"You know, you're going to lose your job if you keep sleeping in like that,"
Sakura peeked through the bathroom door, smiling at the blond entangled in the covers. He lay face-down, arms outstretched to the space where she was supposed to be, and she was well aware her absence usually triggers his senses - her own personalized alarm clock.
He groaned in answer, grabbing her pillow and smothering his face in it. "Kage don't get fired."
"What?" She pretended not to hear, mumbling with the froth inside her mouth. He didn't answer, and she could only assume he was very close to falling asleep again.
The sun had risen and its rays streamed through the curtains, but it didn't stopper the chill in the wind that signaled the shift in season. Soon Konoha's trees would change to a color most associated with the current Hokage; the exact same person who didn't look too interested in getting out of bed.
Just as she expected, the room was filled with his soft snores the moment she entered it; his unruly hair stuck out all over the place, face to the side and mouth opened hugging her pillow. She couldn't help her eyes roll at the sight. She took a seat next to him, the mattress shifting on her weight, and almost immediately he woke with heavy lidded blue eyes staring back at her.
His brows furrowed in confusion, eyes scanning from her forehead to her legs. "You're wearing my shirt," he simply stated before yawning into her pillow.
"It looks good on me, I think. Just a little big on the sleeves," was her smug reply. "You're supposed to be getting dressed by now," she whispered, fingers skimming across his bare shoulders till she reached the back of his neck; feeling his breath hitch when her nails dug into his scalp.
"Not helping, Sakura-chan…" he moaned, turning his gaze to where his shirt hiked up, exposing her creamy thighs. She was right. It did look good on her. "Why are you up so early anyway? I should be the one parading around in all my sexiness."
"Well why don't you go do that now, Hokage-sama?" she giggled, giving his back a light smack.
"Ouch."
"Naruto you're going to be late."
"It's all your fault, you kept me up last night y'know? How about exerting a little effort in rousing me?"
"My fault?" she protested, crossing her arms.
"Yes, sweetheart. You couldn't resist me, you couldn't get enough of me, I mean what is a man to do it's not like I asked to be up late last night, didn't I?" he replied, with a smirk.
"I couldn't resist you? I couldn't get enough of you?"
"And while we're on the subject of resisting isn't it right that it's your day off today, which means you'll be here when I get home, which means you didn't have to go crazy over me last night but you just couldn't, couldn't get your hands off me… Tsk, tsk. I wonder…" he feigned a yawn, hugging her pillow and rubbing his nose on it.
She shifted in her seat and the shirt hiked once more; he dared to stare into her narrowed eyes, turning over just as she swung a leg over him.
"You wonder what?" she challenged, her fingers resuming light caresses on his arm as she straddled him. "Since you're so good at resisting me might as well get up for work, smart man."
"Oh I can do that," he smirked as he sat up, aiming to capture her lips and not caring much about his growing arousal beneath the bunched up blanket.
She turned her head and leaned away from his reach, his movement causing her to slide lower and bump on his length. "Of course you can, since you're so good resisting me." she laced her hands with chakra and placed each of his palms on the sides of her thighs; her voice dropping to a whisper in his ear as she leaned forward. "I could do this all day, Hokage-sama."
Unable to move, he bit his lip as she started to slowly grind her hips on him. His senses went on haywire; the warmth from her core seeping through and her jade eyes hypnotizing.
"You've gone quiet," she smiled as she met his heated gaze, her breath heavy on his lips, leaning back when he tried to kiss her again. He felt the blanket moisten beneath her grinding as his whole body ached and his desire peaked so high that he wasn't even smiling anymore.
"S-Sakura-chan," he breathed. "I need to get to work."
She abruptly stopped her ministrations and relinquished control over his hands; a triumphant smile forming on her lips as she crossed her arms once more. Despite the light blush spread on her cheeks, there was no denying who was in control here. "Ok then. Go."
He wasn't afraid of her.
She had power over him that existed even before she became aware of her own feelings, and even back when she did not reciprocate he would never have hesitated to submit himself to her. Over the years their relationship thrived in that way; putting each other first was not something that needed a second thought. He defined his love by making her happy; she defined her love by fulfilling his dreams.
Their marriage was no different, except she was a bit more cunning in the art of seduction. As much as it has left him, at times, at a slight disadvantage, he was kidding himself if he said he didn't love every minute of it.
"Oh I'm not going anywhere." He burst into laughter before capturing her lips in a deep, searing kiss, one arm quickly pulling her close while the other caressed her thigh. She responded in kind, fingers running through his hair as she melded into him till there was nothing in between but the fabric of their blanket.
"So who was it that couldn't get enough of who?" she smiled into his lips, gazing tenderly into his eyes, thumb brushing the whiskers on his cheek.
He sighed in defeat, pulling her even closer before peppering kisses on her face. "Not fair."
"I win," she reached down, stroking his length through the blanket.
"Sakura…" he hissed. "Shouldn't this be the time you warned me about getting fired because of sleeping in?"
"Well first of all, you're not sleeping. And second of all," she pulled his shirt over her head, a knowing smile formed on her lips.
"Kage don't get fired."
