Cage walks along the street until he notices a restaurant. He looks inside the window at the people eating, eyeing the food hungrily. He rubs his stomach then mutters, "Don't remind me," and moves on.

In a subway station, Killgrave and Jessica Jones stand on a platform along with several other New Yorkers. They stand patiently untill a train comes and they pile inside along with everyone else once it stops, making sure to get inside the front car. Once there, they stand by until the doors close and the train starts moving again. As it goes down the tunnel, Killgrave nods and Jessica walks to the division between the first and second car. She is mostly ignored as she opens the door between cars; that is, until she crouches down, gaining a few curious glances in the process. She raises a fist and punches the metal panel separating the cars, putting a large dent in it. One of the passengers quickly begins to make a call as everyone else in the car turn their attention toward her. She digs her fingers under the panel and rips it off, exposing the couplings underneath, then she begins to hammer the panel against them. A man gets out of his seat and rushes to stop her but she backhands him down the length of the aisle. Another passenger goes for the emergency brake but Killgrave touches her hand and takes over, "Please don't do that," he asks. The couplings break, releasing chunks of metal that bounce along the tracks and the underside of the next train, sending sparks. The second car seperates until the safety cables catch-hold, making both cars shimmy. Jessica rips them off next. The passengers in the second car suddenly become aware of the shaking which carries through the entire train as it wobbles along the track. The conductor in the rear gets on his radio and calls up to the lead car, "Hey Frank, what's going on up there?". The front conductor reaches for his CB, only for Killgrave to place his hand on the back of his neck and take over. The conductor quietly drops his hand and keeps driving. The lead car continues on as the rest of the train trails behind and crawls to a halt. Killgrave casually eats an apple as the passengers in the car panic. The rear conductor calls ahead, "Control, this is train 8063. We have a situation here. We need to get all cars off the track now!"

Cage sits in the back of an alley with his head against a wall as he sleeps until the brief wail of a police siren stirs him awake and he jumps to his feet. He looks around for any signs of police but doesn't see any, so he pokes his head around the corner, making sure not to be too noticeable. There, he sees a traffic cop stopping a motorist. "I saw you blow through that stop sign back there," he tells the driver as he writes a ticket. Cage breathes a sigh of relief and begins to retreat back to the alley until he hears the officer's radio. "All available units respond! A suspect has reportedly taken over a subway and has disconnected the lead car from the rest of the train. They have taken hostages. Witnesses have reported seeing a woman with incredible strength. It is believed they are on the E-Train. Repeat, all available units respond." Cage listens intently as the traffic cop quickly runs back to his cruiser. Once the officer gets inside, Cage flings the passenger door open and hops in. "Yeah, I know. I'm Luke Cage and I'm wanted," he tells the officer, "I think I kow who's involved in this. Take me there." "Conductors have been ordered to remove their cars from the tracks," the dispatcher continues as the traffic cop continues to stare at Cage. "Seriously man, we need to go," he tells him, "That's all that needs to happen right now." The officer nervously nods and drives off.

In the subway tunnels, the lead car continues on its path. The conductor drives with a blank stare on his face while Killgrave rides alongside him, happily eating an apple. The passengers in the back are jostled around while Jessica Jones continues to ride in the center of the aisle, seemingly emotionless. In the next station, passengers wait on a platform and once they hear the train approach, they step forward in anticipation, only to see the lead car blow past them without a train behind it.

