AN: I never wanted to do this, but I'm afraid it is unavoidable at this point. A while ago, I lost access to the notes for DC:OR. I didn't keep them in the same place as the notes for my other two fics since DC:OR was older. As the first, its notes were in a few journals I had before I started putting the important info on my laptop and flash drives. I hadn't felt like moving the notes over so I kept them as they were… I should have just transferred them. During a move, the box the notes were in got mixed up with a different one and were thrown out. I've been spending my time since the last chapter release trying to decide how to proceed. I don't remember enough of the original story line to continue it as it was, so or now, as much as this pains me to say, DC:OR is officially on hiatus. Potentially permanently.
I don't want to just give up her though, so this is where you guys come in. Finding a new direction for the story that matched it's previous length would be difficult. Doable, but definitely difficult. The most I remember right now is the next chapter and maybe the one after that. So, here is the choice I'm presenting to you all. I take the hiatus and try to tweak as well as remember my old story line and adapt the story accordingly, or I can go ahead and start work on the next chapter with a fresh perspective and let the story write itself from there. That second option may lead it to being shorter than I originally intended, but it would no longer be in danger of dying. So, what do you all want?
