A/N: Hello again everyone! Before we get started, I'd like to thank ms simmons, winterschild11, annabellex2, Guest, XxxAnimaniacxxX, mrs. hutcherlark, and child who is cool for reviewing last chapter!

I'm glad that you all enjoyed the Kendall/Jo/Lucy meeting! :) This chapter is pretty short, but it's mostly a lead in to next chapter, which is where the drama returns.

Chapter Thirteen

Kendall and I spent the night just wrapped up in each other's arms, and it was the most intimate thing I have ever done with someone. I know that I'm completely falling for this guy.

Looking at him now, sleeping next to me, I lean over and kiss his bare shoulder. When I do, he begins to stir and wake up. I tangle my legs with his and pull him in tight.

"Morning." He mumbles with his eyes closed, causing me to chuckle a little.

"Coffee?" I ask.

"Please?"

I can tell that he's not exactly a morning person, so I give him a little time to wake up. I slip out of bed and go into the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. While it's brewing I pick up my phone that's lying on the counter and I see that I have a missed text from Jo.

Had fun last night. We should all hang out again soon!

"Ugh, who are you texting this early?" I hear Kendall ask as I start typing a response. I look up, watching as Kendall strolls lazily into the kitchen and towards me.

"I'm texting Jo." I say as he wraps his arms around my waist. "Coffee's ready." I say as he starts to nip at my jaw.

"Oh, good." He says before grabbing one of the mugs I've already gotten down and pours his cup, drinking it black. "I've got to head out soon. There are some errands I need to run before my eleven o'clock class."

"It's okay. I have a ten o'clock class anyway." I respond as we move to sit on the couch. I drape my arm over him as he leans into me, kicking his feet up on the coffee table. I love that he feels so relaxed being here.

"Hey, you wanna hang out Wednesday?" I ask suddenly. "I have my long workout that morning, but you can join me if you want. And we can do whatever you want after we're done." I offer.

"Sounds good. I don't have any classes on Wednesdays so I'm free." He responds with a smile.

We spend the next half hour lying around and finishing off the pot of coffee before Kendall heads out. I have a full load of classes today, so I quickly take a shower and get cleaned up before driving up to campus.

Walking into Jo's bedroom, I hear the shower in the bathroom. Sitting at her desk, I decide use her laptop to check my bank account.

I've been able to get through college without help from my parents. I came here on an academic scholarship and have been able to qualify for a few grants along the way.

'Just one more things my parents can't hold over me I guess.' I thought bitterly.

"What are you doing?" I hear Jo ask from behind me.

"Nothing really, just messing around. I just finished my last class and thought I'd come and hang out with you." I say while staring at the screen.

I turn around to face her, immediately noticing how dressed up she is.

"Going somewhere?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, there's a party at Jack's fraternity tonight and he asked me to go." She respond without an ounce of happiness behind her words.

"You sound thrilled." I say, to which she lets out a sigh.

"It's just… I'm not into him aside from the kissing. We have nothing in common, and I feel nothing towards him."

I can't help the smirk that crosses my face. This is just like Jo.

"This should not be a surprise to you Jay." She says with an eye roll.

"Nope, no surprise at all. Typical Jo, devoid of all things emotional. Well, except for me." I say, flashing her a big smile before turning back to the laptop as she fixes up her hair. I shut the lid on the laptop when I finish up and walk over and sit on the edge of her bed. I watch as she finishes getting ready, noticing the un-excited expression on her face.

"What?" She asks when she noticed me staring.

"Stay with me tonight. I can tell you don't want to go out, so come to my place." I offer.

"I can't. He'll be here any second. Plus, I need to talk to him."

"About what?"

"I just need to let him know that I don't have time for dating or anything." She says.

I can't help but laugh a little, my laughter only increases when she smacks me on my arm.

"I'm sorry. You know I love you and all, but I don't even know why you bothered with this one." I say, giving her a sympathetic look when my laughter finally dies down and I notice the look on her face.

"God, I have no idea either." She sighs as she sits down next to her.

We sit there for a minute before the doorbell rings, signaling that Jack was here.

"Call me when you get home." I say as I pull her into a hug, to which she just nods.

Done! Like I said, pretty short, but it's a lead in to next chapter, which is where the drama returns!

I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this chapter, as well as any guesses as to what might happen next chapter! I can tell you that it's something I've never written about before, so I'm a little nervous about it.

I'm hoping to have the next chapter up either Saturday or Sunday! I'm also hoping to update my story 'Worlds Collide' sometime this weekend too so fingers crossed!