Meanwhile, Cage rides with the traffic cop. The dispatcher makes a report over the radio, "The train is reportedly on the E-Train heading toward the East River to Manhatten." Cage directs the cop. "Take a left here. They'll be passing through that station." The cop darts across a few lanes of traffic and eventually comes to a stop at a subway entrance. Cage jumps out of the car and heads down stairs, "Thanks." The officer quickly radios to the dispatcher, "This is Unit 785 ...". Cage races down stairs, only to see subway workers directing everyone out of the station. "We got our orders, people," one of the workers says as he herds the passengers out, "We gotta get everyone out of here. Don't make a fuss about it." Cage dashes past them and hops over the turnstyles as workers shout at him, then races to the stairs. He makes his way to the platform and looks down the tunnel as he waits for the train. Soon, a security guard comes down the stairs and aims his gun at him, "Stay where you are!". Cage shakes his head, "Okay. I plan to stay right here for now." The sounds of the car echoes down the tunnel and Cage steps toward the edge of the platform with his arm outstretched and ready. "Get back!," the guard shouts but Cage simply looks down the tunnel and waits. Soon, the car's headlights can be seen as they approach quickly. "I'm warning you!," the guard shouts again as he cocks his gun. A second later, the train darts by and Cage grabs it and is pulled along with it, leaving the guard on the platform.

Cage flails on the side of the car as they fly through the tunnel and soon, it goes into a narrower part of the tunnel while Cage is forced to press himself against the side to avoid getting smashed into the concrete walls. Killgrave pokes his head out of the conductor room and notices him hanging on, "I was hoping he'd make it." Cage continues to ride as the car emerges out of the tunnel and soon, he is exposed to the open air as the car flies down the East River Bridge. Cage is faced with a long drop to the water below on either side as he is carried to Manhatten Island. He climbs along the length of the car, making sure not to slip and fall into the river, then comes around to the front where he sees Killgrave, the conductor... and Jessica who furiously puts her fist through the windshield. Cage tumbles over the front end and flies off the side, nearly going into the river before he manages to grab on to the car again. He dangles off the side by one hand, the rest of his body stretched out toward the edge of the bridge. He soon realizes a beam is rapidly heading his way and narrowly pulls himself against the side before he hits it. Jessica walks down the aisle of the car as passengers scramble out of her way. She stands on the other side of the window and pulls her arm back, so Cage flops around on his back a second before she punches out the glass. She moves to the next window in another attempt to knock Cage off, punching the window out. Cage flips over the top of the car and nearly drops off the back before he holds on again and manages to put his feet on what's left of the broken coupling. Jessica races toward the back of the car, throwing herself into a flying kick, but he leaps onto the top of the car as she rips the door open; it bounces along the track behind them. As the car makes its way to the other side of the bridge, it once again goes into a tunnel. Cage, who is sitting up, has a split second to flatten himself agaisnt the top of the car to avoid getting knocked off. He clears the tunnel and rides through it while on his stomach.

He crawls, sliding his body along the top as he makes his way to the front once again. Jessica, meanwhile, crawls onto the top of the train after him. He manages to make it to the front of the car where he throws himself inside, knocking Killgrave onto the floor in the process. Cage gets up, shoving the conductor to the side as he looks at the control, "Where the hell is the brake on this thing?". Killgrave quickly gets up and moves to the back of the car. Cage raises a fist and shrugs, ready to put it through the control-panel but Jessica drops down, kicking him against the back wall. She comes in for the attack but Cage quickly grabs her in a bear hug, spins around, and puts his foot through the controls of the car. The wheels grind to a halt, shooting sparks as the passengers fall over themselves and Killgrave grabs a metal bar to brace himself. Jessica kicks off the side of the car, throwing Cage against the broken windshield, but almost falls outside. He pushes her toward the back of the car amongst the passengers and there, he pins her against the metal bar with one hand and rips it away from the cieling with the other. He bends the bar, wrapping it around Jessica to hold her as she tries to kick free. Meanwhile, as the car slows to a crawl, Killgrave quickly jumps out to the maintenance platform along the tunnel walls. There, he hurries toward the next station. Jessica kicks and screams as she struggles against the broken bar wrapped around her. Cage turns to the passengers, "You folks okay?". They nod silently. From there, he jumps out onto the tracks and races down the tunnel.

"Killgrave!," he shouts. Killgrave hears and sprints toward the next platform. Meanwhile, Jessica gradually bends the bar back to free herself.
