*Yes this story is still alive. Hope you enjoy! :)

Chapter Thirteen:

Even though Rynn wasn't there when the Necros killed Imam she still kept waking up, tossing and turning. Nightmares about his death haunted her. Or maybe it was her conscious. Guilt. Feeling guilty for something she wasn't able to prevent.

"Feeding time!"

That jolted her awake and out of bed quickly. "Shit!" She exclaimed.

"What?" Riddick asked.

"Their releasing those damn dogs."

Riddick smirked and grabbed her wrist, dragging her out into the open.

"What the hell are you doing?" She clawed, trying to pry his hold from her but he kept dragging her along without a single word. "Riddick?!"

There was a small space in the wall. Riddick pushed her back against it while he was in front of her, to protect her. "Watch."

"Your fucking nuts!"

"You still love me." A tone to his voice. Playful. Cocky.

Didn't take long for one of those dogs to walk pass them, without a bother...at first.

It returned.

It's head slowly appearing through the water. It's color changing from grey to red, baring it's teeth. Growling. Creeping closer while Rynn watched all from the saftey behind Riddick.

Riddick ended up taking his goggles off, the animal took notice, another pair of shined eyes starring back it. The hound got closer and Riddick actually leaned forward a bit, growling lightly, starring right into the eyes of another animal. Eyes that were just like his. The stare down continued on for a few seconds more, the dominate one winning. Riddick. Whom was actually petting it, going from wild beast to tame.

Rynn's nervous calmed once she saw Riddick had the animal under contorl. Reason being, it was in company of another, more dominate animal. A Furyan animal.

In a protective cell, Ben got the guts to peek around the corner, amazed at what he was seeing. A noise was heard and it was time for the dog to go back to it's cage but before it did it jumped at Ben, giving him a start. Good thing there were bars between them. Once the dog was completely out of sight his attention went to Rynn.

"You know..." Ben pointd to Riddick. "...He's nuts, right?!"

"Not nuts, Ben."

Riddick's shined eyes met his. "It's an animal thing."

"He's nuts." Ben reverberated to Rynn which made her smile proudly.

The guards popped the cork, opening the "windows" above the slam, making sure the scorchered sun wasn't coming around yet.

Riddick couldn't help but gaze above. Watching. Taking note of the vents as dust blew. "So they do go top side. To swap out air. Interesting."

"Just who the hell are you?" Ben asked for what seemed like the thousand time.

Riddick looks over to him with his goggles back on.

Rynn joins Ben and sits down next to him. She places a hand to his shoulder getting his attention.

Riddick looks over at the two.

"Seriously, Rynn." Ben's head turns to look at her. "Who is he?"

"One thing he isn't, Ben." Rynn's eyes look to Riddick. "He ain't nobody."

"We still gonna do this?" Riddick getting little irratated...with Ben.

"Yes." Rynn was quick to answer. "You coming too, Ben?"

He looked at her confused.

"We're getting out of here your more than welcome to come." She heard Riddick lightly huff at that. "Don't start again, Riddick-"

Ben placed his hand over hers and that little, innocent movement just about made Riddick reach across Rynn and snap his neck. If it wasn't for Rynn he would have.

"Thank you. Your a wonderful person but my place is here and yours is with Riddick. Go with him, with a clean conscious." Ben gave her a warm smile that it was okay to leave him behind even though it wasn't so easy for her.

She reached over and gave Ben a warm hug, holding him for a few seconds before letting go and kissing him on the cheek. That wasn't to Riddick's liking either.

"When it happens, it'll happen fast." Informing the prisons who wanted to take the chance to escape. "Stay on my leg or stay here. For the rest of your unnatural life."

"Are you saying you want me to go?" Ben asked confused.

"You fall behind, you get left behind. Your choice."

"I already made my choice."

Riddick looked at Rynn before disappearing.

"I hope you two make it. I really do. Nobody ops this place though, Rynn. Nobody. You know that."

"Like I said, Ben. He ain't nobody."

Riddick was off somewhere scoping out the slam more while Rynn was below. An overwhelming feeling stopped her dead in her tracks. Her attention went to the commotion above. Toombs had returned...with another catch that felt all too fimiliar.

"Here she is boys." Toombs shoved the girl into the room. "Now...where's my cut?"

He was just looked at the men, one was holding a small screen in his hand. "I don't think you'll be getting your money, Toombs."

"Why the hell not?"

"This is why." The man turned the monitor around for Toombs to have a look. A ship on the screen but it wasn't just any ship it was one of the Necros' ships.

"They don't know about her." Toombs exclaimed.

"Your right. It's not her there after..." He started loading his gun with bullets. The tension in the room getting heavier.

Toombs was left puzzled.

"...It's Riddick they have come for. You stole him from THEM!"

"You mean Riddick is here?!" Life coming back into the girls voice.

"Shut up, Jack!" Toombs shouted.

"The names KYRA!" Kyra shouted and kicked Toombs' shin. Her actions got her shoved aside and that started an even bigger brawl. Kyra ran to the rope hanging from the hole, she slid down it and into the slam below.

Rynn say a small body sliding down the rope. "Oh my god! JACK!"

"RYNN!" Riddick shouted at her but she didn't stop, didn't listen, she kept running towards Kyra.

Above, the brawl was continuing. Hitting, punching, firing of guns.

"Oh god, Jack!" Rynn finally made it to her, pulling her safely into her arms right as Riddick caught up and ripped the two apart. "Reunion time can wait." The distraction above gave them time to get the hell out of there.
