Revy had been sent to Texas on a mission to steal a disc containing valuable data on the CIA, which Balalaika knew would prove quite useful to her as opposed to some small-time thugs with half an idea what they were doing. But little did she know, Rubi Malone, another badass female mercenary, had also been hired by the CIA to recover the data (I know, it's the best scenario I could come up with, sorry). Rubi was staked out on the roof at a skylight while Revy was behind a set of door, both looking and listening as they handlers of the disc began an auction for the data. At that moment, Revy burst through the door and began shooting everyone in sight as Rubi broke the skylight and dropped down, also firing at the bidders. In about a minute, the two had mowed down everyone in the room before taking aim at each other.

"Who the hell are you?!" Revy demanded.

"Name's Rubi. I'm just here for the disc. So if you back off, you can walk away from this instead of being carried out in a body bag." Rubi told her.

Revy laughed a bit at this. "Sorry, sister, but you've got it backwards. Get your ass out of here before I put a couple extra holes in it!" She snapped.

"I didn't want to, but it looks like we gotta do this the hard way." Rubi said, both girls tightening their grip around the triggers of their guns.

Both girls fired at each other while running in opposite directions for cover, each taking cover behind support beam, reloading before popping out and shooting, Rubi rushing straight forward and sliding as she fired, Revy running diagonally right towards a nearby table, jumping on it and pushing off, diving forward and shooting at her sliding adversary, but both of them managing to avoid the bullets as Rub took cover behind an overturned table and Revy had dove behind a large thing for flowers (I don't know what they're called, but they're waist high, normally made of concrete and filled with dirt/soil for flowers, that's the best I can describe it). "Picking out flowers for your funeral?" Rubi called as she swapped her revolvers for her shotguns

"I was thinking about sending them to yours!" Revy called back, popping out and firing at the table Rubi used for cover, when suddenly, Rubi popped out with two sawed-off machine guns.

"Aw, shit!" Revy said as she quickly ran to the side just as Rubi pulled the trigger. She escaped mostly unharmed, but 2 pellets managed to put a couple holes in her left arm just below her shoulders. At that moment, Revy fired at not Rubi, but the shotguns in her hands before she could turn, shooting the guns out of her hands and putting holes just behind the barrel.

"Dammit!" Rubi cursed as she threw away the damaged guns, pulling out her sub-machine guns.

"This chick's no joke. But I bet this will trip her up." Revy said as she pulled out a grenade, pulled the pin and threw it just as Rubi popped out from cover and prepared to fire.

"Shit!" She said, turning and starting to run, the grenade still catching her at the end of its blast and sent her flying a couple feet, the machine guns flying from her grip. "You're not bad, but I've still got guns to spare!" She shouted as Revy ran to secure the case which had the disc. She pulled out one of her crossbows as Revy got up the stairs to the small podium on the stage and fired at the space between Revy and the podium. It would've been a harmless miss, IF the bolts didn't have explosives on them, blasting Revy back off the stage and behind another support beam.

"Fucking hell!" Revy grunted as she hit the ground, getting up with a little extra effort. "You're not bad, bitch! But you just pissed off the great Revy and no one has ever survived that!" She shouted.

"If you shot as good as you talk shit, I would've been dead already!" Rubi taunted, as she walked up to the support beam Revy was behind, stopping about 5 feet away, slowly and cautiously rounding it.

THAT struck a nerve with "Two-hands". "Oh, you're as good as dead now, bitch!" Revy snapped, rounding right around the support beam (Rubi had been rounding on the left), rushing in and tackling Rubi to the ground, knocking the crossbows out of her hands and slamming her to the floor HARD before landing on top of her. From there, she straddled the down American girl, holding her head down with her shot arm and punching her in the face over and over with her good arm. Eventually, Rubi managed to catch Revy by the wrist with her left hand before she landed another punch and threw a right hook, knocking the Chinese-American off her her. She got up quickly and pulled out her katana as Revy recovered from the punch and looked up to see the enraged black-haired girl standing over her with a sword. She grimaced in pain as she remembered a moment similar to this and knew she only had one move left to save her life

"Time to die, bitch!" Rubi shouted angrily as she thrust the sword downwards. Blood gushed everywhere at that moment. Rubi had a look of absolute shock etched on her face as the front of her shirt became soaked and engulfed in red. She had been shot in the heart.

