Soundwave didn't see how anyone could know the difference between certain buildings. They all looked the same, save for the fact there were two different heights. It was solely a matter of memorization, it seemed. Erro thankfully knew where they were headed so he didn't need to worry about wandering around looking for someone he didn't even know. Some Programs stopped and greeted her, attempted to make small talk, but were eventually scared off by his presence. As he watched the last male say an awkward goodbye, he depressingly ached for someone to acknowledge his presence without negativity. How he had survived this back on the Nemesis? Perhaps it wasn't as obvious there? He resisted sitting down and just curling in a ball of defeat. He just wanted his berth back. Eventually they came to one of the taller buildings, four Programs hanging near the entrance. They all nodded to Erro when she approached, but got suspicious when they saw Soundwave.

"Relax, boys, he's with me." She waved a hand and they moved out of the way, though they held their discs up threateningly when Soundwave passed. He didn't give them a second glance, for his sake.

The life lines in the building pulsed with energy, running towards the middle rather than outwards and away from it. The hum was soothing, and he surprisingly found himself calmed by the atmosphere of it. This seemed to be the building that powered the 'illusion' that hid the place. Soundwave wondered how they had managed to power it so just a few buildings were hidden rather than more of the city. Perhaps it would be too obvious and Barrage would notice and become suspicious. Still, it was almost pitiful how much they had managed to do; he looked forward to fixing things to his liking. The building was like the one before: no door, required a password, and opened on command. Only this time it opened to a massive room that looked similar to the Nemesis command center, only without the datastations lining the walls. A single Program was standing near what looked like the control station, monitoring a few digital screens suspended in the air. His suit was not adorned with a lot of life lines like any other Program; only slivers of blue, almost white light scattered him. He turned when they approached, Soundwave noticing four square pixels on his chest forming the human letter T.

"Tron," Erro greeted with a nod of her head. "We've been looking for you."

"Hmm, I didn't think you would be at this time," he replied with a smile. His eyes twitched when he studied Soundwave. "Who is this?"

"Another Program willing to join our noble cause; he calls himself Ster."

Tron's eyes narrowed slightly. "He seems familiar…"

This is what Soundwave was afraid of; he would recognize him from the Games and know that he was Barrage's champion. After several tense seconds ticked by, Tron relaxed and stuck out his hand. "Welcome, Ster, we're happy to have you."

Soundwave shook his hand, their heights easily the same. He wondered why he knew such a human-like gesture; it was a strange thing he had never done before. Tron didn't have a visor like many of the other Programs, his floppy blond hair swept up on his forehead. His eyes looked kind and wistful.

"How are things with Barrage?" Tron asked Erro, releasing Soundwave's hand.

"Good," she replied, cocking a hip. "He knows you survived, but he hasn't found us yet."

So Tron knew Erro was with Barrage; what he didn't know, it seemed, was who he thought was his ally was actually the spy of his enemy. Erro had done a superb job tricking him apparently; that was another thing he was going to change. Change was one thing he could control.

"That's to be expected," Tron spoke, jolting him out of his thoughts. "I wasn't as careful as I wish I had been, but as long as he hasn't found the entry point we'll be fine."

"What needs to be done?" Soundwave asked suddenly. He couldn't wait to put himself to work, to be useful again.

Tron blinked in surprise. "Pardon?"

"What needs to be done to ensure that Barrage does not find this place?"

"Uh, Ster, I think you're rushing things a little," Erro spoke up, her eyes giving away that she didn't approve of him asking questions. "We did just get here."

"I am not," Soundwave retaliated. "What needs to be done?"

Tron looked stunned. "Well, if you're so anxious to get started, I guess we could-"

"Ster, could I talk to you for a second?" Erro interrupted.

Soundwave was about to say no when she practically dragged him away to speak with him. "What do you think you're doing?" she hissed, gripping his arm.

"I am asking what we can do to improve things," he growled sharply, not enjoying the sensation of being touched.

"Improve things? Soundwave, in case you haven't noticed, we're not here to improve things. We're just here to observe and report!"

"Perhaps things would have been better if you had actually moved things along," he snapped back.

"Is everything okay?" Tron asked from where he stood.

"Just fine!" Erro answered. "We are not here to help. You are here to listen to me and do what I say, or things will get messy." She ended with a warning, though he was bristling with anger.

"You too don't seem to get along well," Tron mused, folding his arms.

Soundwave ripped his arm out of Erro's grasp, bearing down upon her in bridled aggression. It would be so easy to derezz her right now and get her annoying self out of the way. He flexed his fists, thinking of all the ways he could make her scream. But he stopped; that would scare off Tron and then he'd never listen to him. Fuming, Soundwave turned on his heel and briskly walked out of the building, not caring if he was abandoning everything. He could come back, but right now he had to restrain himself from killing someone.

Soundwave needs a hug you guys. :/
