Ohiyo! So, here we are once again!

"Kalika, awaken from your slumber," Eska's voice demanded. I jerked away from where her voice came from and swatted her away.
"Five more minutes," I grumbled, pulling the blanket closer, which was pointless because Eska pulled it away almost immediately.
"I was coming to inform you that Desna was waking up, but if you don't feel the need the stand beside your beloved in his time of need in a vain attempt to win his affections, then I won't waste my breathe."
I sat up slowly. "Dessy-bear…is awake?"
"Yes, and he's been inquiring as to where you are." I groaned, throwing my legs over the side of the bed, rubbing my eyes tiredly. I stumbled off the bed, wrapping my arms around Eska's shoulders, leaning on her as we made our way to the infirmary. "Are you always this lethargic in the mornings?"
"Wha…yeah, I guess," I murmured, resting my head on her shoulder.
We paused for a moment outside the room before Eska pushed the door open. There was a crowd of people surrounding a bed, making it impossible to see the person inhabiting it. The buzz of frantic conversation stopped and everyone turned to stare at us. "Depart from the room," Eska commanded, glaring out at the room. People froze, shared some looks with their neighbors and quickly exited the room, making a point to not meet Eska's gaze.
After the door closed behind the last person, it was only Desna, Eska, and me in the room. "Dessy-Bear!" I exclaimed, running across the room to envelope Desna in a hug which would be the Kika equivalent to a Molly Weasley hug. "Are you okay?!"
"Yes, Kalika," he replied. "I was merely unconscious due to a combined attack of three extremely talented water benders which was made increasingly more powerful by means of spirit energy."
"Are you being sarcastic?" I asked, pulling away slightly to look at his face.
"Your powers of deduction are almost as weak as Bolin's brother's," he smirked.
I grinned widely, hugging him again. "Ah~ my Dessy-bear's okay!" I announced.
"Not unless I fall unconscious once again due to lack of oxygen reaching my brain because of your unnecessarily tight grasp."
"Oh, shush," I rolled my eyes, sitting down next to him on his temporary bed. "Thank your sister!"
"Eska?"
"No, your other sister Deska," I replied. "Of course, Eska! She brought you back here after you got hurt even though your father told her to leave you and continue to help him open the portal."
Desna was silent for a moment, as if thinking something over, before he said, "Thank you, Eska."
"It was only right, brother," Eska replied smiling. "I wouldn't be able to fathom losing both my love and my brother in a matter of two weeks."
"And now that we're on that topic, maybe it's better that you don't marry Bolin," I said, mulling it over.
"What are you saying, Kalika?" Eska growled.
"Obviously you and Bolin belong together forever," I defended. "You guys are totally my OTP, besides me and Desna of course. Anyway, back to my point, if you married Bolin, you would have Mako as your brother-in-law, and that's where the problem would be. Not only is he super angsty and a total jerk, but his eyebrows are so weird and he's such a stick in the mud! But his eyebrows! Ugh, I hate them, why are they like that? Oh, not to mention he's kind of dim, and not in a cute way, like Bolin, like a total 'I'm a major jerk, but I don't understand anything' kind of way, and-"
"Well, I suppose you do have a point," Eska nodded. "His eyebrows are quite peculiar."
"Now that you mention it, they are quite odd," Desna agreed.
The corner of Eska's mouth twitched in a sort of smile. "You know, Kalika, you're correct. It is for the best that Bolin left me at the altar. I must find a man who can compete with my precious Bolin that doesn't have an angsty brother!"
"Wait, what?" I turned to face her. "No, that's not what I meant…"
But she had already left the room, determination in her steps. "What did you mean?" Desna asked, leaning back against the wall.
"I only meant that she should dispose of Mako," I shrugged.
"You would want her to eliminate Bolin's brother? Wouldn't that make her less appealing to him?"
"What? I don't want her to kill him, that would be totally unreasonable. I simply want that he's out of the picture, like disowned or something."
"Ah, because that would be the reasonable thing to do," Desna nodded, closing his eyes for a moment.
It was quiet, the only noise was the Sato-Clock hanging on the wall, ticking away the seconds. "I'm really glad that you're okay," I told him, chewing on my thumbnail nervously. He remained silent, but I could feel his eyes on me, so I continued. "Because I like Desna the best."
"Who is it that you would be comparing me to?" Desna replied, sounding amused.
"No one because Desna's the best," I shrugged, tilting my head to the side as I traced the pattern in his blanket. Hearing him sigh, I looked up at him, seeing his eyes closed as his head rested on the wall. I leaned closer to him. "Desna?"
He peeked open one eye, watching me. "Kalika?"
I pouted, nudging my nose against his. "What…should I do?" he cocked his head to the side. "It's your call."
"Just kiss her already!" Mai-Tao exclaimed, popping her head in the room, Eska nodding behind her.
I felt my face heat up as Desna stared into my eyes and let out a nervous giggle. "Do you wish for me to…?" he muttered, not breaking eye contact. I nodded vigorously, all too aware of Eska's eyes on my back as Desna closed the gap between us. I squeaked, surprised, and if I wanted to be clichéd, I'd tell you about how amazing the kiss was and how soft his lips were, and how I really, really wished it lasted longer than it did, but alas it didn't. When he pulled away, Mai-Tao squealed in a fangirl-ish manner, and Eska nodded approvingly.
"The proper amount of time for this event in your romantic life together has certainly passed months ago, but I'm glad that you two have finally done this," she said, and I suppose in Eska talk it means "It's about time."
I grinned. "Indeed, Eska, my friend," I replied, tilting my head towards Desna. "This better mean we're dating now," I threatened.
Kind of a short chapter. Oh, how I hate the fluff. Anyways, I shall return…after I get my homework and studying done. I'll hopefully update before the 14th, and so…