"You were too slow. If it were Jumbo instead of you, I probably would've been dead, girl. You just don't have his talents." Ruby said through the pain as the katana had sunk a few inches into her knee. Rubi was silent as life slowly left her and she fell to the floor, shock and horror still present on her face. "Yeah, you should be scared. I told you, no one lives after pissing off 'Two-hands.'" Revy said, before hissing in pain as she remembered the sword sticking into her knee. (This is gonna suck!) She thought, gripping the back of the blade and pulling it out with a shout of pain. "AAAAAAAAAAGH! SON OF A BITCH, THIS HURTS!" She howled, grabbing onto one of the now-dead Rubi's pant legs and ripping a decent sized amount of cloth away, wrapping her leg with it. "Thank god we're getting top dollar for this job, or I'd kick old fry-face's ass." Revy grumbled as she retrieved the case and limped off the scene.

Analysis:

1: This is probably the single closest fight I have EVER written. Anyway, both girls were perfectly matched in just about every way. Really, they have INCREDIBLY similar feats: both have jumped between high moving vehicles while under, both have been shown to be highly athletic and acrobatic, performing many jumps, flips and dive as they shot down their enemies and both have been shown to be capable physical combatants, BUT there's a slight difference in their feats tipping the scale in Revy's favor, if only barely. 1, while the cars were likely moving faster, Rubi had many options of cars to jump to on the highway at many different, but normally close distances, whereas Revy had to jump between a MUCH smaller number of boats spaced further out than the cars while carrying a grenade launcher, which is a good amount heavier than Rubi's much smaller weapons. 2, Revy has more hand-to-hand combat experience, while Rubi has a sword, so she may not be quite as skilled as Revy without a weapon to fall back on. 3, both have taken life-threatening injuries, but Revy takes them much more often with much less actual damage. 4, albeit with help on occasions, Revy ordinarily faces a larger number of enemies at one time than Rubi does, meaning she can probably handle herself better against greater numbers.

2: Revy has MUCH higher durability in than Rubi. Rubi has taken electrocution before with no real lasting damage, but in brief intervals and only a few times and she has been stabbed in the stomach which nearly killed her. We haven't seen Revy take that kind of injury, but she has been shot and stabbed, albeit in non-life-threatening areas, but she only shouts and complains about it and is still capable of continuing without much lack in performance. Ordinarily, a human getting shot or stabbed in a limb would render that limb pretty much useless until properly treated, but again, Revy can still continue without the injury hindering her. Also, Revy has been DIRECTLY hit with an RPG and only got a concussion, which she woke up from in about 10 minutes, give or take, so Rubi's much weaker explosive darts could hurt her, but not nearly to the same extent, especially if they don't DIRECTLY hit her.

3:Revy likely has more experience than Rubi does, as in WET, Rubi's bio card said she came from humble beginnings, whereas Revy came from an absolute shithole where she was pretty much on her own from day one and, while somewhat vague, we knew she was already killing people and ripping them off from a very young age. And she even matched Roberta, a HIGHLY skilled soldier to a standstill (that may not be the right word, but it was a draw) after having been shot in the shoulder. So, while Rubi may have SLIGHTLY more skills, Revy has greater experience and enough skill over her own to keep up.

4: Revy has been shown to shoot people's weapons before and render them useless, so she would likely be able to gradually take away Rubi's gun, leaving her with fewer and fewer options, lessening her arsenal and tipping the scale in Revy's favor. Also, Revy is insane, which makes her dangerously unpredictable. Coupled with her short temper, this makes her one of the single most dangerous women alive. She has been shown on many occasions to risk her life when she has the slightest chance of coming out on top and it usually works.

5: Revy has faced both skilled gunmen and a very skilled swordsman who can cut bullets in half at point blank range. While she BARELY escaped with her life, she still beat him and since Rubi has not been shown to have that kind of reactions, speed or skill, we can assume she'd have an easier time outmatching Rubi than she did outmatching Ginji. In the end, it was close, but Revy had just enough skill and experience to pull ahead.
