A/N: I'm sorry it took so long to get my epilogue Finished. Thank for all who have been reading this despite my inconsistent updates. This is the first big story I have ever written and I am extremely proud to say that it is finished. It may not be a masterpiece, but I am very glad to have gotten over the 20,000 word hurtle. It is very far from perfect, but I hope you have enjoyed it all the same.
Eleven Years Later...
"But muum..." Teddy Lupin whined as he made his way to the Headmistress's office. "I live here, I'm already at Hogwarts, so why do I need to spend seven and a half hours on a train that's only going to take me to the same place I left?"
"Because Teddy," I explained gently," Riding the train your first year is the best way to make friends."
"I already have friends."
"That may be true, Teddy, but you could always use more friends and I'm sure there are going to be muggleborns on the train. You should help them feel more comfortable." I argued. We stopped our way to Minerva's office. I knew that Draco and kids were already inside waiting for us.
"Fine." He said as I whispered the password to the gargoyle. "This year is going to suck."
"Why would you say that Teddy?" I asked, slightly miffed, as he had been looking forward to this day for years.
"Because," Teddy explained," My dad is my potions professor, my mom is the school healer, and I have four younger siblings running around Willy nilly, Along with Uncle Neville's and Aunt Luna's kids. Plus Uncle Neville's going to be my Herbology teacher. All of my classmates are going to think that I get special treatment. At least I won't have to take care of magical creature with Aunt Luna."
"The upper classmates like you well enough, don't they?" Draco asked as we entered the office. Minerva sat at her desk amused. Teddy looked at him questioningly.
"Yes." He responded.
"Well, there you go son, nothing to worry about. Anyways, Victoire likes you well enough doesn't she? So at least you'll have one friend your year."
"Dad!" Teddy whimpered, his face reddening." She's a girl..."
"So what?" I scold. "Your Uncle Harry was friends with Your Aunt Hermione first year, wasn't she?"
"That's different. Uncle Harry doesn't apply to normal peoples' rules!" Teddy cried. "Don't you remember when Aunt Ginny asked Him to marry her when I was five because he still hadn't worked up the nerve, even though he bought the ring three years before. Or what about the time Uncle Fred and Uncle George turned all the adults into birds, except Harry's malfunctioned and he ended up with a purple beard instead Or..."
"Being friends with girls is good Teddy." Draco interrupted. "That way, when you get older they'll be more likely you agree to go on a date with you."
"Yeah, well mum hated you until her fifth year, and that turned out alright, didn't it?" Teddy said. "Anyways girls are icky."
"Well, as icky as girls are, Teddy, you need to hop in the floo before you miss the train." Minerva said. I smiled at her gratefully.
"Professor McGonagall is right, Teddy. We'd best leave now." I said, glancing around. Draco was holding the hands of Lyra and Orion, who were five and three respectively. Eight year old Leo was standing nearby them, looking preoccupied with the orange kitten he was holding in his arms.
"Leo, I thought we agreed that Carrot was not coming with us to the train station." I scolded.
"But mom. Carrot's a part of the family too!" Leo said, with his siblings also loudly voicing their agreement. I rubbed my temples and sighed.
"Just this once okay? And only because we're running late." I said, my statement met with the cheers of my children. "Let's go."
19 years later...
"Ella, we're over here!" Ginny called out as I scanned the platform. Following her voice I lead my family to the gigantic mass of redheads coneregatining in the center of the platform.
"I can't believe you're sending your last child off to Hogwarts." Ginny announced, giving me a hug. "I'm only sending my second!"
"You only have three mum, and I go off in two years. " Lily announced, ever blunt. Ginny gave me a look.
"Thank you for reminding me dear. I was certain there was four of you..." Ginny teased. Her daughter giggled. "Luna and George are over there. Luna's giving Fabian and Wesley their yearly amulets and pranks."
"How those two's kids turned out somewhat normal, I'll never know." Draco said, coming up behind me. Harry, Ron, and Hermione followed.
" I bet that Albus is a Hufflepuff, Orion is a Slytherin, Damien is a Ravenclaw and Alice Longbottom turns out to be a Slytherin." Rom called out.
"I bet every choice you made there is wrong. Five Galleons to it. You've never been right about the sortings once." Draco rebutted.
"Not true... Um ... " Ron stuttered trying to think of one kid whose house he guessed right. " I got my kids right!"
"Fine. Then you're wrong about everyone except for Damien." Draco amended.
"Deal." Ron agreed. "I win if any one of those children gets the house I called out." They both shook hands. Hermione and I glanced at each other, silently agreeing that our husbands were insane. We then turned to our children, only to find that they'd already gotten on the train. Luna and George walked over to meet us.
"Another year beginning." Luna said wistfully. "Where does the time go?"
"At least you get to see them everyday." Hermione told her. "That was our last one. The house is going to be so empty now."
"You can always have more." George said. Hermione glared at him. I smiled leaning into Draco as my friends continued to bicker. Life wasn't perfect but it was the best I could ask for.
"Teddy, where have you been?" Draco asked when he saw Teddy walking towards us in the now emptying platform. His hair was messy and he had lipstick marks on his face.
"Snogging Victoire." Harry answered for us. " James spotted you two."
"I'm proud of you son." Draco told him. I elbowed Draco in the ribs. Yep, life was pretty good.
