I've changed. Something has changed within me. Something is not the same. (Who knows what song this is from? Tell me in the reviews!)

My name was Elaine. Not anymore. My hair was a beautiful blonde color. Not anymore. My eyes looked friendly, inviting. Not anymore.

My hair is a pure white, always up in braids, ponytail, or buns. My eyes are like streams of melted snow.

I changed. For the better. And I'm sticking with it.

Ashley's POV

The beginnings of a green ball of energy flickered between Lloyds hands.

"Come on, Lloyd! You can do it!" Nya and I cheered. If he couldn't do this, we were screwed. He had to be able to do it for the final battle. Had to. I held my breath as the slowly growing green orb rapidly flickered.

"I . . . I CAN'T!" He screamed as the glowing orb fizzled out. He collapsed on the ground, all of his energy drained.

We sat down next to him, and Nya opened her mouth to say something. "You just need to focus!" She coaxed.

"I'm trying, but I just can't!" He wailed. "It's like a part of me is . . . Missing." He leaned his head on my shoulder, and Nya and I hugged him.

"Lloyd, the pink ninja can't do it alone. She needs you. We need you." I told him.

"I don't think I can do it." He looked at me.

"Then we've already lost."

Then a guttural scream ripped through the air, coming from our 'hospital.' The three of us jumped up.

"That's no one we know. It must be one of the new ninja." I said, and we ran over.

And I was right. It was one of the new ninja. The one with really light gray hair. She had deep green eyes, and they were full of terror and pain. She was clutching her thigh, and there was a long cut oozing blood.

I heard muffled noises, and saw the other ninja and Kai tied up, and gags sticking out of their mouths. Kai was unconscious, and the other ninja was the one making the muffled noises.

The adults must've been out, and I had Lloyd and Nya with me, so where was . . .

"Ashley." A sharp voice rang from behind me.

I turned around, and Anna's cold eyes analyzed my face strategically. Her hands were coated with blood, and she held a knife with the same metallic red on the blade.

"Anna. Why would you do this?" I ask. I heard a thud, but ignored it.

"Well, I wasn't one of you in the first place." She smiled at me. THUD. "But of course, I couldn't do it alone."

I heard a clang, and fell to the floor as my consciousness fled.

Anna's POV

I looked up to Zane, whom I had chosen to help me with the task.

"Nice. You're getting good at using a frying pan. Now, tie those three up." I directed. Ah, I remember when the Overlord first chose me to go undercover . . .

Flashback start

I was waiting in Ninjago City, and I watched the ninja fighting the Overlord with a drunken mind plagued by evil. The green ninja fell, and I felt no emotion. Not until I saw the red one. Instantly, I felt that he needed to be mine.

So I approached the Overlord, and told him that if he gave me a bit of power and made me look normal, I could help him capture the red ninja, as long as I could keep him for myself.

To my astonishment, he agreed, and gave me everything I would need that wouldn't make them suspicious. In fact, my name changed with my regular self. I chose the name Anna, because I absolutely hated the name Katherine. I would usually go by Kate, but Anna was one of my favorite names.

While I stumbled around trying to find their camp, I formed my backstory. It had to be simple, and no one could suspect me. I had white skin again, and all of my features changed. I looked different, and had an important purpose.

So every night, I would sneak off to send a message through the wind to the Overlord. And no one suspected a thing.

But when Ashley and Kai started having feelings for each other, I knew it was time to act. I contacted the Overlord, and told him I needed Zane as back-up.

He agreed, and told me to prepare, because he didn't know how long it would take for Zane to get here. And when he got there, he wouldn't hold back.

So I did prepare. And I had to get Kai alone, so I got him to work with me in the 'hospital', and then Zane showed up.

"Hey Anna, watch out!" Kai cried as Zane attacked Kai. Knowing Zane would take care of Kai, I tied up Paige, the one that woke up, and put her in a corner.

Then I walked over to Blythe, who was still asleep. I hated her, so I grabbed a knife. I just needed her out of my way for a little longer, so I stabbed her, and dragged the knife down a few inches before pulling it out.

Her blood began to stain her pant leg, and she woke up, eyes full of pain. She saw her leg, and screamed.

It was a horrible sound, and I knew the others would come running. Zane had Kai tied up and unconscious, so he hid while I talked to Ashley. And I succeeded.

Flashback over

I heard voices, so Zane and I picked up Kai. We had to take him back to Master. And then he would be mine.

I used the wind to fly away, and I saw a glimpse of the horror on the faces of Sensei and Misako. Then I knew we had won.

Ashley's POV

I opened my eyes, and looked around. I was in our 'hospital.' Then I remembered what had happened. Anna was gone. I looked around and counted heads. Someone was missing.

"Kai . . ."
